Why does it matter what we do, why we do things? Discipline is one of the greatest things God ever gave us because it is our it is us enacting on our own free will. Your decisions are your fault. And when you really realize that that when you decide something, it is 100% your fault. You can both be responsible for losing and for winning. When you're addicted to something, when you have something in your life and you pray for deliverance, sometimes God just removes it out of your life immediately, like he did with my mom. And for other people, he gives them the faith to overcome it through practical and spiritual applicational ways of doing it both through practical ways and spiritual ways. God doesn't always remove things as soon as we pray for them. Sometimes we work, sometimes we also work through them. And the way through that is through discipline. Discipline says, "I don't care how I feel. I don't care what the circumstances are. I don't care what what's happening. I'm going to follow through on what I committed to because when you commit to anything, you commit to making a series of small choices that you will make in service to that initial decision that you made. Discipline means I do things that I commit to regardless of how I feel, regardless of how others treat me, regardless of how much money I have, regardless of what people say about me. I am committed and I will do it regardless. That's discipline. See you tonight.
