de democracy is where the majority decides what happens but we don't we live in a constitutional federal republic because if you live a democracy then the majority decides everything then it wouldn't be the United States of America saying who the president is it would be the United States of New York California and Texas basically where the most people are and that's not a way to do it because we just have straight de Democrats all the time it's why we have an electoral college so if the person was referring to America we are not a democracy we are a constitutional federal republic it says like a while so I ended it cuz I miss him talk to them see kids shouldn't get phones never give anyone under the age of 37 a phone unless they have to been to 13 or more States really so 13 or more States interesting Seth I think that they should be to at least 27 States or more and then they can get a phone so what about being the different states makes it where they canot or cannot get a phone be as good as real life friendship I mean online communication for a lot of message kids is the way you initiate real life friendship because in the world they just tend to meet people around them uh in their own areas and the message uh especially for people like me I have everybody I meet and the message is going to be far away from me so uh yeah online communication isn't as good as inperson friendship but when the question says oh it can never be as good as real life friendship online communication is real life friendship it has to be for a lot of people because I can't be visiting everywhere all the time I I plan to Lord willing but I do a lot of my church and if I am not there the services will not be the same there will be drastic difference no I'm not saying anything about myself it's just the position God's put me in because of electronics and it and I song helped out with his computer and stuff like that as well so who knows it's just a it's just the game I guess um but on communication is real life friendship for a lot of people there's people that play G video games together that meet each other in person after playing video games together for seven years and they already know each other and they cry when they meet and stuff like that so I would I would agree that it could never be be as good as in person but real life friendships it depends on the person it depends because for some people online friendship is the only thing they've got so yeah what do you guys think you guys think online communication can never be as good as rep life friendship do you in a bad mood and what your dad was in a bad everybody gets in bad mood so shut up um dad was in the bad mood and Ruth asked him something and here's the thing about asking your parents things you have to do it you know what matters more than anything else not how you ask not the words that you say not your tonality even when you ask matters you have to ask them when they're in a good mood you have to ask them after they know that you're doing something good so I texted her after she asked him course said no um and he was in a mood where he would go you talk about it for a couple minutes you know about what she was asking how it was wrong whatever and I uh I texted her I said that is maybe the worst timing I've ever seen for anybody to ask Dad or Mom something ever so the next time you want to ask Dad something let me know and you just ask at a different time because when you ask your parents things you want them to say yes of course and the way to get them to say yes is to ask differently ask uh at different times ask when they're ask when they're in good moods and when they want to say yes if you ask them when they're upset they want to say know then they already have all the uh the preindl anger not anger just frustration I guess at the world and you're adding to it by asking hey can I get Minecraft on my phone no so uh timing matters more than anything else what's up real work class so even if you go to college for sales or business administration whatever else you'll learn about some stuff but nothing really teaches you use well as experience so I graduated when I was 16 from high school and I did tenting for a year from 16 to 17 and then from 17 till from 16 I got a job and I worked uh at like fast food restaurants and I also worked at um I say fast food restaurants and also at um what's it called uh Wendy no um a cleaning company where professionally cleaned places and then I went over to uh and then after with that for a year working three different jobs while graduating from high school I did Ting for Year from 17 to 18 and then after that I went over to um I went to uh what's it called again um I'm little tired guys I'm all good though um from 1718 I did Ting and then from that I did got a sales job and I've been doing sales ever since so then when I appli to these jobs I can say oh not oh I have a four-year degree I have you know four years of sales experience which is better than a degree I don't believe I don't I think unless you're doing engineering or maybe nursing or a doctor or something like that that you have to have a degree don't get a degree it's I think it's 82% of people that get a degree don't get a job in the field that they studied for so they wasted time and money a lot of it let's see someone says real learning does not occur in the classroom I wouldn't quite say that real learning it can occur in the classroom but depends I guess it depends on what kind of learning you're talking about what's up Laura how's it going you know I actually was wondering yesterday about uh oh I only you know yesterday it depends on when I do these but I would only have like two or three people on the live and then I'd be like oh there's only two or three people you know how many views the live from yesterday has after having three two or three people on it consistently for some I'd say an average of five and sometimes like seven the most I have was 10 but usually about 3 to five you know how many views that live has now from yesterday last night it was like a little over an hour long 350 so I'm not worried at all about how many people join life I don't care a lot of this is to uh spend spend my time on something good and to keep myself sharp and to help a let people spend their time on something were at home but when I got in my room no one was there and it was my room you know was my place where I stayed and I wanted to have someone there so got a guinea pig at first guinea pig was just annoying you try to hold it and it literally acts like you're going to kill it like made all those noises it was the weirdest thing and then I decided you know what I want to get a dog so we found a free Amma and the people that gave her to us um pretty sure there were meths because they said that she was a Goldman retriever chihuaha mix I don't know how that's possible but yeah you know no clue nether do I mean I don't how it's possible but wanted to get rid of her when I was younger when I started working like 50 miles from home because I didn't have enough time to spend on her but uh that's just a family dog we thought of giving her like I think a few years ago we thought of giving our way to a a lady that had a dog like that looked just like Emma disappear on her you ran away and she was real sad about it um I think the dog maybe passed away because she couldn't find it for months we giving Emma away but Emma's always friendly to everyone all the time but then with the lady we were we we showed Emma the lady Emma was very aggressive to the lady so we decided to keep Emma and yes technically we kind of say she's everyone's dog people say d she's your dog I'm like no I'm not cleaning up after I'm not going to do that I offered to bring her away because I was so busy all the time and uh and now that I work from home I guess she is my my dog she's everybody's dog but she's think a lack of a father contributes to youth violence you can put into percentages what how what what contributes to youth violence like I'd say sure violent games can contribute to the youth violence but the thing that contributes more than anything else is the lack of the Lord Jesus Christ in your life and then second to that is the lack of a father they find that in kids that don't have fathers I think they're 80 times more likely to go to prison 80 so the real problem is not having a father what's up sa how's it going the question was violent games do violent games contribute to youth violence no they can sure but the thing that contributes to it the most is not having God in your life not having a father because it also depends what you mean by you violent games do you mean like uh Call of Duty Black Ops or something like that because those are just uh dexterity and handout coordination and you could also have be having a ton of fun with your friends and another point that I see that you can bring out a lot of people don't make is that video games like that you can enjoy them in a fun with them because you know they aren't real you you know it and it's a lot of fun it's like I had a when I was working in Cleveland about an hour from my house and i' when I have to work I'd be go to Sarah and Dominique's house and you know they go to bed at like 8:30 or 9:00 so you know I'd be awake for the next three to three or four or five or 6 hours so I'd have a lot of time by myself and I had a PS5 it was mine at the time and I didn't play it there very much because I didn't enjoy it I enjoy playing some games with my friends really and anytime I've ever play really is to get better so that when I play with my friends it's more fun if anything really so yeah it does depend but no but what contributes to youth violence it's not having a father it's not having a dad it's not having Lord Jesus Christ it's not having a mom it's not being a Christian it's not having some kind of religious or hierarchical structure in your life that equates to being a good human being by societal standards I'd even say even if you have a father and a mother and an atheist father that says no son you will not be violent you will keep your temple you will and kir is teaching us on all these Christian principles of course and he's an atheist right but you know like Jordan Pearson says that an atheist will pick a religious structure or structure of believing in God and live it out as if he is a Christian so an atheist picks a religious structure of moral belief and lives it out what's up Zoe welcome to life how's it going so no I wouldn't say V games contribute to the youth violence because I I've played games my entire life now I've never been the guy that's played them for more than I think the most played a video game I time was maybe an hour or two but that was Clash Royale which is cartoon you know but I've never been the guy play eight hours straight or something dumb like that uh but I knew some people to do and they've never shown violent tendencies which what brings on violent tendencies is lack of found of uh Authority in your life but no doing those things does not contribute to it because the thing that makes us fun is you know they're not real and they also are fun you know because also built into a kid's what you know also contributes to the violence is a lack of control of your spirit because hear me now violence isn't wrong what's wrong is it's violence for the wrong reasons to get the wrong things when David killed GL was that violence wrong when Sam killed you know a thousand men with the jaw bone of an ass was that violence wrong no so there's good balance bad balance oh Thou shalt not kill that word kill actually meant murder not kill otherwise God was wrong to kill people he was wrong to open up the Earth and swallow daythan and Kora he was wrong to do you know to kill all these different people but no it's murder and even the Bible says that if you hate your brother you're guilty of murder oh no wait you hate your brother without a cause you're guilty of murder so no I don't think video games violent video games contribute to the youth violence I mean that's like say if America cuts down its carbon emissions by 15% the world is saved no we contribute I think like two I see let me let me Google this how much really is it not going to work for me come on [Music] really how much of the world's pollution come from your what's up El Jackson and Thomas cross what's up guys so as far as how much of the world's pollution comes from the US 14% of all that comes from the US so if we decrease it by 15% that's almost nothing that's not the real problem so the real problem you know it's not even a problem so that's the small percentage so the real problem with youth violence is a lack of control you don't see a bunch of kids who have their lives together six-pack abs and they work out all the time and they have great jobs and they're getting life together and they have a mom and dad that love them and they do all these different things those aren't the ones doing all this violence it can happens maybe rarely but most of the time is they don't have a father figure they're not Christians their mother sleeps around all the time they have no structure of authority in their life which is why they do these things it's not because of Call of Duty it's the dumbest thing one of the dumbest things I've ever heard in my life really what that is is someone who has a preference steady show nine out of 10 of this is my personal funny statistic that I made up on the spot by the way I made up a long time and going someone just being ridiculous in conversation 99 out of 100 people that don't like sports can't play them because I know people that say you should never play sports ever you should never go to a football game you should be a Christian all the time and just read your Bible instead and here they are spending all the time hunting or fishing or hiking or they spend all the time on Facebook uh saying bad things about other people behind their back or saying how wrong everyone else is have favorite sense some people love hiking and fishing or hunting or playing sports but they hate movies TV shows and video games why because that's not their preference that's not what they like everyone that likes something ignores the worldly aspect of it I like going to the mall I ignore the bad aspect of it I like occasionally very rarely playing a video game or two I ignore the negative aspect I like watching Lord of the Rings I'll ignore the negative aspect which is almost nothing in Lord of the Rings actually know i' say it's nothing load of rings the negative aspect be watching it so much that I miss trip I like what rafting but I'll ignore the bad parts of it I like going to Walmart but I'm going to ignore the nein of the wall because everyone that likes something ignores the worldly aspect of it they do and people like saying oh well if you told me I had a sandwich with the with the bit of garbage in it I wouldn't want to eat it well that's like walking on the street everyone that likes something ignores the worldly aspect of it cuz some people that hate that don't watch movies and TV shows because they're really really busy maybe they like playing sports a lot or they like hiking a lot they're going to ignore the people that are half-dressed on the hiking trails and they're going to ignore the cheerleaders when they're playing sports and all of the uh negative female attention that they get or negative male attention that they get playing sports they're to ignore where they post their pictures and this is fine I'm just saying this they're going to know where they post the pictures of them with their team and their entire team is dressed in super duper short shorts maybe they're wearing a screwed of course but they're going to ignore that those girls are dressed worldly because they like playing that sport everyone ignor Wars the worldly aspect of it and it's time people stop demonizing movies TV shows and video games as if there's some high sin above everything else no they're just like everything else they can be used positively and they can be used negatively just true like oh you said that because you play video games watch movies all no I don't I just am a arbitrator for truth I try to be it's inconsistent like I just had uh my friend Aon on the live last week last last Sunday and he said well people that like hunting and fishing say that I'm not spiritual unless I unless my hobbies are just hunting and fishing basically and what about guys like me cuz I don't like hunting or fishing see see people want to make their favorite sins and say oh no movies are wrong the rest of them because Hollywood is the capital of where Satan is but the brandom said the entire world is Satan's Eden you going tell me that chosen The Chosen series is of the devil so it's uh with that fireproof all these different things you can even say this you know the girls in Lord of the Rings dress more modestly than the ones in fireproof the ones in fireproof is ear in pants and the ones in Lord of the Rings are all dresses you can get pretty ridiculous with this stuff what it is is legalism that equates to religion that says I am better off or I'm more righteous than someone else because I have a different preference of what I like it's meaningless brother brandom said no amount of not quitting or not lying not stealing not going to the picture show saves you just going to a theater condemn you no between you and God so it's uh I'm just understanding this because people like to take video games movies and TV shows and say they're just the worst thing ever no you you know what's worse than those things I'd say or just just as bad bad Pride I don't know who said it but the pride from not doing something is often worse than the actual doing something what would you rather have someone that's that plays video games all the time and says yeah I have a problem I need to fix it or someone that the subjects and the the nature and the things in it are things that you enjoy peace longsuffering gentleness Faith self-control resisting temptation fighting evil never giving up those are the critical and the the core things loved in Lord of the Rings what you don't what you hate and what you don't love is that they're drinking and smoking fortunately they don't show the negative aspects of those things in Lord of the Rings you like the storyline in Star Wars or you like the the Heroes versus Villains the good versus evil but you don't like that they dress pad me like a prostitute or pad me like a prostitute or they have you know two or three cuss wordss in nine movies you ignore those things why because you love not the world neither the things of the world but you do enjoy the good aspects of it it's not as black and white as people want to say like no love not like I'm not saying this is you Thomas cross but people take that verse and they try to say love not the world no the things of the world and i' say okay you shouldn't uh eat food unless you grew it yourself or you got it from another message believer love not the world nor the things of the world right Walmart's world and the things of the world is the perversion of the original this is what I preached Wednesday to know good and evil there's good and there's evil there are good aspects of Lord of the Rings and there are evil aspects of Lord of the Rings now as far as I compared to everything else I think it's they're the cleanest most successful movies ever and I really enjoy them but like Star use Star Wars for a really good example to know good and evil we know the good parts and the evil Parts you shouldn't watch it or ever do it because there's evil parts then never go anywhere ever again never use Facebook ever again never use Instagram ever again don't even go to church because you might see someone half dressed walking on the side of the road when you're driving to church oh I'll just ignore it because I'm doing because I'm you know on my way to do something good okay then how is a movie any different than doing something you enjoy people are happy to go on a hiking trail ignore the half-dressed people walking out next to them because that's their pref preference love not the world the things of the world we love the Heroes versus Villains and the good versus evil of Star Wars but we hate that they dressed Padme the way they did and they dressed Leah the way that they did and they said a few words that we don't approve with of we hate those things but we love that it's good versus evil it is literature the entire structure of our entire Society is built on literature stories what are the stories based on they're literally based on what God put in this world what's up Danny how going so it's good versus evil all of it is it's literature stories that's why people that like don't like Lord of the Rings but they love Disney I'm like are you out of your mind you like Disney movies but Lord of the Rings are you kidding me you know the movie Cars has a scene where the girl cars are flashing their headlights to Lightning McQueen yeah it does Lord of the Rings have anything like that no but I'm not comparing it love not the world nor the things of the world you choose the things you like or you don't like based on your preferences we are not any more or any less holy based on the things we do in our spare time or our Hobbies we are the way that we are because of the what we did with God and what we met him at his conditions it's because you like one thing over the other doesn't mean it more holy or less holy well I would say though that you have to be careful with all these things you see do you think Christian rap is fine as long as you're filtering the words in excluding the rap beat well it depends on the uh it depends on the intent of the Christian rap but I don't like Christian rap like Kanye and all that what they're doing I believe that their intent is just to use the word of God to get more views and to get more people to watch them and to uh and to get money so any I can't there's nothing in the Bible or the message that says whether or not any any certain kind of music is right or it's wrong I I don't see people defending listening to Kanye or anything dumb like that but maybe some people are ultimately it's between them and God it is you know I may have a pretty strong case for saying that people you know should be careful about listening to Lauren Deo but I don't have a a scripture or quote for us so I can't definitively say a thing all I can do is go off of personal revelation that's what all this is it's personal revelation if movies and T I know some people that we they can't watch movies or TV shows because it'll drag them down to a level where they aren't Christians and they miss church because of it so they do other things in said I know other people that do maybe uh hiking or fishing or white water rafting or hunting and they get to where they're so obsessed with it to where they'll miss church both things can be used for evil you got to be careful and it's a personal revelation that's what I'm saying it these these people like to demonize the things they don't like to have their favorite sins like no when we're not holy or not holy based on what we do or do not do we're holy because of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ but Jesus said unless you are perfect you will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven perfect also there's a there's a a thing that I use called vid Angel and vid angel will let you watch a movie and and select all the filters to filter out everything evil about it so that the movie is entirely clean let see Thomas cross says do you not believe that God that creates everything there's one of his angels that Rebels that angel perverts other angels and then they have the good angels that fight the bad ones and then humans fight evil the entire preference it's just a preference you know but I would say yeah the vast majority of modern movies are trash and you can still go hunting and fishing and nothing wrong with it as far as you could say percentage of evil in it there's a higher percentage of evil in movies than there is in hunting and fishing I would agree but s can use any of those things against you could be more easily used movies it depends on how what your weakness is inside of you sure you know what do I spent like me what do I spend my time on these lives studying for the lives spending time with family uh working a lot driving around spending time with my family I spend a very small amount of my time on a movie your TV show or a video game almost none and you know I believe that everyone should be careful I I definitely believe that 100% so there's a higher percentage of course of evil in a movie or TV show but is there anything wrong with uh The Riflemen or Little House in the prairie no I've gotten serent thoughts from Little House PR I got my first sermon I ever preach from Little House in the prairie you know so it's all good stuff and I think that you know if you embraced all of movies as a whole versus uh all of hunting as a whole it' be less bad to do hunting but let see Thomas gr says yes you refresh your mind with the sermon in the church and its condition may change your opinion God
