If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you give a man a rat, you satisfy his rat desire. If a rat >> Hello. Don't you just love Cool. Hello. God bless you. I hope you're doing well. So, I got some things in the pipeline reaching out to preachers to try to bring them on. If you have any certain preachers you want to come on, either talk to them or tell me to reach out to them and I will try certain preacher for certain topics. You just get that whatever that is stop rattling. That would be great. This is perfect. All right. Beautiful. Got it. Black the day after Black Friday. It's going to be a fun day, huh? So, let's see. I I do have one thought for content that's going to be fun. Actually, a lot of fun. I think I think this year I might just uh I might just put Christmas on trial. Don't you just love cool phone mounts like these? I have two of them so that I can uh put my iPad on there. So, that's fun. All right. So, this makes me look like I have like the widest stomach known on demand. But hey, let's go. Maybe that's me talking about insecurity. Maybe it's not. I am losing weight. Wonder if I should post this or not. Sometimes I like to post uh videos of me just talking to myself about myself. was like cuz I believe in complete transparency right and vulnerability ever since I uh deleted Facebook, YouTube and Instagram and change a bunch of stuff I would say that on average across the times I'm a lot more um chill I would say so that's something I suppose so that's interesting more chill I'm still me. I mean, when I when preaching stuff comes out. So, may post some preaching clips. I don't know yet. I do have some people working clips, though. But, hey, putting Christmas on trial is going to be awesome because this podcast I I know I say this podcast a lot, but it's about truth. It's about investigating truth. And the the the title of it is is what do you mean by which I want people to think. I don't want you to believe something just because someone else does. Unless that's someone else's brother Brandan [laughter] or something like that. But like I would encourage people to uh search out the message for yourself and figure out why. And if you ask the question like why does some people do Christmas? Why does people not? Because they have different they have different ways of approaching different parts of the message which is good. And uh I'm all for that. And I think that variety is good. And when uh absolutes are introduced, you know, like only a Sith deals in absolutes, right? When it's introduced like, oh well, if you do it at all, you're just terrible, wrong, whatever. It's hilarious to me. But both sides have legitimate points. So that's what I would do in the courtroom trial thing is I would just is I would take literally I would listen to sermons from from the people I know of that oppose Christmas and sermons from those that I know of that don't and all the random stuff. And I'll have different witnesses and I'll prosecute Christmas. I'll defend it and I'll put out both sides the best that I possibly can. And then the verdict is up to you. Whatever you want to do. But what I would not want someone to do is say, "Well, I was raised this way. This is just the way it should be. So if you come against it, you're just wrong." That's lazy. Because brother Brandham said, "God is proving that he's ignoring your doctrine because he gave you the Holy Ghost." And if God, he said, and if God can give me the Holy Ghost in my peculiarities and you the Holy Ghost in your peculiarities, he said, "My brother likes to play golf and I think that's silly. I like to hunt [clears throat] and he thinks that's silly." We both have the Holy Ghost in our peculiarities. Or I would add I would uh you can take the same same concept and apply it. I like to celebrate Christmas and brother so and so thinks that's silly. He doesn't like to celebrate Christmas and I think that's silly. God gave us both the Holy Ghost and our peculiarities. But we can have a little fun with the uh with the details, right? Can put it on trial cuz we can do it. We can put both sides out there, right? Cuz the the truth that actually matters, I believe, is not whether or not you say Merry Christmas. It's do you have Jesus Christ on the throne of your soul, brother? Uh, brother Donnie Reagan preached a really good sermon that I heard one time on the absolute and he preached out the absolute actually is a born again experience. And I've took that and went fur and tried to continue it saying that I'm because I' i've witnessed a lot of false doctrine and a lot of people that had false doctrine and still lived fine or people that had false doctrine, you know, that left the message, you know, now they're magically living with their girlfriends and it's just not good. Uh, and it showed me that it was a lot less to do with the doctrine and more to do with where their heart really was. And if they were more in a relationship with being the man or in a relationship with Jesus Christ, it's going to be fun. Maybe I'll put rightness on trial. May maybe I could do that. Maybe I could. You know, I ever since I put the fleece up before the Lord and I got the answer like I know this is blood of God and I got to practice some wisdom because I'm only 25 years old, boys. Only 25. The problem isn't that I don't know what to say. It's that I have so many different things that I could say. Uh, oh boy. Accountability is not the is not the devil. If you're never responsible for your actions, then your actions are meaningless. There's a difference between responsibility for sin and responsibility for consequences. As Christians, we're supposed to crucify our flesh daily. That's the word that Paul used was crucify. He knew he knew all about that. He literally said, "The way that you're supposed to treat your carnal nature, that is hatred against God, it is not subject to the laws of God. Neither indeed can be." So, it can't ever be subject to it. If you can't have a prayer meeting so good that you never want to do dumb things ever again, you can't because you're still going to have that carnal nature. You just get better at fighting it. And every day is a respawn like a video game. But you got to crucify your flesh daily. It's like when I go to an alter in one of these camps and I pray for people. I tell them, "God brought you here. He doesn't bring people here in vain, but you did not come here to lay down your sword and have God do all the things for you and then you just walk in it. You're good." No. The same intention you came to this altar with, take it home with you and live it every day. Because as a Christian, you don't lose in the in the battle because the weapons aren't good enough. You lost because you stopped fighting. Jesus defeated sin. Yes. And he did not uh remove the carnal nature from our flesh. It's always going to be there until the rapture happens. That's what brother Brandham said. And our greatest enemy is not Satan and it's not the Antichrist. Our greatest enemy is ourselves. That's what brother Brandham said. He said, "The first thing you've got to overcome is you." Satan is a defeated enemy in Christ. But do you know where he's not a defeated enemy? In your choices, in your will. And your carnal nature is not a defeated enemy. Sin is defeated at Calvary. Yes. And your actions can never when you are in Christ, when you truly have a born again experience, predestinated seers activated and all that, your actions can never be held against you at judgment ever. And they do keep you from maturing your walk with God. So, you can still be a I believe personally you can still be a bloodwashed virgin bride of Jesus Christ and still have a terrible relationship with Jesus Christ because your carnal nature is the is in the way because you keep on blaming Satan for all your problems. The world, the world's antichrist is obsessed with making the female doineering spirit happy. And the way to do that is to preach a gospel that never tells you you're part of the problem. It only ever tells you you're perfect. Convictions treated as condemnation. Do you know what conviction is? Well, I'll tell condemnation. Condemnation is you are a crumbled up piece of paper and you're worthless. Throw it to the side. Conviction is I have a coffee here right here. It's right there. It's really nice coffee. And when I'm thirsty again and I don't drink that coffee, I feel something. I feel an emptiness that's not there. I feel an emptiness. Why? Because the coffee is not there. But it's never left me. It's right by my side. But why? Because I haven't take a drink from it. Conviction is not the guilty feeling of doing wrong. I hate I don't need to do an episode on it. I hate the concept and I wish we'd stop approaching it this way. I wish some people would stop approaching it this way. Right and wrong because that and that suggests that I'm doing something right because it's right or I'm not doing something wrong because it's wrong. In other words, it's authoritarianism. It's don't do this because I said so. No, I do what I want to do as a Christian. You know why I don't go to bars? Because I don't want to. because I have a relationship with Jesus Christ. My actions could never make it where I can't make a rapture ever. And I know that because I'm in Christ, because I've repented, because I have the baptism of the Holy Ghost by God's grace, because I have refilling enough to refill. And because I have backsliding times, because of all of those things, I know that I'm sealed and my actions could never be held against me. And that causes me. So conviction is the absence of the coffee. Conviction is the absence of intimacy with Jesus Christ. You married people or anybody that's ever been in a relationship and I've been in relationships. You know that if if someone's mad at you or if you let's say for instance if I ask a girl about her date and she tells me all about it and then or let's I'll just do it the opposite way so people aren't offended and I didn't care. If she asks me all about my day and I talk all about my day and then I say nothing after my day, what is she feeling? She's feeling the absence of being wanted. The absence of being of someone being interested in her rather than themselves. And if she starts telling me about her day and somehow I immediately make it about myself again, I'm she's feeling the absence of being wanted. And that's what Jesus feels when we don't crucify the carnal carnal nature every day because every day it's a reset. That carnal nature is between us and God and the relationship and we've got to crucify it. And if we don't, the counterfeit for emot for intimacy with Jesus Christ is emotional comfort. If I don't feel good, then you aren't right. Regardless of what's true, the word of God is supposed to make your carnal nature be crucified. The word of God is literally supposed to make your carnal nature feel like it's dying the most one of the most brutal deaths. like it's dying the very same death that Jesus died. That's what we're supposed to do with our carnal nature. But Satan's came in and that's his role is to try to convince us and get the preachers to preach that if you feel any emotional dis discomfort whatsoever, any voice that could possibly even suggest that you're part of the problem, it's satanic. That way you treat godly conviction, which is the absence of intimacy with Jesus Christ in your daily life as satanic condemnation. That's why Joel Ostein is so popular. Women love him. Popularity, money, and women, like brother Brandon warned us about, they're intertwined. Where you have a bunch of people, you're popular, a lot of money. You know who loves preaching where you're never the problem. You know who loves preaching? Well, you're never the problem. Everybody, especially women of the modern age. Because that's part of it. And just like brother Brandham was. I guarantee you. Actually, it's already happened where people have misinterpreted me and said I'm attacking women. I'm not. Like brother Brand says it's about it's not about you sisters now. It's about these modern women. The modern woman without the Holy Ghost, Brother Brandham said, is nothing but a human garbage can. That's what he said. And that's not about the woman even. I believe that's about what Satan has turned her into. The modern man without the Holy Ghost is nothing but a raging maniac. Conviction is the absence of intimacy with Jesus Christ. Why do I preach at a nursing home and do a service there by myself six times a month? Why do I uh preach at my church? Why do I worship at every service? Why do I make sure why did I like after I preach on Wednesday this last time the uh the audio cut out for like 30 minutes of my sermon and I actually had it recorded on my phone. So I um so I Why did I spend 3 and 1 half hours in the church after the service when I was exhausted from preaching? I still hadn't eaten yet, but I stayed there. I hadn't eaten yet for the whole day, but I stayed there until it was done setting it all up. because I wanted to. That's why. And why do I sometimes drift away from God? Because my carnal nature wants to. Why is Joel Ostein so popular? Because he preaches away accountability and he makes your carnal nature happy. That's why. And Jesus wants a relationship with you and with me. Conviction is the absence of of intimacy with Jesus Christ. It's the is cuz when you have a relationship with someone, you can almost feel their emotions. If they're not, this is this is why narcissists are so effective at manipulating their partners is because they know that when you're connected with them through trauma bond, whatever else, if they're not happy, they can actually tie your will of whether or not you think something is correct, not to truth itself, but to whether or not they're happy. And that's the perversion of what actually is where when we don't have devotions with God. When we don't spend time with him, he misses us. And conviction is the feeling of Jesus Christ missing you. We've got to separate two things. Okay? When you're in Christ and you have a born again experience and this is what I got to bring on like a Donnie Reagan or a bearing coffee on for maybe my dad. I don't know him. It has nothing to do with being raised in the message. That's nice. That's cool. But until you have a born again experience, it does not matter how many meetings you go to, how much you stand and clap, how much you speak in tongues. Even if you have been baptized, it took me three times to get it right. >> [laughter] >> So, uh, so you got to be born again. You must be born again. And my channel, one of the main goals is to communicate that in a way where it's clear to you because I think I might faint. Like every time I hear someone say like it's okay that they say it they're trying but like different God has different gifts for different people but uh every time I hear someone say well the key to your problems is you just have to get on the right channel with God. You have to get in the holiest of holies if you really dedicate if you really speaking with the Lord. You won't do that. It annoys me personally because then the person's like okay but what do I actually do? What does that actually mean? What actions do I actually take? That's that's one of the funny reasons why the tape only movement is so incomplete is because ironically tape only turns every listener into their own pastor. That's a really good point. Wow. I just came up with that. That's awesome. Maybe the Lord gave me that. Every tape only listener turns into their own pastor. turns every father into a pastor. And so, uh, just some of my thoughts. I love you guys very much. And let's see. I I didn't do a podcast episode this week because I've got the uh I have um it's Black Friday and I'm the guy that manages 17 stores. I'm the guy that has to be there, you know, the whole weekend. They told me, "You got to start at this certain time." And I said, "Okay, on Sunday, I'll head there after after church." They didn't. They were like, "Okay, I'm not working. I'm not working. I'm not going to miss church. No way." I have never taken a job where I had to miss church ever. The only time I ever missed church was like maybe once a year. With this job though, I just told him, "No, I'm not missing church." So, I love you guys. I because the the point of all these things that I'm saying is not for you to listen to and think, man, alive. David is so right. This is so good. David is so right. You know, even though that feels nice, the point actually is for you to think about it. Even if you disagree, praise God, you disagree. Think about it. Bring it to the scriptures. Please, for the love of God, do not use confirmation bias or cognitive dissonance where you think, "Oh, well, that just I I just I don't feel good while I'm listening to this, so it must be wrong." Oh, great. Your carnal nature loves you. Uh, so that's actually a good point. And part of you isn't suffering every day. You're not even serving God. Part of you isn't going to heaven. The carnal nature, part of you is supposed to be crucified every day. It's your carnal nature. It's part of your feelings, part of your intellect, part of your conscience, all of it. But, uh, think about it. Take it back to the word. If you think I'm wrong, awesome. Tell me. Think I'm wrong? Awesome. Tell me about it. Let's talk. Let's have that conversation. You know, I love this beard. This beard like, it looks amazing. I like it a lot. God gave me this beard. Okay. I like I can appreciate God's creation like you look in the mirror. My God, this is going to be fun. This is going to be interesting. Very interesting. This is going to be good. Remember that I believe that this is what I believe this isn't an opin I believe this is the truth. I believe this is a correct interpretation of what Paul was saying. Your carnal nature is part of your very being. So therefore, if part of your very of your very feelings and flesh is not suffering every day because it's not being fed, then you're not even serving God or you're majorly backsliding. and backslid. You know, I in my approach, I want to move it more more away from uh you can't do that. That's wrong. Stop doing that. That's wrong. That's wrong. That's wrong. What do you mean by wrong? What is wrong? That's satanic. What do you mean by satanic? Nuance is not the enemy, my friends. I don't serve God because it's right. I serve God because I want to. Because I have seen the value that it gives my life and others around me. That's why
