do you guys think I've got a I've got a question about um about video games and I've got a question about uh loneliness and being single which which question do you guys want me to answer first the uh relationship one or the video games one John Namo says able to go to Louisiana Camp uh not yet I haven't found a ride yet so we'll see we shall see if I'm able to find one loneliness okay so someone sent in video games oh boy who's going to break the tie it's two really good questions video there you go no I'll broke the tie we got 10 seconds for someone else to send in the relationship one or loneliness one then okay juicy Stu for last fair enough all right so the video gamees One someone asked uh what do you think about guys that play video games in the message most of the time the female characters not decent plus decent but but I still know many of guys that play the games just asking for your opinion since you're a guy so the question is basically what do I think of guys in the message that play video games that maybe have women that aren't that appropriate in them H as far as what I think of guys that play video games in the message it's just like anything else I'm probably going to make it real about this but video games is just like anything else it can be used for good or evil it's not a special bad thing it's not going to kill you more than hunting will either one can hurt you uh just depends on the person um now is and any remember any point we make from from Authority as if you can or cannot do something is uh it's going to be it's going to be shown somewhere else like for instance someone says oh well uh you know babies in the womb they aren't viable they can't take care of themselves so we should be able to kill them in the womb you say okay what about people that are on life support it's the same for this um so when someone says oh well you know what about video games with female characters that aren't decent it depends on the video game I know some video games like I worked with people that play video games all the time for like three and a half years so I heard all about it and so uh I know some of them are basically porn which is not good um but I would say it depends on what they're playing the video games for instance if you're playing a video game it happens to have it in it and you just ignore it and go on it depends I would say skip a scene if it's something you wouldn't want to look at but you know the argument of saying oh well if there's something bad in a video game you should not even play the video game at all then you know that same point can be made for instance with video with uh Walmart don't go to Walmart you can see someone that's stressed badly um and someone says oh no well that's different because you don't have to play video games but I do have to go to Walmart to which I would say you can just get a Walmart plus membership and have them deliver you your groceries so you don't have to be exposed to those things in the world right cuz if the basic argument is don't play video games you might see some indent women that also means don't go to Walmart right it's the same reasoning what happens is that people don't want to do that because it goes against their uh convenient doctrines some people religiously hate movies or video games or TV shows but they they love hunting and fishing because they don't like movies TV shows or video games they like hunting and fishing what what am I drinking perer they had it on sale at Walmart so trying to be more healthy ingredients in this are just water mineral water and carbon dioxide so it's pretty good it's not as good as the other stuff I found one day but pretty good so I would say it depends on the game but it depends on how much you're playing the video game as well if you're a uh things may be lawful but not expedient well I don't know it it it's all very subjective like you could you can take legalism very very far like you shouldn't watch any basketball ever because you could be listening to a tape instead are you saying listen watching basketball is better for you than listening to a tape and what happens is is legalism clashes with uh with what's convenient for someone what someone actually likes personally and things get said in a broad sense instead of taking things that are more direct saying all video games are bad or all movies are bad TV whatever else isn't actually true a lot of them are some of them are just fine and they won't kill you or saying all forms of hunting are good for you no they're not going hunting so much that you miss church isn't good for you uh you buying the dirty magazines from hunting girls isn't good for you there's good and bad parts of each of each thing and so you know when someone says you know maybe there's indecent girls on the uh on the video games it's really between them and God when I'm more concerned with is what is their relationship with God how much time are they spending on these video games do they have do they have a responsible life what kind of physical shape are they in etc etc etc but too many times people uh people have uh biases for their hobbies and biases against other people's Hobbies it's not Doctrine it's not thus sayith the lord it's just opinion I'm Seth King says bring back the beard hash bringback the beard maybe I could I don't know I know we like younger like this but we'll we'll see I guess so I mean people disagree with what I'm saying here I mean feel free to chime in guys and also you can go to my story and put in a not going to lie question too um people say oh bring back why did you shave the beard it was awesome some people love it some people hate it kind like to do both things that was quite the live the other night huh that was fun um Isaiah who says if you're playing a video game with indecently dressed women then you shouldn't play it it depends on what you mean by in indecently dressed women cuz if you're playing a long video game and one of the main characters that you have to look at all the time is indecently dressed then I'd say if there isn't a setting to turn that off then I probably wouldn't play the video game but if for instance you're playing like a I don't know um I'm not super big into video games if you're playing a game where in a game that would take you 60 or 70 hours to beat the whole game and in what and in and in like you know the 20 hours of cut scenes there is one scene that's about 2 minutes long where you just have to skip it and then the rest of it's fine that I don't have a problem with just skip the stupid scene and then focus on the fun parts of the game but I'm not going to say that oh oh well if there's anything wrong with any part of it at all you shouldn't play it whatsoever that's an argument from Authority and you can't apply it everywhere you can't so it's not a argument from Authority it's just a uh it's a uh thing but of course every person should go according to their own uh their own convictions and what their pastor says and all that too though what's up Grace Angie Addison shell scaring travels hello but um you know if it has anything bad in it then you shouldn't play I don't think that you know you shouldn't go to Walmart there's dirty magazines on the walls well I still will why because I ignore the dirty magazines to they sometimes cross your eyes yeah I just skip them away sure there you go you know but I'm not going to say don't play uh Super Smash Brothers cuz one of the characters is weird looking and like just just don't play with that character you know um but it's about what's on the soul and just be careful you know just just be be careful um there you go so that's my answer to that um okay so I have a fun you guys ready you guys you guys have any more questions about the video games uh question or do you guys want me to go on to the uh to the loneliness relationship question loneliness they're sending mixed signals just move on um I'd say just move on um you can I wouldn't even ask to be honest with you I would uh say hey nice talking to you God bless and work on yourself to where you don't feel lonely when you don't have someone with you it's natural to feel a little lonely when you're not in a relationship but you should feel um almost complete with uh God in your life um Olivia Kini says uh if he's lonely he should focus on his family and friend relationships outside of her otherwise he could be seeking the wrong relationship just for company so the question again is though in this certain part of my life thing things have changed to where uh to where things are different I don't feel the same as I did before um I trust God and uh I got a great family by God's grace I'm in a place where I can strongly at every service sing and preach and do these lives with you guys have a great job by God's grace have the opportunity to move stuff around and if you're not com if you don't feel complete before you have a girl you won't feel complete with her or after her so for the guy with a girl giving you mixed signals just I would ask her directly or I just move on if a girl likes you she'll tell you if she's willing to overlook everything to be with you she will if she wants to be with you she'll be with you if she doesn't want to be with you she won't be with you if she wants to play around then don't play with her just say I wouldn't even say anything I just stopped talking to her say hey God bless you I'm not going to talk to you anymore and so uh you say when I'm not with her it's like I lose a I lose a piece of my mind well you should be complete before you try to find the girl people aren't attracted to people who want to build nice Gardens they're attracted to the nice beautiful garden you build the nice Garden then people are wanting to go to it you should what's up M holes how's it going welcome to live so whatever questions you guys what does she have like a XY chromazone XX whatever it is the certain chromosome but the resurrection we're excited about it why because it signifies that Jesus died and rose from the dead and that um we don't have to uh worry about salvation we don't have to worry about about where we're going to go if we if or when we die that's the exciting part that is's the exciting part the exciting part to been people that have no language to speak except pure comedy and pure jokes and no seriousness whatsoever then the um then the uh Holy Spirit comes in and changes someone from the outside in it's one of the points of these lives too is to try to help people and bring people to a place where they can get the Holy Ghost and change their whole life and change it from something that's miserable and just from from one social game to the next onto something that actually matters something that's actually true something that actually will produce something if what was that quote I forgot who said it if your let me pulled up there's a certain quote I want to bring up what's up Elijah winners if you define I'm going to change this up a little bit but if you define Yourself by the power to take life the desire to dominate to possess then you have nothing if you define Yourself by the power to try to embarrass someone socially or to try to take away their status or something like that you have nothing but I'm glad that it is Easter we can know that we have something that's true something that's right that Jesus Christ rose from the dead and even if I just had to break up with my girlfriend even if yeah sure I feel a little alone I can still know that I'm a Son of God and God says that he who begun a good work in you is able to finish it so for anyone that's there just there just there to watch me to make fun shame on you because until you get right with God then your sins are not covered by the blood you have to get in Christ you have to meet God at his conditions and I'm so thankful that I have by God's grace let's see KK says what do you think gossiping is well it's not about what I think I know the technical definition of gossiping is saying something about someone else behind their back that isn't confirmed to be true like what people do to me all the time I'm sure they do it to others but I'm a Son of God and no matter how many people want to make fun no matter how many people just only get their value from trying to make someone else look bad when really they're just insecure then uh no matter how I don't care I'm a Son of God and I can be thankful because I trust God that uh he has he knows who I'll end up marrying he knows who I'll end up being with happy birthday to S happy birthday Sarah yeah happy birthday to my sister Sarah um so I'm happy I'm a Son of God why would I be disappointed in life life has its ups life has its downs and that's just how it goes and if you're not feeling sad sometimes it's happen just for clarification if we pick on you then we aren't saved well Eli I'm going to answer the question the way that Jesus answered questions like that Jesus would answer questions in something like this could you imagine G Peter James and John all Disciples of God being in a room and then one of the disciples begins to say hey how can I embarrass Peter how can I embarrass him publicly how can I try to humiliate him and get him to lose his temper hey everyone yeah let's try to get him to lose his temper if you can honestly tell me whether or not someone actually that we no and uh so um I would go off of that let's see here as far as gossip if it's not confirmed to be true you're just yielding to a demon Spirit if you haven't confirmed it to be true but the BM said if you don't have something nice to say about someone don't say anything at all let me pull Pi another question here oh but if it's true is it gossip um what depends on what you mean by true but bam did say never to damage someone's character he also said don't say anything negative about someone um Anonymous says a Christian will go straight to the person and find out if something is true or not they will not gossip in long tongue everywhere they can without considering what God is pleased with so they will go a Christian will go straight to the person and find out if something is true or not they won't gossip in long tongue so they will go straight to the person being talked about not cowed off talking about them behind their back like a 16-year- old girl or 12-year old girl that's not even in the message at all that's what they do in Middle School a real Christian will go straight to that person and say hey what's going on so and so that's what they'll do but I'm still G I'm happy it's true what's up Ana of our camps there's many very many favorites my favorite part I'd say is when um is when uh it's when the preaching is exactly what we need favorite part of about camps is when they preach some correction and then mend it with love and actually gets great um that would be the best my favorite part my favorite part of a camp is when the preaching is spoton to what people need and it's corrective and it's something that actually you know isn't easy to hear John mod says I want to give you a haircut David but is if you're black a good taper fade I don't know John maybe I'm not I'm not exactly sure um but I love camps and I'd say one of my favorite Parts also is the uh the fellowship is really nice that's a lot of fun to have sir hope cross wants to join why not if it'll even work anyway trying to get it to work we'll see if it we'll see if it actually works uh Olivia C says what about camps do you think needs changed um what said camps are really good by God's grace um I think that what they could do like a byc is they could uh have one they could extend the the camp out for a day so for instead of Saturday to Friday it be Saturday to Saturday or even Saturday to Sunday but have one day with no services because it's a lot for everyone to go to and it's very uh it can get very very uh tiring so if I were to change something about camps I would uh I would add a rest day to camps and I would uh change the morning services to be just more teaching and not necessarily a uh you know a a night Revival because it just it gets way too tiring for people way too tiring and then people are wanting to listen and people are wanting to uh you know join in the worship but they're just so EXC usted um so yeah I like the way it came to you want to be on do you have sermon or more of a a a encouraging sermon um I feel like more encouraging I don't even know he was kind of fast and it was kind of scary hearing my brother preach so it's like okay so ra raise got it the quickening power of the revelation of Jesus Christ oh that's Co yeah yeah yeah the quickening power I see it was it's a like tongue twister right there uh it's kind of a long title or whatever but it was good he actually I'm I'm proud of him he did pretty good it was it was weird seeing him preach but he did good what was your service about today uh my dad preached on um he that endureth unto the end shall be saved this very good it was about what your dad preaches he's the pastor oh you didn't know this I didn't what's his name yep the Tom yeah and preach on the one that will endure into the end shall be saved he also play part of it was about feelings and and he also played an excerpt from um brother Paul off on tain's Church actually this the one I have on my highlights where our feelings are not to be interpreted as truth something that it was very good yeah um did you have two services today or we only have one on Sundays why why are you playing around with the with the thing that's [ __ ] so bad I didn't even notice there was a filter what are you drinking oh my God it's it's carbonated water oh my gosh you scared me I thought that was beer yes of of course it's beer don't you know no it's not no it's perer it's it's carbonated mineral water not the brand of beer to drink you do you like the way it tastes no really it's okay there's a certain brand on Amazon that I like a bunch it's it's really good but I like that primarily no spark um yeah so um did you go to lunch today after church yes yes I did we went to uh I saw your top teeth I never see your top teeth because I feel like you kind of like you kind of have your head down when you talk so I feel like there you go oh nice but so what's like your favorite kind of food like you got like stop you got like Mexican food Chinese food Asian ASI American JoJo stop um yeah there's a lot of different like categories which one's your favorite uh I prefer the food that's already been cooked I don't like fast food I don't want to have to chase down my food before I eat it you know or that was a good one that was a good one okay uh actually like um what kind of food uh probably a t it's my Tim favorite for food you guys are Frozen just Frozen Frozen people they're frozen guys there go Anonymous says Pizza is the third pull yeah I'd say definitely Pizza is my favorite once they're actually Downs what it is it's up to you what you're going to do with it but there's a scripture today from Dad's sermon that I really liked was so good I loved it because like there's the um I believe you can take the same reasoning that's said in a scripture and applyed to other places like Romans for instance in Romans I'll show you what I mean for instance like when uh Denzel Washington said if you're not failing you're not even trying um oh sorry anous says so where did you go where did your church go to eat after church we went to Burger King it was great a Double Whopper with cheese it was delicious it was it was really good and then later on we went to cookout and got a couple bacon ranch wraps and Shake was really good if you get a chocolate peanut butter shake and you put chocolate by hope but hope that that is seen is not hope for what a man seeth why do he yet hope for but if we hope for that we see not then do we with patience wait for we are saved by hope but hope that is seen is not hope I love that so like for instance right now in my life if I have hope for my mate or whoever I led up with hope that is if I have hope about that you know it's not really hope unless me answer um why are people saying such hard things against me did I rob a bank or something because I'm because it's because uh they're sad and insecure unfortunately anyone that really feels something sincerely will come to me about it but if it's just gossip they won't all almost all the critics never come up to me in person and they never come to me and tell me why because they know I'd probably just repent if it was actually wrong and really what they're upset with is that um is that they're uh upset with maybe themselves or maybe they're not right because like this quote is so true if you define Yourself by the power to take life to the desire to dominate to possess to bully then you have nothing if you're if someone's only defined in their life by their ability or their joy in bullying someone else or trying to make someone else look stupid they don't have anything people that are doing good in life like don't go around trying to embarrass people that's why I asked the question and that's why after I asked that question those people left is could you imagine Peter being in a room and the rest of the disciples plotting how can we make Peter look bad and public it's just not there now you can tease someone sure like regularly but not with if not in the a dirty terrible way where it's not actually clean and I know you don't want to hurt anybody's feelings by talking about these things but what's right is right what's wrong is wrong and when it comes to saying things that are right or wrong Daniel if you're not hurting someone's feelings you're not doing it right yeah I get that now like people but I get it too it's difficult to socially do stuff you're only 17 you know I I do get that part too actually I'm 18 but that's 18 but you still know what I mean though yeah yeah I get you um you're I mean with honest people that will actually do a straightforward discussion because they won't come to me about it yeah well everybody's got their own opinions own thoughts on things and better not yeah but I mean to me I mean this is it's very serious yeah is there an opinion opinions don't matter facts matter what are the facts what is said in the message what is the true straight things like an says wholesome things pure things edifying things where are those things world's not perfect world yeah talk about great things so what are you doing are you going to Louisiana camp this weekend or what you what are you doing for Resurrection weekend Daniel no I'm going to Virginia but not to Louisiana Louisiana that's a bit of a drive for me how long was it h Louisiana I'm guessing that's probably least 16 hours 16 to that's a long drive yeah I'd have to fly down and I don't got time for that with work and everything but it would be fun though but I am going to Virginia probably not USC probably go to bethl again this year and uh maybe the PA Camp up in year so that's probably can't make can't make it to all of them this year okay so what what did you think about bethl uh last year well technically it'd be 2023 I liked it I thought it was fun um I missed the I missed uh I missed um the boats and being to take the boats out into the water that was uh that was fun I missed that a little bit um uh yeah about you the boats uh which was 22 Yeah the boats were nice I didn't really I think I went on the boat one time I went with like Levi and Joshua brainy and stuff like that and that was pretty fun but I honest I was not a f fond of the hills it was a bit of a hike to make it oh yeah that'll take your that'll make your calves just like ceased to exist it was it was tough uh Lev says David where's your woman bro just go on my page you'll know um Sharon says camps you going to this year uh I want to try to go to as many as I can but I hate missing my church services at home so I'm going to try to balance that out the best way that I can um but definitely byc I love going there uh byc um I'll try to make a c2t WT Virginia and Pa and the uh bethl probably this I don't think I make it to twt or byc I went to byc I've probably been going since uh I gotta say like age four because my brothers and sisters went stuff like that and then I started going like whenever I turned 11 so I've been staying inside of a dorm there for probably close to seven eight years so it's kind of I don't know it's a good camp but I'm definitely get order now just over it I guess now I understand yeah I completely completely get that it's predominantly for younger people um those Hills were brutal jod says yes they were man they were they were tough man they were so tough you feel like you did a workout just walking to church it was it was a lot but the services were really good I liked but the John N is and brother uh brother joshh Bennett okay here's here's a way not here's this question isn't designed to say who's better at preaching or anything like that but um but uh what who is your favorite preacher to listen to at these camps the one that You' say or it's a couple of them that you say really speaks to you the most maybe their style reaches your spirit the most uh definitely Dara Ward and um what was it's Jeremy I forget his last name he lives in Texas I'm pretty sure Jeremy I know his name but uh definitely Dar W and that Jeremy guy I forget his name but he's really I I really enjoy his preaching I really can last name now his name is Jeremy Shriner yeah that's it that's it yeah Jeremy Shriner their awarded probably like definitely my top two favorite ministers in the message I'd say I have several favorites for several different reasons my favorite is my dad of course um but as far as like at these camps the ones that reach me the most I like um the Joe Adams and brother Trevor eeman I love the way that they bring stuff out corrective straightforward uh encouraging and corrective at the same time very good just the way that the way that they bring it out really really touches me and helps me a whole lot yeah but D here's a funny question Daniel are you Asian oh my word why you okay this is a okay okay I this is really funny because whenever I was younger and growing up and stuff like that everybody well not everybody but a good majority of my friends I think it was mainly Levi vau who started was Dean they call me Dean but I look Asian I look like mad Asian kind of but I'm not really I'm 20% Asian everybody calls me Asian yes you're 20% Asian but I'm I'm like mainly German and uh American so it's besides the point yes you're Asian German and American are you Jewish too just to line out them all what there's some Indian uh there's a few others too I think like one how is it even possible how many parents do you have like 14 20% Asian that's it's um South Korea not dumpster he said there was like over 30 cat pelts in the dumpster like they were actually eating cats I'm like yo that's insane I don't know I couldn't do that I don't know why people I'm racist against the Asian don't worry Sheffield I'm allowed to be though that's pretty strange thing to say Daniel don't worry eating cat that's that's not good like chick can't they eat chicken like everything everyone else you know yeah I couldn't eat I couldn't eat cat that's disgusting actually I don't think it'd be disgusting I think it's just weird because it's a house pet that people have as a pet and you just see around it now everything tastes with goodu way the convo immediately diverted into dogs after the Asian talk so you're 20% what percentage German are you I don't even know don't know I don't know my my dad's from actually funny story well not really funny story my okay so it's my dad's mom she from Korea she came over from a Korea and my my dad's like the second oldest but my the oldest child that's my my dad oldest child my dad's oldest brother older brother he was actually born in Korea and brought over and stuff like that so um but my dad was born in America so yeah yeah I guess I don't know but I do have family members that are only like my Graham was from well my dad's mom Graham she was from Asia you can see people texting you or what yeah I have people texting me I have it's kind of funny setup I have my phone on my iPad so my phone is kind of like propped up you know what I'm saying cuz I an iPad computer thing with a keyboard the keyboard so I just have it propped up on there so every single time I get a notification here's a question I'm going through random not gonna lie questions do you have a crush on anyone uh maybe maybe not I I do I do so that's kind of more uh more personal that doesn't get out so very nice love people were like oh who who says what your military my mom and dad were actually both in military they were both uh they were both air in Air Force and that's how they met and got married cool very nice that's good um yeah okay here's here's a good question so at camps there's a tendency for people to go into their own little clicks and go off in their own little groups and no one ever says any hi to anybody new what would be a game that you would at this camps they try to create activities to initiate conversations between guys and girls to get conversations going because it's hard to walk up to people and say hi you know it's a little strange and if they make it part of the camp then it's less awkward it's less hard and it's more conversational because what'll end up happening people just go to the gym get into group and nothing will happen so what is your idea for some way to get people to introduce themselves to new people at camps like some some sort of a game or something like that musical chairs musical chairs I I mean it's kind of like a like you don't really they only really play like one one of those games you know the whole entire camp but if you think about it I mean most people that's kind of where everybody kind of gathers they all stand around and watch it but I mean like I don't know everybody play not a lot of people like going out and playing volleyball but musical chairs you don't really have much of a skill besides pushing and shoving I don't know you can maybe meet somebody I don't know I suppose gives you gives everyone something Mutual to talk about I mean also though like at winter youth treat a couple years ago for instance they had a thing where brother Paul and brother uh Barry and some and both of their wives actually said hey it's not wrong to walk up to someone and say hello and if they don't like you they say hey I don't like you you're not my typer whatever it's not actually the end of the world and what that did and that's a very I'm I'm uh what's the word I'm kind of uh not saying exactly what the way that they did but what it did was is it set up things to where it' be easier for guys and girls to talk to each other because but what'll happen people Retreat to their youth groups because they're more comfortable socially that way and you're not able to actually talk to anybody because people say oh you're being too obvious or whatever and I feel like like there's a lot of there's a lot of quiet people in the message I feel like that yeah they have their own clicks and like to stay together personally I don't really I don't think I have that problem because I'm a more open person I'll go up and talk to just about anyone like I yeah not saying that I don't just hang out with like my main friends stuff like that I go out but I try to switch it up and try to meet new people and I mean I wouldn't say like every single camp but at least every single Camp I'm I try to make at least one to two to three to more friends each time I go there and I normally end up coming out with a normally pretty good friendship and stuff like that so um that's good I mean you know any conversation with you know between so it's cool between guys or whatever because you can get new friends that way between like a guy and a girl what you're looking for is chemistry and if you have it you do if you don't you don't then you move on it's life it's not actually supposed to be this big game where everyone's all so nervous all the time it can be difficult but it's it shouldn't be so trivialized it's not difficult um but you know social norms and the world world has gotten into it everyone's so afraid and it really shouldn't be it really shouldn't be not saying that like just go up to random girls no that's not what I'm saying what I'm saying is if you create a game random people do that then you can talk yeah no like it's all right if you're like if you like join somebody's friend group or something like that like all the people that have like clicks or something like that you just kind of join their friend group and you get to know everybody now the thing is like I don't like to just go up to girls and get to know girls and be friends with them because only mainly because then you kind of be become you more look like a u like you're just a flirt or something like that I feel like that's saying hello to them by walking up to people and saying hello to them yeah you trust me we may not see it like that but I feel like girls do see it like that sometimes like you're a flirt if you just go up to a bunch of different girls and stuff like that and say hello Bunch sure what I'm saying is it's like they could make a game at a camp here's here's a format that you could have is they pre-match People based on what church they go to so you don't get match by someone that goes to your church end age and then your goal is is to learn as much information about that other person and they learn as much information as they can about you and then whoever can have the most information about that person wins the game it gets information flowing and what it does is it runs people through a filter to see if there's any chemistry because it's not act weird to walk up to people and say hello and people think you're weird because you don't know anybody and you walk up to someone and you say hello then that's not correct because in order to because like brother GRE holder one of my friends had been married for 30 years he said David walking up to someone saying hi I'm David isn't being a player or being a flirt it's being a person and if someone's interested you'll know and if they're not interested you'll know and the uh you know the idea that it's weird to walk up to people of the opposite gender and say hello is wrong because you know when you get older you realize that it's such a big game it's such a long game of this whole marriage thing to where you know when a guy is trying to prove himself to a girl just as much as a girl to a guy and really until they know stuff about each other they've been talking for a while then you can't even consider if it's anything more serious but what's happened is is that the way that the world does it is everything's based off of instant attraction and instant chemistry and instant wanting to do stuff and that's crept its way into the message ranks of around the message but you know walking up someone saying hello that's not weird now if you go out of the blue in front of everybody I'd say be a little more strategic than that but if you're not to someone that walks up to a girl and says hello I'm Daniel and people think that's weird they're wrong to think that because for for instance for me every single Camp I go to I am not part of any friend group I don't have have a click of friends I can go to and just sit with them and be socially comfortable every single person I talk to is someone new and so I've almost never had someone that is from a place like me where they don't have any youth tell me oh it's weird to uh it's weird to do that you should not do that it's wrong let's see KK says but if it's specifically girls or guys it looks weird well according to what knowledge are you saying it looks weird and like D need your confidence to be honest well you know anybody can have the confidence it's it's straightforward it's life like if you walk if you go to a camp you're probably going to see two of the people you talked to in the past or an X big deal that's life that's just how it goes walking up to someone and saying hello I'm so and so to see if there's a fit isn't wrong to be honest means or TBH means to be honest mom like confidence is not something I can give you it's something you practice it's a uh consistent word track as long as you say yourself you don't have confidence you want have confidence but just talk to people be straightforward be honest and then if you don't have chemistry you don't have anything it's okay to just be their friend but this whole idea that if a guy walks up to a girl and says hello I'm David he's in love with her just came from the world yeah well I think uh the what you were saying with like the winner you through treat and stuff like that I feel like they're really trying to get people to date and I feel like that's more of a dating camp and not necessarily I think that it's completely wrong I just think like personally me I wouldn't participate in something like that like trying to like get to know somebody else and stuff like that I don't know if it's guy to guy or for it's girl to guy or how that works got to girl that's the point because people are and Sh people AR shs all the time conversations need to happen yeah they do that's they do and like in order to learn anything you got to have conversations conversations are not hard to learn just Google look up on YouTube how to have a conversation how to pick up on uh social cues how to pick up on uh conversational threads there's different things and it's really not that difficult and the idea that oh well I don't want I just don't have conversations with people is wrong you're not in love with someone if you want to have a conversation with them it's not it's a long go ahead sorry you got rejected enough or something like that or dumped enough bro they have got my job my job as a business development representative I get rejected by people probably 30 to 50 times a day not even kidding that's something different though you got it as far as people rejecting me when I go and try to talk to them very many times my entire life I've probably been to over 50 camps but you know what I've done got my head up and went on to the next because people that want to talk to Daniel Moyer will will talk to Daniel Moyer when he tries to talk to them or when he doesn't and people that don't want to talk to you won't talk to you but if you like don't want to talk at all or if you don't try to talk to people then you won't be able to talk to people because respect like when people say oh this Camp is a dating Camp is that supposed to be an insult of course it's a it's a camp to meet your wife because there's people like me who live three hours away from occur at dating camps lot of spiritual Ben from those camps for me they're not dating camps they're places to put a lot of people together that believe the same thing and try to start conversations and see what happens very many message couples have met at these camps oh they're just dating camps so they also camps where people have received the Holy Ghost a bunch of times Anonymous says how like if you want to meet somebody I mean the best place to do is camps I mean unless you're going to like some other person's Church a big church yeah which I don't go to a big one nether do you but um yeah definitely camps are probably the easiest way to meet people or uh I mean really even if you uh I don't it's the best way to do it but you can go through like Instagram or something like that I think you're better off just waiting and them KK says but don't spe but don't like specifically L search for yeah I agree KK you shouldn't go to the camp saying hey which girl am I going to talk to I think it more happens to you other than that um Noah says or Nate says your intentions at church camp shouldn't be to find a girl if it's God's will for you to meet and talk to a certain girl then yeah but that shouldn't be your first priority 100% agreed yeah K said just like chill and God will bring it all together yeah I agree and that's what I'm saying like when they bring people together to talk maybe you have a shy guy and a shy girl and they wouldn't talk to each other uh they wouldn't talk to each other regularly or um traditionally and what these games do is they put it to where you can't just be in your groups all the time you can actually talk to each other but I don't think you should go to a camp looking for a girl to talk to I think that's wrong you should go there with the intention of worshiping God and I believe that God will work stuff out and by putting these games together where you're actually able to talk to people you're not looking for a girl to talk to but what you're doing is you have your spirit and it's outside it's with you and when it contacts someone else's Spirit you see whether or not there's a real connection there for you just break people talking to regular people to be honest like for me like I go to camps and to be honest I'm not even looking for a girlfriend I don't I don't really care it'll we do care but it's not our main focus if let's see Benjamin Browning says I agree you go for the Lord but it's not a sin if you meet someone there that you end up talking to whatever the way I say I agree my mom says I met my husband at a park yep she met my dad at a park um why no podcast I completely agree with Nate I found my girlfriend when I was praying about moving churches and she went to the church God L me too oh interesting yeah well what I'm saying with these things is that people at camps tend to go to their youth groups and they don't venture out and makes talking to each other IMM possible and what these games do at these camps is and creates more possibilities for people to talk to each other but in no way should you go to a camp thinking oh well who am I going to talk to who I not by the is by the way everybody I'm not professional at dating or nothing like that please do not take any advice for me whatsoever so I'm not professional at any of this this just kind of my opinion I guess you could say so yeah just just to not be dating and you or end up with anyone if you listen to me see KK says what if you're shy well that's the point KK the what these games do is they put people together to actually be able to talk to each other in a a structured sense actually say another thing is make uh apples to bring more apples to apples to camps which that does people talking or question games we ask people questions about themselves or stuff like that so if you're shy it helps s sorry Daniel app app was a long game if you want a good game Uno Uno is a good game at camps seems like a lot of people play and stuff like that and it's more for the shy people seems like a lot of shy people like playing noo or something like that or D or charades or Bible trivia well you were there at last day at byc we were playing uh were you there for the trip Bible trivia where uh we had uh what is his name Randy Randy uh with he was playing with the phone uh it's like Bible trivia and you stick it above your head either way and we were just you're like the there like there was like 10 of us left heads up up there with doing Bible tribute and you stick it above your head a phone above your head and the other people try to uh tell you what it is without you knowing what it is and then you try to guess it and then if you get it right then you go like this or if you get it wrong you go like this or something like that I don't I forget so that's a good game if you want to get to know people or something like that but then you only have like one person up there that you trying to tell and stuff like that you Swit switch out the per people who will ever go next round or whatever I don't know cool where I was going with that but all good um yeah I think people should go right and when if they're shy I think I think um that you know shy people should uh try to venture I think everyone should try to venture a little out of the comfort zone at camps whatever the comfort zone is and um be straightforward be honest look up conversational skills and try to emulate them I think it's a good idea I I see it like this if you're shy I feel bad for you because man like that's the thing you have to have people that'll push you to get you out and go do things if you're shy because you're not going to do anything I feel like half the people I know that are shy they won't go out and actually talk to people and get a conversation going they're really bad at conversation holding um sorry KK says what if you're too shy to play the games um then that's what the games are for at these camps because like if I were to play a game I would have PE I would have the instructors pick out guys and girls from different churches close and age and the game is learn as much as you possibly can about the person whoever can write down the most details um the fastest then they go PA to pair and see who can say the fastest for memory or something like that and what it does is it scans for uh it scans for compatibility because there's a thing about a shy person because I've I uh you know we've been I've been to camps I talked to a lot of people also in in my work I've talked to a lot of different people and when it comes to shy people when they uh when they feel comfortable around you they actually have more to say than the extroverted people and what they say is a lot more interesting I've also found that shy people usually are artists they usually are like a poetry writers or songwriters and stuff too yeah I would I to be honest I wouldn't know any about being shy I'm pretty loud says I'm not shy asking for a friend I was I was wondering KK because you're not that shy um I'd say as far as the shy person if they're okay being shy great but if they don't want to be shy then I would look up online ways to get out of being shy and go out of your comfort zone and work on it maybe even get a job where where you're working with people more or KK you can also just drag them out into crowds and make them actually talk to people um I've seen that work sometimes I mean it's the more forceful way but it does work sometimes yeah I mean it's it's okay to be shy but I'd say if if a guy for instance you know I think any guy that is praying and maybe he bumps into a girl at the volleyball and they share a look with their eyes or whatever um he should you know just some research a little bit and see how she behaves next to her friend see if she's talkative she if she's shy and if she is shy you should wait until they're um at a quiet place and then ask them about something that's going on that's what these games provide you can ask them about musical chairs you can ask them about Apples to Apples or Uno or Checkers or chess or basketball or volleyball you can ask them about the activity that you're both doing and what that does is it makes it more socially easy for them to talk because you're not asking them about themselves because a lot of people especially girls who are shy are not shy because they don't have things to say they're shy because their best friends are really talkative and so they just end up like not saying much but they actually have a ton to say yeah I'm I'm not professional in any trust me so all these people don't take advice from me take it from David um I don't know all things I just have four sisters and they've given me a lot of great advice and I try my best with to try to move over my uh experience and talking to new people with uh from work to here because my job is to connect with people um uh KK says or because they don't know what to say or how well I would say practice so I would say uh I would say practice with your friends or um or um and you know I'm not a uh I'm not a professional with all this I'm just a guy doing a podcast saying my opinion I don't know all things I'm just saying what I think trying to help with talking to people because I do a lot of work but uh let's see it's because they're introverts which tend to do better oneon-one setad of in a group yeah I'd say if you want to talk to an introvert wait until they're in a group and just ask them questions so if you're a shy person you want to be less shy then figure out what you're the least comfortable in and practice it with a loved one so practice it with your loved one and have them pretend like you're a new you're a new person and just practice um you know I I've talked about things with people and explains things to people probably over a 100, times because of work and that and since from that practice by God's grace to be able to talk about things so can Daniel with cars and so can anybody else with anything else it's just practice so if anyone's really shy I would say identify within yourself do I want to stay shy or do I want to change and if you want to if you want to change then I would um I would prac that's what I would do sup Daniel and Miles um I mean sometimes you just gota you don't got much to lose if you're shy I would say like just walk into a random group of friends or whatever else that are hanging out and just introduce yourself I know it's really hard and all that but you don't got much to lose so what if they don't like you what are they going to say they're ain't going to say much they're not going to think about it very much so um yeah I don't know Noah says I'm a foot taller than most girls and can bench press their body weight and I'm shy that's how it goes I mean if I don't ever get married which I'm not too worried if I do or not I mean there's like two plans either I'm going to be like uh married or I'm going to be like the really cool uncle that has the all cool toys it's one of the other you know yeah agreed agreed I mean you know I think in their lives we should identify what what we want what we don't want and then you know work up the steps to uh get better with it or whatever else um but I think God works these things out and I think that you know God will work things out according to his own timing and all these different things of course gotta work out if he wants you to find a why or me anybody else watching the podcast can seem hopeless but we trust God he'll he'll work things out well you always can't always like some people are uh like yeah you can trust God and everything else but sometimes like you can't be shy leave church early and everything else and like uh not hang around people and expect to get somebody sometimes you have to go out and do something and that's how it's going to happen like you can't be like be at like let's say byc and go to the camp and be like oh I I want a girlfriend or oh I want a boyfriend or whatever else and stay in the dorm the whole entire time it's not going to happen I'm sorry to tell you you actually have to go out and talk to people I mean you're right it's balance between the uh the thought of oh well don't go out there looking for a girlfriend talk to every pretty girl you see and not talking to anybody at all you're you're exactly right you know just it will require some talking to people but I think that regardless of how talkative or how shy someone is God will line things up to help people and be able to talk to people yeah for sure like KK's Mom and Dad met on a a group chat online you know like I don't know 25 years ago or something or however long ago it was so God God works things out man God works out yeah well um I think I'm about to get off it's 11 o' so man yeah hope you had fun oh it's good conversation be on see you that was fun I like having because it can be difficult to walk up to new people and I know that it is but um any introvert can become an extrovert when they talking to people anybody can you just have to practice and uh and work at it and you can do very well but also you're shy you're made in the image of God it's exactly the way that God designed you and just have faith God will work it out uh Sharon says hey I'm also
