welcome to what do you mean by number 53 where I go through worst thing I got in trouble before growing up and do I think I've caused drama of course not you know why is my beard doing this whatever it's fine what's up brother Michael her got bu you God bless you everybody Welcome to the live tonight hope everybody's having an awesome day I'm having a good day by God grace I would have started earlier except um my car got a flat and I walked about A4 mile to a Way Station um and talked to a a state trooper and he uh helped me he helped me get everything set up um he had to give me a pat down and tell me to take stuff out of my pockets he's like do you have any weapons I'm like no on me but I got a booty knife in my car he's like fine that's fine I'll just pat you down got my driver's license and I got to ride in the back of a police car for the first time I told him it's funny cuz I think all state troopers or most of them have a certain kind of uh personality because cuz I told him like this is I've never been in the back of a police carard before he didn't say anything so um it was great like I don't think he got my joke maybe he thought I was just kidding I mean I did I I don't know it was it was fun though I uh I enjoyed it um I what happened is is that I had a spare tire Mr newart they had a spare tire and it had um the the thing to the Jack but didn't have the tire iron so I had to get that from them we able to get set up by God's grace and I got like 45 to 50 m a gallon on the way home so that's awesome um so very cool we're able to get home it's all set up what's up sister Melissa Winters what's up everybody Welcome to the live otherwise I would have started earlier I was on Pace to get started about 9 8:30 something like that but I got a flat tire and to uh get that all set up but I am here now hopefully everybody had a fun day I only have like two questions for they not going to lie but I think I'll have a lot of uh content I think I'll just go for an hour depending um we shall see Lord willing it's been fun I'm sure a lot of you saw or most of you saw the stuff I said in my story earlier which I thought was pretty interesting um I'm going to go ahead and pray and we'll go right into the stuff guys gracious heavenly father thank you for this day thank you for the lives that you led me to and platform that you've created press my arm hope to help it to heal fast and bless the people on the live wherever they are hope it to be a spiritually edifying time and uh be with that office to help me uh with the car Jesus name name of the he was really upset I got I got punished majorly oh oh yeah okay another time when I got in big trouble was when I was 17 and I uh I was holding hands with a girl I was talking to and I got caught and uh my dad made me do house maybe do like uh a work in the yard it was great it was pretty cool always fun now as far as the uh holding hands controversy pastors do it differently but I would say that what's up Alicia what's up Aubrey JJ welcome to live uh someone asked do you someone says do you think you've caused Drama Oh no of course not yeah of course I have um say what is the definition of drama I am curious the definition of drama is a play for theater radio or television an exciting emotional or unexpected series of offense or circumstance another one is a let's see a person who often has exaggerated or overly emotional reactions to events or situations interesting the proper meaning of drama according to Mary and web is to come to think or judge consider deemed that's a weird definition interesting well do you think there's always a hidden not a hidden but let's see there there's the uh meta conversation let's say I learned that in my last job it's a good job and The Meta conversation is what you say without saying it it's it's a the conversation that goes on non-verbally because a lot of communication is nonverbal it's through tonality it is through eye contact uh body language things like that and when someone asks questions a lot of the time not every time but a lot of the time I can get what this person saying you know without them actually saying which then when they're saying do you think you've caused drama which they're trying to say is you've caused a bunch of drama on these lives you shouldn't do them etc etc and to that I would you know I think brother Trevor Eman answers a lot of questions with questions and Jesus did too so I think it's okay that I did too I would ask the question such as do you think brother brandom caused drama do you think uh but the Barry coffee brother Andrew Glover or um or any uh any question ever or any person has ever done anything for God or try to you think they've caused drama of course they did Elijah caused so much drama the queen tried to get him killed so let's see Eli cross would someone ask question questions the best answer is ask your pastor yeah well brother brandom you know actually I considered making it one of the questions for the next cahoot which will be tomorrow night by the way where brother brandham said ask your pastor which brother B said ask your pastor I think it was 18 times oh it was close 15 times I remember things in my head like I remember brother brandham said Jesus was God 32 times he said Jesus Is God seven times and he said Jesus wasn't God once and his next part of his sentence was Jesus Jesus wasn't God but he was God and brother brandham said ask your pastor 15 times so ask your pastor something that I do to try to be wise because my dad is a pastor and I've dealt with him trying to deal with the drama and the things that happen when people ask questions of younger preachers and then they answer and get into business they really shouldn't get into and then it causes a lot of uh unwanted and un unnecessary drama that's just not wise for for anybody to do so ask your pastor is not a cop out it is some it is me trying to be wise as a preacher and if that people get mad at me for that then I I would very much like to know what Spirit they're LED of um you know it's always interesting to me when before I say that Ash Vin I forgot his full name but it's his his username on uh Instagram is ashin ASV I NH H and he said that we don't use our voice we should play our voice because you don't use a piano you play a piano so it should be the same thing of your voice you don't just say things you know use your voice you say things and you play your voice everything you say and every tonality that you use I think should be on purpose I believe that we should try to act in the way that Jesus would act all the time whether it's on a basketball court in a grocery store alone in your room or wherever else that you are I believe that that's true and one of the elements yes there's a meme that says oh well Jesus uh flipped tables and whipped people yeah he did he also died for all of mankind so people like to criticize my lives the lives that we do I wouldn't say my lives I everybody's these these don't exist without you guys what I would say is is that I'm just fine with someone uh looking good D but thank you Joseph feeling good thank you I appreciate it um I'm fine with someone criticizing as long as they also point out the positives and say that's really good uh Eli CR says was I the guy in your dream no you weren't I don't I don't I don't remember the face of the person of the people actually but um we should do all the different types we should be corrective of course and we should be loving as well we want to be effective we want to be effective I've had several people critique my lives and that's fine but you know what makes me respect someone and change when they come in a loving and respectful way that's the way that changes that's thing that's something that actually gets things done what was the dream I had the dream last night I dreamed that I was at some kind of a youth event and then when I went outside it was the parking lot of my local Walmart for some reason and a group of kids came up to me I think they were like 18 maybe a little old a little younger than me they came up to me and they had this folder or this this uh like 10 papers staple together and they told me and they um wait to stay for drinking water Yes actually um in Taylor Arkansas brother Ron Harpers he had a one of the ladies in this congregation does idology and she scanned my eyes and told me that my kidneys are under a lot of uh strain from all the diet sodas and I should go to water and it'll help me feel better and um hydrate me more and things like that so very cool so I'm trying doing my best doing my best so the dream was go these kids these kids walked up to me with a sheet of paper and they said and they said hey we want to show you something then they showed me on their phone a uh a video recording of one of the first lives that I ever did which isn't posted because I did some things that were unwise on it which is why I deleted it and they showed it to me and it was something that I I didn't think was a good thing for me to do it's a mistake or whatever and they said if you don't stop doing the lives we will expose you in front of everyone we will post all of these publicly which I thought was pretty kind of an evil thing it's kind of strange to take you know a 30 second clip out of 4our podcast and post it but whatever Manny says he loves you okay whatever um so they said we're going to do that and I had a moment where I considered it because the Bible says be quick to listen slow to speak and slow to get angry um so I uh I told them well you know what do whatever you want I will not stop I will not Bend I will not break I will never stop doing these lives unless God Le leads me otherwise because I know God has led me brother Andrew Spencer said to me in the prayer line twt let them make fun it's all right and the context for that is that a few Services earlier I found out that there was an entire there was an entire uh group chat dedicated to making fun of and mocking me so great good for them hope they're real proud of themselves losers um so uh I um I told them you know what do your best do all you can do I dare you because God told me let them make fun it's all right I said if God be me who can be against me I would challenge anyone to read seriously pinpoint what I'm doing wrong in these lives like seriously show me I I would love to know CU I'm doing my best and I'm trying to talk about things that we just don't talk about as message kids very much trying to bring things out I literally people want to say oh all you talk about is girls in relationships bro what an ignorant St stupid statement to make have they seen all the lives seven out of 10 questions are about relationships with girls and the other two questions are usually um something against me something a really negative question something really dumb against me and then one out of every 10 is positive so um I'm not going to stop doing them people are saying thank you for doing them please don't stop so I'm not going to stop that's just how it is and uh like people are really going to tell me oh because you made mistakes and because some people don't like it you should stop but what would I say all the people that say please don't stop doing them don't listen to the haters like really do you really think LeBron James isn't affected by the people saying he's not the greatest of all time like I don't like LeBron James as a person he's liberal he's for abortion all these different things but I very much respect him as an athlete I think he's one of the top three top five greatest players of all time what's up what's going on John oh I'm just rambling I'm just uh I don't like rambl it's kind of a negative term I'm just going on on until people uh ask questions and using LeBron's a good um as a good point um so like I'm sure LeBron gets a lot of hate I know he does I'm kind of one of his haters when it comes to his personality not his playing but his personality um and his flopping and all that but does he stop no he doesn't you don't think brother Andrew Glover brother Barry coffee or my father or any other preacher ever has ever been told you shouldn't do this you know what they told Brother Doug and Mike sver when they did byc no one's ever done a camp meeting before have have you ever heard of anyone doing a a uh a camp meeting for the Youth in the message no one's ever done that have you ever heard of anybody doing uh doing the uh what's it called um lives and stuff like that on that on uh on Instagram no no no one had ever heard of uh of uh people doing camps before so I'm going to do what I think God has leading me to do and I'm never going to stop until God leads me otherwise so yeah I've caused drama but you know what causes drama things that matter things that are there's different ways of describing the things that we do in these lives one of them is we've had I've had several different fathers on and asked them how they want to be approached as fathers for their daughters has anyone else ever done that it's not me I did that because people asked me to and because I was thinking I don't want these lives to just be relationships and people and people attacking David's character I want them to actually help people so people can describe them any way they want to but one recurring theme is no one ever describes to me and criticizes me on the um on the uh on the positive Parts no one ever says hey it was really dumb that you proper the trior on and asked him about tapes and preaching oh it was really strange that you brought uh brother Bob black on and asked him how how he wants how he wants to be approached by his for his daughters no one ever asks about that so what it is is is everything that God ever does Satan always wants to attack in a way now I'm a human being I make mistakes brother Brandon wasn't supposed to go and preach in in India in a certain place and he did anyway he tried to kill himself several times those were mistakes he's a human being are you saying you're brother brand no I'm saying I'm a servant of God a preacher is just a servant of God thank you William I appreciate it Studio Tour um yeah maybe in a minute here I'm not anything special guys I'm people say oh you say you're a preacher it means you're better than some I'm not I consider like Paul said I'm at least last and the least of all Brethren I'm just a preacher of the gospel and I um do my best only difference between me and you guys is that some It Go beond a Pulpit that's it let's see John mod says yall realize when LeBron's documentary comes out it'll be undeniable he's going to have a 20-hour docu series John among the people that disagree with me about trivial things I think I respect you the most that being said Jordan's better Jordan is better but that question also comes down to what do you mean by better what do you mean by uh what you mean by uh the greatest of all time that's the point of this podcast is it's a reoccurring theme so many terms are said in the message that us message kids and even adults we don't know what it means as like brother like brother Trevor Eman said at byc um this year he said when a preacher says we believe the word yeah that's true but what do you mean by the word what do you mean by bowling playing pool movies TV shows video games Hunting Fishing hiking Sports white water rafting all these different things what do you mean by it's wrong what do you mean by it because when you ask that question what do you mean by it gives a deeper understanding of the things that matter the haris Herring tonight oh thank you sister Georgina I appreciate it I um I really do appreciate it I got um I just put water in it and I use my hands I was going to do it without uh just the way it was before but I figured take the 30 seconds and just do it so I appreciate it sister I really do I want to do my best I want to get the spear actually come down it's whatever all I can do is my best I think I've got a another question that came in I'll be right back um let's see someone said what to do if I don't feel confid ENT in my looks this is a great question I'll have two different answers of the guy part of the question and the girls part of the question see you um my nox deal for the beard David I'll write that down thank you Joseph um uh John I just removed Eli for saying something like that so I I say please don't talk about stuff like that it's not appropriate it's kind of mean don't do that uh so my oxidil very cool um I will look it up up so how to be more let me just take a picture of that and put on my tablet I'll be right back yeah I don't want anybody to feel uncomfortable on my lives this is supposed to be this is an environment this is a place to feel comfortable to feel at ease to feel uh to rest to feel happy and to be you know to think about things so what to do if I don't feel confident about my looks well I would first first and foremost it isn't one thing or the other these things are connected you know what I'm not going to justify what I I'm going to say what I think about it and if people say oh you're 23y oldold saying about it challenge me I would challenge anyone anytime any place anywhere to show me where I'm wrong about anything I've ever said in the Bible or the message and if it's clearly shown I will apologize publicly and put the video up permanently so I'm not going to justify myself for trying to say trying to answer the questions people will ask me questions and then when I answer them they'll say what were you to say well stop asking the questions so what to do if I don't feel feel confident about looks um well it depends first and foremost if you don't feel confident about your looks I would ask you why what is your relationship with God like because I know some people are thinking oh we'll just go to the gym and all that that's so carnal everything is connected there's people that want to kill themselves because they're not born with good genes or they just they they're they're super super super overweight and they can't lose it because of some random thing they were born with so I'd ask where are you at with the Lord Jesus Christ if you're not confident in your looks where are you at with God because I believe every girl and every guy should be confident in their looks in the way that God made them there's a balance to it of course but the the Bible says that um we are fearfully and wonderfully made in God's image perfectly made the way that God made us now that being said what is someone that's super overweight if I let myself go and I became 600 lb it wouldn't be very attractive it wouldn't be something that's good but it wouldn't mean that being fat is wrong it would mean that having having negative or uh not good habits that are consistent aren't correct it isn't actually good to eat pie and cake and bread and things that are super unhealthy for you all the time it isn't and gaining weight why I gained some weight and I'm trying to lose it is because I consistently ate Taco Bell at 2:30 in the morning for like months on end it was decisions so like Joseph Honeycut says control the things you can leave the rest go that's good so if you don't feel confident about your looks there is a balance in it yes now if it's if you're super huge due to or super tiny or whatever due to a health condition there's nothing you can do just pray God will provide but if it's possible for you to get into better shape physically I believe that you should try that's what I believe if it's possible for you to get into better shape so that you can live longer and do that try I believe that you should if you have a health problem keeping you from doing it then that's different but if you if you can get in a better shape you should try I think that's a true thing me trying to get in better shape now I've been trying for the last few months basically starving myself playing I play tennis an average of 7 hours a week 3 and 1 half hours at the time so about 3 and 1 half hours on on Monday night and then Thursday night and I also do some walking and some other stuff so do I try yes I do I do my best that's why I'm drinking water but I believe people should try now the whole world of this exercise or that exercise or all these different things um try that's the thing starving yourself is not good well not permanently of course but intermittent fasting is a proven method of dieting that does work and it can work and it's worked for millions of people to lose millions of pounds it's called when you do in fasting it put your body into a state of ketosis you lose weight doing it it's effective I've done it before also done juicing so uh and people do what is effective so what to do if you don't if I don't feel confident in my looks well if you can change your looks to be more confident eat more healthy because your looks are just are just like Jonathan Syler for instance he's in great shape he looks awesome got a girlfriend and everything why because Jonathan sters has made consistently good choices when it comes to food and exercise he has if someone like let's see for instance Eli cross Eli cross is in great shape why because he's consistently made decisions that are um healthy and good why do I want to get into better [ __ ] why because I'll live longer and I believe I'll be more effective in everything that I do I can run longer I can walk longer I can stay standing longer if I just lose some more more some more weight and I'm working on I've lost like I think like 25 pounds so far by God's grace so awesome so if you don't feel confident in your looks I think you should try to at least try do change something like when I when my brother Alex came to me when I was 18 and I was about 243 PBS when I was 18 I was a bit smaller in my frame so I was looked even bigger than I do now um and he said David what do you drink all that I I was drinking seven or more bottles of Dr Pepper every single day and so that wasn't good and he said David I can't I know I can't get you over to water but if I can just switch you over to uh to um what's it called uh KCA on the sugar La thanks sister Julie I appreciate it more obvious advice so I switched to diet soda and I lost a bunch of weight now is diet soda long-term good thing no but it was it better than the regular soda yes and I'm trying to just switch to water but my point is is try so if you don't feel confident about your looks change something in your life to make yourself better that's what I think um I think Eli has a fast metabolism he does yes but he has gained a lot of muscle due to him working out consistently so very cool you're welcome thank you sister Julie I appreciate good job in switch while I'm working on it by God's grace doing my best um doing my best so if you don't feel confident about your looks do your best as a girl um I think the same rules apply where are you at why are you there what choices have you made what choices can you change no I'm not going to say that there's a certain body type that's that everyone should be I think people come in all shapes and sizes some people like people in all shapes and sizes some people like people really skinni some people like more like people with more meat on their bones I have no idea but I don't think we should become we should should become morbidly obese if we can help it again I'm not referring to health problems or something like that but if it didn't I'm not going to let myself B up to 800 lbs and say oh body positivity that's a bunch of worldly liberal garbage if you can change it try change something so if you don't feel confident in your looks but you're the S you're the way that you are then um feel confident but I'll tell you something Satan will um tell you that you're not in the place you are supposed to be as far as looks go regardless of how good you look regardless doesn't matter if you're in perfect shape as a guy or a girl Satan will always try to tell you that you're not pretty enough and you're not pretty other people or whatever else just stop listening to them you know when the devil's lying it's when he talks so I'd encourage you if you don't feel confident about your looks and you're not subjectively you know whatever and you're making good choices then stop listen to the devil honestly really God Made You in a certain way he made you with strengths he made you with weaknesses is on purpose he made you the way that you are and you are fearfully and wonderfully and beautifully made be friends with people that don't care yeah also you know what's fun though with some of the most fun people to be around fat people honestly and I'm a little overweight so I can make those jokes uh what's your favorite type of exercise Sports I don't like like going to the gym and stuff I could get into it sure but I like sports so much more because I get to win and I get to beat someone else in for what shape do you think you are I'm working on it I'm perfect I'm working on it let's see what's up sakel and welcome to the live so I think if you don't feel confident about your looks then um depends of course you love lifting well Sharon that's awesome you know but no one's going to make the argument say oh no you can't get good in good shape playing sports really so try I'd say but also be be confident in the way that God made you as well if you can't change it then just be conf confident God made every single one of the people on this live and the people that are watching for years to come God made you the way that you are specifically he knew what strengths you would have he knew what weaknesses you would have to make you into the man or woman of God that he predestinated you to be it's all on purpose let's see uh Jesse seconder said at law I tried to comment and agree your comment about heavier people being funnier Instagram threatened that it might be reported Jesse that's great they are funnier they are bro they're some of the most fun people to hang out with honestly some of the most Down to Earth because they can't jump I did make that up in the spot that is funny um let's see Daniel Morris says well some people like working out a hobby and really do what works best for you to get in shape well yeah you know why do I do intermittent fasting to lose the extra blubber it's because it is the thing that's worked for me I've tried going to the gym I've tried just eating meat and veggies and all those different things I could never do it consistently why do I drink diet soda because it's the only way that I could um that I could uh consistently do the diet and it allows for some cheating too like if you're doing it fasting and actually it been fasting it trains you to not EA part of the day you guys want to know what I've eaten today almost nothing I wrote a few uh a few bites of a maple waffle sandwich and cinnamon roll and a coffee drink and that was it I have some Chipotle over there that I'll eat here in a little bit but you know there's a there was a fat people activist with Sean uh I forgot his name Sean hany on the uh on a program and they're saying well what can we do to be more healthy or lose weight or whatever and he says eat less food do more exercise and they all got really triggered at him but it's true so if you don't feel confident about your looks it depends where you're at but that's ultimately if you don't feel confident in general know that you you are in the place that God has led you to be an Evidence I would say of the Holy Ghost one of them is that you're not confident in where you are that's a strange thing to say I know but I would say the way I can prove that is by saying the opposite if you say I'm confident in where I am and I know that I am as close to God as I'll ever need to be I'm right where I need to be with God there's nothing I need to change it's the wrong mentality we want to be confident and what God has already given us of course but if you're striving for more I say one of the main evidences of the Holy Ghost is that when you're always striving for more of God and you never feel like you have enough that I would say is an Evidence of the Holy Ghost not feeling Worthy is an Evidence of the Holy Ghost feeling Worthy is an Evidence of not having the Holy Ghost what's up sheffy welcome to the live how's it going so yeah questions thoughts concerns guys all of this off of three questions so if you don't feel confident um I think you can objectively of course make yourself cooler become interesting stuff like that but ultimately I have never felt depressed anxious or not confident about myself when I was reading my Bible praying or listening to a tape same will put us in a position where we're just scrolling through reels for two hours and we feel so connected to those reals but we just don't know what's going on and we just scroll through real after real after real post after post after post people like to say things against preaching and video games and TV shows but you know what I think I think reals and social media are one of the most effective tools that the devil uses against message people someone can't can't hardly stand to to sit in a sermon for more sit in a service and listen to a preacher for more than 40 minutes but they can scroll through reals or Facebook for four hours a day so you know it's uh if you don't feel confident then you know check where you are with God you're a Son of God you're a daughter of God you are where God wants you to be as long as you're humble any more questions guys please shoot them my way I will do my best to answer and I try to base everything I've said in the message people can describe these lives however they want another way of describing them is David Kain someone who's been preaching for six and a half years been raised as a pastor's son's entire life preaching for six and a half years song leading for over seven playing instruments for over 10 years and being in church y all his life hearing an abundance of um of things and trying to help people with those with those with that accumulated knowledge I guess Thomas gr says if you believe that reals are one of the biggest weapons the devil uses why do you watch them because they're fun Eli or Thomas rather um because it's it's uh it's so appealing and I'm doing my best to cut back on him not to watch him at all I think it'd be better to watch actual real content but I I I would venture out to say you know well if you would change the wording a little bit Brother Joseph I would say brother Brandon would be hitting the negative aspects of brother of the internet because you know what the most successful tool has ever been to spread the message of the of the hour the internet without the internet the message would not be hardly everywhere like it is now it's just true and brother brandham also about television said and I'm not correcting you Joseph I'm just what people will say is they'll say one way and I'll provide the I'll try to provide the perspective for the opposite way I think everyone should look reals wrong no are all movies TV shows and video games wrong no are all hunting and fishing and sports and hiking and whitewater rafting and activities outside and all these things people enjoy are all of them wrong no the negative aspects of them are wrong spending so much time on Hunting that you miss church is wrong spending so much time fishing that you want to quit the ministry and just like not preach to anybody oh yeah but the brandham did that by the way that's wrong but casting a reel to get some fish that's not wrong watching a clean movie that's not wrong but I once had a friend that watched like eight movies a day that was wrong so a Real's wrong no but I think if you're spending so much time on them a lot of time is a better there's a more useful way of spending your time you know the negative everyone ignores the negative aspects of what they like someone once told me oh well and by the way guys everything a lot a lot of what I say is based on actual examples and actual things that people have told me my relationship advice is from my sisters people that have actually been in relationships and like sister fade our church who is married with her husband for 57 years so someone almost told me oh I won't watch Star Wars because it's not worthy of my time but they liked cars RIT to and Pixar movies and I said really why M St oh because because if you eat a sandwich and there's something bad in it then it's not good to eat sandwich I said okay well then I'll ask you this in the movie rouille when the guy and the girl go drive off in the in the in the motorcycle and they leave their at behind what were they going to go do what is implied there in cars when the people are singing in a Podium and the girl cars in front are flashing the headlights what is that reference saying does that make the movie right aoui or the movie Cars wrong no it just makes it where you got to filter those things out or use vid Angel something that just skips it out everything we do has elements of it of the world I like playing tennis I like playing chess I like playing volleyball are those Sports evil no can they be used for evil yes can I play basketball in peace and be happy yeah but can I go to a park where a bunch of people aren't dressed right yeah is throwing a balll into a hoop wrong no is an atmosphere where is done sometimes wrong yes God bless mad or anything they smiling everyone does what they do based on their hobbies and the things that they like why do I like sports so much because my dad likes Sports and he raised me in them why do I come why why do I like uh these things because my dad raised me in it or because it's my my habits and hobes why would someone else like fishing or hunting so much why because they were raing it but it's a habit it's a hobby it's a preference not a show of righteousness or not righteousness let's see John mod says l awful but not expedient so it comes down to what you can do in faith and your convictions in context of Romans 14 let's see very good point whatsoever is under faith is sent exactly if you let it have control over you then it's not good exactly yeah let's see um let's see lawful but not expedient I mean everyone has their weaknesses like some people they can't go they can't go hunting and fishing because they'll just do it so much that they murch some people can't is this is controversial but I believe it is bowling or playing pool wrong yeah is the places where it usually is wrong yeah because almost every time bowling or pool is going to be an environment of drinking and smoking and a bunch of loud music and promiscuity things aren't right but the bowling alley where it's just you and you can control the music is that wrong no they had pool at bethl Youth someone says oh well if you have to uh filter out the bad then you shouldn't do it at all well you know what that's true in every single other other thing there is you can make the same argument with hunting and fishing you can say oh well hunting that's wrong hunting is wrong because you have to you have to not buy the magazines with the pretty girls and you have to not go with people that aren't dressed right and you have to uh oh see so you filter out what's wrong and you only focus on the good parts of it let's see Shar says you're going to be really rich to own one well I don't own one there's beer cans or they're selling beer they've got half naked women on uh the calendars and the magazines and um and the uh what's it called um and the people that are just wrong no you just puts brother the B on to listen what we play oh sweet there you go that would be a big thing pool is wrong what if you have your own pool table in your basement and you're playing brother Brandon while you play it because it isn't the actual sport of hitting bowling uh pool balls with a stick or rolling a bowling ball into some pins that's wrong it's the environment that's is usually associated with you know those things get picked on because they get picked because they're the most convenient for a bar and they're the most convenient for a big place because it attracts a bunch of people does that make bowling or pull wrong no I don't I don't believe so but usually in the environment Daniel Mor says put your spiritual filter on every day it's exactly right Paul says I Die daily so we should do our best to be as careful as we can in all of these things and you know I I uh let's see Seth King says if you have to add but I watched it on vid angel doesn't make it any better in my opinion if it's not something you'd feel comfortable watching without the filter then you shouldn't watch it that's a cool opinion Seth I think that's very respectable I think it's very good I think everyone should go personally according to their own convictions but not try to put their convictions in others I'm not going to tell Seth King to watch a movie because there's something bad in it just buil it out that's his personal conviction I wouldn't think that I people should tell other people oh you shouldn't do this because often times it's just circumstantial righteousness it's just because someone likes a certain Hobby and they don't like others people people that usually like sports don't like other stuff it wouldn't be a unique thing for me to not like hunting and fishing and say that it's you're not spiritual unless you don't like hunting and fishing because I don't like hunting and fishing it's just convenient you know so that's an interesting thing Seth I think that's very respectable um I think that's very very respectable um I mean it's uh it's really ultimately your personal revelation really what I'm saying about these things is to say that it isn't so black and white people want it to be people have favorite opinions and favorite hobbies and favorite sense but Pride isn't any isn't any but movies aren't any worse for you than pride is anything could be used against you or for you uh let's see Thomas cross says what about brother bam not even letting his children use dice in the house wasn't that a good environment or use dice at all that's a really good point Thomas interesting what about that you know I'm not saying this because I'm not saying everybody should play pool or everybody should go bowling I don't care I'm saying everybody should think about it and go according to their own personal revelation but to say that that it is it is directly wrong to play Monopoly because there's dice for everyone else if you're trying to enforce on most someone asked for a tour of my room roller I'm going to see if they're still alive they are not okay cool very nice so what am I saying I'm saying instead of judging everybody else based on all of their Hobbits and hobbies that are the same as yours make your own life as close as you can to God that's what I'm saying be as close as you can to God I think someone said another question in oh no they did not okay cool so do your best for God do all that you can do and I don't think we should be so concerned with oh do you do this you do do you not do that the real question is is is God on the throne of your soul yes or no and if he is awesome if he's not you need to meet him and whether or not you bowl or you play video games or whatever else I don't care honestly I care is God on the throne of your soul do you read your Bible and pray every day do you go to church do you have a pastor do you have a good relationship with your parents those are the things that matter if you have that and you still do things the things that I don't personally do between you and in God because watching movies or not isn't righteousness having the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ over your life is like hunting and fishing just like the prophet of God did that is true you're not special because you're small weak and frail or you're big and fat and you don't like sports and you think no one should like sports because you can't play them that's not special that's not unique that's not holy that's just you're not good at sports so you think no one else should be able to play them I'm saying is everybody has their own habits and hobbies would I say that a board game is wrong no can you play so much Monopoly and risk and chess that it gets the way of God yes but is chess wrong no is Monopoly wrong no can it be used wrong yes God Satan took what God made and perverted it so you can you can take a look at your life and say what am I doing with it how am I spending my time what am I doing for God and um and uh is it the original or is it perion is it something that I would want to do with Jesus Christ is it something that I wouldn't would I be ashamed if everyone saw what I was doing that's the way to do it I think because when you're when you're fishing you have to be real careful that you don't go fishing where a bunch of half- naked people are swimming you have to be real careful that you don't buy the magazines with people that are in bikinis in it you have to be real careful when you go hunting that you don't do it with church time you filter out the negative you schedule around things so that you can have the fun and the good but you don't do the negative it's the same thing I believe with a video game a movie or TV show or anything else it's between you and God it'd be unfair for me to say that anybody that wants to be a world class at tennis shouldn't because you really should focus your life on God to someone like Galo my friend who grew up playing with a guy that's rated number 30 or 40 in the world and he visited us and he is world class he served the ball so fast I didn't have the chance to even move he was so incredible at tennis world class he teaches tennis for a living now I can't play like he can so am I going to make a doctrine that anybody that plays tennis or teaches people to play tennis is Unholy or not close to God no because it's not my preference do I want to become world class tennis I'm not going to probably not going to do that or do I want to become better yeah so there you go guys it's a lot of stuff just trying to help trying to put things into effective for us to think about you know is riding horses wrong no is is singing wrong could it be used for evil yeah shout out to Mr Shelly by the way you're a song
