He is accused of creating something that never should have existed. A podcast that causes confusion, stirs up drama, and questions that should have never been brought up on social media. He is accused that if the podcast was so good, then why do so many well-known, respected, popular people have so many bad things to say about it? As the judge, I intend to be fair, not led by feelings of popular opinions, or by the loudest voices in the room, but by one standard only, the word of God. As the prosecution, we will prove that while David may have created this podcast with good intentions, he's really just a young man with too many opinions and not enough humility. The podcast should not exist. It causes too much controversy, too much harm. It does not help people. It only divides them. any ministry that causes this much public controversy simply should not exist. And if it was really of God, then why do so many respected, popular people have so many bad things to say about it? The defense will prove that the standards used by people to reject this podcast, if you applied those to any other age, you would also have to reject Jeremiah, Elijah, Micaiah, Amos, John the Baptist, Steven, Paul, and Jesus. Because if the standard is that if it's controversial publicly, then all of these men should be removed from the Bible. And if the argument is that God is different now than he was then or that times are different, then Jesus Christ is not the same yesterday, today, and forever. Make no mistake, while the method of ministry on social media may be new, preaching against sin, religion, gossip, and popularity publicly, and being unpopular for doing so has been happening since God called his first preacher to put sin on trial. This is not about putting a podcast on trial. This is about a ministry. Putting a ministry on trial because of one thing and one thing only. The power of Satan through things like gossip, religion, pride, and we will put those demon spirits on the stand along with Satan himself. There is no standard you can use to to reject this podcast ministry entirely that doesn't also reject ministries and the Bible. So, the question the defense has for the jury tonight is, do you actually know what this podcast ministry is all about, or did you just hear some gossip from some popular people? Before closing statements, we'll call our last witness. Hello, my name is Gossip. And if you don't like David's podcast because of what people have said, and you've never really done your own research, never contacted him privately, and you still feel righteous while doing it, I'm the reason you did that. You thought it was God, but it was me whispering in your ear with the mask of religion. The trial begins tonight, 9:30 p.m. Eastern time.
