about intelligence so you had a million dollars what would you do with it man million dollars first I'd give 10% to my church and then yeah before you go into it hold on I forgot it hey Noah before bad that prayed him so yeah here's my my issue with put putting 10% immediately to your church what what about asking your pastor if he'd prefer for you to put it into a fund like a you know a rotha or something that gains interest and then pay the ties off of that interest because you'll earn more money if you have a million dollars in the in the in the fund rather than 9,000 yeah um that makes sense um honestly I'd probably yeah I could ask my pastor about that he probably would want to because he's big on finances he actually runs uh every year he does a Dave Ram Dave Ramsey class the um Financial pce University he actually pays for we all pay for it and we do it in the church we actually um he host it in there we watch the videos in the church and then he teaches us biblical standpoints on um handling money and stuff so I think he would be totally about that I think he would definitely if I talk to him about it yeah I think that's smart but a million dollars let's see after I would have a I would have aund 900,000 left first I probably offerings what do you put for offerings for offerings yeah is enough bills for the turet you got to turn the lights on no I mean 100,000 man that's a lot that goes to the pastor though you got to put offerings too I mean I put 10 percen ties and 5% offerings I would probably I don't even know what I put for offerings I just if I have a dollar or two in my wallet I just throw it in a basket but um I would probably pay for a couple people to go to a trip on a trip to like Africa like a mission trip I think that would be cool and then what I would really want to do is maybe buy a campgr so maybe start holding hosting camps interesting you could save a lot of people a lot of money yeah and you could turn a profit on that too eventually it would pay itself back mhm was that si si Harvey said she wanted to talk okay that's your name hiuse your phone want to talk all you want I got it's okay just hold like this though off of the interest I see there we go interesting what's up you know uh I'd probably buy a couple white minivans why well see I already have one white minivan it's quite nice um and it would cost like 500 bucks and think about this if I bought like 20 white minivans I'd be set for the rest of my life I could just run it till it dies and then you know like it'd be much cheaper than a motti yeah yeah guess but where you find for 500 bucks though you who but like the thing is like who anybody can say they own a bagatti anybody can do that but who's ever owned 20 white minivans nobody's ever done that uh pedophiles okay I don't think they own 20 white minivans but like imagine imagine owning 20 white minivans that's nobody can say where would you put 20 white minivans though I would buy some land for it buy a storage place you know yeah I guess and maybe I would make a living off it I could uh start selling white min events you know yeah yeah you could I think it's a it's a good business strategy no I don't I I don't know Joe that but not might not be a good it might not be I don't know I I think it'd be worth it anyways is there any other questions um well what do the other people in personally would never want to have so much stuff that I'd be worth a billion dollars I would never why I think it's gross gross I know I I just kind of want to live a simple life I don't want to I'll much money do you think is too much money I don't don't think any amount I mean I think they estimated that um let's see how much money was King Solomon worth He was worth around $2.1 trillion and God gave that's ridiculous though that's God never told him to get rid of the money so I think if you've earned it it's yours now they've also like they got mad at uh Jeff basos for being worth hundred trillion dollar or hundred billion dollars he said I've made the rest of the world $900 billion dollar richer though it's not just it's 100 billion for himself I think if you earn it that's good um people have an animist against it though there's a they they hate people who have more than them but the thing is even if you even if you like gave everybody a the same income and things like that they would just people like Elon Musk Bill Gates and uh and Jeff Bezos would just end up getting all the money back because they've mastered the ability to um sell to poor people and poor people will always buy what they don't need to impress people they don't really like with money they don't have there you go oh yeah yeah yeah someone said it depends on what you use that money for and how you view that large amount yeah I guess I mean the love of money is the root of olil not money I mean Abraham was a very rich man King Solomon was very rich I'm sure King David was very rich um yeah just my radiator after driving my car and it EXP exploded on my arm now I know usually not to do that it's a new car but the last six times I did it driving a further distance I was real careful about it it didn't explod or anything so I wasn't expecting it and I was rushed so I opened it and all over my arm and it's spent like eight or nine days most it's the most difficult consistent pain I've ever went through in my life so pray for me but it's getting better by God's grace I man what do you got like morphine or something you got like morph or something a lot of Tylenol Tylenol that's great Tylenol yeah yeah dude that's that's rough man I used to drive this uh Grand Maris when I was young I was 16 I got my driver's license I was driving this thing around and it got one somewhere where all it would do consistently was overheat and so I would have to Broken thermostat I'd have to stop by the side of the road it was leaky too I'd stop by the side of the road I'd have to wait for it to cool down I'd have to open the cap let let the pressure off pour some more coolant in and then try to drive a little bit it was awful it was awful um dude yeah yeah waiting for I've heard that steam burns are incredibly terrible I've also heard that uh Dying by scouting steam is the worst way to go because you will feel burns on every inch of your body before you lose Consciousness and die just wanted to throw that in there thanks for putting that image in my yeah yeah yeah yeah what do you what do you think is the worst way to die David knowing you're going to hell oh I did not think about that I did not think about that when you yeah yeah yeah okay well here's another question for you then do you think most people who die who aren't Christians actually believe they're going to hell it depends on how much exposure they've had to the truth truth because there's no atheist in a foxhole it depends on what their closing thoughts were and whe or not they rejected God for the last time or if God was wanting them to accept him right when they were about to die or if it was sudden maybe they got hit in a car accident and died in a split second maybe they had a few minutes to bleed out and repented who knows where they're at okay so so so so you said there's no atheists who die in a whoa my boss knew this guy who got sliced in half by a high pressure steam pipe bursting wow that would makes for some really cool like I don't know nephew nce lore yeah my brother got sliced in half uh uh he was your uncle so I'm pretty yeah no um you said that no atheist Dy in a fox Old World on Earth so it's just miserable and they'd often pray like God help us because they're in a foxhole you know ah okay I get what you mean right it's just that uh that what is it biblical fear that falls upon you and you know you're about to die and then you're like I wonder I should have gone to church when I was younger that sort of thing yeah yeah yeah yeah dude how's your evening going besides healing from a terrible scouting wound it's going good I went to Walmart with my mom that was fun we got some more uh some triple antibiotic cream for the wound and some tape for it and some Gau and we also I played some pingpong with Jonathan Reagan um it was a awesome it's a lot of fun I I taught him some stuff too on how to use how to do it forehand correctly to get it on the table more efficiently and then you can add um Power later and that was that was awesome well I also bought this this razor chair for 200 bucks it's like a $600 share so that was fun um very nice I shot guns to earlier it was great all that with a burn great I play tennis I played tennis three hours after I did it to my arm arm gosh did you like go to the emergency or something like that or like duct tap Aunt has been a a nurse for for 40 years and she's telling us what to do so by God's grace that's super helpful and uh I want be smart but I don't but I didn't want to let it turn me into a couch potato uh baby want to play tennis yeah right yeah yeah no I played ping pong on Thanksgiving too but there were two um downsides the one was that it was in a basement and it was kind of cramped and the other one was that the guy that I was playing was slightly better than me right and so it's like every single time you know how you can hit the you can uh what is it Top Spin the ball when you serve it so it goes up on the other side every single time I do that he would return it put a Top Spin on it I would return and put a Top Spin on it and then he would he would return do an UND spin I would Top Spin it would go high in the air on the other side of the table and he would slam it like every single time consistently um so it's uh you know it playing ping pong really doing everything is more fun when you are surrounded with people who are slightly less good than you I that's that's that that's that's the way yeah it is um now did you consider just keeping to keep on hitting it to his backand over and over again though I I thought about that but I I'll let you in on a secret here I'm weak on my backand like I am incredibly weak right so I hold the paddle like this right so I'm always hitting almost forward right not allows for Supreme control right but if you shoot to my yeah kind of like that yeah yeah if you shoot to my right and I have to flip the paddle where I'm hitting it like front side forward um on the right here um I'm done I can't hit it on the table ever it's it's uh I want Levi to read me audio I go to sleep to be honest thank you that's very very nice of you Levi has the Roblox Chad F we go no what's really annoying though is like when you start playing ping pong and it's like a fourman and nobody knows how a for man and everyone has a different idea of what for man is right so on the one side of the player this is especially true if you have one player who's like socially um oh gosh how do you say how do you say this in a PO politically correct way you have someone who's a little bit so less socially Adept than another person and what the person who is confident will do is they will be hogging the one side of the table and the person who who's socially inept I should say will never hit the ball right and on the other side of the table you got people who just and then the same guy that I played last night actually the last time I did a Forman every single time this guy we we it was like me him and two beginners all right and every single time uh one of the beginners would hit the go the ball he would spike it every single time it was ridiculous like I was like come on bro like let's just try to get a volley and he's like nope nope kept so well strategy man you can always try to get around that maybe but it's difficult we have a guy over that Joshua met he is uh he grew up playing tennis with a guy that's ranked 30th in the world at tennis and he instructs people in tennis for a living so we play tennis with him and he is world class like 100 m hour serves spiking it so hard that maybe my dad who's been playing for over 50 years could maybe return one if he got lucky which he didn't usually and like it was just sick he was incredible dad got a few past him actually really good but um he was just I also play ping pong um he's not world class in ping pong but still really really good he beat me three games in a row but within two points MH so I'm about 80% with the storm so but really good it was there we go there we go right right right okay so let me ask you what's your preferred it depends on the player but you can variation between a uh a short maybe backs spin serve you can do a serve where you hit it like this MH so like hit a ball like that to get some s spin on it you can also like hold the hold the paddle like this you know whatever like uh like this to hit it kind of like that to get some side spin on it you can I like to put it down the line on the right side just like look to one side put it down the line when I really need to point just out of the blue just straight down the corner maybe from one corner to the other um short serves right up the middle Top Spin right up the middle side spin or Back Spin um real short and then we along from one corner to the other I want them to guess like where in the world is David going to put this ball okay you should you should write a book on that I'm okay with it my dad though my dad write a book on he he beat someone who went on to win the state championship in Arkansas and he plays with both hands so he'll serve with his left hand you'll hit to his back hand he switch hands and smash it not even kidding he's incredible that's ridiculous I have this one serve that I do that usually I can Nail Someone five times in a row before they learn how to to uh how to adjust it and listen you just put an insane Top Spin on the ball and you send it right on the corner right and when you do that 90% of the time they'll hit it off the table it'll either go over the table or to the side it's usually over and to the side you do that it's like usually points but do you throw the ball up when you serve though or is it just a off of hand no because that's ilal technically kind of I let go of it at the last last second let go of it I throw it up at Le six inches each time time that's the rule that's the technical rules according to the the the technical rule is you have to throw the ball that's ridiculous that's that's like Uno saying you can't stack too you can definitely stack what kind of spin you can get and what kind of secrecy you can get if you serve over the table or off the side or or just like roll it off your hand you can get some fancy stuff man but it's not I've never throw up and ser yeah but it works David do you have any any question anything you want to talk about anything we should there's two things so the first is something I was thinking of is that character and first okay point is like someone told me yeah predestination wasn't as important as r and I don't like RZ in the way that it when you look it up it there it they want to make it into it it's a universal thing where you can win over a girl's heart by just being very charismatic and wooing her but it's not necessarily character it's more about like hey I know you probably get this all the time but you're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life would you consider giving me your name or am I completely no to ask that but what it does is it appeals to their ego instead of hi I'm David or whatever you know right right right right okay gosh there's so much there um so the statement that they're making and that uh gosh man Charisma H okay the statement that they're making is that the actions you can take right now will outweigh whatever sort of predestination there is right um I would say that if you're not you kind of have to view the actions that you take and predestination in the same vein right because if you no matter what sort of actions you take the whole story is already written in some sense right so it's like what exactly is the point of them saying that now are they saying that to say it is less important to to are they saying that to say it's less important to pray about a certain girl as it is to go talk to her or like what was the point that they were Mak kidding but they were saying that um but it was actually at the beginning all this is the first one I ever did actually technically but um it it's real late at night but the point overing point was it's not about predestin it's about um your ability to charm and rise up or let's see skills and Charming or seducing a potential romantic partner I found out later that people just view it as a joke you know but at the same time yeah I don't like it because people are different because not every girl is gonna like a guy who's really charismatic she's not because my sister Sarah she married an engineer and he's not charismatic he's really smart but he's not like really really charismatic kind of guy what's what's the actual argument there it's more about what is what are they saying it's more about Charisma than it is about you know uh uh predestination what's the exact argument the exact question I asked was what's more important in finding your wife predestination or RZ and they said R that's like like asking what's more important the tapes for the preachers right it's the yeah they're both important right it's like you know it's like asking is it is it more important to get an education or is it more important to to make sure that you can get a job right and it's kind of the same thing right things inside of the same vein right they're both necessary right so if I was to counsel a young man who asked me that sort of question say you know is it more important to rely on God's predestination is it more important to um or is it more important for me to uh make myself the type of guy who's attractive to women I would say both of those things are important right it's kind of an aspect of the thought that opportunity is a it's a combination of where of what is it being prepared and being in the right place in some sense right it's where where opportunity meets preparation Su success is where opportunity meets preparation luck sorry luck took me three times to get this luck is where opportunity meets preparation right and so the answer to all of that is yes I think like it's yeah it's really important to make sure that you're praying and make sure that you're in God's will it is very important to make sure that you're the type of guy who's attractive to women right just the same way how you're like you know uh oh oh oh what's a really good one for this right say for example you want to you're you want to you want to be healed for something right so you're like I'm going to pray and I'm going to ask to be healed right and you pray and you ask to be healed and you're not healed well what do you do in that case right so the immediate things that you can do is you can start doubting the the premises of God's word God said that you would heal me so I'm going to start doubting the next thing you can do is you can go into the word and actually see brother brandom says healing is healing is not something you should healing is if I I'm going to paraphrase this badly right but without forgiveness if you haven't made things right then your prayer God won't God won't answer your prayer in some sense right if you're not coming to him with a clean heart right so it's almost like you have to go to the source and look at these sorts of things right and so it's it's the same it it's kind of like the same thing right it's like you know if you were to ask God today if you could have a face to face conversation with him and say hey God why don't I have a girlfriend right now right he would probably give you a laundry list of work for you to do right so it's both it's both you know predestination but it's also what does what am I being led to do my currenc yeah that makes sense I agree with that and if that in that definition of Riz I agree with the and you know opportunity plus preparation and I do agree with that the part that I wasn't agreeing with was the idea that it's a um that it's just flirt thing and it's and it's a um it's like oh I can be I can rise up any I can I can charm any girl and that's the part I disagree with now turning yourself into an absolute Chad and being the best version of yourself being the kind of guy that attracts the right kind of girl that's exact I agree completely with that the part I was disagreeing with was more along the lines of the way that the World Views it which is oh just razor up grow that's what I was talking about right so are you saying that when someone uses the and someone asked what's your stance on interracial adoption I don't care like let to do it do it right um the your your your stance your stance was that the word you don't like the way the world uses the word yes I don't think it should be the the um central part because not every girl is going to like a really charismatic guy and every if you want to say Riz is just winning a girl well the girl also has to win the guy and you have to be compatible and I'd even say maybe even predestinated or brother say you know just wait there's someone for you was that a question from no cockman no it's from me um you know it's more about you know it's uh like my mom for instance she was Miss te of Wisconsin 1987 and the fourth largest be p in state and I said Mom did you like dad because he raised you up he's like no I had a bunch of guys trying to do that with me all my entire life and I liked dad because he was honest he straightforward just said hi I'm Tom and then they they fit they were talking about how many kids to have what's the name of their kids the first day they ever met and um so like it's uh it's more about compatibility and I I do think that you should learn conversational skills you shouldn't uh be stupid of course but it's not about man girl like I know you get this all the time but you have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen and I I know I'm crazy to ask this but could I just get your name that's I don't like that you know okay so so yeah that probably would that that style is what I mean like the idea of like the TV show character that can just hook up with any girl he wants that's the part I disagree with one of the differ of RZ is seducing a girl right I feel like this all has to do with the type of culture you in innodate yourself with in the place where you're indoctrinating yourself right so someone in the world who depends 100% on Riz and that sort of thing they'll be comfortable with saying things that people who are Christians or people who are in the message would not be comfortable saying or receiving from other people right and so where am I going with this I'm going to say that you know when they use the term you already know what they're talking about right they're talking about literacy or fluency when you're talking to a girl in the hopes of winning her over and getting her to be more interested in you mainly because of your literacy influency and so on and so forth right and I don't necessarily I don't necessarily see a problem with the definition but I do think that what people don't realize is that uh no people do realize this right but they just don't really it's not something that's stated clearly or stated you know stated uh what's the word for it very often is that uh the way to over let's say woman or the way to get a girlfriend or get someone to go out with you um it will vary drastically um even within the United States right um but it'll very drastically base entirely on culture and the way that person raised you're right and it's also the uh the social hierarchy where they live as well and what their parents are maybe their parents don't even want you to ask for her name unless you talk to the father or whatever else that it is you know that you never know right right right right so some parts of the world are still doing arranged marriages what's your thoughts on arranged marriages David what honestly arranged it and the girl was really pretty that that'd be great it take a lot of stress out of my life of of course I'm so serious with okay all right what about what do you think about arranged marriage what I think I like the way things are now I'll say that yeah I think the way things are now is fine I think it I think it entirely depends on the culture the cultural group and what you're trying to do right like arrange marriages is not going to fly in the United States or any part of Europe right but uh some places in the Middle East I don't know I don't know enough about this I haven't done enough research to say whether or not it would be better for places to not have arranged marriages than it would for them to have right you know but uh I venture to say that I think things are the way they are now Michael wants to know what an arranged marriage is um it's when you can uh you know actually no J says let's see I'll read the whole thing so Elijah winers said let me read it here I think it's better to ask for her name than just stalk her and know everything about her and then uh Jesse sacker said let me's see you know what's funny about the concept of stocking social media accounts is we all find it controversial but like we all do it so why is it controversial okay okay okay right two things there right one stalking stalking and social media accounts is two different things right stalking can lead into the stalking can lead into the whole realm of uh I'm figure out figured out where this person lives and where they go every single day right but generally when we say stalking social media accounts we mean we're just collecting information about this person right now literally everyone has done a deal where they look up someone's username on Instagram see if they're on on Instagram or that sort of thing right and I think that that's I think that that's perfectly fine right um and I think it's akin to asking your friend what do you know about this person or what do you know about you know or if you go to someone's church right and you're like oh tell me a little bit more about this person right to an elder something like that right um but on the other hand too I think that I I just think that the way we put ourselves out on social media and the way that we have access to so many different forms of communication in media I can well let's say I can look at pictures of you from years ago if you've got them up right I can see what you look like I can see you what you're up to that sort of thing um I think that the fact that we put ourselves out there is kind of our acceptance for that sort of surveillance right and so then I go on to say that it's it's stalking I feel like you know you could stalk someone in like 20 seconds like oh this is where this is the type of person maybe I'll drop a follow or not and that's sort of what we do right I don't think there's anything wrong with that right but if you are stalking someone on social media and this if you're stalking someone on social media to the point where you're like oh they went there oh they went there you know or I wonder what they're doing today I wonder why they didn't respond to me right then you need to go outside and I don't know go touch something for ass say cyber jetra says I found my girl by skimming the quiz scores for the BGR cup Corner quizzes oh that is so that is so good oh my gosh I used to do the same thing just answer it in one Tab and answer it wrong and then get the right answer and then on another tab answer it right yeah 98 9998 oh who's the 95 here looks like look at all these kids who weren't paying attention yeah yes exactly find the people that you met at Camp Still Waters on that list like oh we got this one didn't do the you're right I I think it all does depend on the social hierarchy and the culture where they are and I I I think what one thing I didn't like about it I guess is is it puts the is when people are in the world are thinking that you know they're putting all the uh the focus on the carnal side and that's not quite it because every person has an natural Riz or an attraction someone's GNA like Levi Tick Tock guy sounds like a black Optimus Prime all these different things because that's your natural attraction someone's like me a song leader preacher salesman who plays a different sport guitar whatever someone's going like someone like dad because he was a you know he was really good Sports and he's very active and stuff like that people like Mom uh my brother Josh owns TI shops everyone has a natural RZ or character that attracts a certain kind of person and I like that rather than thinking oh well I have enough RZ that I can talk up any girl I want right right right well it's like you're looking at the subcategories that people fit into and the things that they find attractive right and you're basically like uh uh you're optimizing for those bins right if you can optimize for as many of those bins as possible you make it more likely that you will attract a partner right and so I I I I do think that I do think that you know guys who are single generally speaking like the L the women are right okay the ladies are right they don't want you and they're right about that you have work to do right and it could be anything it could be anything from and this is if you're if you're actively looking for a relationship right it could be anything from the way that you approach them to what's going on in your life are you the type of person who they deem will be a suitable mate for the long-term period right but I do think that I think that uh uh I think that in general uh men like to look at the whole world and they're like ah you know it's unfair it's hard right and then woman also look at well the thing to realize I'm just going all over the place here right but the thing to realize is that how do I say this scientifically speaking for a man it is since men are stronger than women for a man any woman as a mate let's say through history is better than having no woman as a mate right but for a woman no mate no man as a mate is better than having any man as a mate right because the the dating uh what is it Dynamic is obviously always more dangerous for the woman than it is for the man right why did I say all of that why on Earth did I say all of that where was I um I think that uh I do think that we have more work to do when it it I I do think that men who are single who are wondering why they're single have more work to do generally speaking right and it's less about the right place right time and it's more about the are you the type of person who other people find I think that's the thought that I was right it's good stuff don't worry about uh about going on and on it's all good a podcast that's why we're here my dad said David it seems like when you try to make something happen on your own by contacting someone doesn't work but when you when it just happens to you and it's more um natural then it it works out better so I think that's more true um because like well let's talk about approach let's talk about approach how important um I think preparation and the and the uh preparation and the foundation is more important than the approach because like someone asked me what's your best pickup line David and like I said um be uh have a great style have the Holy Ghost be out of debt have 10 grand in the bank have a car have a plan have a really good career have a pastor go to church consistently have a great relationship with God have a great style uh have everything all trimmed and groomed and everything looking great all time and then walk up to them and say hi I'm David there's your RZ there is the actual pickup line because like I asked brother the great CER who's been married for 30 years I said what do you think about all this and he's like really David what it is is when you talk to someone you might get this if you try to talk to them but if it fits you get this that's what you want now you don't want to be with someone that doesn't isn't good so really when you say hi I'm David look you up and down what does he smell like what does he look like what's his style um what's his reputation what's his name uh what's his confidence like what is his tonality like what is his eye contact was he standing like does he know my name did he do research about me what does he know about me why is he asking me what my name whatever and what Brother G told me is just simplified David he said David I've been married my wife for 30 years you know how it all started I was like what how he's like hi I'm great and then you see if it fits and it's really simple but it sounds really true do you think that that still applies for nowadays and I will I will give two reasons why I think that that might I think that there might be a little bit of contextualization necessary right so so let's say 30 years ago people were a lot more predictable right when you walk up to someone and you shake their like 30 years ago my mom was telling me when she was little um they could go to a different town someone was a message believer oh that's the stamp of approval you could stay at their house at night right if you were kids you could go hang out with their kids right you could go over to their night and spend the night right just by you know having that Banner Over You right and it's not the same way today right you could say that for every single level of society you used to be able to send your kid on a walk to the store down the street uh 10 minutes away you're not going to do that today if you're caring about your kids right and now when you approach someone and you talk to them there could be a thousand in one a little let's say oh my I I little sh around inside of their head right and they could be presenting a very solid mask on who they are right it's just people are people are a lot more dangerous nowadays than they were previously right I said all that to say based or or get all that information do you think that do you think that we have to put more work into communicating exactly who we are and communicating that we're acceptable in some sense do you think uh yes of course it depends on who you are like you and I we're trained and we're Naturals at communication other people aren't now I wouldn't say that people need to try to be like us but they do need to learn I think they should watch like the Charisma Matrix and stuff like that to learn about how to present themselves in conversations and how to ask questions how to pick up on conversational cues and body confidence and things like that um is that that is so true Micah um um oh Charisma Matrix I tell anybody if you don't have social skills either like go work retail at a place where people are going to be bothering you all the time right or to start a conversation with every single person that you see that you physically can and it sounds crazy right but uh uh if someone's coming your way find something to compliment about them a lot of that social awkwardness goes out the window sorry ter I didn't me to interrupt you you're fine it's all good folks are deceptive about the Christian walk too yeah I agree I mean like yeah we can talk to people also I also have like you know six over six almost over seven years of retail experience so there's that of course that helps a lot um that helps a significant amount um but I think people should B oh oh here's another one here's another one be part of a group chat be part of a group I've been part of this group chat that's you know I I they're going to kill me for saying this right but uh we've been around since I want to say uh a late 2016 and we've got about I want to say 14 core MERS um and uh yeah be part of a group chat yeah be part of a group chat they will you straight brother B you know brother Bob black and sister Monica black no he's a preacher in message okay so it's like I think like 25 30 years ago but he created a website or message people could talk to each other on a group chat and that's how he met his wife uhhuh dude I'm I'm G be real with you like I I want to say uh what is it uh uh three quarters of the couples who were in the group chat have since gotten married so there have been people that have met in the group chat have gotten [Laughter] married you need to you need to be part of a group chat you need to build a group chat if you don't have one right and there's bad ones there's good ones right everyone remembers slam maybe you were part of that one or not this is genius what this guy just said cyber J says or you could create a fake girls profile on Facebook to join an all girls Facebook group and spread positive rumors about yourself may have may have done that wow wow bro got that bro got that web developer on that's holy moly that's Advanced oh my yeah yeah no um okay so another question for you right how important do you think a girl's Comfort level is talking my I I think my I think one of my sisters told me girls want three things they want to be feel safe seen and understood sa seen and understood right you can't why don't I ask that question it's also like where you meeting the girl because yes it is high I'm David or high I'm whatever but it's also where you meeting them is it on is have you never met them in person before are they with their friends is it in is it in a gym of 400 people there's a lot of different things um but you got to make them feel comfortable and I think that it is good to learn about conversations in order to be comfortable also there's that carnal element of it but I also believe there's a spiritual element where God thinks you know this person and you are a good fit personality wise as well because you may have great ribs to be able to convince them into talking to you but you're not a great fit actually when you actually get down to who you really are right right right yeah that's what dating is kind of to to figure that out right another question I have for you too is like when you go to talk to a girl is it like do you ease into it let's say maybe one day you're at like 10% 20 % 30 or are you like a z to 100 0 to 100 okay what do you mean by 0 to 100 0 to 100 is like like a what is it in terms of frequency of communication right to everyone else it seems like I'm Z to 100 but to me I'm zero to 10 so like I do a lot of communication I did 150 cold calls a day for months and months like that's my whole job is communicating so like when I ask to talk to someone on the phone it's not a big step it's just talking to them on phone wouldn't say go 0 to 100 but it's like people don't usually talk to each other on the phone a couple days into texting that's just not normal but I do that because I do 200 calls a day and I can't connect with someone over text because it's terrible I like to call instead because then you can actually talk to someone and really just actually speak to them okay okay all right all right so I don't call people unless I have very specific intentions for communication I want to know things I want to know what they have to think about things or say about things right sometimes I'll call people for fun those are like really really close friends right I'm G be honest I don't know if I'd be comfortable calling a girl and talking to her unless like you know we're in a sort of talking stage of that sort of Deal or or I'm not saying that I haven't done it right but I'm saying I wouldn't be comfortable calling and just talking for fun um eternally unless I'm like okay you know there's there's something here and we're actually you know we're on the same page here right so like calling and talking for hours it's to me at least inside of our this could be different for people who aren't inside of our who don't have the same let's say relationship uh what is it U understanding relationship Dynamics inside of the Social Circles that we do right um but I would say that uh uh for me like talking and calling on the phone for quite a while that's kind of almost like a not friend sort of thing like you're just friends you I say that's true in some Social Circles like you said let's say s said say knowing how to make a good impression then backing off to check whether they appreciate your energy yes Olivia cleany went into that a lot in our 4 Hour 3 hour and 52-minute podcast talking about that very good stuff I agree with that completely um Noah says I'm a minimum of three hours away from me at a very minimum so that's like like that's like you you're in Phoenix I think so that's like the second highest concentration of M People TUC so like Tucson for me it's uh for me it's the um it's the only way I can do that that's probably why I like talking on the phone is because I can't visit in person I'm not in person with a bun people all the time if you know what I mean if be different person okay so I honestly think this is just my personal opinion right I think that texting to some degree like if you're able to hang out with the person you should only really text them to coordinate times when you meet or text them you know cool things right but if you're if you're having let's say a really long drawn out conversation with someone over text that you're not sure if you're interested in that's a really really quick way to bore the whole conversation just pour water on everything right um and it happens right because two people might be texting at a point where their energy levels are high oh you know they're interested I'm interested whatever right and they're having a good time right and that's usually when you if you were to sit per se you would make an ask at that point or you would cut the conversation off hey I got to go do something I'll be back later right because who's attracted to someone who's texting on their phone 24/7 right um but I would say texting generally it's something I think that it should serve a purpose right and the purpose is I should go hang out with this person and see whether or not I you know whether or not you know I'm going to like them or whether or not we have fun or something like that right um and I say even if you're texting between like sort of a um in between sort of a uh what's the word for it like let's say if there's Gatherings or that sort of thing where you're not necessarily comfortable asking the person out yet you kind of just want to know hey are you gonna be there yeah cool right but I think that I think that uh eternally texting it's not a good solution or it's not a good way to build a relationship if you can call someone on the phone and that let's say dating aspect has been established or if you can hang out with them Micah says casually mentioning to the girl that you paay Ties on the gross amount is definitely a type of this guy knows this guy bro that is insane you are out this is random but my eyes are like weird colors but if I do this it focuses on my eyes and they're blue blue not blue I really be honest I some who knows no yeah no if uh if I look at my eyes closely they're brown and they stay that way pretty consistently you nice mud colored that sort of go yeah um so yeah that's I mean that that's kind of the way I look at it like texting it should be kept to a minimum I I I think that texting it's one of the because it's so hard to convey intent through text especially communication intent right you got to be using emojis and you got to be using phrases and and and you know things to put it's like a convers nothing can kill a conversation as quickly as dry texting right and if if if you if you get to the point where you're just like texting because you're holding on to any hope of life you oh will they respond please let them respond right no right like even if you're a long distance away hey I'm gon be in your town in a couple weeks right or something like that right I think that's better than I think that's better than um internally texting yeah I think ultimately you're planning by ear and learning like if I talk to someone on the phone is to be friends and to learn about them and to see you know like cuz like people ask like who you dating who are you not I think that's the wrong question I think the right question is who have you been friends with with a year or more that you're considering more than friends with or something like that because when we're 12 a year or something a year like that when you're 12 yeah you go like who likes who but when you're 23 then it's uh a little different and you've got to put more thought and effort into who you're talking to why you're talking to them your friends but once you've talked to them for a lot of time then uh you can know whether or not they're going to be there because people because you might talk to a girl for for three months and they change their mind and then they hate you and never want to speak to you again because because it's a random reason I agree I agree yeah well uh Micah says you lose a lot of time in text right also there's a psychology component making them make time to talk to you via voice I agree I agree but I will okay so I'll ask you this then right how long should you go talking with someone before you ask out of course you know it depends on what their parents rules are what their rules are it I say it depends um I wouldn't put a Time on it I'd put a compatibility timer on it how compatible are you how Much Chemistry do you have how good of a relationship do you have you with the girl's dad what are their dad's rules what are the pastor's rules all of those incompetent things and how old are you both and what financial position are you in right all right so let's say that there's so so let's say that there's an amount of time where you can talk to someone right and there's a time at which through which you can determine whether or not you're compatible and you take this amount of time and you wait right at the end of this point in time you say I'm not going to go for this person or I am going to go for this person how long is that period it depends on the communicators honestly like for instance I'd say an average person it depends I of a message Pastor who married his wife the day or asked asked a girl to the girl to marry him the day he met her been married for 60 years no I'm not GNA are you GNA do that I wouldn't put a rule of thumb I'd say we should go as the Lord feels as you feel led by the Lord um I would say it has more to do with the style of communication like with me I once talked to someone on the phone for eight and a half hours straight so you know some people are able to talk put are able to put a month's worth of convers ation in one day so it really depends on the people and how much they are communicating I feel like uh I feel like uh it's it's kind of like a thing like fluctuates but not that much of communication ability right and people's subconscious pick up on things that their conscious can't pick up on right maybe when you're really good at communicating your conscious is able to pick up on more of those sorts of things right um but I all this to say right I if you're texting I feel like if you're texting someone so so let me actually rewind a little bit I think that dating someone isn't necessar necessarily a label as much as it is an action right and dating you know we could say we're dating we're not dating right well are you spending time on the phone with each other that is exclusive right are you are you doing all the things that couples who date would do what on Earth my dad asked me this question right and it stumped me for a couple days what on Earth does it mean mean to date somebody what does it mean we're dating we're not dating right what does it mean are you doing the things that dated people do right and so if you are but you're not dating then you're kind of scared of the label right you don't really know what you're doing right and so my point of view is that if you're going to go and do things that dating people do and not be committed or not call it a label right it's like you know just like people who say uh people who like like I've heard in the world people who um what's the word for it they live together but they're not married because the label doesn't matter right right and really the the um the what's the word for it the the actual meaning behind that like I'm just waiting for the next best thing to come along before I dump you right and that's why marriage is so important because it's saying I'm doing this and I'm doing it for real right and I feel like it's the same thing with dating right so for me my point of view there's a point of time there's a period of time through which you go about talking to someone and if you find that the amount of time you spend talking to them and let's say the intensity intensity depth of your conversation goes to a point where you can consider it like oh I'm like dating this person that's when you go on to make that next move right or at least when you see it approaching that position right because you know all sorts of permissions and things like that aside you can look at what the pastor likes to say about dating you can look at what their parents like to say about dating right but if you're taking dating actions and you haven't asked you haven't actually consulted uh whoever the people are around in their life then it's like I'm not I didn't ask to date them because I I don't want to offend them but in reality you're actually dating them on the down low right do you get what I mean I do let's see I I I do get what you mean like I said it depends on the social what social hierarchy you're part of and the distance as well and the position how old you guys are too right um let's see s jth says once you know everything about them and find that there's nothing that would disqualify them than an in-person meeting is The Logical next step I agree either that or whether you've already met them or not and how old they are as well like you may see compatibility or whatever but they're just too young for that and may be you know 17 or 18 or something who knows um so I think you should just be prayerful about it and just It ultimately does depend and be prayerful about it but it it depends on what kind of church or what kind of hierarchy that they're in like there are dating actions sure but there's also like um you know you want to take your time and be friend it's it's a complicated thing but I think definitely they should do with a uh a lot of prayer I'd say usually the best step is to wait longer than you think you need to to because you say what amount of time longer than you want that's the amount of time because usually we want to do everything right away and usually what I think it's not like you're being a sniper right it's more like you should be having as much you should be enjoying your life as much as possible right and when you're doing that right when you're making small talk with everybody let's say in some sense right or you're complimenting people because you think the stuff that they are wearing looks cool right when you have enough confidence to do that it's like sure you could you could look at it as practicing right but it's really just who you are you don't have to try hard oh I got to Hype myself up to go talk to this no no no right and it's the same thing I think too with like taking opportunities or building a business or deciding that you're going to go and try something right I'm GNA do it for real this time right and you go and you do it
