out so yeah well how do how do I know who you are uh we met camp we were roommates among three three other guys too yeah that's just going to be a distraction so we're going to turn that off I got my tablet out so oh cool whatever maybe look at comments do what I got my MacBook yeah I got my MacBook here yes so I met you at uh wi tree everyone else myor I knew for a long time you were the only one I didn't know but I just gave you some garbage about your hair and your glasses and your last name name much all the things about you we became friends so it was it was good so like is like is life easier or worse uh for gingers see as I've always been redhead AKA Ginger I wouldn't know anybody anyway else I get I get the normal rler at school and that's about it rler your last name is literally rizzler like that's awesome it's really it's it's really not but sure it's really not all right so what's up sister moved over to a more serious thing um during the message uh were you born the raised of the message or what yeah I was yeah I was always yeah I was born in and we switched churches a couple times but yeah we're going about an hour and a half away drive to church now on regular basis and so yeah do what T so far in hour and a half wow it's just kind of our home church I don't know we used to go to a church that was about half an hour away and they split up and so yeah we decided to go down instead of up wow well it's like the thing so why why why do you stay in the message why don't you join the uh the world popular and everything else what what keeps you in the message I really don't want to burn so just to be perf just perfectly going to hell or what like what keeps you in the message why why why this message God doesn't make amazing stuff for me and if I'm going to be serving God I want to be doing it the right way and that's the um message that I'm in not these denominational churches not to strike up World War I anything but non- denominational um yeah yeah God's amazing to me so I've he's proven himself multiple times yeah all right tell us about one of those times well um one of those times other youth camps um is just from uh winter youth retreat um all these youth camps I've gone to I've never really had God speak to me other than the still small voice inside but at this Youth Camp um I'm usually I'm not the one that raises his hands and jumps and shouts and goes up to the altar per se I've done it before but I'm not really that type I'm like Worship in my seat kind of thing and so I just sat down from the singing and just in my seat just prayed there and I came to that camp always struggling with Satan telling me no you're not for forgiven God says in the Bible that you are forgiven of your sins of anything that you do but I've always had that problem where I don't always feel completely forgiven so at this Camp I was just praying Lord forgive me for everything clear my mind help me have a fresh start and the moment I said Lord forgive me the second that I said that us the song verse started there's forgiveness at the cross like less than one second after I said Lord forgive me and to most people it may seem and it's just coincidence but to me it was completely real and yeah I don't have that guilt fear of not being forgiven anymore it's completely wiped away feel free it's light happy there you go that's life awesome BL that's great man it's really good all right so um music I you I you grabbed you grabbed your tablet you grabbed my tablet you're playing music in our da it's awesome what do you play that was fun do what what do you play for music I play by ears so pretty much anything I can pick up um just in my room I've got electric guitar acoustic a mandolin a bass got a piano in the living room um I kind of around with the Oregon um but not really but yeah my posted duty is at the piano at church every Sunday so yeah but um can you in the piano or something do what what can you you show us something cool in one of the instruments that you do or show us you're playing not really right now but let's see here um I'm really not a soloist on the uh guitar BR I watch I watched you grab my tablet and and play a and play stuff like you've been playing for a long long time 2:30 um the guitar is different the guitar's different but yeah I don't know let's see here I don't know how long it's been since this thing has been tuned dirty whatever um I I don't have any I play my style of playing on the guitar or mandolin is to play with a band I really can't solo to be perfectly honest really can't solo on a guitar okay sorry but really can't um same with a bass okay piano yeah my strong suit so you the um let's see Sam Smith says come on stord yeah oh let's see iuck can get the angle can I click into this can I do with this camera I've never done a live stream or been a part of any live so this is all brand new to me ah this is not tuned it's going to sound great um can I do this no de dorm is like maybe one of the coolest parts of the whole Camp there's nothing as cool as goofing off two o'clock in the morning it's just amazing like if I if I have to do any more guitar I will go get my other one because I have two so that was my not so guar why do you have two guitars CU I found this Keith Urban limited edition um guitar at a sale for like 25 bucks 25 it's it's number it's number 10,922 of 21,000 of these guitars made limited edition huh have you looked it up online to it or something like that maybe yeah somebody's texting me I yeah okay sure uh what do you want what's it worth it's around a three or $400 guitar but the problem is it's got some pretty bad issues it's got some breaks and cracks and chips and stuff in the paint yeah it's it's got some minor issues that need to be attended to before it needs to be sold so yeah and it's electric too so all I have to do is take my other guitar and plug in the battery port and it all works to tuning and base treble whatever yeah okay yeah perfect so are you better at the at the piano or the guitar piano the way I play it every Sunday at church so yeah the main piano I'm The Pianist yes there's no one else in the church that plays piano so yeah all on me um we have a guitarist guitar and a bass and occasionally an organ oh yeah that's that's it I wonder I wonder only a you ask for so yeah okay oh no please don't connect all right any other questions um I don't know what uh let's see what what do you think the purpose of your life is to with an easy one of course um I gave me uh this for playing music so I'm going to play it for his that's that's my purpose I believe strongly believe that so G to pursue that sorry the connection's kind of bad can't really hear you great right what up Thomas crosswalk says howdy David good to see you hello Thomas what's up um all right all right I can ask you this one um Ivan do what do you think about hobbies for message kids do you think one hobby is better than another do you think one is worse than another or is it all objective or subjective rather what do you think as long as the hobby is in some way eding um it the Bible says avoid all appearance of evil so stick to that and I don't think anyone's better than the other um if like it's almost um a hobby playing all these instruments in a way it's I love doing it um and so maybe if that's God's Will and it turns into hobby or whatever of hobby cars and stuff that's what I think of hobbies but avoid evil so any hobby that falls under that that doesn't I don't know that's going to probably a lot of people maybe so any any hobby that sorry you cut out a little bit look like robot but any hobby that you said any hob any hobby that has an appearance of evil is wrong or or what what exactly do you mean about that man that's that's a that's a really good question um any any hobby you can have any hobby that you want but make sure it doesn't look like something wrong or appears as evil something that how would you define something that looks wrong or evil yeah now you're cutting out geez great connection how would you define something that looks wrong or evil a really good question I got to think too long to do that um I don't know that's that's P Ponder on for a time don't have that time about different Hobbies he talked about you know the hobby of like uh working like making metal leather jackets or shooting or hunting or fishing or or anything else in my opinion movies TV shows and video games get picked on more than all the other hobbies and they're not worse than any other hobby any hobby can be used against you any of them you could uh play your PlayStation 5 too much you could go hiking too much uh you could watch the wrong kind of movies you could watch their kind TSH whatever and like any of them in my opinion but it seems like for some reason movies TV shows and by the way I don't even play video games like almost ever but like they seem to get picked on more than everything else and in my opinion part of that is because of the generational Gap or like the generational thing where people are just used to seeing uh sorry what wow there's such you're like a a 1920s there's like a 1920s TV I can't hardly see you same same it's great great connection do you have fast internet where you are no oh I have like 1,000 download 1,000 upload where I am yeah I got about two bars of Internet you got about what I got about two three bars of Internet that's all all I got okay cool okay my internet's really slow here I live in a so pry bad okay feeling this live stream's gonna go great oh you're fine every time as always have fun with but um what do you think do you think you think like movies and TV show video movies TV shows and video games are so bad no one should ever watch or play them right it has just came across my mind that thinking about it there are some hobbies that like watching movies and um playing video games Satan can re those to steer you away like yeah seeing your eyes there's movie games that are not necessarily go and Satan can steer a person's mind to think it's only a movie it's only video game it's not going to hurt me that much it's not really matter that it's that ungodly or whatever and Satan can use that against you um and and use that to steer you away from God quicker than you can even imagine um I've I have especially music it's been proven that music that you listen to is a big part of your mood and and there's a whole psychological study to go into that but whatever um but music and video games and that kind of stuff is not really in Hobbies but it's stuff you do in your free time Satan can really use that to steer you away and I've noticed it in my life some of the music I listen to is questionable and I've seen how my actions my attitude my mood changes when I listen to that and watch that and play that so I don't know video games is a hobby just keep it clean and avoid the appearance of evil interesting how would you define an appearance of evil because you can get really legalistic with that really fast say that first part again how how would you define an appearance of evil because you can get very legalistic with that very fast you can say don't go to Walmart don't even leave your home appearance of evil right well if you're for most people you are the only Bible that they're going to read your actions your lifestyle is going to make an impact on them um so going to the store is just fine just your actions everything about you needs to be Godly because like I said you are the only Bible that most people are ever going to read sadly so yeah I don't know um the appearance of evil just I it's hard to explain but in my opinion there isn't a there isn't a hardfest rule for literally everyone because some people don't want to wear long don't want to wear short sleeves because that's a personal conviction that they have I'm of the opinion that um everyone is different and everyone has different Hobbies some people can watch a bunch of movies TV video game nothing happens to them other people if they were to play any video games they would get addicted to them and they can't stop so it uh exactly I'd say it just depends on who you are I don't think there's any hobby that's inherently worse than anyone else is is fishing wrong no can it be can you do it in the wrong places with the wrong people at the wrong times yeah there watching movie wrong no it depends on the content the context the environment in which you're watching it's all how you do it and I and like for some reason that's why I say movies TV shows video games they all get picked on more than anything else and this it's just not correct anything could be used against you the pride that people have sometimes from let's say eating healthy or um not watching a movie or TV shows or video games whatever it's often worse than the doing of those things in the first place um but in my opinion all hobbies are the same you have to control them you have to um this Thomas cross says can you explain the adoption Series in five minutes no no I can't I listened to the adoption series a while back now I can tell you in adoption number two brother brandham said how in the name of the good word of God could you ever Place Jesus being a separate person from God I can tell you that but um can't explain the adoption Series in five minutes i't listened to him recently can you explain the adoption Series in five minutes uh Ivan I I haven't I haven't listened to no I have listen them a few times that was a long time ago though they're very good very good but I would you know I wouldn't want to explain them in five minutes I would want to take a four do a four-part seron series on like brother brandom did if I ever was going to and then after when I was older cuz I'm just a young preacher yeah I haven't listened the near as many um brother brandom messages as I'd like to and I'm working on that every time I lay down I put a sermon on okay all right what about public school you get to go to public school and homeschool which do you think people should go to public school to say homeschool what do do you think about that as the Hobbies of keeping it clean and appearance of stay away the appearance survival um it depends on the person um going I was homeschooled through seventh grade and then I went to a private school for two years and then I went to public school yeah when I went to the private school was culture shock major time because up to seventh grade I had no friends I was only child uh me and my mom home and drove my mom partially insane that's why we switch schools but it really depends on the person um I've know noticed from the point that I was in home school to private school my demeanor some of my actions became more to the worldly side I kind of picked up on stuff um answer that one um and from moving from private school to public school some of my demeanor some of my actions I really didn't like it and so I've really started trying to be careful because when I'm at school it I don't know kind of a different person sly because I try my problem is I try to fit in sometimes and try to stand out other times and it's yeah I don't know it depends on the type of person you are because yeah I didn't do my work most of the time at home and public school and private school you had to get it done so and you were on a timer basically so I don't know for me public school is better because I have more friends it allows me to m a little bit not necessarily in the way I want to but I don't know I still count myself probably because I was lived under a rock as people say um at home I I've see myself as a bit more immature than everybody else my age because I was raised the way I was but some ways that's good some ways that's bad but I don't know it really depends on the person like everything else you're unique so interesting interesting what uh homeschooling program did you do we changed back from a lot of different ones right at the end seventh grade uh we rented out of Pensacola Florida um it was always Christian based to stuff um I don't remember all the different subjects but yeah it was always Christian based to Christian view but that was expensive really expensive but I'm I'm happy that I got that experience of homeschool and did my early years that way because I've heard of other younger kids going through Elementary School uh Middle School it sounds really rough really rough so I'm happy my parents homeschooled me I think good for you still are you still in school I have I start school back on Thursday and it's my last semester I'm a senior at high school so yay yay very cool how do you balance having worldly friends and being message believer H how do you how do you do that balance it um I'll just say this right up front I'm not a model message believer I I'm still working on I don't read my Bible every day um I don't actually devote 15 minutes 30 minutes every single day to just praying besides before we eat I'm terrible at that so I'm not the model here's what I do follow me kind of thing but I just I try to be a Christian as much as I possibly can to the best of my ability in school and I'm not the one that that's going to go out there and witness to people I it's not me and I need to work on that to be more me um but I try to do the thing where see how I'm living do what what what do you think would make you said a model message citizen what would make a a quote unquote model message citizen exactly you seem to compare yourself to they devot um 30 minutes to an hour maybe more um just reading their Bible they wake up and they do exactly what God asked them to do to a te yes you're going to have hiccups when you're following God but you devote your time to God you devote your time to reading the Bible and you live the life as close as you can but I don't know that's what I'm comparing myself to you you read your Bible every day you pray amount well well okay what about so are you saying that if you spend a certain amount of time praying or reading your Bible or whatever then you're a mod model message citizen what what what do you mean by model message does that mean that you're more holy or more righteous or closer to God because you do these mundane things or what do you mean by a model message citizen what does that mean you do asked you who the world that's ever existed has done everything God ever asked them please tell me other than Jesus Christ you live as close as you possibly can to doing all the things that God asked you to do reading your Bible and praying and devoting your time to that and trying to live closer and closer and closer to him and every person is different every person is unique Bible says God comes to those who have who have a broken and contrate spirit and mo a model message citizen a model message citizens attitude is what I would want I would want people to have the same attitude you do because honestly man you have these things in your brain telling you you're not enough like you showed more humility in about 45 seconds than I've seen from a lot of people that are adults claiming to be in the message so you're you're humble and you're saying I'm not enough I wish I spent more time with God I wish I did this I wish I did that that is Mo model message citizen behavior and I don't think there is such thing as mod model message citizen that's dumb to compare ourselves to that but God wants us to try and like it's a it's a myth that you'll get to a certain place and then you'll feel dedicated you're a son of God Satan's going to attack you with everything he's got he's going to make you feel worthless with everything he's got and that thing in you that says I'm not spending enough time with God I want to spend more I'm not dedicated as much as I could be I could spend more time with him I could do this better I could do that better that's God reaching out to you and that proves that you have something because if you thought you were all good or you never were vulnerable because I've had people on the podcast that didn't show any vulnerability but instead spent their time trying to line everyone else out you should a lot of vulnerability and and humility that's character and you should be and and uh I admire that so good goodness sakes alive guys like there is no such thing as model citizen Behavior because in my in my experience of 23 years ago in a church my father's the pastor I've been preaching for over six and a half years backup song leader for 15 years full-time song leader for five years the most cons the the least consistent people in church are the ones that are the loudest and the most flamboyant but the most consistent ones are the most humble ones Satan's entire goal the brother Lindsay McGrady told me this Satan's entire goal is to make you feel unworthy but it's nothing in this message when it comes to worthiness or being saved is about our own righteousness or our own works it's about what Jesus did because brother B said if there's anything I could do within myself to Merit anything in the presence of Christ then Christ died in vain no legalistic ideas of yours no lawke keeping no amount of not going to the picture shows you could quit cying quit stealing none of it would Merit anything in the presence of God so Satan's trying to get you your mind thinking oh I'm not this I'm not that that's just God trying to get you to spend more time with him but in no way is it going to make you inherent more of heaven when you met God his conditions you could be no more lost and God himself could be lost and God's maturing that relationship as he wants to but you're you're the main piano player at your church you join a public podcast where th there will be probably over a thousand views on this and you spent that time not virtue signaling not attacking me but being vulnerable and humble that says more about your character than spending an extra 45 25 minutes a day reading a Bible because it doesn't matter how much you read your Bible if the author never comes in and it's very clear to me that the author is part of your life from what you said so there you go thank you thank you very yeah yeah of course man and you know how I know that that because that's the same way Satan attacks me too and a bunch of other people so you're in good hands man you're you're in good company you're trying that's the whole point what is the message one of the things the message is is we is we didn't post after we got the Holy Ghost we still want to keep on getting closer to God we don't stop getting closer to God after we get baptized we get more and more we get better and better and and the moment that you think I am a metal mon metal or I am the um a uh model m a citizen I have the greatest things I am a big name I'm popular and I'm where God wants me to be and I couldn't get any closer to God that's when you've gone wrong but when you're still for more of God you're in the right place so please man don't listen to the devil telling you all that rubbish you're a Son of God I mean you're Ginger but you are a son of [Laughter] God um um somebody asked in the comments earlier just throw it out there um Arkansas where I live I don't know who asked that somebody asked where I live Joe yeah asked I thought of uh we tree I thought it was awesome thought it was a ton of fun um I had the best roommates in the whole Camp it was awesome the that was my first you um so I'm yeah I even met a ginger at Camp it was great I'm I'm confused because there's a I'm try focus on I'm thinking there it'll be just
