do you mean by number 63 where I go through some knock on live questions that came in and I'd like to talk about a little bit tonight because I always try to have a a topic or something to talk about rather and tonight I want to talk about who is allowed to have opinions and qualified to say things cuz some something that I hear an awful lot from people is oh I'm not qualified to talk about that I can't talk about that I I don't I don't know and I think that's dumb in my opinion what's up F Brian how's it going so um hopefully everybody's had an amazing day I will do my best to go on as I can need to get a haircut which is why I can only make it look like this with water um but thanks to the people live that tried to get me to get a beard because it's kind of cool and it's cheaper too cuz I don't have to constantly pay for uh razors and things like that but what do you mean by number 63 I've done 63 of these I have to contact by the IGA Fontaine by the Jack Duff so we shall see but I'll do my best all that I can do anyway hopefully everybody's having a uh a ton of fun and um hope everybody is having a great day um I'm going to pray and then I'll go right into these questions coolest kid I know it depends on what do you mean by cool I guess um cool I don't know the coolest kid I know I'm not sure probably my brother Thomas he is like awesome he's got a ton of guns pocket knives and World War I memorabilia and things like that he's got a A Kar from Spanish American or the Spanish Civil War super cool super awesome guy probably the coolest kid I know um probably be the coolest kid I guess it depend on how you define cool um cuz like for instance Thomas and His rooms are entirely different mine is all technology his is all um weapons and War it's pretty interesting fear my biggest fear I'd say is definitely being misunderstood and yeah being misunderstood because a lot of times people misunderstand me they think I'm whatever so my biggest fear being being would opinions about me and think certain things of me and don't want to tell me people have a bit of uh talking about me behind my back which is interesting but definitely my biggest fear be being another one hello Patrick Sanger and JJ welcome to the live let's see someone asked maybe you can explain this but what is the spoken word I've heard it all my life but still don't understand what it is is it different from the written word well I'm not super studied up on this but I can look up what brother Brown said about it because there's different ways of defining it and there's different ways of answering there's always different ways of answering any question that's ever asked I can look what brother the B said I got another question that came in I'll be right back someone ask for thoughts on the show stranger things I don't know I'm not sure what they mean by that question do they want to know what I think of it or if I've seen it or or if um it's a good show to watch or what I mean by good show you can get into some really big specifics on it I guess I don't know let's say spoken word r with spoken word 119 times because there's different ways of answering a question I can give you just a straight opinion or I can try to figure out what brother brandham said but I want to do things correctly there's a Spoke there's the aspect of defining Spoken Word by when Jesus by when you know God creates everything by a spoken word or there's the um Revelation 10:7 it says but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel when he shall be com to sound the mystery of God should be finished as he had declared unto his servants the prophets the key word there being voice so today in this age the spoken word was the voice of over the brandom to this age the spoken word there's also there's just different ways of defining it you could interchangeably say it with the written word and the spoken word but the B said both of it's sin to doubt either of those so I guess it just it just it just uh depends I guess it just depends let me see what bom said later on in the quotes I wonder what he said what was the last time I mentioned it I would ask your pastor for more truck in the mud or something strange like that that people in the South do so I don't I don't know but I love shooting guns and I'll vote for Trump when I can um but yeah what's up brother Joel and or daughter of God takes the word of God on their lips it's the same as deity speaking and a man fully surrendered to God it is is omnipotent so this message is not just preachers preachers are not just the only the only preachers and pastors and all that are not the only ones that are supposed to know about doct be able to talk about it this podcast is meant for people to talk about the things Benjamin Browning Brown welcome to the live how's it going Thomas cross hello so what am I talking about who is allowed to have opinions or qualified to say things in my opinion there's there are exceptions when it comes to like you know women correcting men they older them or stuff like that but like in a public podcast I don't believe anyone or any guy should have any problem with coming on and talking about the word of God oh people might use what I say against it or against what I say well then why not people have done that with me and they've showed me where I was wrong and what I do I apologized and I said I was wrong and you know what it didn't actually kill me to say I was wrong and then move along with my life so I believe it is wrong to say oh I can't talk about this I'm not qualified it's something different to say oh I'm I can't talk about this because I don't know that much about it or because I'm not as good as someone else but you can make that argument any with anything oh well I'm not I I can't post my guitar playing or my piano playing because I'm not as good as Tommy Emanuel or Yuma well yeah but you can where where are you going to stop with that argument in my opinion people not wanting to talk about the things of God it's just an excuse not to want to because they can say oh well I'm happy to talk about basketball or or uh football or you know how to get a girl to like you but I won't talk about the things of the message and the doctrines of the message what cuz like people might take what you're saying use against you what do you mean by that I'm I'd be curious of the actual Logistics of a situation where someone said you said this on a podcast and I think you're wrong because of this quote of the scripture why why would you care why this message is 100% thus sayeth the Lord and I don't believe any man should have any fear to say what he thinks is right why because if I say something and someone shows me a quote or I'm wrong will it hurt my ego yeah but I'm going to say I was wrong I'll do all that I can all that I can that's just the way that I'll do it and uh sorry people texting me but I believe that we should talk about the word of God and mean it and not be afraid of what people uh think of what we're going to say or not going to say or anything like that that's why people texting me asking me something I'll putay it back so I think it's completely wrong to say oh I'm not qualified so I can't talk about relationships or I'm not qualified I can't talk about the word of God just it's a copout in my opinion do I know all about everything no I don't but it's a podcast we talk on a podcast and the goal is to bring familiarity and to bring attention to the things that we just don't talk about for instance a lot of times it's preached look for character when you find a wife but no one talks about um look for a girl that you also think is Prett because it's just not talked about or it's talked about oh we live we we believe in the greatest message ever hit the face of the planet and we have the greatest pre and we have the the greatest tapes and no one ever and you know they do preach about it but sometimes it brings out like for instance a great Preacher Brother Andrew Glover he's an amazing preacher I think one of the best preachers in the world maybe ever now if I brought him on the podcast he's not going to be the same person that he is when he preaches he is the same person but but a different side of him will come out that no one gets to see and we'll you know talk about these things that matter the same thing with anyone else and any other thing to bring out value and to talk to people to respond to them and all these different things know I had a thought and I I'll be I'll just say it in your life life is a series of communication communication with parents with your friends with your perspective mates with your co-workers life is communication and in my opinion all life is sales you're either buying something or you're selling something and I have a question you we everyone should ask themselves do I want to be right or do I want to be effective do I want to be right or do I want to be effective you can be right all the time sure but you won't be effective what is your goal and discussion what's up Joseph how's it going God bless you Joseph Anda in any discussion there's two sides to it and you're discussing something and I believe that we should figure out what do we want out of it do we want to be right or do we want to be effective so what's the goal I'm trying to convince someone of something or I'm trying to change someone's mind maybe about a girl wearing pants or a guy wearing shorts or whatever I'm not going to tell them they're a loser I'm going to talk to them gracefully and uh subtly and wisely but I'm not going to I'm not going to uh just let them do whatever they want I believe that we should be try to be effective what's up Jeremiah cockman welcome to the live so you ask yourself this question do you want to be right or do you want to be effective because it's easy just to take the side of oh I'm right all the time and how do I know about this is because I have to keep myself from doing this but do you want to be right or do you want to be effective it's up to you do you want to tell everyone else not to be a bully or not to be this or that but be the person to always say they're wrong let's see Ivan rler asks or says with a wife it's do you want to be right or do you want to be happy be right you want to be happy well it depends what you mean by right because you know when we're growing up and when we're children we tend to think oh it's just a stupid argument I'm always right when you can need to recognize there's a bigger game being played in every social interaction you have and in every part of life there is a bigger game being played and I believe life is about recognizing the bigger game recognizing how to play it how to win it and how to in how to continue winning at it what is the meaning of life I think one of the meanings of life is find what your game is in life of course find Jesus number one and Define what you want out of life do you want to be in great shape do you want to make a bunch of money do you want to get married and have kids do you want to Career do you want to travel the world do you want to be a preacher do you want to be a singer do you want to be a songer do you want to be a a musician do you want to be a loser do you do you want to go to the Army do you want to go to the Marines Marines do you want to go to uh the Air Force do you want to be a plumber a doctor a lawyer an engineer an architect what do you want I believe that we should Define that in our minds and then if you really mean it do everything we can to do it to to to to obtain it if I could preach a sermon I'd preach a sermon on being dormant because if Satan can't get us to not go to church or to not get the Holy Ghost he'll try to get us to big dormant we have a testimony of we went to uh what's up Julie welcome to the live what's up Luke Jeremiah s will do everything he can to get us to a place where what's up sister lilan welcome to life s will do everything you can to make us to be stagnant to get us to be idle I once preached this sermon called the danger of idle time and the power of a madeup mind you have to make up your mind to what you are going to do what's up brother James Cinnabon welcome to the live how's it going you want like friend instance I heard a friend say oh I want to be more courageous that's what I really need well God's not just going to give it to you he's going to give you opportunities to be courageous you do not need to feel courageous in order to be courageous you do not need to feel confident in order to be confident what's up sophy welcome to the live so no matter what you're doing decide do you want to be right or do you want to be effective because it's easy to be right how do I know this because I battle this and I need to get better at it but if I I want to really change someone's mind because I once ask someone the question of how do you change someone's mind and I would say a way of doing that is no matter how terribly they treat you no matter how mean they are to you show nothing but love to them and go the extra mile to be really really really nice to them and whenever they disagree with you instead of saying you're wrong you're wrong you say that's interesting so and so golly I really got to put thought into it but my my f my pastor preached um the other day on the world is up a world turned upside down because in the world every argument that's ever had each side doesn't listen to the other they just think of what they're going to say next and there is no such thing as trying to find a compromise it's just like either you're all the way wrong and I'm all the way right EI either you're wrong or I'm just going to fight you physically or whatever else but be effective I think we should all have like I don't like Andrew Tate very much I don't like what he stand for I respect him in some areas but not many but I do like what he said he said if you really don't can't take a he said what you really should do is take a look back on your life and think what am I doing with my life and how am I doing it and am I doing it with the most effective technique I can and if I am great if I'm not I need to change it or I need to stop lying to myself and I agree with him whatever you're doing do your best if you're going to be a loser be the best loser there ever was if you're going to be a winner win whenever I rais my kids I'm not I do not believe it all in the nonsense of oh well every child is a winner and it's not about winning it's about having fun yeah you know who says that people who lose I have never met anyone who was good at sports meaning that they won consistently who said it isn't about winning it's about having fun what a load of garbage sports are about winning life is about winning and the only people that say oh it's not about winning are the people who lose my kids aren't going to be losers they're going to be winners and also you got recognize what is winning in sports it's very easy there the scoreboard or whatever else but in life it's not always being right sometimes it's in being patient sometimes it's in saying you know what so and so maybe you're right I don't know I'm not sted up on this would you give me some time to pray about that and think about it it would blow people's minds If instead of every time anyone ever thinks you're wrong about something or you think someone else is wrong then you just like bicker at each other you think think you know what Dad that's interesting you know what Mom you know what sister you know what brother you know what cousin you know what person that's really interesting would you give me a few days to think about that and pray about that cuz maybe I'm wrong and it wouldn't actually kill you or if you're discussing something with someone it wouldn't actually kill you to say you know what that's a really good point maybe I could consider that brother brandham said I'd rather be wrong in my Doctrine and right in my spirit than to be right in my Doctrine or wrong in my spirit it doesn't matter how right you are if you're a bully it doesn't matter how right you are if you're not effective you got to be effective in this life um Ivan R says I'm sitting at a store in town while I be joining tonight or not not to be pushing you're fine Ivan um check your upload speed and see how fast it is um let me Google how fast let's see how fast should my upload speed before Instagram live okay all right you should be able to let's see okay if you're getting 20 to 25 megabytes a second upload speed then you can join Ian but anything 10 or below you can't join because it's just not usable just messes up the whole thing not that I I would love to have you on but it just won't work if it's anything less than uh I'd say 20 megabytes a second upload speed what's up sister Caitlyn Barett welcome to the live how you doing so the question tonight that I've asked is two questions who has the right to have opinions about the message or qualified to say things and do you want to be right or do you want to be effective arguments with siblings do you want to be right or do you want to be effective cuz it's easy just to argue the point but if you can recognize the bigger game being played you can win and the guy that's done that my whole life or had to try to not do that my whole life what do you want out life figure it out and then do your best to get it that's what I think it's a strange thing to say but you know I've had people say ask like oh do you witness to your worldly friends oh well I just live a life and I uh I just I just set it forth an example I wonder if we're saying that because that's what we mean or if really what we mean is we don't know how to witness because a lot of people assume that the witnessing is telling people all about the message there's a saying we have in sales it's telling isn't selling telling someone about the message is not going to sell it to them living it is and asking questions is you can live it and they'll ask you about it maybe show them a tape but you can also ask them questions if I want you to buy the new phone I can tell you about the Galaxy s24 Ultra coming out the 200 megapixel camera the 100 times Zoom 12 GB of ddr5 RAM and the snaptrack Snapdragon 8 gen 3 processor is going to have with probably ddr5 or ddr6 Ram no one at all other than the Nerds on this chat know what I just said but if I wanted to sell you on new Galaxy s24 Ultra that's not how I would do it I would ask you questions because you could be thinking about uh beach balls on the beach or playing volleyball while I was telling you about those specs but if I said hey what kind of hey how are you doing today you'd say well I'm good and then I'd say what kind of phone do you have oh well I have this old Galaxy sa oh how long have you had it how do you like it what are your pictures like what do you do when your phone gets really hot when you're charging it or how long does your battery last or uh how much space do you have on your phone or what do you do when you're out of storage those are questions related to pain points what are you doing talking about that sales stuff David and when you're trying to witness to someone and you want to be effective don't tell them all about how amazing the messages that's one part of it but begin it with a question with a friend you ask them a question you say hey where do you go to church where do you go to church what do you believe do you believe that religion is just a random thing that doesn't matter or do you what do you think is more important a relationship ship or religion you will be more effective witnessing by having the other person talk I'd say a good 60 to 80% of the time then you would if you talked 60 to 80% of the time because I think you can talk pretty effectively and you can really sell it and make your toneal perfect in the way that you say something you know I was actually at a I was actually listening to a guy called um Charisma Matrix there's a Charisma on command on YouTube than this Charisma Matrix and the guy said that there was a social experiment where there was a guy sitting at a table and he had a box in front of him or a box drawn out on the ground with chalk and when people were walking by it was like a social experiment where he said hey get out of my box get out of my box get out of my box please get out of my box and no one knew what he was saying and he was pointing at the Box the Box Drew in the ground but they walked right through it they didn't care so when he was saying with that tone not like that get out of my box and then when he changed his tonality to actually something that will make something happened he said hey get out of my box get out of my box people walked around the box that he had drawn on the on the pavement or on the uh concrete ground they walked around the box when he said hey get out of my box and so when I was at Chipotle uh before in youth treat I wanted them to add another serving of meat because triple meat why not um and I said hey can you add carne aada to the meat to the uh Bowl please I didn't know that you guys had carneada and they're like what and it said can you add carneada to my thing please right there and they immediately did it why because that is a technique it's a social thing and in a social situation people aren't listening to you say deepen your voice and say things directly but when it comes to the message and when we're trying to be successful what I just did is I showed you the example of a of a technique you can use in order to be successful in communication but when it comes to witnessing the message I believe that the most effective way there are two things living the message and asking questions asking leading questions if I ask you if I ask you the question of do you think religion is right or not you can say yes or no but if I say what do you think of religion versus a relationship or if I ask should you have a relationship what do you think is more important relationship or religion or if I ask what do you think about relationship ship versus religion it's an open-ended question that's witnessing you get them talking because you can't witness to someone unless you know where they're at I can't I I can't sell you the new s24 Ultra when it comes out in a couple months unless I know what phone you have how long you've had it what carry you have how much you PID how much you pay every month um how many people you have in the account whether or not you have insurance what phone case you have how long you've had that phone case what charge you you use what you use your phone for how much storage you have on your phone what your name is where you're from if I don't know all of those things I can't sell you the new phone not if you don't know where someone's at with with the message you can't really sell it to them you know what the easiest possible thing of doing is never mentioning the message to the to your worldly friends ever oh I just love it that can be the right answer sometimes but I think a lot of times it's just an excuse because you actually don't know what you believe that's what I think is that always the case no but sometimes it is I believe that if you can't tell me why brother brandham is a prophet with uh with something other than Malachi 4:5 and Revelation 10:7 you're not where you should be with God maybe you should be able to tell me why other than the cliche easy answer if Satan can't get us to not believe the message he'll get us to be Idol within the message he'll get us to be lukewarm that's what he wants us to be lukewarm to act like we really actually don't care about all these different doctrines yeah we're in the greatest message ever but you know doesn't matter best message ever we actually don't need to steady or anything because you know best message of all time we keep be no more lost than God himself is lost great and what happens is we just live carnal lives like the rest of the world the only difference between them and us is that we uh we go to church twice a week and we dress modestly I would wonder about the you know the gentleman of the message do we believe the message because we believe it or do we believe it because our parents will be pleased and we get free rent same for girls so do you want to be right or do you want to be effective you can be as right as you want but knowledge will never beat wisdom being effective is more important than being right what do you want you want to just be right all the time you won't get anywhere you going to be a stickler you won't get anywhere but I want to be effective that's what I want with life and as far as who is allowed to have opinions or qualified to say things in the message everybody is as long as it lines up with the message in the Bible it's true and I think that even if someone fears that what they're saying isn't right or if they say oh I need more courage I need more confidence I don't have confidence like you do David you guys think I just I I came out of the womb like this no I don't even think I'm that confident I Am Not Great by God's grace I've just I've literally been in sales for almost 5 years I've worked with the public my whole life I've had over a 100,000 different social interactions I've done this is the 63rd live I've done number 63 which means I put over I put almost I've done almost 200 hours of these lives probably something like that so it's up to you what do you want out of life what do you want because if you the person always tries to be right all the time you won't really get anywhere it's not going to be effective if you feel depressed what if you tell me oh David I feel depressed what should I do clean your room make it beautiful make it amazing like I am about 6 70% 75% of the way CLE done clean my room and I didn't just clean my room I reorganized everything I'm going to make it as amazing as I can we were in a war 24/7 and the real war wasn't deciding whether or not to get baptized get the Holy Ghost the real war is what happens after you decide that that's the real war the real war is to turn us into a bunch of social media addicts that don't really ever study the word of God the way that we're supposed to that's the real thing the real war is to get us to be stagnant and get us to abandon every standard where we ever taught to make the value of Our Lives carnal oh oh I can wear a skirt that barely goes below my knees oh I can wear shorts if I'm a guy all I want to oh well I can rebel against the message it'll really do good for me this message is not a set of rules it's the rules are just what you do when you believe it and it produces something do you want to be right or do you want to be effective it's up to you because I know all sorts of people listen to this podcast the people that believe in the message the people that don't people that left it and things like that someone could ask oh are am I are you really happier from leaving the message or were your lusts just F fulfilled really were you just able to do the things you were never allowed to do because I don't believe people do um people don't try to make a case for gambling or lust or for sleeping around or for sinning and then and go and do it no they go and do it and then they try to defend it because they wanted to do it all along that's what the world is but I'm thankful to be in the message and I'm thankful that God has led me to do these podcasts you know the critics that that would try to join all the time and criticize me fun I like to play the um the three minute Blitz chess it's a ton of fun and um it's always interesting that because I'll I'll blunder my queen or I'll blunder a really good move or something like that or I'll do great it's an interesting game but you know how I could do way better and get my game and get my my chess game to go way up is if I'd stop playing the 3 minute Blitz all the time and play the 15minute rapid in other words I would do way better if I just slowed down and took my time and played a slower game and I hate saying that because I don't like taking my time that's not me me by buying me piano and so I've just learned and expanded my talent range I can play a bunch of different instruments okay if I wanted to learn what would I need to do I don't I don't know how how to play the piano get a more qualified teacher than me well get get a teacher get a teacher um go God gave me the talent so what I do is I play by ear which basically I can hear something and after a couple tries I can um forgive me I'm losing my train of thought um I play by ear so I can hear it and then I can practically play it if I actually play um play piano by ear yeah that's what what I just said yeah I play by ear like brother Kenny schlak um he was the piano player there at Camp um and I just get tips from all kinds of piano players on what I can do here and there and I can listen to them playing and then I can pick up chords and notes and riffs and all that kind of stuff awesome I can I can kind of do that on any instrument but it's a lot easier on the piano because I'm the um main pianist in my church so only pianist in my church oh cool how many musicians do you have I have me a bass player and acoustic guitar player that's it so do what can you play the bass guitar too
