The blood that gives me strength. Day. [Music] today. It will never lose its power. It soothes my doubts and calms my fears and it dries all my tears. The blood that gives me strength from day to day will never lose its power. For it reaches to the highest [Music] mountain and flows to the lowest valley. [Music] The blood that gives me strength from day to day. It will never lose its [Music] power. And it reaches to the highest mountain and flows to the lowest valley. [Music] The blood that gives me strength from day to day. It will never lose its [Laughter] power. Praise the Lord. Created me a clean heart. [Music] Oh, create me a clean heart. Oh [Music] God, and renew a right spirit within me. Create in me a clean heart, oh God, and renew a right spirit within me. [Music] Cast me not away from thy presence, oh Lord, and take not thy holy spirit from [Music] me. [Music] Restore unto me the joy of thy [Music] salvation. And renew a right spirit within [Music] me. Praise the Lord. Amen. Let's sing that song. Jesus sign my pardon. This I surely know. Jesus sign my pardon. And this I surely know. He took my place on Calvary. Now I don't have to go. All my life I give to him. He gave his for me when he signed my pardon there at Calvary. Life is now worth living since I've been set free. I'm glad he was willing to save a wretch like me. And now I have a mansion, not a prison doll. Jesus signed my pardon. Yes, he paid it all. It's number 600 in the books. Jesus signed my pardon. This I surely know. He took my place on Calvary. Now I don't have to go. All my life I give to him. He gave his for me when he signed my pardon there at Calvary. Oh, I was in sin's prison. Oh, so dark and cold. Like a lost sheep, I was wondering from God's eternal fold. And then the door sprang open and he spoke to me. I have signed your pardon. Now you can go free. Jesus signed my pardon. This I surely know. He took my place on Calary. Now I don't have to go. All my life I give to him. He gave his for me. When he signed my pardon there at [Music] Calvary. When my savior led me from that awful place. I could hear the angels. They sang Amazing Grace. And now I know I'm pardoned from all sin and shame. I will join them singing glory to his name. Jesus signed my pardon. This I surely know. He took my place on Calary. Now I don't have to go. All my life I give to him. He gave his for me. When he signed my pardon there at [Music] Calvary, I have found joy unspeakable. Oh, I have found his grace is all complete. He supply every need. While I sit and learn at Jesus feet, I am free as free indeed. It is joy unspeakable and full of gloryy full of glory full of glory. It is joy unspeakable and full of glory. Oh the half has never yet been told. I have found the pleasure I once craved. It is joy and peace within. What a wonderous blessing I am saved from the awful go of sin. It is joy unspeakable and full of gloryy full of glory. Full of glory and his joy unspeakable and full of glory. Oh the half has never yet been told. I have found that hope so bright and clear, living in the realm of grace. Oh, the Savior's presence is so near. I can see his smiling face. It is joy unspeakable and full of gloryy full of gloryy full of glory in his joy unspeakable and full of glory all I have has never yet been told. I have found the joy. No tongue can tell. How its waves of glory. Oh, it is like a grain overflowing well, springing up within my soul. It is joy unspeakable and full of gloryy full of glory. Full of glory in his joy. Unspeakable and full of glory. Oh the half has never yet been told. Praise the Lord. Amen. How many's happy? We're past the point of condemnation. We're into the point of joy. We don't need to live on the razor's edge of fear and doubt. We can live in in the grace, trusting that the grace will still be there when we fall. And it'll be there when we're He loves us just as much when we're walking straight as when we're tripping. He'll pick us up either way. Amen. Amen. Let's give the Lord a hand. Amen. Amen. Let's uh we don't have any prayer requests up here, but if anyone has anything on their heart, just lift your hands to the Lord. And uh let's remember mom and dad and Thomas and Ruth. They're out traveling. And uh let's remember each and every situation with all our families and Amy with maybe coming and Levi and the other babies. Uh anything else? Okay, let's all bow our heads. Heavenly Father, we thank you, Lord, for loving us. We thank you, Lord, for putting us in this situation, Lord, this wonderful country we're in, this wonderful church. Lord, we pray you please help us, Father. Lord, thank you for this opportunity to worship you. Thank you, Lord, for this place and for each one of us gathering together and making that fire just that much bigger. Father, we pray you be with every situation, with all those we love. Father, Father, we pray you be with and guide all our family. Lord, please keep everyone safe on these roads. And we want to thank you and we want to praise you in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. I'm going to put this here if anyone has uh let's sing that song. I've got a river of life flowing out of me. There's a river of life flowing out of me. Makes the lame to walk and the blind to see. Opens prison doors. Sets the captives free. There's a river of life flowing out of me. Spring up a well within my soul. Spring up a well and make me whole. Spring up a well and give to me that life abundantly. For there's a river of life flowing out of me. Makes the lame to walk and the blind to see. opens prison doors, sets the captives free. There's a river of life flowing out of me. Praise the Lord. Let's all stand as David comes out. Let's sing fill my way with love. [Music] Let me Let me walk blessed Lord in the way thou has gone. Leading straight to the land [Music] above. Giving cheer everywhere to the sad and the lone. Fill my way every day with love. Fill my way every day with love as I walk with a heavenly dove. Let me go all the while with a song and a smile. Fill my way every day with love. Keep me close to the side of my savior and guide. Let me never in darkness rose. Keep my path free from wrath and my soul satisfied. Fill my way every day with love. Fill my way every day with love. As I walk with a heavenly dove. Let me go all the while with a song and a smile. Le my way every day with love. Soon the race will be over and I'll travel no more but abide in my home above. Let me sing blessed king all the way to the shore. Fill my way every day with love. [Music] every [Music] day. God bless you everyone. It's good to be here with you all. [Music] Let's see from this glory of the [Music] living ever [Music] I God saveior and Jesus was his [Music] name to his strange [Music] A sorrow of [Music] me. Oh, how I adore him. My breath, my [Music] sunshine, my all [Music] it became myior and all God's [Music] Thank you. [Music] [Music] Somebody's [Music] praying for me. [Music] mighty hands are guiding me to protect me from what I can't see. Lord, I believe. Lord, I believe. [Music] me. Angels are watching. I can't feel it. Angels are watching over [Music] me. There's many miles [Music] ahead. I'm safely kept your throne. Lord, I believe. Lord, I believe. Angels are watching over me. Well, [Music] I've stone. I've been through the darkest caverns where no light has ever shown. Still I went on there who was down on their knees. Lord, I thank you for those people praying all this time for me. Somebody's praying. I can feel it. [Music] mighty hands are guiding me to protect me from what I can't see. Lord, I believe. Lord, I believe. for me. Oh, mighty hands are guiding me to protect me from what I can't [Laughter] see. Lord, I [Music] believe. Lord, I believe somebody's praying for me. Thank you, sir. Amen. [Music] Amen. Do you believe that? You turn the guitar mic on, please. You guys can stay seated just for a little minute here. [Music] Um, we're remembering mom and dad in prayer in Wisconsin and us traveling as well. Key of D. [Music] I bet Satan keeps wondering, "What can I do to get them to stop?" And he's so frustrated cuz he knows the true sons and daughters of God. I'll tell you what he can do to get me to stop. Nothing. He can slow me down. He can disappoint me. He can make me sad. But he can't stop me. Amen. Well, it's as old as the Bible. The folks, they keep on searching. They're discouraged, downhearted, worried about their destiny. But there are too many answers to keep on asking the same old questions. I found Jesus. And let me tell you, brother, that's enough for me. I'm going to keep on singing and telling folks about Jesus. I'm going to keep on writing and mainly in the major keys. I'm going to keep on loving and pointing lost folks to Calvary. I found Jesus and let me tell you, brother, that's enough for me. I know people who are frightened about the future of our country and they ask me if I'm worried about the market or the economy. But I have a pilot who has weathered every storm that's ever happened. And if he sees that little sparrow, I know he sees you and me, too. I'm going to keep on singing and tell folks about Jesus. I'm going to keep on writing and mainly in the major keys. I'm going to keep on loving and porting folks to Calvary. I found Jesus and let me tell you, brother, that's enough for [Music] me. Thank you, musician. Musicians. Hey, man. Is that enough for you? Found Jesus? Well, it just so happens I'm preaching about Jesus today, so it goes right in. God bless you all. Let's all stand. We'll be turning in our Bibles. Let's keep mom and dad and Ruth and Thomas in prayer. I'm flying out tomorrow, so that's going to be fun, Lord willing. Let's keep everybody in prayer. It all goes well. Dad's preaching at Brother David Morris tonight, so let's remember him in prayer. And we'll be turning in our Bibles to the book of Revelation and the book of Isaiah. Revelations chapter 3 and verse 13 to verse 20. So Revelations at the end of the Bible. Certainly count an honor and a privilege to be here preaching tonight. Revelations chapter 3 starting with verse 13. Just say amen when you're there. Amen. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith unto the churches. And unto the angel of the church of the leadyans, write these sing these things saith the amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God. I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot. I will spew thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich and increase with goods, and of need of nothing, and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. I counseledled thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich, and white reignment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear, and anoint thine eyes with thy sad, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Bezels, therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come unto him and will s with him and he with me. And we'll be reading from the book of Isaiah 14:12. Isaiah is to between the middle and the beginning of the book. So Isaiah chapter 14, we're starting in verse 12, reading to verse 14. Say amen when you're there. Isaiah 14 and 12 enjoyed Sarah's special. Thank you for that. Sarah, everyone there? Isaiah 14 and 12. Amen. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer? Can you read that, Sister Faith? Awesome. Son of the morning. How art thou fallen from heaven, oh Lucifer, son of the morning? How art thou cut down to the ground which did weaken the nations? For thou has said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation and the sides of the north. I will ascend above above the heights of the clouds. I will be like the most high. We'll close our Bibles and may the Lord add his blessings to the reading of his words. We bow our heads. Gracious Lord, we had the song service. We sang the songs. We put together the sermon. Lord, I give myself to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. audience and speaker alike, surrender myself to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. It's the greatest honor of my life to be here. Lord, speak yourself. I ask it all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. All right. God bless you. You may be seated. In our text, we hear two voices, Jesus and Satan. And these are the two voices speaking to you and me every single day. One knocks and one exalts himself like the most high without asking. One Jesus wants a mutual relationship and Satan wants a controlling relationship. Brother Brandham said in the greatest battle ever fought. But do you realize that there really is only two powers in all the universe? of all of our differences between nations and differences between each other and everything. It all mounts, it all mounts up to two powers. There's only two powers and there's only two kingdoms, two powers and two kingdoms. All the rest, the little minor things are connected with either one of those powers. And those powers is God's power and Satan's power. That's what every war, every disorder, everything that comes along, it's either controlled by God's power or Satan's power because that's the only two powers there is. And that is the power of life and the power of death. Now, that's the only two powers. And Satan can only his power he's got is the perverted power of God. It isn't no real power. It's a perversion of God's power. Everything that Satan has, death is only a perverted life. A lie is only the truth mistold. See, adultery is a act misused, a righteous act misused. See, everything that Satan has got is something that was perverted, but it's a power. Brother Brennham said also in God's provided way. See, there is there's only two there is only two ways of anything. That is the right way and the wrong way. That is your way and God's way. You can't have your own way and be in God's way. And you can't be in God's way and have your own way. See, so it is one or the other. It is either your way or God's way. It is your thoughts or God's words. See, you have to accept one. You can't have your own thinking. So man was born to failure and he's always been a failure. So why try to rely upon your own understanding? Why not take God's way of it? Cuz he always brings you outright. And now when he provides a way and the people doesn't walk in that way. When he provides a way and the people doesn't walk in that way, it's further down. Then it is not God's fault. God provides a way. People don't walk in that way. It's not God's fault. And tonight we're going to continue the undefeated battleground series part eight. And question tonight is, it's on there. Question tonight is, do you want a relationship with Jesus or with Satan? Do you want a relationship with Jesus or with Satan? Tonight, I want to illustrate that there aren't multiple ways of living life. As brother Brandham said, there's only two ways. It's God's way and your way. Satan's power and God's power. And Satan wants us to live for self. God wants us to live for him. So, do you want a relationship with Jesus or with Satan? Both Jesus and Satan, I want to say, want a relationship with you, but for very different reasons. And everything in our life, I believe, is built on the foundation of relationships. relationships with your car, with your phone, with your hands, with your body, with your friends, with your girlfriend, with your husband, your wife, whatever that it is, everything is relationships. And the definition of relationship on the projector is a relationship is a sustained connection between two parties built through time, attention, interaction, and alignment of desires. It can be mutual or one-sided, nurturing or controlling, chosen or assumed. and down. Every person lives in constant relationship with people, objects, thoughts, habits, and unseen influences. But at the core, every life is shaped by one of two ultimate relationships. I believe a relationship with Jesus is one of invitation and intimacy. He knocks, he waits. He offers shared life through love, truth, and surrender. And also a relationship with Satan is one of influence and control. He exalts himself. He infiltrates. He seeks alignment through pride, deception, and independence. But there's so much information in this modern age that it is so easy to forget where we came from. But so I want to know and I want to look in tonight. What's the origin of the idea of a relationship? Where did it come from? Brother Brandham said in the Christ is the mystery of God revealed. He says now God's secret mystery he had before the world began. Now back in the back part of God's mind, there was something that he was trying and was going to achieve and he had a motive in doing it in order to let himself be expressed because first there wasn't even a moon, star, atom, molecule or anything. He was God. But he exactly wasn't God at that time because God is an object of worship and there wasn't nothing to worship him. So in his great mind he wanted these attributes to be expressed. In him was love. In him was to be father. In him was to be son. In him was to be a savior. In him was to be a healer. And all these great attributes that we see already expressed. They were in God. So my opinion the first thing that he made was angels and they worshiped and then they worshiped him and that made him go and he started from there. As in previous messages, I have tried to explain it, break it down. And now then, when angels began to worship him that there was before there was even a molecule in the earth, there was nothing. It was all darkness. There wasn't no sun, nor no moon, no stars, no nothing. Then he was God. As he asked Job, "Where was you when I laid the foundations of the world?" See, when the morning stars sang together, the sons of God shouted for joy. See, now where were you? See, that was way back before the earth. Now God had a purpose and a hidden mystery and I believe in those eternities before time began before God created anything in him was to be a father in him was to be a son to be a healer to be a savior to be a redeemer but there wasn't anything to redeem and he wanted to ex and he had so much love there was now we have all this all these ideas and what is love what is truth what is good what is evil But back then there was only one. It was just God. He was everything that was good, everything that was holy, everything that was righteous. What is truth? God is truth. What is right? God is right. What is goodness? God is goodness. It all came from him. He was the only thing that existed. But he was by himself. He was awesome. He was incredible. But he was by himself. And he was alone. And he wanted to express these attributes in a people. I believe. Amen. He has so much love, but he had no one to give it to. And I believe that Satan wants to turn the gospel into something that only needs to be done at church, at an altar when you're crying, when you don't want to go to hell, and then live the rest of your life any old way. Because Satan wants to receive worship. And he does not receive worship by making his own doctrine and his own ideas because he can't. He can only take what God has already made and pervert it. But I believe that the Bible is not a just a set of doctrines or just a set of ideas, but it is the very heart of God manifested to his people. Brother Brandham said in El Shadai, he said, "Now notice in reading the the Bible, it's a love letter to the church. Now when I get overseas, meter writes me a letter and she says, "Dear Billy, I'm sitting here tonight. Just got the baby to sleep." And so forth. She is saying something here. But you see, I I can tell what she's talking about because I love her so much. I know all about her and I can read between the lines. I know what she is saying. See, reading between the lines. Now, God has wrote the Bible, a love letter to his church. Until you read the with love, you'll never be able through a cold educational program ever find God. You got to ha you've got to have the love of God in your heart. Then you read between the lines. That's where the real thing lays. I'll appreciate what Mita says, but it's the love that I find between the lines that counts to me. That's the way it is with the Bible. I read between the lines what he's saying. Let's read between the lines of these scriptures here. Genesis 1:26. And God said, "Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness. Let him have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them. And then Genesis 2:18, and the Lord God after he gives Adam all this power, Adam is the only human being on earth. Adam is by himself. Adam is the only source of awesomeness. He's the only source of what is good, of what is holy, of what is a human being on the earth. But he's alone. And the Lord God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make an help for him." Was this by accident? Was this some random thing? No. I believe that God knew what it was like to be the very source of all that is holy and all that is good and all that is awesome in any dimension because that's where God was. So he created everything and that's where Adam was. He needed a helpmate. So God made that for him. I once thought of a saying I think like 8 years ago or something. There's no great there's no point. I don't know who I got it from or where I got it from, but I thought there's no point in having great possessions if you have no one to share them with. I can build a great life, but if I don't have Jenny, it doesn't mean it as much. It just doesn't. And I believe that the very what Satan wants to do is take the gospel and make it into sin equals bad, Satan equals bad, love equals good. God saves you from bad thing. That's it. And while that's true, Satan's omitting a lot of details. It's not an objective, but omitting is where you leave stuff out. That's not the whole picture. Satan wants a relationship, but with people, but it functions very differently. And the Bible is God's love letter to his bride, and he wants a relationship with us, too. So, what is Jesus's approach? Revelations chapter 3, behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man will hear my voice and open the door, I will come to him and will s with him and he with me. To him that overcomemeth will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame. My throne means heaven and am sat down with my father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear with the spirit saith unto the churches. So on this painting here, you probably need to adjust the camera. This painting shows there is you notice there's no there's no uh door knob on the outside. Jesus has the ability to snap his fingers just to think of it and make the door disappear. He created it all. But he he wants he has so much love in his heart. He has so much joy that he wants to give. The entire reason he created everything was to have a bride. That's why it wasn't so that he could be right. It wasn't so that he could be just the king over us and we're saved and we're good. But he wants a relationship. Which is why his approach is I stand at the door and knock and then he waits. And that's all he does. You notice you get the feeling to read your Bible a few times a day, maybe not that much. And then he goes away. He says, "He that hath an ear, let him hear. If you're my bride, please hear what I'm saying to you." And this is it was so neat that I was thinking that this is the this is the blessing and this is the thing to preach for this day. And literally, this chapter is about Leodysia. That's the age we're in, right? So what now? I want to know though the that's how Jesus approaches us. Now I want to know what does Jesus think of us. Song of Solomon chapter 2:14. Oh my dove that art in the cliffs of the rock in the secret places of the stairs. Let me see thy countenance. Let me hear thy voice. For sweet is thy voice and thou kind and thy countenance is coming. We can really visualize and know that we think so much of Jesus. But did you know he thinks so much of you? He wants to express to you how much he loves you. And he already knew that Satan would rebel. So he created you for the sole purpose of loving you. Of course, there's other purposes and you can get into semantics, of course, but the main reason was cuz you're his bride and he loves you. Amen. Now, what does Satan want? Satan also wants a relationship with you, but not because he loves you. Satan doesn't care about you. He wants worship. He wants glory. He wants to be like God or higher than God, but he doesn't want to suffer. He doesn't want to earn it. He doesn't want to give. And he doesn't want to love. He just wants all the reward. Like brother Brandham said, not in the projector. Power part power apart from character is satanic. Satan wants all the reward and none of the responsibility. His approach is Isaiah chapter 14 on the projector. How art thou fallen from heaven, Elucifer, son of the morning? How art thou cut down to the ground which did weaken the nations? For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. That's the sons of God. He said, I will be higher than the very sons you created. You will create. I will sit also upon the mountain of the congregation, the sides of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. I will be like the most high. So what was Satan's plan? What does Satan do? He wants to be worshiped, but he couldn't create anything. So he so all he can do is take what God already made and pervert it and change it. So he comes up with a program counter to what God is saying. He comes to the angels and he says, "Guys, you know this thing of uh how God has his own idea because you know what sin actually is? It's it's a it's unbelief in God. And in order for Satan to do this, what he had to do is to consider, you know what? Maybe there is some goodness outside of God. Maybe I can just alter the program and I can be God. I can be worshiped. I can get the glory. And you know what makes Satan evil? Actually, it isn't only that he wants all the glory for himself. It's that he put us through the suffering that he put us through and deceived Eve. Do you know why? It wasn't so he could build his kingdom and we could be his wife. No, it was because he could so he could get worship from us and he doesn't care how much suffering he causes while he gets it. He only wants adoration, worship, and our and our just worship from people, but he doesn't want any of the responsibility of giving it back. Satan wants all the reward of praise and none of the responsibility. Amen. He wants to be worshiped. So what did he do? He comes down and talks to Eve. I believe that he built rapport with her. I believe he said, "Yeah, I was I'm I'm God's second in command." And then he told her a bunch of truth that she already knew about and it felt really good. And then he introduced some things to her. I believe he introduced to her, "Hey, you can be desired, too." I believe he introduced the idea of being sexually attractive to Eve. He said, "Hey, you can be desired, too. It's okay." And then he introduced God's word to her and asked her a question. He left it he left out key details, of course. He left out the part where he was kicked out of heaven, but he wants to be worshiped and he doesn't care how much pain he causes in order to get it. So, builds rapport with her and he gets her to take the fruit by deceiving her by by beguiling her because he got her to consider just for a moment. Hath God said that? Did God really say that? You all he did was change one detail. You're not going to die. You're God knows in the day you eat of you'll be like God. You'll know good and evil. What did he present to her? You don't have to face the consequences of your own actions. You can get all of the reward and you don't have to have any responsibility. That's what he presented to her. And you can be desired and you get to be worshiped. Eve, who does this god think he is? But he didn't present it like that. He presented it as like a nice thing. But what he wanted was worship and adoration for an idea that he created. But he couldn't create ideas. All he could take was what Jesus made and pervert it slightly. And any per and like brother Brandham said, it's not in the projector, but 99% was the truth that he gave to Eve. Only 1% was changed. And then he received worship through that. And he put his own life into the human race. That's the serpent's seed. And I believe that in every situation since then, both Jesus and Satan, what is their goal? In the most simple form, Satan wants you to think God's goal is just to save you and that's it. But I don't think so. Satan wants a relationship with you. And Jesus also wants a relationship with you. 2 Corinthians 11:3 where Paul's talking to the Corinthians about what he's fearing of what's going on. He said, "But I fear lest by any means as the serpent begiled Eve." Because this wasn't just a problem in the beginning of the Bible. This is a problem in the New Testament, too. even after Jesus died and rose again. But I fearless by any means as the serpent begal eve through his subility. So your mind should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For he that cometh preacheth that Jesus is false and that Satan is the true God. Oh, he doesn't say that. He preacheth another Jesus. Another Jesus. The same name. 99 the same name. 99% the same. It's not in the notes. That's free. the same name, the same scriptures, the same quotes, the same approach. All it's 99% the same, right? He cometh preacheth another Jesus whom we have not preached. Or if you receive another spirit which you have not received, or another gospel which you have not accepted, you might be aware with him. Skip to verse 13. Satan receives worship through presenting his omitted and contradiction gospel, but he makes it sound holier and more righteous than the actual gospel. How does he do it? For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into horns and red, a red guy with horns and a pitchfork. Uh-uh. No. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was trying to convince everybody that he exists as the worst bad guy. No, he doesn't. He looks holy. He looks righteous. He transfor such are false apostles, deceitful workers transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. What does Satan want? He wants your attention, your adoration, and your love. What does God want? A reciprocal relationship. He does. He doesn't just want your attention and your love. He wants to give you attention and love, but Satan doesn't care about that. How does God get it? Through suffering for his own people and being there with them. How does Satan get it? Through pitting through putting God's people under suffering so that he can be praised through a perversion of God's gospel. Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness whose end shall be according to their works. What were they doing? Paul was recognizing that people would take the greatest things that Paul was preaching and, you know, just leave out the daily repenting part. Just leave out the part where you need to grow and all that. It doesn't matter. God already saved you at Calvary. You're good. That's all. Now, let's just be happy all the time and relax and cocktails and chocolate cake all the time. You need something? Oh, thank you. That's what he wanted. You got the salvation. You don't need it anymore. But I want to introduce an idea to you tonight because Satan has tried to change this gospel into a gospel to be right all the time and to be more right than someone else. But I want to introduce myself and us back to the person of Jesus Christ. Not just for the rightness, not just for the all the tapes and the Bible and the praying and everything else. But all those things are not the main goal. The main goal and the reward is a full relationship with Jesus Christ the person. And if Satan Kennedy will change it into a relationship with the idea, the concept, the doctrine, the reading, the listening, the praying, and everything except Jesus himself, the person. Satan isn't wrong because he's pitchforking horns. I need that water, please. He's wrong because he changes just a tiny bit. just a tiny bit. There's once people on Facebook that were changing the quotes of brother Brandham and posting him, putting his name with him and I noticed it. I was like, "That's not how he talks." And they said, "Oh, it doesn't matter. It says the same thing." I said, "No, it doesn't. You stay with the same word." They say, "Oh, it's like preaching." Well, I said, "You're when I'm preaching, I'm not saying Brother Brandham said it word for word." But how do they present it? We're improving it. for helping uh Matthew chapter 4 and verse 8. What did Satan do when he saw Jesus again? The devil taketh him up unto an exceeding high mountain and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them and and saith unto Jesus and him all these things will I give thee if you just fall down and worship me. And to worship Satan isn't to say you worship Satan. It's to just be identified with with the name of Jesus and not live the life because that's what the Caiaphas was doing in his day. He was identified with the name of God living the religious things and didn't have an ounce of God in him. And they rejected and killed Jesus. Amen. All these things will I give thee that will fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, "Get thee hints. Go away, Satan, for it is written, thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." He's telling Satan, "Hey, I'm the only one you're supposed to worship. You're not supposed to serve others. You're supposed not supposed to serve yourself. You're supposed to serve the Lord thy God. Him only shalt thou serve." What did Jesus say no to? Why did he say no? Because he wasn't on earth to get an earthly kingdom. He was on earth to redeem a bride back to himself. The point of this gospel is not just, oh, I'm saved from hell and I'm good. Praise the Lord. Where's a Bible? Let's go home, right? That's it. Oh, God sent a message. There we go. Cool. Yeah, we're saved. We're good. We're going to rapture. Is But is that true, though? Yeah, it's true. But Satan doesn't lie by contradiction always. A lot of times it's by omission. He just leaves it out. And by getting people to do that, Satan receives worship unto himself. He goes to G. He went to God and he says, "Hey, I can I can get Job to really trip up. Just let me do this." And Satan goes to God now and he says, "Oh, I just got him to say they're saved." And that's it. They're good. No more growth necessary. You don't need a relationship with Jesus. It's all good now. Right? And through that, he receives attention, adoration, and worship. And he doesn't give any back because that's what he really wants. It's an ego war for Satan. He's like, "See, God, I got them. I took just parts of your gospel, repeated them back to the people, and they like what I gave them more than they like your original." He stands at the door and knocks. But now we can see Jesus wants a loving relationship. Satan wants a relationship where he receives worship by presenting to the people 99% of the gospel. An omitted gospel. It doesn't include the whole thing. You say, "Oh, well, 99% of the gospel is the right thing. That's that's God's stuff." No, God's word is only is correct when it's 100% correct. You take one little part of it, it ruins the whole thing. One word added caused all this suffering. Imagine what he could do if he changed more. Brother Brandham said in Satan's Eden about the condition today. Oh Lord. Can you scroll down Anna? He said in Satan's Eden. Now we read also in Revelations 14, Revelation 3:14 rather the Leodysian church age that how the church would be in this last day and how it would be. It says it would sit as a widow and have need of nothing. It it was rich in increasing goods and know it not that they were poor, miserable, wretched, blind, and naked and didn't know it. Now remember, now remember he is speaking to the church of this age. Wretched, blind, naked, and don't know it. That last phrase, that last word is what makes it so striking. They think that they are all well filled with the spirit. They're all ready. The learian church age is the Pentecostal church age because it's the last church age. Luther had his message. Wesley had his message and Pentecost had their message. Also, it said that because you are lukewarm, neither hot or cold, the emotions of the outside, the mental conception of the gospel because he said, "You're that way. I'll spew you out of my mouth." In other words, it made him sick to see the church in that condition. Not because you guys are wrong and my way is right, but because he loves the church. Whereas bride, he can't stand to see the church in that condition. And remember, they spewed him out. They cast him out and he was on the outside of that church trying to get back on the inside in that awful Leodysian church age. The god of this world today. Oh, David, where are you getting these ideas from? The god of this world today, the worshiped person of this world today is Satan. And the people are ignorant of worshiping Satan. But it's Satan impersonating himself as the church. See, as the church, they worship Satan thinking that they are worshiping God through the church. But it's the way Satan has done it. Oh, you say, "But wait a minute. We preached the word. Look back here at my text tonight. Satan was the one that preached the word to Eve first. God hath said, see, it's that misconstring, that part of the scripture that applies to the day. He'll let you know all Jesus did was perfectly well. He'll let you know that all that Moses did was perfectly well. But when you take the promises that they gave for this day, then that was applied to another age. That's just all he has to do. See, is to get the people to believe it that way. And that that's all. For you cannot take one word away from it or add one word to it. But that's what he does. People ignorantly worshiping Satan thinking they are worshiping God. And how do they do it? How does S how did Satan do it to the Colossians? Colossians 2:1. For I would that you knew what great conflict I have for you and for them a for as many as I have not seen my face in the flesh. This I say lest any man should begal you with enticing words. For though I am not there in the in person, yet I'm with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order. And the steadfastness steadfastness of your faith in Christ, as you have rooted therefore, Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him, rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith as you have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware, he said all those things so that he can say this verse. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. So how does he do it? What does that mean? and spoil you through philosophy or vain deceit. I'll tell you what they do. Satan takes all of the power from the word of God about the person of Jesus and turns it all into an idea or philosophy without introducing Jesus as a person that wants to have a relationship with you. He'll present it even as the highest order of what a person could be. But he'll never introduce it in the popular sphere as a person that wants to have a relationship with you. He's okay with it being presented as as a as a person to to save you from hell or maybe a tradition to do where you go to church and everything. But a person to have a daily relationship with, no way. You don't need it. You're sealed. You're saved. You're good. You go to the church, you identified with the name Jesus, so you're good. Why? Because when we do that, when people do that, they're indirectly not knowing it, worshiping Satan. Because that's not God's program. God wants a relationship with them. And philosophy and deain deceit and the tradition of men after the rudiments of the world and not after Christ spoils us because it takes all of the power from the gospel and turns it into an idea instead of the person of Jesus Christ. It makes it all about, oh, is this right? What is truth? What is right? What is wrong? But it makes none of it about Jesus the person. Jesus isn't right because he's more right than other people are. He's what is right because he existed before the foundation of anything that was in time. He is truth. He is life. I am the way, the truth, and the life. Oh, what is truth? He is what is right. He is what's the purpose of life? He is. What's all that is good and holy? He is. That's all that it is. vain men spoiling them, taking the very power from this gospel and presenting it as ideas and not a person. This message is not true because it's a set of ideas that make more sense than the other people's set of ideas. It's Jesus Christ reintroducing himself back to his people, not in a projector. But Malachi 4:5, behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord, and he will turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children. That was John the Baptist. Jesus back to his children and the hearts of the children back to the fathers. That was brother Brandham today. He brought our hearts back to Jesus not just to be saved but to come back into a marriage relationship with the very person that created us for this purpose. Amen. Amen. this message because it's more right or it's more better or it sounds nicer. It's because it's the person of Jesus Christ. It doesn't leave things out. It's God himself. Oh, that that's how they spoil you. Through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world. Not saying those things are wrong, but what's wrong about it? They're not after Christ the person. They're after Christ the idea. If Satan can just distill Jesus down to an idea or a concept or some person that existed 20 25 years ago, 2,25 years ago, then it's the very heart of God. He's a person. He's personal and he loves you and he wants you. Yes, his ideas are great, but the greatest is his person. He loves you. He wants you. That's why he put you here is to have a relationship with him every single day and every night, right? 2 Thessalonians 2:3, "Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of predition, who opposeth." What's the son of the man of sin? How did how is he revealed? The son of predition. What in the world does predition mean? I have no idea. Predition definition. I don't know. What does predition mean? Lost. To be lost. Okay. The son of being lost. Who oppo. What does he do? He opposeth and exaltth himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped. So that he as God siteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. He's the source of all ideas. He knows everything about everything. And he what does he do? He makes the gospel about an argument. God help me. Who are you preaching about? Me. I've had where I go. I just have debates and arguments. I'm like, "Hey, friend recently told me, hey, stop being stop trying to be right. Can you see the other side and the truth that they have?" And my friend, Brother Trevor, he really helped me. I was like, "Oh, wait. It isn't about whether or not this has this much or that much. It's about does this help a relationship or hurt it." This message is not about the right or the wrong. That's not the main course. This doesn't bring you back into a relationship with Jesus, the person. We don't stop doing wrong and stop lust and stop speeding down the road and stop killing people because God said it's wrong. That's not why. Do it because we want a relationship with Jesus. And that stands in the way. I don't go out drinking and smoking not because I can't, but because it would hurt my relationship with Jenny. It would hurt her and her feelings matter more to me than mine. It's been killing me the last couple days. I've been awake getting ready for the sermon and I want a relationship with Jenny, but I'm focusing on the sermon. When people say that the entire point of being with God is to just be saved and that's it, that's like saying the entire point of me being with Jenny is so that so that I'm not single anymore. Or, you know, Sister Faze with brother Jimmy or sister Fa Faze with brother Ed or sister Suzanne's with brother Jimmy. That way she you know, Brother Jimmy's not single anymore. You know, he's saved from being single. Why is that wrong? Sister Suzanne. You're part of him. He's part of you. You're in a relationship. How long you been married? 34 years. 34 years. What about you, Sister Fa? Why is the why is your relationship valuable for the other than, you know, what brother Ed brought you out of and the very existence? What makes your relationship so special beyond just it existing? The joy of the love he gave me. The joy and the love that he gave you. But didn't you have terrible times and people dying and everything? Well, how could you have terrible times and and it be a great time? Knowing he's in heaven is what what gives me peace and joy. Knowing he's in heaven gives you great peace and joy. Jesus didn't come to restore us back to rightness. He came to restore us back to himself. Right isn't an idea of the arguments, endless arguments. It's Jesus. You know, marriage isn't just great because it exists. It's great because it from what I can see, you guys go through ups and downs. And the very point of it, the reward is the relationship. Not just its existence, but the ups and the downs when when you get a puppy and then 12 years later the dog dies. It's all part of it. The reward of salvation is not just So, hell isn't just fire and brimstone. It's also an eternal separation from God. What is salvation? An eternal connection with God. Amen. Satan is an approach, a way of getting worship. That sounds great. Revelations 3:17. Because thou sayest, I am rich and increase with goods and have need of nothing and knowest not that thou art wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. Why? Because they treat Jesus as a transaction machine. As a just save me, put me in a bunker and save me from hell and I'm good. Thank you, Lord. See you later. See you at church every once a week. And Satan's like, "Let's go. They're worshiping me now. That's his idea. But it's omitting. But that's not a marriage relationship, is it? I I'm not married. But is a marriage relationship just getting saved from being single? Or is it more than that? Way more. It's way more than that. But is it all good news? It is all Is it all amazing all the time? No. Is it also what with him? It is yours is. Yes. But you do go through hard times, don't you? Real difficult times. But you know what makes the great times so good? What makes the great times count so much? The love. Because the love and because you went through the hard times. When Satan gives us the the one of the main tragedies of the gospel is that Satan presents a gospel that takes away all the value of winning. Power without character isn't satanic because it uh because it's wrong necessarily. It's it's satanic and it's wrong because it doesn't mean anything. If I came to service every single service, let's go. Amazing. Praise the Lord. Yes. I'm not going to do that when dad dies or mom dies or my dog dies. I'll have highs and lows cuz it's a relationship. All the different kinds. You know how by God's grace I can appreciate a nice relationship with Jenny? It's cuz I went through some terrible seasons of being single. You know why Sarah can miss Dominique with such passion? Why Sarah love him? Because you love him and because you went through having him with you. That's what makes it valuable. When we take when Satan takes out one part, you think, "Oh, it sounds good to have all the reward, none of the responsibility." No, it's not. This program of Jesus Christ is not, oh well, it's not as good. No, it's the best way of doing it. It's the most righteous way of doing it. It gives you the most satisfaction and the most fulfillment. Jesus didn't save you to himself just for you to your reward to be him. What's his reward? It's you. It's the relationship, not just the salvation. It's the relationship. I've went through some really tough times and some really tough battles. And now by God's grace in this season of life, it's been really nice. But it's really, really cool. You know why I can appreciate this this season of life is because I went through something real difficult. So I want a relationship with Jesus. You know in the garden of Gethsemane when it's not in the projector but when Jesus looked at Judas and Judas is betraying him he looks into the eyes of Judas human Jesus to human Judas looks into the eyes of Satan incarnating Judas divine God Almighty to Satan and what Does Jesus say to him? It's my favorite verse in the whole Bible. Matthew 26. He says, "Friend, wherefore art thou come?" Even in that moment, he still wanted a relationship. For the king, for the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. You wanted a relationship. God wanted a relationship with Cain. even he said if you if you do well won't you be accepted and if you don't sin lith at the door both Judas and Cain left the presence of the Lord it's not in the projective but brother Bham said that we can't even sin until first we willingly cast aside God's word what are you preaching tonight David what are you trying to say I'm saying today what about the musicians to come what about the bride of the Lord Jesus Christ today what does Satan and Jesus say to them today. What does what does Satan do? He says, "You're sealed. You're chosen. You're rapture bound. Just relax. You're all good. Don't don't worry about it. You go to church. You uh you say the name of Jesus and you got saved 80 years ago. You're good. No worries. Now live your life however you want. You're good." I say, "If you really believe that, if you really believe that, you're not in a relationship with Jesus. Your relationship you're in a relationship with Satan's lukewarm gospel. We've got what we need. We don't need to grow. Why chase relationship with Jesus when the reward is already ours? Father Brandham said a man running from the presence of the Lord. Could he not have saved himself? Sure he could. But if he did, he would not saved us. He had to face up to the responsibilities and because of his obedience to the word where Adam's disobedience and he took the shortcut, the the way down to Tarsus. But Jesus took the way to Nineveh to the Gentiles to get himself a bride. I'm glad that he did it tonight. We ought to face up to the facts that we belong to him. Take the world away. Amen. So what did Jesus do from the beginning? He couldn't suffer and die for us as the eternal spirit and take his own thing or take his own penalty. So he created himself. It was the beginning of the creation of God both sperm and and egg in the womb of Mary own soul, body and spirit. And it was God himself as a human being. And he suffered and died for us. Not just to redee not just to save us but to redeem us back to himself. He literally knew there'd be a situation where he would have to suffer for his own people. You know why he did it? Because he wants to express his love to you. The relationship that Jesus wants with us, that's the reward. The full relationship, not just the great points, but the hard points, too. All of it. You have a choice today. What What approach will you take? What relationship will you prefer? If I make the relationship all about how I'm right and all about how everyone's wrong and I can't be at peace with [Music] anyone, what's happening? Got to come back to Jesus doesn't just want to save you. He wants to love you. He wants to know you. He didn't just die for your soul. He died for your companionship. He died for you so that he could redeem you so that he could marry you. Don't settle for the idea of him. Don't reduce him to a sermon, a doctrine, or just a song, or just a tradition. He's been standing at the door of your heart this whole time. He never left. Will you answer? Will you choose the person, not just the protection? Will you be his bride? I want to be his bride. Amen. Amen. And he wants so much also to be your groom. He's crazy about you. He loves you so much. He redeemed you. So not just once at an altar, not just once some other day, but every single day, let's prioritize our relationship with him because he literally made himself into a way where he could feel pain and suffer to show us that he wants to dedicate his very life to us and he loves us. We are now in heavenly places. We are now more than conquerors. So the decision is before you and it's before me. Will I prioritize my own comfort in Leodysia? Or will I prioritize Jesus Christ, my husband, my savior, my father, my God? Amen. Let's sing. He was there all the time. A little higher. He was there all the time. He was there all the time, waiting patiently in line. He was there. Oh, all the time. So tonight, he wants a relationship with you. I hope this has reminded you this gospel is not about the rightness of it or all the different things. It's about the very reason for God's creating something was to express his love to us. And he wants a reciprocal loving relationship with you where you can express it back to him cuz he loves [Music] you. Josh, do you want to come up and sing all the other things or whatever? [Music] That's a good man. [Music] and reaches to the lowest hell. [Applause] The guilty [Music] pair bow down with care. God gave his son to him. [Music] There's airing child here at pardon [Music] from his sin. Oh love of God, how rich and [Laughter] pure, how [Music] measureless and strong. It shall forever more endure the saint and jo. Amen. the relationship with Jesus Christ. Really do it. Amen. No law but love, no creed, but following Christ. We don't need rules to keep us close with people that we really love. You just need that love. And that relationship with Jesus is the driving force for everything in our lives. Amen. Praise the Lord. Let's give the Lord a hand tonight. Amen. [Music] Amen. Oh, could we withh the ocean [Music] f and where the skies of parchment made? for every star. [Music] on earth a quill and every man ascribe by train to ride the love of God above. would drain the O.
