Who can sing that with feeling? Oh mercy rerote my life. That's right. God's mercy rewrote my life. Oh, I should have fallen. My soul cast down. God mercy reo my [Music] love. Amen. God bless you. You can be seated. I want to sing that song. The big ships don't sail this way anymore. What is that song? Got to sing. God bless you all this morning. Good to be in the house of the Lord. God bless your brother. God bless all those online just want to sing a little song. The gospel means so much to me. I look at great ministers and sometimes I wish I could be more like that. But I'm grateful that God gave me what he gave me. God doesn't make mistakes. If it's God's wish to make me not as good as the best, then I want to proudly be what I what God made me. Amen. And I don't think in God's kingdom there'll be a little little one and a big one. I think there'll be children, children of God. Amen. And I know the world is forgetting the gospel, but the bride of Jesus Christ is taking her stand. She knows that if she stays with this word, she'll walk one day with the king, with the saints of God. Amen. [Music] Oh, there's a lighthouse on the hill that overlooks life. See, when I'm tossed, it sends out a light that I might see. And the light that shines in darkness now will safely lead us all. If it wasn't for the lighthouse, my ship would sail no more. And I thank God for the lighthouse. I owe my life to him. King Jesus is the lighthouse upon the rocks of sin. He has shown a light around me that I I can clearly see. If it wasn't for the lighthouse, tell me where would this ship be? [Music] Oh, everybody that lives around us says, "Oh, tear that old lighthouse down." Cuz you see the big ships don't sail this way anymore. So what's the use of it hanging round? But then my mind goes back to that stormy night when just in time I saw the light. The light from that old lighthouse that stands there on the hill. And I thank God for the lighthouse. I owe my life to him. King Jesus is my lighthouse upon the rocks of sin. He has shown a light around me that I I can clearly see. If it wasn't for the [Music] lighthouse, tell me where would this ship be? Amen. Praise the Lord. Good to be in House of the Lord. Ruth, did you write that song? Not that one. Okay. God bless you all this morning. Thank you musicians. If we can just prepare for the next part of the service. We believe the most important part is not the singing, it's the word of God. Amen. But we do appreciate the singing. Just enjoyed the specials, enjoyed the people coming. And uh God bless to those online again. I'm just a piece of old Wisconsin clay that somehow made my way south. And I believe I'll stay here until the Lord would lead me elsewhere. Do you love him? This this morning as we turn to Isaiah 30 and starting with verse 7, we'll go to the altar of the word first and ask him for help that he would uh anoint this word to our hearts that we could take from the written word and and make it life inside of us. Amen. Blessed Jesus, we bow before you, Lord, because you're our king. You are our savior. You gave us salvation, Lord. And you brought us out of the midst of the darkness, Lord. You were that lighthouse, Lord, when our ship was going to run ground. And Father, you you shed your blood that we might live. And we just love you, oh king of our message, king of the universe. Oh, blessed Jesus, we love you. We need you so much. be with us this morning, Lord. Bring light to this word, to our hearts, Father. May it direct us, edify us, correct us, Lord. May it reveal unto us things, Lord, that we need to to do better in this life. We'll give you the honor and the glory and the praise, Lord God. And we just we just ask that you take care of our prayer needs, Lord. and and you know everyone Lord and and so we ask that you just take care of it Lord as you have Father in the holy name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen. Amen. God bless you. Isaiah 30 and verse 7. God bless brother Mike Reagan this morning out there. And for the Egyptians shall help in vain and to no purpose. Therefore have I cried concerning this. Their strength is to sit still. Now go write it before them in a table and a note it in a book that it may be for the time to come forever and ever. Let me just say this quick. This is the prophet to that age speaking to the people of that age especially God's people. And and uh I think it's just an amazing thing. He loves them. God loves them. But sometimes love is is oddly corrective. Amen. And so we'll just read it. We we don't need to change the Bible. We can just read it because it's the blessed word of God. Amen. Now go write it before them Isaiah in a table and note it in a book that it may be for the time to come forever and ever that this is a rebellious people lying children that will not hear the law of the Lord which say to the seers see not to the prophets prophesy not unto us right things speak unto us smooth things prophesy deceits get you out of the way turn aside out of the path cause the holy Holy one of Israel to cease from before us. Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel because you despise this word. It'd be hard not to despise the word when you're being told stuff like that. Amen. Yeah. But the spirit picks it up in because you despise this word and trust in oppression and perverseness and stay therein. Therefore, this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant. and he shall break it as the breaking of the potter's vessel that is broken in pieces. He shall not spare, so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a shard to take fire from the hearth or to take water with all out of the pit. For thus sayeth the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, in returning and rest shall you be saved. In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength. and you would not. But you said, "No, for we will flee upon horses, therefore you shall flee, and we will ride upon the swift, therefore shall they that pursue you be swift." Sweet Jesus, bless this thy holy word, Lord, for we ask it, Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. God bless. You can be seated this morning. And I'm just going to get right to the word again. Greetings to all and just good to see you. And uh I love this gospel. I just love I love the position that the bride of Jesus Christ has been set in. And as as the world is falling apart, we're actually a standard to the rest of the world. To me, it doesn't matter when fashions change or people's thoughts on the word change or people's thoughts on politics change. I have a book called the Bible. I have a an uncction from the Holy Ghost. I have a spirit in me that took me out of a bar stool and into into a a pulpit. That's quite a change. Amen. So, I'm grateful for that. And and we all come from that in one way or another. Amen. Uh so during this time in Israel, the prophet Isaiah is the prophet to the age. And it's a very serious time because it's a time when things were changing. But not always are changes that are good or bad. Do you see them outwardly, but they're happening even today, this morning, things are changing. People are getting older. It won't be long before somebody's going to have a baby. You know, I got a daughter out in Canada. She's going to have a child. And you know, there there's people change jobs. People get different cars. uh people come to different revelations on the word and things are always happening and here in Israel things were happening with the children children of God and and some of the prayer warriors in that day were noticing that change and they couldn't maybe tell exactly what it was but they began to cry and scream and and investigating angels were sent down by God to observe in the scripture he'll send spies in the natural well he sends investigating angels to see what's going down and they come down from glory and and they began to see a people that were getting cold on God, but you know, they were still going to the temple, still offering sacrifices. The angels began to see a people who were living under a delusion. And what the delusion was was that they could live how they wanted, right? And there would be no consequence. That's a delusion. It's like going down the road in through a school zone at 90 miles an hour believing that nothing will happen to you. Well, it most assuredly will. It won't take long and you'll see those siren lights you'll because it's a delusion to think that you could ride through a skill zone that fast. It's it's just for one, it's just a horrible thing to do. I I didn't want to do it as a sinner. I sure wouldn't want to do it as a saint. And if they did allow it, I still wouldn't do it. Children are not good with traffic. Amen. Right. And but here in the here in the scripture, the prophet Isaiah screams out as God gives him a burden for the truth and he and he's given it to a people that are needing help so badly but not wanting it. And uh Israel was much like Leodysian. Leodysia means people's rights. And and we know the angel to the church of Leodysia uh screamed out to the people that you need help. But they said, "No, we're rich increased with goods. We don't need anything." They needed help here there in Israel. But either they did not realize it or they only wanted help served up a certain way. Amen. Only a certain way. And as if the leaving of the precepts of God and getting cold on God were not enough. As if all that wasn't enough, now they began to look for help, but in the wrong places. Isaiah 31:1, it it says, "Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help and stay on horses and trust in chariots." That's not the help that we're to pray for. Amen. Because there are many in horsemen because they are very strong. But they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord. And we're living in a world today that's looking for help, whether it be dietary or or whatever, political, but as Christians, it's not the cabinet in our bathroom to look for help first. First, we to look help from the Lord. And slowly here in Israel, they're in this condition of wanting help, but they're they're thinking about Egypt. always thinking about Egypt is to look backwards. Always. And slowly the patience of God was being stretched. And because Israel had forgotten or they had decided to ignore the word and the way of the Lord, they weren't fully backsliden. They just were kind of ignoring things and going along because uh great men of God had set it up for them to get their inheritance and they had their boundaries. You can live in a city very weakly if it has a big tall wall. You know, a city with a wall in those days could be defended with 1/4th the amount of people as a city with no wall. So, the efforts of people before them were still keeping them. But God's looking at this and he's he's going beyond concrete walls and he's looking at people's hearts and he's realizing that people were deciding to ignore him. And Israel had already sinned against the Lord by wanting a a king instead of a prophet. That's what the Bible called it. Called it a sin. And now that same spirit, it went from a prophet to a king. And now also along with that spirit, now they want to be like the other nations and the other kingdoms. They wanted to even copy the fashions of the other nations. And this was never God's will. And Israel was was blessed because the prophet Isaiah comes out says, "Don't be that way." And there's so many Isaiah is a very hard book to read. It's hard to understand. But I I did get that. And and that same spirit though had grown. And and let me read a quote now. Israel wanted to impersonate the other people. And that's what the church wants to do. Impersonate. This speaks about today. how the church wants to impersonate become a backsliden condition. And in this condition, what did they do? They got them a king. And they selected this king. They went to find their king. And what did what they found was the biggest handsomest man they could find. Great big 7-footer with big black shaggy hair and dark sparkling eyes that would be attracted to the people. And they thought he'll make a wonderful king. It was their thinking. But as God said to Samuel, "Man lookth on the outward appearance, but God lookketh on the heart." When Israel selected their king, they wanted a great big handsome strong looking fellow with big shoulders, straight standing head and shoulders above all of his army. But when God selected his king for them, little old ruddy sapling looking kind of a fellow look like a little And that was God's pick. What a difference. See the difference in it? That's just the way God does things sometimes. He does it in such ways that's so contrary, so different from what we think. I remember in high school, you know, people kind of teasing uh they had a a word kind of the most popular. Well, they would tease me as the least popular. But you know what? That's how man thinks. But God took the least popular and he said, "I'm going to love him so much that he's going to feel that love and he's going to turn from Egypt towards me." And I'm an example of mercy. Mercy rewrote my life. Did it rewrite yours? Amen. Sure. That's why we love the word because those precepts saved our lives. It changed our direction. Amen. And here we see Israel, the prophet comes, Isaiah, because Israel's needing correction. But what were they wanting instead of the correction? Smooth things. That's what the Bible says. It even says prophesied deceits. And the word deceit means the quality of being fraudulent. Oh, dear God, I pray for the ministries out around this world. I'm not sure what they're preaching. a misleading falsehood. The act of deceiving ministries that just preach all good news. Everybody's going to be in heaven. I'm sorry, but you know, it's hard and I'll never do it directly after someone dies, but everybody says now, now old Joe, he went to heaven. And maybe old Joe was a drunkard, gambler, runar around whormonger. I don't know. Joe's in heaven. But, you know, they can say it and they'll they'll get a priest or a a minister, you know, to go say those kind words. Uh, it's it's deceitful. But thank God Isaiah also adds to all that correction, in returning you shall have rest. And that's the bride's position. And those of us who have stayed with the word and dear God, thank you for helping us to get back up when we fall. But in staying with the word all these years, we can see that, you know, he calls for them to return, but they would not. Israel needed to return to the word just like this nation needs to return to the word. And I'm sorry, but our president won't be enough. What does the Bible say? That's scriptural. It says if Noah and Enoch or I believe it was or it repeats several different great men. If Abraham and Isaiah were in a place they'd only be saved for their righteousness, but it wouldn't be enough. That's right. Return to the way that God brought rest. That's the message. Joshua 14 and 10. Listen to someone who has someone who kept the faith. Someone who didn't change with the times. Someone who when Israel was complaining out in the wilderness, he didn't even look up from his meal. He was eating on the word and he was happy. And now behold, the Lord and here's this day. The Lord kept me alive as he said these 40 and 5 years even since the Lord spake this word unto Moses while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness. And now lo, I am this day four score and five years old. See, the children of Israel were wandering. Caleb and Joshua never wandered. They had a direction. It was the whole thing, looking at the big picture. They in their hearts and minds. And Caleb's looking at this mountain. Every now and then they'd pass close enough where he'd get up maybe on a hill and look and maybe see that mountain range. Yeah, that's mine. As yet, I am strong this day. As I was in the day that Moses sent me and my strength was then even so is my strength now for war both to go out and to come in. That's the question of today. He said I don't care what fashions do. I'm staying. I don't care what people when they think we need a new version of the Bible which really means they're going to quit church. I don't mind a new version if they actually stay in church. I suppose that's okay. But most of uh we need something new. We want deeper teachings. You know what that usually means? Believe church. And Isaiah is looking at the people and they're wanting this and they're wanting that. And he's like, "Are you are you under delusion?" Because he knows because God told him what to say. What condition was one of the only ones who kept the faith strong, fervent, and ready? His name was Caleb. Verse 12. Now therefore, give me this mountain, wherefore the Lord spake in that day, for thou heardest in that day, how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fence. If so be, the Lord will be with me, then I should be able to drive them out as the Lord said, I'll tell you in his heart, he had already been there and defeated them a thousand times. Right? It was him. He was a conqueror. He had the conquering spirit in him. And when Isaiah screamed out, he wasn't actually screaming to people like Caleb or people like Joshua in that day. Amen. And when God screams he's going to burn the earth with a fervent heat in this day, guess who he's not talking to? The bride. You won't be here if you keep the faith. Joshua blessed him and gave unto Caleb the son of Japa. He bron for an inheritance. Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son. See the words coming to pass and to this day because that he wholly followed the Lord God of Israel. Verse 15 very important. And the name of Hebron before was Kith Arba which is Arba was was a great man among the Anakims and the land had rest from war. Amen. Jesus said, "I will give you rest. I'll give you peace." But now, as the world gives peace, the peace that I give you will pass all understanding. That's our position. That's the place I want to be. The position of the bride in the end times. She is a standard that the rest of the world looks to. Dear God, make me a standard bearer of righteousness. That's my prayer. That's my prayer. Dear God, you want rest. You want peace. You want to sleep well. There is an answer. Caleb had rest because he wholly followed the Lord. But her answer in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength. Yeah. I just love it. It's such a small little quote from the prophet Isaiah. Those words encapsulize an entire movement of people within Israel. quiet confidence in the word of God. I'm not shaken when someone says the Bible's not true. I'm not shaken when someone says the message is not true. Of course, all people make mistake. Of course, that but I don't doubt the Bible was written by men inspired by God. A quiet confidence in the ways of the Lord. I like the ways of the Lord. I agree with them. I've been converted to liking them. Amen. Uh there's nothing that can compete with the ways of the Lord. Well, what if you fail them? I still love them. This is what our strength is supposed to look like. The prophet says, "Oh Israel, but you would not." Isaiah 3:15, "For thus sayith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, in returning and rest shall be saved in quietness and confidence shall be your strength, and ye would not." And this morning, if you are following the word fervently with all your heart, just doing the best you can, and you have an understanding of when you fall, how to get back up through the Lord Jesus Christ, call on the Lord. You can you can see that the world has fallen into that just like Israel fell into that. They actually were saying to the to the prophets, don't prophesy anymore. And if you do, prophesy nice things. We see the church as they fill up a stadium because the minister is going to tell them one good thing after another. Well, brother Tom, what's so bad about being told good things? Well, let's go on further. Remember this. What does Egypt type in the Bible? It types the world and it also types sin. Let me read another quote. Israel coming out of Egypt was a type of the antitype today. Egypt was the church and Israel represented the bride. And as Israel come out of Egypt, so does the bride come out of the church. See, because there has to be something there for it to come out of. Remember, they all went out of Egypt into the wilderness, but only a couple of them went of the original went out of the wilderness. See, cuz there's has to be something there for it to come out of, and it's got to come out of. So it was a type the church is down in Egypt in the world and in sin does not care a tinker about your token of the life of Christ. They don't even believe it. But Israel loved it for it's salvation to them. Amen. And so we look again Isaiah 30:7. For the Egyptians shall help in vain. People actually go back to Egypt for help. and and and the prophet Isaiah is going, "No, Israel's not going to help." And the inspiration takes over. The Egyptians shall help in vain to no purpose. Therefore, have I cried concerning this. Egypt's strength is to sit still. We always used to think sin was just drinking, smoking, robbing banks, and gambling or whatever vanity. But we come to learn there's religious sin, too. Yeah, people will sit in a pew over in that wilderness listening to Moses and Joshua for years and years and they're sitting there and doing nothing. Just nothing. But they're there and they began to get such confidence in the ways of the world. What good does it do? Is this is to no purpose. But Israel still would not listen. Can you say amen? Can you see why God says I'm going to divide you from the other peoples? Yeah. And then he referred back to, see, I made darkness and I made light. I made the sea and I made the land. Now I made you and I made those others. And you're different from them. Amen. That's God. Egypt's strength sin is to sit still. Sin will get you nowhere. Oh, it's just something that won't bother anybody. Yeah, it'll bother somebody, Mr. Libertarian. You sin will bother you if it makes you less than what you know you're supposed to be. It's destroying you to be satisfied with mediocrity when God's offering a kingdom. See, the bride steps out in an exodus from the world, her first exodus. Amen. But the rest of them are still dillydallying with sin. You're that's a Wisconsin term, dillydallying. Did any of your mothers say don't be dillydallying? Thank you. Even Texas got it. Because the truth is Romans 6 and23. And a lot of people got this one memorized and they should that the wages are still the same and the wages of sin is still death. But thank God the gift of God through Jesus Christ our Lord is life. If you turn from sin, you can't just say, "Oh yes, we're going to serve God. We're going to as you're walking back to Egypt." Amen. There was no other boats that floated in the days of Noah. I saw a movie they put out called Moses. And here's Noah and his family going down and and along comes a smaller boat selling pots and pans and stuff during the during the flood. Like, get that. I couldn't shut that thing off fast enough. Trash. Delusion. Sure. The wages of sin is death. You know, people may as well just cut that first part out. The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. because that's the only part they're listening to. That's right. Israel did not seem to see the bigger picture. And I'm glad we have the Bible. And if you're a Bible reader, you can begin to learn about God and his ways and what he proves of what he doesn't simply by reading the Bible. I even think an atheist would be very blessed just to read the Bible. Amen. Every time, every single time Israel got away from God, only bad things happened. That's it. Every single time. There's no place in the Bible where someone got away from God and then they won. Always bad happened. Every single time we get away from serving God or began to do something foolish or only brings troubles. Can you say amen? Oh, not me, brother Tom. Ooh, I'm sorry. Find salvation so that you can be included. Cuz if he's not dealing with you like that, that's really bad trouble. That means like I just letting him. Don't think you're getting away with anything. Well, preacher, you have your way to serve God and I have my way to serve God. Let me say a truth. There are not actually a whole bunch of ways to serve God. There's his way and the other way. And some here this morning and online have watched people come into this gospel life and bring in new ways, new thoughts. And today, sister, they're gone. And they went back where? To Egypt. They don't go forward. They go backwards. When you leave the gospel, there is no your way and my way. Either both our ways are wrong or because his way will always be the right way. It's only God's way. Amen. Right. Buddhist a little quiet like I'm almost preaching something that's odd or something that might not be true. Or what are you really saying? Here's what I'm really saying in business. I can have a great business and just ignore advertising. Ignore paperwork. That works. Ignore product quality. I can still have a good business. Can you really? How about parenting? I love my children so much. I don't ever discipline them. I love them so much. I give them everything they want. I'm sure those children will turn out great. See, it actually doesn't work. It never did work. It can't work. Now, there is wrong discipline. I agree. I've been part of wrong. I've made my mistakes. But I also understood that there was no nice way to keep Jimmy or Joshy or Annie off the road. My poor children, they become fine adults. But sometimes there had to be a consequence or I wasn't actually feeling like a good parent. parenting. It has to be done with with with you got to use your brain in it. There is no better way. On my ball team, I never pass the ball and I expect everyone to pass the ball to me. I don't do any conditioning. I come to practices when I want and when I don't want to. Sister Suzanne, I just don't. And we're going to have an undefeated season. Can you think that would work in sports? We can easily see that. Do you think that would work in parenting? No. That's very How about business? I won't even advertise. I'm such a good fella. It's just going to magically happen. Really? How about How about when Israel starts say, you know, we're going to serve the temple or the the tent when we have time. We'll make our offerings of whatever we want or we won't and everything will still be fine. That's called delusion. Yeah, that's what it is. You know, and I know that it can there's there's big meetings going on and they're just filling up the churches. People say, "Well, aren't you aren't you kind of jealous of how many people they can draw?" Only if they're preaching the truth. If they're actually filling up a place because they're they're preaching what Isaiah screamed against, then no, I'm not jealous. I feel sad for them. Delusion psychology. It's an erroneous belief that's held in the face of evidence to the contrary. A mistaken or unfounded opinion or idea. The act of deluding deception by creating elucory ideas. Prophesy unto a smooth things delusion. Prophesy deceits. Isaiah 13:11. Get out of the way. Turn aside out of the path. Cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. I can't do it. Would never do it. Nor will the bride do it. Can you say amen? Because our position is to stay with us. What if you get arrested? Yeah, we might. What if you have to die for your faith? We could. It's happened before. It'll probably happen again. Wherefore, thus sayeth the Holy One in of Israel, because you despise this word and trust in oppression and perverseness instead. Why? Because it's perverse to parent your children without some kind of discipline or direction. That's perverse to try to run your business without advertising or or quality in in the work that that's perversion. It's perversion to want to buy the house first and then get the job. That's a perversion. Amen. It's it's not approved. And and especially the word of God, they say, "Hey, we don't prophesy tough things. You can come, Isaiah, but prophesy." And Isaiah comes, "Thus sayeth the Lord, you're in the hands of God. nothing ever bad will happen to you. That's delusion cuz our Bible says many are the afflictions of the righteous. It says, "Be not surprised at the fiery trial that surrounds you as though some horrible things happen unto you." Can you say amen? So, we know these are the rules. It goes beyond rules. It's like it's like uh you drop something and it'll fall down. Why? Gravity. It's a rule of life. Amen. And believe it or not, gravity can be broken by the will of God. Well, gravity didn't work against Peter when he walked on the water until he doubted and doubt brought him down into the water. Amen. Therefore, this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall whose breaking cometh forth suddenly at an instant. Does anybody know what a a natural breach is? It's in construction when you're building walls against against like a hill. And and so you're building a wall of concrete blocks perhaps maybe 10 ft tall, but it's against a hill. And for whatever reason, sometimes the ground or the clay or the rocks or whatever it is, maybe after a rain, all of a sudden your wall begins to to buckle. It be it begins. It's not straight up and down like you made it. What is that? What's happening is a breach is coming upon that wall. And you might look for several years. Oh, I think it'll be okay. Then the next really good rainstorm, boom, the breach comes on suddenly, smashes the whole thing down. Breach means act in disregard of laws. You're going to get a breach. Rules, contracts, or promises. make an opening or gap in a failure to perform some promise, act or obligation. That's what it means, right? Yeah. An opening, especially a gap in a dyke or fortification. It's an opening in a fortification. It It's an actual opening. You know, in the Civil War, the Southern Army uh looked I I believe it was even near Chattanooga somewhere and and it was a great battle, but the southern general took his took two divisions and he he marched them back and forth along the line and the northern general wasn't quite so understanding of what was going on and he got afraid. So, he took the men out of the middle of that line to go fortify where the southern army was. And that general in the southern army looked, he said, "Did you see what they just did? They just created their own breach in the middle of the line." So he sent the whole army through the middle and they won a great victory. Did you know that? And what caused that breach? Fear, confusion. Getting away from standard operations of military tactics. You never do that. What did God think? of Israel's behavior. And I'm saying this because there's not a revival around the corner. There's a rapture for the bride and for the rest of them, it's the mark of the beast. That's what actually the scripture says. It doesn't say there'll be some big giant revival. There'll be here and there. There'll be a Caleb here, a Joshua there. There'll be a Hannah here, there will be a Mary there. There'll even be a Martha, and there will be an Abraham. But there won't be everybody. Amen. Hardly any of the original ones made it out of the wilderness alive. Israel. Isaiah 31. Woe to the rebellious children, sayeth the Lord. They take counsel but not of me. They want a covering but not of my spirit that they may as Egypt to Egypt or sin to sin. that walked to go down into Egypt and have not asked at my mouth to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh and to trust in the shadow of Egypt. Christians, saints of God this morning, we'll never get no help from the world. The only thing the Bible says what the world will think of you if you go back. What does it say? Anybody know? Come on by. They will despise you. That's what it says. Sure. Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame and trust in the shadow of Egypt unto your confusion. That's why I don't trust the world. I don't trust what the world gives, offers. I've tried every vitamin, both ingested and gummies for the life of me. Uh, my hair is still starting to turn gray. I'm still getting older. I've got I I'm taking more prostrate pills than there are people almost in this church this morning here. And I still got this old prostrate thing. I'm like, what in the world? I'll buy more pills. Isaiah 33 and5. The Lord is exalted for he dwelleth on high. He fills Zion with judgment and righteousness, and wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation. The fear of the Lord is his treasure. There you go. That I am confident of that does work. Isaiah 33:2, "Oh Lord, be gracious unto us. We have waited for thee." Amen. Saints of God, patient ones, we've waited for thee. Be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble. I can say to you, there will be no trouble and you're going to go up on the wings of a puffpuff. No, many are the afflictions and troubles of the righteous. I can promise you that things will wax worse and worse. Can promise you that more evil will come upon this age. You know what Christians need? It's kind of simple. It really starts here. More patience. Psalms 37:9. For evildoers shall be cut off, but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. There's a secret to holding your ground. The battle for the souls of men. Satan versus God. carnality versus spirituality. We do not want carnality in the church. We want spirituality. This is a place to seek God. That's why I don't want any arguments in the church over things that aren't maybe something straight about God. A good argument, okay, debate, I should say, but outside of God, a church should never be the place where you argue finances or business. Never. It's not the place. Nor is driving 90 mph through a school zone the the place. It's not the place where it on a track or in your dream. I'm going to read a whole a whole uh Psalms 123. The entire Psalms. It's just too good to pass up. A song of degrees. Unto thee lift up mine eyes, oh thou that dwellest in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of the servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of the maiden unto the hand of her mistress, so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God. Until that he have mercy upon us. There's your position. I'm waiting. I'm waiting. Have mercy upon us, oh Lord. Have mercy upon us. For we are exceedingly filled with contempt. Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease and with contempt of the proud. The New Testament puts it this way. Uh God will see those that sigh and cry for the abominations in the land. And it's hard not to to see people who are doing it wrong but insisting that everything's right. No wonder why they called Jeremiah the weeping prophet. He just screamed out, "You got to amend your ways." You got to judge righteously. You can't keep going the wrong way and expect something good to happen. Oh Lord. And he screamed and cried. What did he get for that? Oh, everybody loved him. No. In the bottom of a dungeon was soggy water. Amen. I'm almost done here. Musicians, come on up. So much pressure on the wall. I've seen an actual breach, so I know. Starting to buckle outward. Is there hope for Israel or for the church of Jesus Christ? Well, sure there is. Isaiah 40 and 28. Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard that the everlasting God, the Lord, the creator of the ends of the earth, faintth not? Neither is weary. There's no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the mighty strong. He giveth power to guys like me, to the faint, and to them that have no might. He increases strength. Amen. I do feel like Caleb this morning. I'm still strong. Stronger than ever. Ready to defend what I believe. ready to stand whether I have a disappointment or not. I am not one argument away from leaving church. I'm not one disappointment away from leaving the gospel. Here I stand. That's my vision. And without a vision, the people perished. Streets of gold perhaps or little trail where you'll meet the wife. Little trail where you'll meet the kid. One day I'm going to walk down a trail and I'll see young people under a tree perhaps again. This time it won't be in a dream form, sister. This time I'll walk right up to him and I'll say, "Timothy, hello, Daddy." And he'll get up about 6 tot my first son who went by way of the grave. And we will hug. I can still feel his hand on my shoulder from a dream. Oh, can you imagine when I actually do? Like that old song, it's not old, excuse me, that country and western song where a kid says, "Oh my," to the old soldier, "Your wife sure was pretty." He says, "Oh, that's just in black and white. You should have seen it when it was in color. You should have seen it when when you were when it was full of color. Blessed be the name of the Lord." We've got a diet plan that'll turn you into an 18 to 20 year old kid. We've got a a plan of salvation that we follow where you will travel like a thought to those who endure unto the end. Even you shall faint and be weary and young men shall utterly fall. But they that wait upon the Lord, I like that shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be worried. They shall walk and not faint. Oh, I love that. You know, the ministers come in to visit old brother Charles Davis, my first pastor, and he was in a coma in the in in a like a nursing home, right on basic deathbed, and they're talking about him in the past tense. And one of them got to talking and and saying something that wasn't quite true. And Charles Davis come right out of that. He says, "That's not what the prophet of God says, and that's not what Paul the Apostle said. slipped right back into rest. Few days later passed away. Why? Cuz the quickening power was still there. Cuz the truth will always correct the error. Isaiah had to go forth before Israel. Why? Because there was a few Joshua's and a few Calebs that were going to hear what the spirit saying unto the churches. Warning. You can't go against the precepts of God and expect some good thing to happen. No matter how much they advertise socialism, it doesn't work. It never has worked. You know, they say that socialism works if capitalism pays for it. Well, that's a perversion. I want something that works. I found the word of God to work. This will work. Can you say amen? Amen. Who's some of the faithful of the Lord? You know, you say that by faith. You your your mind is saying you failed three million times. Your body's well showing you that you failed, but your heart says that's me. That's me, Lord. I like that. You know how loyal Joab was to David. But when Solomon come, you know, he he couldn't make that. He understood David, but Solomon, it it didn't look good. And so he didn't back up Solomon. And here Joab's day when he's going to be slain comes. What does Joab do? One of my favorite characters in the Bible. He runs to the horns of mercy on the altar. And the young guy come that was sent to to kill Joab, which probably would be very hard. And the young man says, "Come off. Come come come out of the church so so we can kill. I'm not going anywhere." He goes back to Solomon. The young man does. He says, "Uh, King Solomon, he won't leave the horns of the altar." I wonder if Solomon in this mind go, "That's Joab." And kill him on the horns of the altar. And Joab's blood. Oh, dear God. We've even got a better deal than Joab did. We had one goat to Calvary for us. Amen. The king of our movement. That's why it hasn't fallen. See, cuz that's the king. No brazen serpent, no priest, pope, king, prophet, or anybody else is the king. Like brother Ed said, if the Holy Ghost isn't the leader of the church, he said, "That's not good." I said, "Well, we'll both leave if the Holy Ghost won't lead us." That's our leadership. I do hope to meet Isaiah. Let's sing that little song. May we herald the day of his blessed appearance. Do you love him this morning? Sure. Don't worry. Your flesh felt like, "Oh, he's just really getting down on me." Why? Cuz the flesh is born of sin, shaped iniquity, come out of the wound speaking lies. The flesh actually is not saved. Your soul is saved. If your flesh was saved, we wouldn't need a new body. This flesh still is a stinker, but let feed on it with your soul and look towards Calvary cuz he's the king who will give us a new body in a perfect image, one that won't grow old. Do you got the number on that one? How about they that wait upon the Lord? You want to be a part of the faithful? You know, as you sing that song and live that life, I believe Caleb and Josh would just draw a little closer to us or us to them, I should say. And someday we'll meet them. You know what Caleb probably will say? I'm still strong and now I'm 20. And if the Lord would want me to do something, I'll do it even here. Amen. I think of brother Ernie Villanoeva. He said, "I'll never res I'll never retire." He said, "I will die as a Christian and as a minister." And I think one day he just rose again as a Christian and as a minister. Who wants that to be your epitat? Amen. Teach me Lord to wait down on my knees till in your own good time. You answer my please. Teach me not to rely on what others do, but to wait in prayer for an answer from you. And they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as an eagle. Oh, they shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. Teach me Lord. Teach me Lord to wait. Amen. Do you love him this morning? Missing David, but you know he's there in Arkansas and they want him to sing a song and give a little testimony. That's That's how it starts. [Music] Uh, he's the Lord of glory. He's the Lord of glory. Isn't it good to have spring finally here? Are we all done with frost and freezing? I'm all done with the rain. I want to see the growth now. Let's grow in Christ Jesus. [Music] Behold, what manner of man is this who stills the raging sea? He heals the sick, the lame, the halt, and he makes the blind to see. He opens all the prison doors and sets the captives free. Behold, what manner of man is this? What manner of man is he? [Music] He's the Lord of glory. He is my great I am the alpha and omega. The beginning and the end. His name is wonderful. The prince of peace is he. The everlasting father throughout eternity. Bee. Oh, what manner of man is this? Who healed the lame and whole? Who said, "Thy sins be forgiven thee. Now take up thy bed and walk." He stands as the mighty healer now and cries. Look unto me. Behold, what manner of man is this? What manner of man is he? He's the Lord of glory. He is the great I am. The alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. His name is wonderful. The prince of peace is he. The everlasting father throughout eternity. Amen. Wouldn't it be a shame to have heard the word and not take note and say, you know, that's the truth. Dear Lord, help me to believe the word. Help me to be ready for your coming. Dear Lord, help me in my weaknesses. Turn them into strengths. Dear Lord, I've both been corrected and edified. Dear Lord, I turn away from Egypt. Help me to do that. Lord, put wind under the wings that I might fly on into glory. That's all I can pray every day. At the end of it, I say, Lord, I plead the blood that was shed at Calvary. What more can you do? Guess what? That's a lot to actually place your faith in the sacrifice of Calvary. Oh, no wonder we sing they that wait upon the Lord. I just love him so much. Died for my sins, beaten cruy. Even on the cross, he's ministering unto somebody to save him. The Bible says even while he's dead, what did he do? He went to preach to the souls in prison. He goes down into hell. Rips those keys right out of the devil's hands. He says, "I've overcome death, hell, and the grave. Come back up." sits in the tomb for a little while waiting on the angels to roll the big stone, you know, make the Roman soldiers sleep. He walks out the conqueror. He's not even done yet. He's so happy he has to just stick around and talk to Mary, rebuke Thomas, and then bless him. Sits back. He says, "Go to Jerusalem. I'm going to get another surprise.
