Because of what the Lord has done for us give thank. Amen. Unless we remember in the Middle East tonight, the one side doesn't want to agree to a peace treaty and holding hostages and his Israeli army is attacking again. I just think about the innocent people dying because of leadership and it leadership is bent on destroying Israel, killing people and just it's really too bad. Amen. But this would be a sign that that people need the Lord. Amen. Let's sing that little song to lily of the valley. I wish Abraham were alive and he could straighten out Ishmamail and his children again. Oh, I found a friend in Jesus. He's everything to me. He's the fairest of 10,000 to my soul. the lily of the valley. In him alone I see all I need to cleanse and make me fully whole. In sorrow he's my comfort. In trouble he's my stay. He tells me every care on him to roll. Hallelujah. He's the lily of the valley, the bright and morning star. He's the fairest of 10,000 to my soul. He all my grief has taken and all my sorrows born. in temptation. He's my strong and mighty tower. I have all for him forsaken and all my idols torn from my heart. And now he keeps me by his power. Though all the world forsake me and Satan tempts me soar, through Jesus I shall safely reach the goal. Oh hallelujah. He's the lily of the valley, the bright and morning star. He's the fairest of 10,000 to my soul. Oh, this is the best part. He will never never leave me nor yet forsake me here while I live by faith and do his blessed will. A wall of fire about me. I've nothing now to fear. with his manhe my hungry soul shall fill. Then sweeping up to glory we'll see his blessed face where rivers of delight shall ever roll. Hallelujah. He's the lily of the valley, the bright and morning star. He's the fairest of 10,000 to my soul. Amen. Praise the Lord. Still happy about Sister Jackie Redden. Clear of cancer. Happy that we're here [Music] tonight. Let's key of G. He set me free. Who's free? Prophet of God says you can just get so into Jesus that God starts to empower you with his presence. And I've been going through that lately. I'm just feeling so good. Not because I'm so good, but because he's so full of grace. And I feel that power surging through me. And I'm praying for tonight's service that it would flow through David and flow through us. Amen. That's what we want. A combined effort to defeat who? That old devil. The instigator of all of our troubles. And boy, he likes to incarcerate people. He likes to put them in jail, doesn't he? Once like a burden prison, I dwelt. No freedom from my sorrow I felt. Oh, then Jesus came and listened to me. And glory to God. He set me free. He set me free. Yes, he set me free. He broke the bonds of prison for me. I'm glory bound. My Jesus to see for glory to God. He set me free. Now I am climbing higher each day. Darkness of night has drifted away. are planted on higher ground. And glory to God, I'm homeward bound. He set me free. Yes, he set me free. He broke the bonds of prison for me. I'm glory bound my Jesus to see for glory to God he set me free. Amen. There's a big old sheep and he got to wanting those real tender little plants that are only found in the shade out there in Israel area. But unfortunately, what makes shade is bushes. And some of those bushes are called thorn bushes. And that old sheep, he got to wander way away from the field and nobody sheared him. But he was pretty comfortable, all insulated from the heat by all that shaggy hair. And you know, he got to feeding on all that wonderful stuff. And pretty soon those bramble bushes caught him. And so he struggled and struggled and struggled and pretty soon he was completely completely caught. and his next step would be to die. And so he started bleeding and bleeding and bleeding and nothing happened. And it took a day and a half and along comes to the great shepherd. That shepherd found him and the only way to do is what? To cut him out of it. Cut him out of those thorns and all that bramble. Take him home. And guess what else he had to have done? He had to be shoring from top to bottom because all of that was sticking too much on everything he touched. Amen. And sometimes God has to take us and he finds us in the bramble bushes all caught up in ourselves. Too much of us. And he took a little bit of that sheep and took that away and and all that wool could be used for something good. And uh that little sheep maybe it learned. I don't know if it stays close to the shepherd. It'll be okay. Amen. And that's what I want to do. And let's sing that song. Fill my cup Lord. key of [Music] G. Like the woman at the well, I was seeking for things that could satisfy. But then I heard my savior speaking. Draw from my well that never shall run dry. Fill my cup, Lord. [Music] unlifted up. Lord, come and quench this thirsting of my soul. Bread of heaven, feed me till I want no more. Here's my cup. Fill it up and make me whole. Fill my cup, Lord. I lift it up. Lord, come and quench this thirsting of my soul. Bread of heaven, feed me till I want no more. Here's my cup. Fill it up and make me whole. Amen. One prayer request. Please pray for me. I'm traveling to see my family tomorrow, sister Suzanne. So, let's remember her and Lord willing, no working out there and up on ladders and just a good old plain oldfashioned visit. We want and return to us. If anybody else has a prayer request tonight, just raise your hand. I think brother Virgil somebody does any know the last name passed away this last night. order. No, from brother Kinszer's church, old brother Virgil, but the Lord knows. Amen. And let's re be remembering our church here and let's be remembering um Jenny's parents had a great visit with them. Still enjoying that. And brother Brian Crow did an exceptional job Sunday. Just tremendous. And let's be praying for the next uh special services. It'll be at brother Tony Yuboas in Atlanta. Then after that, perhaps us or at brother Homer's and so we'll start to plan for that. Plus, spring is coming and uh I pray that all be well. Maybe we're going to plant something wonderful. Let's plant something that's going to grow and bloom and blossom. Wouldn't that look good around the church? Let's plant something right here in the field, right in here that's going to uh maybe have a great fragrance that the Lord will like. Amen. That's what we can do through prayer. But let's just pray over that and pray over our offering. Uh Josh, you want to come up and heavenly father, we love you. We pray Lord you please bless this offering Lord and please be with each of these prayer requests Lord and Father we pray you bless the coming special meetings and we thank you Lord for the opportunity in Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen. Kia F. We have come into his house. What have we come into his house for? To magnify his name and worship him. We have come into his house to magnify his name and worship him. Amen. To magnify and worship Christ the Lord. So let's do that tonight. Lift up your hearts. If you have questions, give it to the Lord Jesus. If you have troubles, uh, Brother Bob and Sister Teresa have just a little puppy that's was just diagnosed with parvo this yesterday. Let's remember a little puppy. Does a puppy matter to God? It sure does. Let's just pray. And you know, one of the secrets to keeping it alive, you have to keep it hydrated. And oh, we need the washing of the water, the word to keep us away from spiritual parvo, too. Well, let's be remembering a little dog. They just I used to think you could never like an animal. I was wrong. They're just man's best friend for sure. We have come into his house to magnify his name and worship him. We have come into his house to magnify his name and worship him. We have come into his house to magnify his name and worship Christ the Lord. Let us worship him Jesus Christ the Lord. How do you do that? So forget about yourself. Concentrate on him and worship him. So forget about yourself. Concentrate on him and worship him. Don't forget about yourself. Concentrate on him and worship Christ the Lord. Worship him Jesus Christ the Lord. [Music] Let us lift up holy hands, magnify his name and worship him. Let us lift up holy hands, magnify his name and worship him. Let us lift up holy hands to magnify his name and worship Christ the Lord. Worship him Jesus Christ the Lord. [Laughter] [Music] Oh, great is the Lord and greatly to be praised in the city of our God. In the mountain of his holiness, beautiful for situation. The joy of the whole earth is Mount Zion on the sides of the north. The city of the great king is Mount Zion on the sides of the north. The city of the great king. Oh, great is our Lord and greatly to be praised in the city of our God. In the mountain of his holiness, beautiful for situation. The joy of the whole earth is Mount Zion on the sides of the north. The city of the great king. His mount Zion on the sides of the north. The city of the great king. I still remember when we left Pentecost. Said, "Oh, you're through now. You're going to be back in the world within weeks. Oh, great is the Lord." Not so. greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness, beautiful for situation. The joy of the whole earth is Mount Zion on the sides of the north. The city of the great king. Boom boom is Mount Zion on the sides of the north. The city of the great king. Amen. Years later, we bought their Bibles at rumage sales for0 50 cents each. Amen. God will not be mocked. God knows those that are his. Yes, we might have looked unworthy. We were. We might have looked unlikely. I guess that's true. But we were God's children and God was going to see us fed spiritually, God was going to see us through to the next step. Amen. And uh a great transformation has taken place in our lives. And by the grace of God, it left it brought us here. Before we were here, we were moving from place to place. The young ones don't know much about it, but we had moved 10, 12, 11 bunch of times. But when we got here, we took our stand for Jesus Christ and this message. And God has been so good. And not only that, but the people have been so good to us. And in hard times, sure, and good times, many. I wouldn't trade it for anything. The only thing I would trade is some of my major mistakes. I'd like to have just skipped them. But, you know, it has made me a bit better of a person. And that's what we want to do with our mistakes. learn from them, become a better person because of them. Amen. And there's a process. And that process is he's becoming me that I might become him by grace. K E the small B I guess a E flat. Oh, he became me so that I might become him by grace. This is what he's doing for us now. Oh, he became me so that I might become him by grace. For ye, he took my place so that I through his love could take him. He became me so that I might become him by grace. I still remember one time back in 1971, I believe it was, sitting on little St. Anony's school, little Catholic school, and we were singing songs, getting ready for the mass, and oh, one of them songs was just so sweet. And I remember feeling that precious presence. And I wondered at that age, that young age, will this be something like it's like heaven's like? And I I thank God it was. years later hearing some of the same songs and some of that special feeling. Do you love the Lord? Find a favorite song in the Lord that draws you closer. I've been asking the young ones on the way to church, play me something wonderful and precious and special and we're playing songs about the Lord and just amazed at the move of God in my children's life. What they would pick out and proud of that and happy about that. I guess it's uh about time for the word tonight. Now, to get the most out of a service, don't be biased positively or negatively. Just be neutral. Be neutral. Have all your sins and all your troubles given over to the Lord Jesus Christ, the king of the message. All at his feet and say, "Lord, do with me what you would, Lord. Protect your servant David. Help him to preach solidly. Lord, take a hold of him. Oh God, may the healing presence of the spirit of God come into our sanctuary and nowadays online. Never knew, Sister Fay, Brother Jimmy, that our church services would reach the Philippines. Never knew I'd get notes from Uganda saying, "What a great service or from Canada or from even Oklahoma." But I'm glad to be a Christian tonight. Aren't you? Amen. Let's all stand. [Music] And let's [Music] uh let's sing that song. Are you washed in the blood? Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power? Are you washed in the blood of the lamb? Are you fully trusting in his grace this hour? Are you washed in the blood of the lamb? Oh, are you washed? In the blood, in the soul cleansing blood of the lamb. Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow? Are you washed in the blood of the lamb? Are you walking daily by the Savior's side? Are you washed in the blood of the lamb? Do you rest in each moment in the crucified? Are you washed in the blood of lambs? Are you washed in the blood? In the soul cleansing blood of the lamb? Are your garments spotless? Are they white and snowed in the blood of the lamb? When the bridegroom cometh, will your rose be washed in the blood of the lamb? Will your soul be ready for the man? Are you ready of the lamb? Are you on? In the blood, in the soul, cleansing blood of the lamb. Are your garments spotless? Are they white? As are you washed in the blood of the [Music] lamb. And well, God bless you everyone. It's good to be with you all. It's an honor and a privilege to be with you. And God bless you everyone online too. Let's continue remembering praying for brother Bob and sister Teresa's little dog they just got Poco the vets say there is no cure for parvo but we know of the Lord Jesus and they say there's no cure for cancer and a bunch of other stuff either but God already had a cure at Calvary Forest. Amen. And with real Christian camp lose either you stay here and live or you die and you go to a better place anyway. Either way, brother Bob and sister Teresa, you won't eternally be separated from your dog. You'll still see him again. Or you'll see him for the rest of his life here regardless of what it is. And you say, "Oh, that's just a dog." But it does mean a lot. I have a dog I got when I was younger and it's named Emma. Whenever she goes, that'll be really sad. But brother Bam did talk about when he got into heaven, how his dog came to him, came to him and said hello and all that and just, you know, nick his horse came and nickered at his shoulder. So, we have a promise of a place to go and we want to approach God the best way that we can. I have a quote to read. I just sometimes I like to grab a random sermon book off the shelf and just skip to a random spot. And uh thank you musicians. And I found this in the it's not in the projector. When their eyes were opened, they knew him. Brother Bram said, "He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He changes not. He is God. his systems of doing things shows himself mighty with his word to manifest it. He don't have to tell you all about it. You don't have to figure it out. You can't figure out God. You got to accept it. Just invite him in and see what happens. So, we just want to invite him in and see what happens. Amen. Amen. Um, we'll be returning our Bibles to 2 Corinthians chapter 10 and:e 3, reading to verse 5. Just say amen when you're there. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exaltth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Let's bow our heads and pray. The gracious Lord, we come to you in the name of the Lord Jesus. Ask just once more, Lord, that you'd come down in a special way. Lead me in the way you want me to go. I give my voice to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. May you use me in the way you want me to and have us to listen both the speaker and the audience alike surrender to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Amen. You can be seated. So tonight the title is undefeated battleground part two. And just as God gave man five outer senses, those are t, see, taste, feel, smell, and hear, we believe that God also gave man five inner senses, and those are imaginations, conscience, memory, reasons, and affections. But the Brandon said in the greatest battle ever fought, he says, now if you'll sit down when you get home and draw three little rings, you'll find out that the outside body has five senses. It's contacted by and that is see, taste, feel, smell, hear. That's the five senses that control the human body. Inside of the body is a soul and the soul is controlled by imaginations, conscience, memory, reasons, and affections. That's the thing that controls the soul. But the spirit, it only has one sense. The spirit, oh, let's get it. The spirit has one sense and that sense is either dominates it is faith or doubt. That that's exactly and there's only one avenue to it is free moral agency. You can either doubt or you can accept faith. Either one you want to work on. Therefore, Satan, Satan began at the principal part to cause the spirit of man to doubt God's word. And God began at the principal part to lay his word in that spirit. There you are. That's what does it. And later on to quote number 107, he said it's got if you've got your senses, see, taste, feel, smell, and hear. I'd encourage you to listen to the greatest battle ever fought. He said, "If we're just laying a foundation tonight, if you've got your senses, see, taste, feel, smell, and hear, they're all right. But don't trust them unless they agree with the word." That's right. Amen. They're all right. But if they disagree with the word, don't you listen to them. Now, imaginations, conscience, memories, reasons, and affections, they're all right if they agree with the word. But if your affection doesn't agree with the word, get rid of it. You'd blow a flu right quick. See, if your reason disagrees with the word, get away from it. That's right. The engine. If your memory, if your imaginations, if your conscience, anything disagrees with that on the inside, get rid of it. I love this. There's your battleground. Your battleground is back here at the beginning, back here in the soul, back in your mind that opens. The the mind is the gate to the soul, the gate to the spirit, rather. Your mind opens up and accepts the spirit or it rejects the spirit. You can have little conscious consciousnesses and little feelings and little sensation all these things that has nothing to do with it. This word that I'm going to preach tonight is the truth and I don't have to worry about whether or not it'll be received because it's the truth. I speak the truth and the word of God is quick and sharper than a two-edged sword and it's between you and God and me and God if I accept it. But I'm just here to deliver the word of God the best way that I can. Um, so he says, "Your mind o" So scroll up again, Thomas, let's read that part again. The mind is the gate to the soul, the gate to the spirit rather. Your mind opens up and accepts the spirit or it rejects the spirit. Now you can have little consciousnesses and little feelings and little sensation, all these things that has nothing to do with it. That's just little sensations and things. But when it comes to reality, to reality, your mind opens it up. Your mind either accepts it or rejects it. That's it, friends. God, let none of them miss it. See, it's your mind that opens up the door or closes the door and listens to your conscience, listens to your memory, listens to your affections. Because I don't believe that our inner senses are wrong. I I don't believe that they are. I believe that they were given to us by God for a purpose. Sure, they're wrong though if they contradict God's word. And these things that I'm going to introduce, the inner gates can operate on one of two wavelengths. It can be on faith or it can be on doubt. But it can't be on both. Remember, brother Bam said faith is the victory for the believer, even as a of a mustard seed. And I would say that doubt is the victory for Satan. I would believe that Satan would say even if you can if I can get you to doubt it, even as of a mustard seed, that's where he gets the victory. His goal has never been to get us to, man, it's different without the translator. His goal has never been to get us to just flat out disbelief, but rather to consider that maybe it's wrong. Um, but when you're, see, it's your mind that opens up the door or closes the door and listens to your conscience, listens to your memory, your affections, but when your mind closes itself to these things and let God, the spirit of his word come in, it blows the rest of the stuff out. Every remember you say oh well you're saying that all these consciousnesses and everything is is wrong like no we're talking about spiritual things when your mind closes itself to these things and let God the spirit of his word come in. We're not saying these things are wrong but I'm saying that to start out the first thing we consider shouldn't be our memories or our imaginations or our feelings but it should be God's word. Is that all right tonight? But when your mind closes itself to these things and let God, the spirit of his word, come in, it blows the rest of the stuff out. Every doubt is gone, every fear is gone, every sensation of doubt is gone, every feeling is gone. There's nothing standing there but the word of God, and Satan cannot battle against that. No sir, he cannot battle against it. Now, we know that's true. Now, to paragraph 119, laying a foundation tonight, I just love it when brother Brandon lays a great foundation for what the thought is. Amen. Yeah, but give God's word first the first place. Now, that's hard for us to do because naturally at first we feel our feelings in any given situation. That's that's natural. That's that's normal. But I'd say we can give God first place in our life. Amen. Come on. He can't sin when you give God first. Hallelujah. Here it is. This is coming fresh. A man cannot sin until first he casts aside God's word. Yeah. We have this word of God. I don't want to throw the word of God around, so I'll just grab this this I'll grab a tissue. We have the word of God, right? You can't sin until first you consider what am I going to do? And then you're looking to your reasoning, your affections, your whatever else. But you can't sin until you first throw away God's word. Yep. Until you throw it away, you can't sin. He says, even this is coming fresh. That's pretty neat for the prophet of God to say that. Amen. He says, "A man cannot sin until first he casts aside God's word. He can't even sin, d disbelieve until first he gets rid of the word of God, the presence of God. He cannot sin. I've had times in my life where I try to do what's right. So I'll play brother B in my room and then if I have to do what's wrong, you notice what you have to do what's wrong. You got to either turn it off, turn it down, or ignore it. But first, you got to you can't do both. You got to cast it aside at some point. Yeah. He can't even sin. That's disbelief. Until first he gets rid of the word of God, the presence of God, he cannot sin. Eve could not sin until she laid aside God's word. Opening up. And how do you lay aside God's word? You open up your channel of reasons through her soul and begin to reason. Why? Certainly. My husband has never told me these things, but I believe that he told me I shouldn't do this. But you know, you make it so real. The serpent, you make it so plain. You make it so intellectually [Music] stimulating. He told me I shouldn't do this. But you, you know, you make it so real and so plain. I I believe it would be wonderful because you're making it so plain to me. See, there was the first battle. And through that battle has caused every other war and every bloodshed that ever come was caused right there at Eden. She disbelieved God's word. She didn't outright disbelieve it. No, she considered another thought. Considering anything else other than God's original word is sin. Amen. And if one little iota of God's word was disbelieved cause all this trouble, how are we going to get back disbelieving the word? You can't do it. Got to shut off all these other things, conscience, memories and say reasonings and all these other things. Casting down reasonings. Like we said in the uh in the text, we don't reason about it at all. Nothing at all. We just accept the word upon the ba upon the basis education. I figured it out. I googled it. But we accept the word upon the basis. God said so. Amen. God said so and sets a stream between you and God. Every channel opens up open between you and God. Then now to paragraph 129. You just bypass them. Then if Satan can get through there, get by these conscience and all these other things, how does Satan come in? He gets right down here to the end of the soul and the mind. Now, if he can just get you, you'll never you'll never look at one of them until first you'll never look at one of them until first you have to let him in here. You have to let him in. Then when he gets in, he gets he's got control. Then what does he do? He begins to use the conscience. He begins to use this begins to use this outlet. What is it? See, taste, feel some here. Imaginations, conscience, memory, reasons, affections. He begins to use all those different little channels. As long as he could get in above this one here, he's got to come in your mind first. And you have to accept it. What are you accepting? A reason not to accept it. Or not even a reason not to accept it, but a reason to consider. God's word is not made to be. Is it true? Is it not? Everything else is. But when it comes to what God says, that's it. And that's all. And there is no reasoning. He's got to come in your mind first. And you have to accept it. Listen, it can batter against you, but it can't get to you until you accept it. And what are you accepting? It's that even iota of reasoning. When Satan walked up to Eve and said, you know, the fruit is pleasant. She stopped for a moment. That's when she made a mistake. Right? That was the sin. Why? Because doubt is the victory for the devil. Yes. And doubt just looks like a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a second of considering that maybe what you believe isn't true. She stopped for a moment. Who you talking I'm talking about saying that this is just about the word of God, this Bible that we believe. Oh, that's when she made a mistake. When she stopped for a moment. Too many times the world wants to say, "Oh, this person isn't right. This person isn't right." I don't care what's the content and is the content of what someone this world is enamored and obsessed with. Like someone told me recently, oh well, you shouldn't be doing this certain certain thing, David. And I said, okay, well, could you point to any certain thing I've ever said and it doesn't line up with the word of God. Well, well, well, no, but you shouldn't be doing it. I'm like, well, why don't we stop trying to shut each other up and just focus on the content of what we're saying, right? If it's true, then let it be true and go forward. But don't stop for nothing. You've got the message. Jesus lives. God is a healer. That's the message. Don't stop for nothing. No reasonings, no nothing else. But she stopped for a moment. We're almost to the to the sermon here. She stopped for a moment. That's when Satan walked right into that mind. Said, "Well, it sounds reasonable." Oh, don't do that. Just take what God said. Amen. Paragraph 145. The brains of the army lays in its captains, the intelligence. Raml and Germany was the brains of Germany, not Hitler. Raml, that's right, Eisenhower, military men, Patton, those men were who were at the front. It depend on which way they gave the order. You follow your captain. If he's a right kind of a general, if he's a right kind, if he's a four-star general, if he's proved, if he's been proven to be right, follow him. Though it may seem wrong to you, go onto the front. Do as he told you. Hallelujah. We got a fivestar general spell. Jesus play placing five stars on us. F A I T H. He's never lost a battle. Do you know why Jesus has never lost a battle? I part of it is because he doesn't have the ability to lose. But you do you know why? You know why he told us you can be just like me, my people, you know, if you um greater works than these shall you do. Why? Because Jesus only fights on battlegrounds, you'll only win in Yeah. Jesus didn't come down and live a sinful life on at all. He lived down. He came down and he only won because he only lived a perfect life. Amen. He didn't fight Satan with just the the uh the you know, I'll snap my fingers and make you cease to exist. He said the word says yes. He fought it in a way that we can. There's nothing that Jesus did that we can't do. Amen. We're join ears, right? Amen. It's I was just I was in the office and I started crying because I realized no this Jesus that we preach about, he isn't just in a Bible or in a cool show called The Chosen or in some tapes from the 50s and the 60s and the 40s. He's here right now and it doesn't matter how I feel. This is the truth of the hour. He's never lost a battle and is always Satan was just say, "Oh, that's cuz God is invincible and you will never you will lose battles though." Well, you do. Why? because you fight it the way Satan wants you to. Right? It's one of my favorite little programs where there were some samurai fighting against some men with guns and one of the main samurai said, "Hey, in order to win, we need to fight in this certain way to take away the advantage of their guns." They specifically fought in a way to take away the advantage of their enemy. How can we expect to win this fight against the devil when we fight in his playground? Oh, if I just scroll through social media enough, I'll feel better. Oh, if I just if I just study the bad websites enough, I'll feel better. Oh, if I just listen to the skeptics enough, I'll feel better. It it won't help. I don't study the Satanist Bible to figure out whether or not I believe them the word of God, right? I don't study the foundation of this church to figure out whether or not it'll actually hold me. It's never faltered once for me. Why would I doubt it? But Satan got Eve to think, "Oh, well, maybe I could consider something different and new." Why would you buy a new phone if the one you're working is fine? Because you want to look at something new. Why would Eve want to switch? Because it was something neat. It was something new. Right. Come on. I'm not talking about partially good battleground or okay battleground, but undefeated battleground. Meaning you never lose. Yeah. He's never lost a battle. Hallelujah. He conquered death, hell, and the grave. Get the devils out of the way. He's the great chief captain. So the devil isn't even in the picture. God is calling every seed of Abraham this morning, this evening to that same kind of a life. Great battle is on now worldwide. God wants his children separating themsel from what? What does he want you to separate from? See, taste, feel, smell, hear, imaginations, conscience, memories, reason, affections, everything. Open up their mind and let the word come in and march with the word. That's a real soldier. So we just want to take what God said tonight and those things. He's not saying that in order to be a Christian you need to stop imagining things or stop having a conscience but rather to have faith be the first thing. So we'll go through the inner gates the mind and heart and we'll start with conscience. The definition of conscience. Is this all right tonight? The inner sense of what is right or wrong in one's conduct or motives impelling one toward right action. Yeah. A lot of that is subjective because you can try to figure out what is right, what is wrong. But let's just look at Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. When you hear the music, like the king said, you are to fall down and worship. And their conscience said, "Well, you should just do what the king says because if you don't, he's going to throw you into a furnace and you're going to die." That's what their conscience initially told them. But they said, "We are not even afraid to defy you, king. We're not going to kneel for no idol." Right? We only worship God. Their conscience said, "You're nuts." But they they took their conscience, but their conscience was initially going to they were going to approach the way with their conscience. Not through doubt in God's word, but faith in it. God will keep us safe. Right? Satan's weapon is what? Getting you to doubt your weapon. As soon as he gets you to doubt it and think, "Well, you know, yes, God said he'd take care of me and I'd be okay." But also the circumstances are right and maybe like maybe God means it in a different way or he gets you to consider it. That's Satan's victory. It isn't for you to say that you don't believe God's word. It's to say that you're questioning it. Right? Is that is that the truth tonight? What about Daniel in the lion's den? His conscience said, "Are you nuts? you could go to the lion's den if you're going to offer a prayer again. But his conscience was was pointed towards faith. I'm going to pray anyway. I don't care what people say. I don't care if they throw me in lion's den. If God would let me die, then I'll just go into heaven, but I know God will protect me. So, he ignored what his conscience told him for faith. And he replaced his flesh's conscience for God's conscience, which is what's right is to do God's word regardless of the circumstance. Amen. Now the negative of conscience that can be done is David, King David. He saw Bath Sheba and his conscience told him, "Don't do it. Don't do it. Don't do it." But his conscience also told him, "I'm the king. Can do whatever I want." Yeah. They can't possibly stop me. What are they going to tell me? Oh, you're the king. You can't be with someone's wife. All the women are mine. I'm the king. Technically, he was right. He's like, "Oh, well, I won't do I'll just have him killed. I'll even do it in battle. So technically it's okay. That was his conscience being used against him. But then he let his conscience go forward more though and said I have sinned against the Lord. Right. Satan wants to use our conscience against us. God wants us to use it for him. He wants to replace our worldly conscience with his conscience. Yeah. That's good. Amen. Because the world wants us to generate or to I believe either I forgot which preacher said it from the 1600s I believe it was. He said I don't fear people not believing in God's word but I fear a alternate form of religion presented by the devil that's so close to the original you can't even hardly tell the difference. Yeah. You want to turn the the word of God into a motivational speech. It's not. Sometimes it's very encouraging. Sometimes it's very corrective. It's almost as if it's a complete meal. God's word isn't just chocolate cake and ice cream. And it's not just filet minan. It's a complete balanced diet. It's imagination. The faculty or action of forming new ideas or images or concepts of external objects not present to the senses. This is a big one. Yeah. Imaginations. Like conscience is one thing. We barely even use that word in everyday life. But imagination like there's famous Beatles songs which were brother Bremer called Sons of Kane. Imagine or I can only imagine use for right or wrong, but imaginations can really get you all over the place. Yeah, they really can. You can imagine a lot of stuff. You can be driving and imagine what if this semi decides to hit me. What if Dominique doesn't like me? What if Sister Fay moving over like this is because she doesn't like me? What if? But it's my imagination. God gave me my imagination. But that's not filtered through faith. That's filtered through doubt, right? Satan's gospel is doubt. Satan's gospel is not to flat out disbelieve God's word. Hear me now. It's not to flat out disbelieve it. It's to question it. Doubt is the victory for the devil. It's like, "Oh, but if I just I don't know about this Jesus thing." Like, yeah, he healed the sick, let him in the hall, but he also let a lady use 60 grand worth of spikenard on his feet. That doesn't make any sense. He uh healed on him the Sabbath. He used mud for someone's eyes to heal them. Like I it's it's neat and I get it, but like it's just really weird. Like I just use the tonality of like trying to be reasonable. I need some more water, please. Because I almost sound re I almost sounded reasonable, didn't I? In my reasonings. Come on. But you know what? In my imagination, I am reasonable. It made no sense with the spikenard and the healing on the Sabbath and and the and the washing of people's feet and the way that he treated the uh the harlots and everybody else. It didn't make sense. Yeah. But he was the one that could put coins in fish's mouths. Yeah. He was the one that could make gold that appear out of nowhere. He was the one that took two fishes and five loaves or five fishes and two loaves, whichever gospel you like better. Whatever. It doesn't matter. That's a contradiction. No, it's not. and he could turn it into baskets and baskets full of ba of of food overflowing for 5,000 people. God doesn't imagine that. He just he just doesn't. Oh my god. But imagination could be such a a big one. It could be so so difficult for against us because you can imagine so many things and make them make sense. But you can also use it for the things of God. Yes. There was even a worldly therapist say if you're willing to consider worst case scenario in your life it's only fair that you also consider best case scenario. Abraham was called by God to leave his homeland. Imagine and he imagined a future where he would be the father of a great nation. But the imagination was not based on him coming up with an idea. It was him imagining God's word coming to pass which is a certainty. Even though he had no children, he was very old and his natural circumstances contradicted his imagining of what God said coming to pass. But God said, "So these gates aren't wrong. They're wrong when faith isn't the first thing considered when paired with them, when making a decision. We're always making decisions. We're always thinking of things." Imagination is a good thing. Brother Brandham said, "The greatest battle ever fought." He said, "These are ministering spirits sent forth from the presence of God to be ministers. To minister what?" His word. Not some theology, but God's word. They're ministering spirits sent forth from God to minister. They're ministering spirits. Oh, and remember, if it ministers something besides the word, it didn't come from God. Amen. This message isn't to bring me away from someone. It's to bring me to Jesus Christ. Amen. Recently told someone, you're like, "Oh, don't you want to talk about this on your podcast?" No, I don't. Because my message isn't to try to bring me away from someone, but to bring me more to Jesus Christ. Yeah. Jesus was supposed to save my soul, and he did. So, I don't doubt him. But the brother was called to bring my heart back to him. And he did. So I don't doubt him. I don't care. He did his job. It's complete. My mind, my heart is back to Jesus Christ. Amen. Good. Remember, if it ministers something besides the word, it didn't come from God. That's why I don't listen to all the motivational speaking. I don't need it. I've got the word of God. Not against it. I think it's neat. But I've never heard motivational speaking tell me get to Jesus Christ. The greatest thing you can do with your life is run to Jesus. It's always no. You know, the highest order of living can actually be outside of Jesus Christ. Come on. And it's an alternate gospel to God's gospel which the highest form of living is a personal relationship with this person, the Lord Jesus. It didn't come from because thy word is always confirmed in heaven. Always in heaven. The word God watches over and he'll never send a spirit to minister something besides the word. What's up, buddy? You just stay away from me. I'll stay away from you. The bug. Remember, brother Bam had a deal with the uh with the hornets in his backyard. We'll make a deal with them. How about that? Is this all right tonight? God bless you. He'll never send us a spirit with a great big DDD PhD and his car turned around in the back. everything like that say well of course the days of miracles are is passed we all know that that's the way brother Brandham said in the tape I was listening to it today no that didn't come from God it's contrary to the word amen he sends the ones that ministers the spirit of the word amen is to point you to Jesus Christ that's my only interest oh what about this technicality or that I I I I don't care I just want to point you to Jesus what you do after that is between you and him just like this quote says You don't have to figure it out. You can't figure out God. You got to accept it. Just invite him in and see what happens. I I'm not here to teach you all about the technicalities of all the different doctors. That has its place. But I'm just here to introduce you to Jesus. What you do with this Jesus called the Christ is between you and well, Jesus, right? Yes. What about the negative part of this? The Israelites when faced with challenges in the wilderness imagined life back in Egypt. That's right. We don't want heavenly bread all the time. What if we're back in Egypt? Like, yes, we get whipped all the time. We get cursed at. We get mocked, but we also have beds or at least a place to rest kind of. And we have a variety of food. Kind of figs and leeches and all the other weird things. At least we can rest. Like, we're in the middle of nowhere. Yeah. But God doesn't lead us to to to to have the perfect scenarios. He God purposely places us in impossible situations to make the only way out trusting in him. That's right. Satan puts us puts our minds in impossible situations to where we think the only way out is trusting in everything else except Jesus Christ. Amen. That's good. So they used imaginations in the wrong way. We want to use it in the right way with faith. They doubted. Oh, but God, you know what? God was waiting. So, could you show me this the time where the Israelites came to God and said, "God, would you please help us?" And he didn't. I can't. They said, "We're starving." And he said, "Sure, here's some mana." What if one of them would have said, "Lord, I come to you humbly in the in the name of Jehovah, whatever the name was, then would you please give me some extra mana or would you would you please encourage me?" And he would talk to Moses. Moses would do that. But there seems to be the spirit attached to doubting. Is the spirit attached to imagining things? Satan's happy to get us to imagine the negative. But don't you go about imagining the positive? No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No way. Imagine the negative. Yes. But the positive, no. What is this about? What is the the action I want you to take? I want you to like life is like the spiritual life, let's say, is like a um a game of chess. I played a lot of threeminute chess like blitz and you can make moves by memory. But if you play in a longer session, you can take time and consider every move you make. You're in eternity. Now I'm saying look at the board in front of you and consider your moves carefully. Why do they like social media and real so much? Why do they advertise that so much? because it puts us in a mode of receiving quick dopamine hits to our brain where we're not considering what we're doing, but rather we're becoming the product for these companies, right? Yeah. Memories. The faculty by which the mind stores and remembers information. This is a tough one. Your past memories. I remember what you did wrong. Y that's a tough one. In the positive though, the way that we treat memories, Joseph, when reunited with his brothers who had sold him into slavery, chose to focus on God's plan for good rather than dwelling on the pain of his past. He said, "You intended to harm me." But God intended for it for good to accomplish what's now being done, the sa the saving of many lives. Satan thought he was going to use those memories against Joseph, but Joseph used them for the positive. Joseph being a perfect type of Christ, didn't take the rejection personally, but rather used the memory of that as, "Hey, praise the Lord. We're going to save everyone through this. We're going to take this hardship and use it for good. So, he remembered it for good. I'm so glad that God doesn't remember my remember my sins and in iniquities. Amen. I'm so happy for that. You can be normal lost and God himself could be lost. God placed you for a purpose here and for a reason. God doesn't remember. People say, "Did you hear what so and so did?" Like, "Well, did they give their life to God?" Well, well, yeah. Well, if God doesn't know about it, why should I? Why would I care? I've had several people come to me and tell me the terrible thing they thought or they did way back when or even yesterday or today or whatever. And they're like, do you think differently of me now? I'm like, no. Why would I? Why would I? If you consistently do evil to me, that's one thing. But you're going to tell me about some terrible thing that you did that made you into who you are today. Why would I keep a memory of that and use it against you? God doesn't. Why would I? Amen. Another part the the Israelites again they forgot what God did for them like spiritual amnesia I believe it's called where like it's like the corporate world now what have you done for me lately I don't care if you were top five in the company last year but what have you done for me this month? Yeah. Like yes Lord we know you brought us out of Egypt but we're going to forget about all the bad stuff. Kind of like when you get out get out of a bad relationship and your mind, you know why your mind goes back to look at all the old pictures again? Because it literally activates the same when your mind goes back to the old pictures again. It's getting the same chemicals that are released when you when you try to quit heroin. Did you know that? So when you go back and you're like, "Oh, I was with this ex-girlfriend or boyfriend or whatever." You're really just going back for your fix. You got to put it out of your mind. So the Israelites had an ex called Egypt and they wanted to consider it but they didn't want to remember all the negative facts. You know what I I listened to TED talks like over a year ago and they said when your mind goes to remembering all the great things supposed they only look at the ex's amazing. They said write down every negative thing and whenever you go to reminiscing about how great it was read the list of the wrong things. Yeah. Because I guarantee you if those Israelites would have known, oh wait, hold on. We're going to we're going to remember this. But also remember, they beat us, they scourged us, they tortured us, they killed us. Yeah. So if if Satan wants to remind you of your past, I want you to remind him of your past too on Calvary. Yes. Amen. So what are you saying, David? The p if Satan was reminding you of all these terrible, terrible things, you remind him, yes, I did do those things. And I asked God about it and he said he doesn't know about it because it's under the blood because he covered it on Calvary. Satan wants us to use our memories for the doubt of God's word. Oh, do you remember when you were feeling terrible? Do do you do you remember when God didn't immediately answer your prayer? Yeah. Well, while conveniently leaving out the fact where God delaying the answers to your prayer is what made you is what answered the prayer the way that was better for you anyway. Yeah. Sometimes, oh, I really wanted to work out with this certain certain girl, this certain certain guy. Thank God it didn't. Amen. Otherwise, it would have been bad for you. So, when you pray for what you want and you, oh, I really wanted it. God really gives you what you really need. Amen. Amen. Oh, but I remember the Egypt Egyptians, they even gave us a cake once every two years. It was so nice. And they're getting Satan's getting them to just remember all the good things. And almost as if the bad things didn't happen. Yeah. But we used it for good. I remember when God delivered me. I remember when I broke my finger and then two weeks later I could move it again. I remember when time after time after time after time where Amy would be in terrible, terrible uh positions, but God delivered her. Amen. And he'll continue to deliver. He'll continue to deliver me. Amen. Passions. This is a fun one. Passion. I'm very passionate. Well, at least that's what people tell me, but I am. Nehemiah had a passion for rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Despite the setbacks, he didn't care. He's like, "We're going to build this no matter what." Strong and barely controllable emotions. Oh my. I'll correct that. Sometimes not even controllable at all. emotions. They're going to happen regardless. Esther had such a passion for her people, she didn't care. Even if reproaching the king killed her to save her people. She had passions for her people. Hannah had such a passion for having children. She didn't care about what people in the temple thought of her when she was praying to her. People thought she was drunk. She's like, "I'm going to have this child. I'm going to have Lord, please help me. I don't care what I look like." I think sometimes we consider the what people will think of us socially more than we can whe more whether than we consider the praise that we give to the Lord in the sanctuary. Who are you talking about? Me. Lord help me. But it was through passion. They love the Lord. And passion can be used for good or evil. Samson had a passion. Yeah. For Delilah, but that led him to compromise his calling and lose his strength and freedom. But God was able to use it for better because they put him in a position where he killed more in his death than he killed in his whole life. Amen. Peter had such a passion to follow Jesus. Jesus said, "Before the end, you'll turn away." No, I won't. I'm so passionate. I'll never leave you. Who just told you that? Peter. Yeah, Jesus did. I'll never leave you. He said before the crows, you will deny me three times. It was the truth. But he still had that passion. Satan wants us to use our passion. You ever notice when someone like people I've I've worked with a lot of different realms of people socialists communists all yes literally in America all these different people and a lot of them have came to me and said well why do you believe what you believe why do other people believe what they believe and I say people either believe one of two things usually one of three things either they were raised to believe it so they do they were raised to believe it a certain way so they rebel against it for the sake of rebelling or they come up with their own belief system usually and I said I'm fine with having a conversation but if your sole purpose is just to go against what you were raised in. I don't want to have that conversation because it's such a powerful passion to deny something. Almost as strong as having faith in Actually, no, sorry. In your flesh, it's even stronger. Sure. Feels great. It feels amazing. Eve, would you like to be equal with God? Would you like to be on the same playing field with the Lord? Oh, but he's God and he's amazing. Yeah. But did you know God made you in his image after his own likeness? Yeah. Did you know that God made you to be a spirit being and an eternal being after all? Like I mean he gave you this body for a reason. Why not do what you want? You could be no more less than God himself is lost. And I know for a fact that God probably has a plan to save you even if you do wrong. So like why not have fun while you still can? Yeah. The passions can really hurt you, but they can also help you. I'm not here just to talk about the positive and I'm not here just to talk about the negative. It's up to you what you do with these inner gates that God has given you. God gives you a passion to serve him and a passion to love him and a passion that can also be converted to doing wrong. One match can put away thousands of years worth of trees. Yeah. Someone told me today on the phone, they said, "David, you may have 10 good people listening to you in your podcast, and for those 10 people, you'll probably have 300 people that are just trolls." Yeah. And he was telling me, he said, "I he said, I often I used to go online and I used to uh just troll people just for fun." He said, "And I never considered them. I just did it for fun." But some people never acknowledged it. And the Lord help me. I'm learning and I'm growing. But it's passion. What are you using your passion for? Right? God gave you your passion. And if you use it to hurt others or you use it to be if I use it to be right so much that I don't understand what's going on, then Lord help me. Saul used his passions for God and against God. But at the end, he used his passions and said, "You know what? Now I see, David, that I was really I was wrong to hate you so much. I'm going to come back to you and I'm going to make it right with you. And they told him, "Well, you're going to die, Saul, and you won't be the king." He said, "Well, then I'm going to go out fighting. I'm going to go out and fight the Philistines anyway." That's why David said they were stronger than lions. They were fiercer than eagles. So, Satan wants you to use your passion against God. God wants you to use it for him, but use it with faith. Faith paired with doubt or passion paired with doubt is a very strong force. You know what's stronger? Passion paired with faith. Amen. I doubt it, but I'm very passionate about my doubts. Okay, brother Bam said, "Doubt your doubts." Remember, doubt is the victory for the devil. Faith is the victory for us. Both of them start in mustard seed form. And it's up to you what you do with them. Is this all right tonight? Affections. A settled good will towards someone or something. Fondness, tender attachment, affection. I like you. You're really neat. Ruth had unfavoring love for Naomi. Even in the face of hardship and uncertainty, she said, "Where you go, I will go. Where you die, I will die. There will I be buried. I don't care cuz I care so much about you." Jesus said to his bride, "I don't care what pain they put me through. I will go through it all just for you because I love you so much." using faith with affection, blind love almost to what the Jesus used blind love compared to the circumstances, but he go he went beyond what was considered blind because he loved his people so much. Amen. But affections, you can love something too much. The rich young ruler loved his wealth too much. He said, "Lord, what should I do to follow you? What can I do?" And God said, he did you follow my commandments? He said, "Yes, I followed all of I done everything the way I'm supposed to. And he said, I notice you have a $10,000 suit on. You have a purse full of money. Sell all you have and give it to the poor and follow me. And the rich young had too much of a love for his money. He thought that that was the real value, but he didn't know that he should have had faith in God because who was staying in front of him was worth more than all the riches in the entire world. Yeah. His affections misplaced and hindered his faith, but I love the Lord and I want to use it for faith. Faith paired with love. Oh man, what a combination. But love paired with doubt. Yeah. Oh, I love you, but I just don't see the truth in that. Right. It's tough. It's the weird It's It's ironic that the greatest force of all time, the greatest the most the most certain reality is the one that never makes logical sense. And the most uncertain reality is the one that always makes logical sense. It's going to rain, know it. All the scientists, all the philosophers, all the psychologists, everybody says it's not going to rain. They were technically right. The only thing that made Noah say it's going to rain anyway is because God said so. So why can't we do that with God's promises today? It's because Satan uses these gates against us. How getting us just to consider just to consider way out. Now in closing here, there's a little story brother told Greatest Battle Ever Fought. We'll go through it as the best I can, but I just go through here. And there was a little girl named Nelly Sanders B had just become a preacher. He's preaching with the tent meeting. He said that little girl was one of the best dancers. She went to high school down here and heard Lee Horn. Many of you know in town. He Lee Horn runs the pool room. They were the best dancers there in the country. He's Catholic himself. Of course, religion doesn't mean nothing to them. So then Nelly and them. So she was a great dancer and he was too. And they had this here dance called the Black Bottom and Jitterbugs and all them things. And there was the two best in the country. One day she staggered up in in up here one of the night to the meeting. There she fell down at the altar. Little Nelly, bless her heart, she laid there at the altar. She raised up her head and she cried and the tears running down her cheek. She said, "Billy," she knew me. She said, "I want to be saved so bad." And I said, "Nelly, you can be saved. Jesus, Jesus already saved your girl. You have to accept it now on the basis of his word." But she stayed there and she cried. Let's go to paragraph um paragraph 2 259. So she gets saved in brother Ben's meetings and all that. And then and so then all at once he's talking to someone and a cab. A cab slammed the door outside and somebody knocking real hard. Brother Bill, brother Bill, brother knock. Brother Bill, brother Bill. Thought my goodness, somebody must be dying. I jumped up the door, grabbed my old thing there, throw it around my pajamas like this and covered way up ran at the door. It sounded like a woman. I opened the door and this young girl standing at the door said she said, "Oh, can I come in?" I said, "Come in." And I turned the lights on and now she was just crying like that. And she said, "Oh, Billy, I'm I'm gone. I'm gone." I said, "What's the matter, Nelly? You got a heart attack?" She said, "No." She said, "Brother Bill, I was coming down spring." She said, "Honest, Brother Bill. Honest, Brother Bill. I didn't mean no harm. I didn't mean no harm." I said, "What's the matter?" I thought, "What am I going to do with her now? I don't know what to do. I didn't know what to do. He's just a young fellow." And she said, "Oh, Brother Bill, I'm just I'm just all the pieces." I said, "Now, quiet down, sis. Tell me all about it." She said, "Well," she said, "I was coming down the street and the Redmond's Hall used to have Saturday night dances there." And she said, "I had some stuff that I was going to home to make me address." She said, "I heard that music and she said, you know," said I stopped just a minute and said it kept getting better. So then you thought, you know, it won't hurt if I stand right here. That's where she made a mistake. Stopped for a moment. She just listened. Said, "Well, I'm going to think." said, "Lord, you know I love you, though." Said, "You know, I love you, Lord, but I can remember the time when Lee and I used to win the the cups and so forth for dancing." She said, "I remember that old music used to track me. It don't know." Uh-huh. Oh. Oh. Oh, you just you don't you just think it don't. It's already got you right there. That's just as good as he wants right there. See, how many ever know Nelly Sanders? I guess a whole lot of you. Yeah. Sure. They was. She said, she said, "Well, you know what?" said, "Maybe if I walk up on the steps there, I'll be able to testify to some of them." Oh, see, you're right on the devil's ground. Stay out of it. Shun the very appearance of evil. But she walked by top of the steps and stood there a few minutes watching all the dancing going on. And first thing you know, she was in some boy's arms out on the floor. Then she come to herself and she was standing there crying and going on, "Oh, I'm lost now for good. I'm so lost." I thought, "Well, I don't know too much about the Bible, but I believe Jesus said, "In my name that are cast out devils." Wait a minute so up a little bit. Is this all right tonight? Yeah. And was sitting there watching. See, so I said, "Now, devil, I don't know who you are, but I'm telling you now, this is my sister, and you ain't got no business withholding her." She didn't mean to do that. She just stopped for a minute. That's where she made her mistake, though. I said, "But you're going to have to come out of her. You hear me?" And so, help me God, at the judgment bar, I know that screen door began to opening and shutting by itself. Plumpity plumpity there at the door. Punka plumpa plump, I thought. And she said, "Bill, look at there. Look at there." I said, "What is that?" She said, "I I don't know. Neither do I. And the door went pumpy pump to pump shutting like that. I I thought, "What's the matter here? What's the matter? These things are demon power." Yeah, I'm preaching about demon power. Oh, I'm bored listening to this. It's demon power making you feel that way. Yeah. And the It's paragraph 280. I looked again like that and I said, "Leave her, Satan, in Jesus' name. Come out of her." When I said that, it looked like a great big bat about this long rose up from behind her with long hair hanging down out of its wings and off of its feet like that was going right towards me just as hard it as it come. I said, "Oh Lord God, the blood of Jesus Christ protect me from that." And Wayne jumped up in the bed, looked and here it was like a big shadow circled around went over and went down behind the bed. Out of the bed went in the next room as hard as he could. So we I got Nelly and took her home and come back and I couldn't. Mom went in there and took the sheets and everything and there wasn't nothing in that bed. But what what what what what was it? A devil went out of her. What happened? She stopped for a moment. That's all. Don't stop at all. When God sinks his word in your heart, just take that sword and start chopping and cutting. Hallelujah. That thing in your heart doubting everything all the time isn't God. It's a demon spirit. Come on now. You ever notice about doubt? It never wants you to doubt your doubts or doubt the bad things. It always wants you to doubt the good things. Oh, you're talking about certain people. I'm talking about everything. If you want to feel good in a day, oh, I doubt it. Oh, it's just going to be another one of those days. I heard that. I hear that almost every single day at work. It's just going to be another one of those days cuz of a mild inconvenience. That's the weird thing about it is that you always want to do it in a negative way, even to just regular things. Oh, we got vanilla ice cream. Oh, I guess they're out of chocolate. It's just so normal. Well, David, I'm supposed to study the scripture. Musicians, please. I'm supposed to study the scripture and find out what is right. I certainly believe but I certainly believe in study and critical thinking and getting closer to God. But I also believe that if God is leading you or me to study on his word, it'll be accompanied with the fruit fruits of the spirit. Right? Amen. Last scripture is James 3:13. Who is a wise man and do with knowledge among you? Let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For what envying and strife is, there is confusion in every evil work. You ever notice that the the counter to Jesus is never quite an established work. It's always that what's established is that he's just wrong. for every but the wisdom that is from above. So if you wanted to tell me you're doubting everything or you're studying everything if it's not accompanied by this spirit, it's not of God. It's not it couldn't possibly be. It's first pure then peaceable. Oh, could you did you ever hear someone that said, "Oh, I found Jesus and never since I can't get along with my pastor. I can't get along with my brothers. I can't get along with my sisters. I'm mad all the time. I can't make it to church on time. I can't make it through a service if they're going to the bathroom 87,000 times and oh it's so great finding Jesus. No you don't. You don't. If your revelation is so great you can't even make it through a whole service and you can't even make it to church on time. I don't care what your revelation is because it's first pure than peaceable gentle and easy to be intreated. That means you can have a conversation with them without them threatening to leave your relationship. We're using manipulative tactics on you full of you're wrong and this and that and what about this? This is a lion that full of mercy and good fruits. If these people are lying so right, what are the fruits? Is the fruits just the ability to find fault with something? Where's the life of Jesus Christ? Since when did the right thing become doubting the right thing or even anything? [Music] The gospel isn't to bring you to someone, but is to bring me away from everything else and only to Jesus. Any gospel that sole purpose is to not just to bring me to Jesus, I want no part in it. Because when I found Jesus, I was first pure, then peaceable, hallelujah, gentlemen, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits without partiality. That means without bias. That means you don't talk to one person one way and another person another. But you're the same without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. It's gentle. It's nice. If if you can't be at peace with people, you can't even get to the most simple thing. Dad, how could it be true? Oh, since I found Jesus, I hate Dominique all the time. Since I found the Lord, I've got problems with everyone all the time. I can't get along with I can't even get along with myself. Since I found the Lord, I found this new thing called never getting to church on time. I found this new thing called going to the bathroom for the whole half the service every single time. It's so great, but it's we want the Lord Jesus Christ. Who are you talking about? I'm not talking about any certain person. I'm talking about the Lord Jesus Christ and sin against it. Oh, it's a certain thing. It happens at every service. It happens in everything. I've been to camps where there's four services and I don't go to the bathroom. It's called going to the bathroom before the service. Why? Because we run to Jesus Christ. What am I telling you? Run to Jesus Christ. You know what Paul say? They did entire services without air conditioning or heating. The only thing was, "Well, listen to what Jesus said." This is not against any certain person. It happens to me, too. I used to go to the bathroom cuz I didn't have to listen to the preacher. I could just sit there listening to my thoughts or playing the game. Is this all right? Doing my best. I just want to serve Jesus. I just want to bring you to [Music] Jesus. Here, I'll tell you about the last example of a person about they didn't care what they felt like. It didn't c it didn't matter. And if I don't do all that I can to to hold myself to this standard, I believe I'm not doing it right. There was a the most important service of church that ever happened where a man called Jesus had to go up a hill called Calvary. The scene was so brutal his intestines were hanging out of his body. You could, the Bible says he was so marred you couldn't tell if he was male or female. He was just so overdone. They ripped his skin out. They ripped his flesh out. His rib cage was hanging out. And he didn't think, "Oh, but what can I be comfortable?" He thought, "Can I save my people?" It didn't matter to him. He just wanted to save his people. I'm not talking about anybody in particular. I'm just saying, "Run to [Music] Jesus. Serving the Lord Jesus is the best decision I ever made. It's the most important thing to me. I'm not a volunteer here. This is my life. This is everything to me. Nothing else matters to me more than my role here at church. Nothing. And Lord, help me to serve him better. Well, I'm done. [Applause] [Music] [Music] The word of God is quick, powerful than any two-edged sword that there ever was. Sister Fay, well worth coming. You don't want to miss services like this. Believe that with all my might. Let's check our motives, our objectives. Amen. If you see, Brother Bram said this, don't decize anyone. If you see someone and they're trying to serve God, even if it's not our church, Dominique, you know what your kids doing, reading the Bible, that is the message. What your neighbors doing, Sister Suzanne, when they mow the lawn and stuff, when that is the message. The message is the love of God displayed, put on display. Amen. And I really enjoyed it. I stand behind all of that. You know, usually pastors for some of that corrections, but you know, it's all the truth. Of course, we need to get to church on time. Of course, we all know that we we ought to be prayed up during the week. We have to just do our best. And sometimes things happen. You we miss the clock or whatever. That's normal. Done it myself. Years ago, every time they would change the clocks, we'd either be an hour early or an hour late every time. And they'd all laugh at the church. And nowadays, cell phones changed that all. Isn't God good though? Really proud of this group. Proud of your reaction to the word of God. I'm proud of David. And I pray that God continues to mold him and press him into the image of God. And you know, you get very attacked. I was going to have a series on every single prophet, a good prophet. We're attacked, especially our Lord Jesus. Every single good king attacked. Every single good priest in the Bible attacked. Every single good Christian so far that I've read attacked. Never read anything where this Christian Joe Jones here had a perfect easy life and he served God and nothing ever happened. I haven't read that yet. Is anybody else? And even outside of the Bible, we have the Fox's book of martyrs. 60ome million souls trying to hold the line for the Lord Jesus Christ. Ridiculed, persecuted for what they believed. Some of them even singing songs to Jehovah God while the fire was burning their bodies. But you can't burn the soul. People say, "Oh, if you get cremated when you die, you won't make the rapture." That's so carnal. It's like saying Jesus was wrong when he told Peter to walk on water. It may seem right, but God knew just what he was doing. Including when Peter started to fall, God was going to reach down and pull him back. Amen. Is that what this is all about? What is the message? Pulling people back to him, actually turning their hearts to Jesus Christ. I thank God for my priest. I had some real good ones when I was little because in the message I recognized sometimes their words as they were leading me and directing me. I thank God for my mom and my dad and how they cared for me and fed me. I thank God for the early Pentecostal pastor I had and he just tried his best. And thank God I had many good friends in different religions in college and those were the worst days on earth for a man. you. It's a miracle to make it through college if you don't have control. But oh, I had some good friends. Have you had good friends? Amen. Friends who in spite of the evidence loved you and their passion was to help you. Their memories was to help you get through the bad ones and help you to [Music] good. Those doors to the soul. I want faith to lead me. Don't you? I want faith. Let's just sing a song. Let's remember everybody. It's a real battle going on. And God uh God always wins. Someone draws you out, you draw them right back in. Is that what we want to do? Amen. Is everybody clear? Is your heart's clear? Did that feel good? That just felt so good to me. You asked me why I'm happy. So, I'll just tell you why. because my sins, my unbelief is gone. So, let's sing that song and we'll have a little word of prayer. You ask me why I'm happy, so I'll just tell you why. Because my sins are gone. And when I meet the scoffers who ask me where they are, I sing my sins are gone. There underneath the blood and cross of Calvary. as far removed as darkness is from dawn in the sea of God's forgetfulness. That's good enough for me. Praise God. My sins are gone. Amen. Father, we love you, Lord. We thank you for the word, for visiting us tonight, Lord, with the power of the word. and Lord, the revealing of our senses, our emotions, our imaginations, our memories, Lord. But thank you, Lord, also that you revealed faith in us. We believe your word, Father. We know that what you begun, you're able and more than able to finish. We're counting on that. We ask in the name of Jesus you'd help us Lord to to grow in this great word so we'll hear that great rapture call Lord and we'll rise up in the air to meet our loved ones who went before us Lord that you help us each and every day Lord to avoid the old dance all of life. Father help us to stop to go the other way the first beat of the music of the world we hear and Lord when we fall because we do we're so grateful for Calvary. We're so grateful that a propitiation was made, that you were bruised for our iniquity, that the peace was upon our peace. Lord, you you you secured for us. So, Father, truly, Lord, make all things new. Turn our hearts, Lord, to you. And, Father, we praise and bless you, Lord, and ask that you just go with us now as we go our separate ways, Father. Keep us in the love of Jesus. For we ask it now, Lord, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Was at the old time altar where God came in my heart and now my sins are gone. The Lord took full possession. The devil did depart. I'm glad my sins are gone. They're underneath the blood of the cross of Calvary. Far removed as darknesses from God in the sea of God's forgetfulness. That's good enough for me. Praise God. My sins are gone. God bless you. be with you. [Music]
