It's just hype. It's just good feelings. But you don't learn anything. And you stay convinced that you're fine where you are. There's a mindset out there where encouragement sounds like you're already fine. You already have it all. There's nothing else you need to do. Satan couldn't stop you if he tried. You're in God's hands, so no more growth needed. But if that's all it ever is, that's not truth. It's popularity and encouragement. Not godly encouragement. It keeps people clapping. It keeps you popular, but it doesn't show people they need to grow. It makes them feel like they're good where they are just because they're in a message church. Just because they believe God's in a prophet. On the other side, there's a kind of correction that's just as incomplete. Calling out what's wrong with no path forward, no love, and no way home, no reconciliation. And that's not truth either. That's attention-seeking correction. It has more shock value than repentance value. It's what the Pharisees did to Jesus. All condemnation and no path out of it. Real encouragement doesn't just say you've made it. It says you've made it. Let's go higher. Keep growing. Keep dying daily. Don't just stop it believing the message. Go into adoption. Not just dying once at an altar or at a camp meeting, not just saying you believe God sent a prophet, God's encouragement says you're in the right place. Now let's keep climbing. And real correction, it doesn't just tear down, it rebuilds. It says this isn't who you are. Let's repent. Let's rededicate ourselves to God. Let's get a refilling of the Holy Ghost. Let's get back up. If your encouragement never challenges you, it's worthless. If your correction doesn't lead you to the right way, it's not truth. It's not God's approach. It's just virtue signaling religion. Does your encouragement have more hype and reaction value than it does growth and repentance value? Does it get more people hyped up than it gets more people than it gets people at an altar repenting? If you keep separating correction and encouragement like they're enemies, then I believe you're missing the very heart of God. I don't believe correction and encouragement cancel each other out. I believe they dovetail perfectly in God's word. God doesn't just pat you in the back for believing the message and say, hey, you're good. You're good. No more growth needed. He says, I'm proud of you. Justification, sanctification, baptism of the Holy Ghost. But now let's move into adoption into the perfect incarnate word. Join us tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern time as we look into encouragement versus correction. Or are they the same?
