going over what are the rules for this live with people what are the rules what are the rules for these lives because it's hard to decipher because it's hard to act right or know what to do when you're supposed to act right when no one said what the rules are so I'm gonna go through what are the rules for the lives and why do I want to have rules and things like that um should we put this in a chat this is the live where I talk about goes to life I have where I talk about what the rules are moving forward on labs make sure I spot everything right what's up one yes what's up everybody pin this somebody has any questions feel free to ask but I'm gonna go through these um I have a button I'm sure it's serious I guess or whatever um but thanks everybody for joining Whoever has joined whoever will watch this is pretty late but I hate holding things off hate uh thinking of something cool or something good to do and then putting it off I hate if something that is worth doing I kind of want to do it right away I don't want to put it off and like plan it out I'm not that kind of person I'm the kind of person to do something that's super hard and super difficult as soon as possible because it makes it where it's you can get done with something faster and you can uh get more to the stuff that's fun more effective overall so hope that this is a blessing for you guys hope that it all makes sense um I'm trying to adjust this light here swear there we go so I'm just going to pray quick and I'll go right through it we'll just thank you for the stand for everything Lord please help me to convey Lord to the audience what I'm trying to say a lot of times Lord I get misinterpreted and what I'm meaning by what I'm saying please help me to come across the way you want me to speak yourself what my voice is insufficient but what I have I give unto you surround myself to your father name of the Lord Jesus Christ amen all right what's up William busy man so talking about the rules and stuff like that and uh first of all guys uh it really hit me when I asked uh when I asked Mike what it's like being a Sunday school teacher and how he's been affected with you know ages 13 to 18. he says you gotta make sure they know that you love them I love all of you guys I do now you say what do you mean by love well you guys already know the technical definitions of love but there are some definitions here that I really liked that I want to go through um let me move this tab over here and I'll read them to you here love is the feeling that a person's happiness is very important to you and the way you show this feeling and your behavior towards them if you love something you like it very much you can say that you love something when you consider that it is important and want to protect or support it love is a strong liking for something or a belief that is important your love is someone that you love if you would love to have or do something you very much want to have or do it so I love all you guys and I want these to be effective as these lives be as effective and fun and amazing as possible and it's not fair for me to kick someone off in some ways when I have been defined what the rules are and what the ways will be moving forward and that's all learning experience but I want you guys to know I love all of you um I I love all of you and just for the uh just so that I can be as direct as possible uh as far as the people that I know that I've spoken to and that I know uh Isaiah price man I love you Eli cross I even love you like Ross I love all of you guys I love all of you and my desire is to help I did these lives and I continue them because I knew that what was I was being well I was saying was helpful it was helping people people were saying thank you very much so I continued if I wanted to do these lives to be I'm not doing this to be popular if I wanted this to be popular I'd never mention everything anything controversial ever I'd never talk about anything that could ruffle any feathers I would go full Joel Olsteen mode and I would have never talked about Lauren Daigle or anything like that but my goal is to help spiritually and to spend my time on something that's fruitful and good and edifying that's why I'm doing these things that's why I'm doing this what's up Nathaniel cross welcome to life so the point of this live is to tell you guys that I love you and I want to do my best I want to make this a really cool place for message kids really cool place to hang out and to spend time with each other and stuff like that and to how do I say it um to be fun and stuff like that we want to have fun but we also want to do things the way that God wants us to do it first Corinthians chapter 14 and verse 40 says let all things be done decently and in order Ecclesiastes 3 and verse 1 says to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven a time to be born and a time to die a time to plant and time to pluck up that which is planted A Time to Kill and time to heal the time to break down a time to build up the time to weep and a time to laugh attempt to mourn a time to dance a time to Cast Away stones in a time to gather Stones together a time to embrace Embrace and attempt to refrain from embracing a time to get and time to lose a time to keep and a time to Cast Away a time to Rend and a time or so a time to keep silence and time to speak a time to love and a time to hate the time of War and the time of peace so it's time for everything and on these lives what do we want what do we want I want everybody to have love for one for another like First Corinthians chapter 13 talks about with charity suffereth long and is kind charity envious not charity fonteth not itself is not puffed up does not behave itself unseemly seeketh not our own is not easily provoked thinketh no evil rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth beareth all things believeth all things hope with all things endureth all things charity never faileth but whether they be prophecies or they shall fail whether they be tongues they shall cease whether it be launched it shall vanish away for we know I'm part with prophesy impart but then that which is perfect is come then that which is in part shall be done away but when I was a child I speak as a child I understood as a child I thought as a child but when I became a man of both way childish things finale she threw a glass Darkly but then face to face now I know in part but then shall I know even as also I am known and now by the faith hope charity these three but the greatest of these is Charity now I'm not uh Mike penguin so I can't give you guys baked cookies in person but I do want to put some uh rules out here for what they will be for the lives moving forward because I love all of you very much and I want the best for you and I want to make this life something positive for everybody and it's unfair for me to kick people out or say you can't do that when I haven't put the rules out so I have some rules for you guys I'm gonna put this on there and this live will serve as the explanation for them so people can say oh I don't agree with that and they can just go to the video and Skip to whatever point this is at where I'm uh you know exactly uh eight minutes in and see where what I say so what are the rules for the live let me grab a drink to explain the rules are I need a drink a Sparkling Waters rig so what are the rules number one think before you comment think what would Jesus do before you comment think what would Jesus do before you comment what does that mean what do you mean by that David so that means if you don't think Jesus would comment it don't if the intention was something got good you know Jesus wouldn't say that don't say it and I explain that I explain more of this later in these other rules what's up Levi how's it going I figured I should do a video on uh the rules for the lives so people know um and plus I was I was really affected by what Mike penguin said about uh the other stuff I think Levi just left okay beautiful people can go back and watch it so number two no dirty jokes none I don't care if someone thinks that joking about dead people is okay there will be none of that on the lives zero if zero tones for that these are the things here that's whatever but you know there's still you know the rules but I don't want jokes about Kobe dying I don't want jokes about anybody dying none so those that's the second thing no dirty jokes on the lives um no jokes about people dying no jokes with weird weird words in them uh no jokes about dead people or racist jokes or dumb jokes or whatever I don't want any dumb jokes on this that's that's the second rule no dirty jokes um so number three keep the comments appropriate to the topic being discussed when the topic is something serious so if we're talking about something to do with the message or do with the Bible or do with something you know borrowing the serious lines keep the comments relevant to what we're talking about now if we're talking about LeBron versus Jordan or something dumb like that I don't care what you comment have fun uh of course you know don't do anything Dom like a dumb a dirty joke of course within the realm of these still do these these these rules but at the same time we're talking about LeBron versus Jordan and Thor versus Superman something like that yeah troll in the comments make funny things whatever um but don't no dirty jokes or something like that you know um that's the third rule so when is something serious we're talking about how to win souls or what is the message or something like that I don't want to be talking about something that we would talk about in church and then have to read one stupid comment after another that isn't relevant to the thing not this people are stupid or anything but that the comments aren't relevant see imagine it this way you're in a group with your friends because that's what this is you know I don't have any youth where I live so I do these lives and one of the reasons why is to have youth with me imagine you're in a group with your friends and you'll are you all are in a texting uh a group chat two guys are talking about message stuff and the rest of you just doing whatever it would interrupt the whole thing or if you're in person imagine being in person and we're talking about something else and you guys are and people are commenting random stuff or saying random things they wouldn't say they would keep it relevant now if it's something dumb we're talking about LeBron versus Jordan Thor and Superman the Packers and the Chicago Bears which by the way I'm really happy the Packers won um but if it's something dumb yeah be dumb who cares it's fun but when there's uh when there's um when there is uh something serious be serious see today's the day we remember now 11 sister Joy this day remember line 11 we will keep all the families that lost the loved ones and prayers they reflect this day yeah of course actually technically well let's uh tomorrow kind of is the day but I guess in the sense that we'll go to sleep and wake up or whatever but yeah technically you're right it is 9 11 today so that is sad um okay yeah so keep the thing when something serious keep the keep the keep the comments relevant to what we're actually talking about number four when songs are being sung don't comment dumb things so when someone's singing a song don't comment something stupid just to get a reaction no that we won't have that what's up Sarah Callan how's how's it going so like I'm singing a special or like a little song or someone else in the line of singing a song I don't want to have to read some dumb stupid comment about something totally unrelated keep it relevant if it's something serious keep it serious if it's something dumb keep it dumb um number five if you disagree with with what I'm saying with what someone else is saying do it respectfully as Jesus would to his Brethren to his disciples not like Jesus did to the people in the temple that were you know selling in the temple and he beat him with whips and he uh you said you've turned this into a what's up Sarah you've turned this into a den of Thieves and or told them you're of your father the devil don't do that when you disagree with someone when you disagree with someone don't say I disagree with you I just I think you're wrong don't say that instead say I think what you're I believe what you're saying is wrong personally in my opinion because what it does is it gets like I'm right you're wrong you're wrong and I'm right and it just it just doesn't get anywhere who are you saying that to David myself in a lot of ways too because I have I felt in that I need to get better on that but if you disagree do it respectfully do it in a way that would be effective what was the way be that Jesus would disagree wouldn't we want to disagree effectively um number five or number six at this point Steel Man someone's points back to them instead of straw Manning them you say David what in the world do you mean by Steel Man versus strawman a steel Manning points this you asked me David so let's see who's on this lie with me still Sarah Callahan says David do you like pancakes or waffles and I say I like pancakes and then Sarah starts laying into me saying you're the worst ever you hate waffles you hate waffles with everything within you when I said I like pancakes I didn't say I hate waffles they're still a straw man you're taking what someone's saying and then expanding it to or something they're not saying and then attacking that inflated argument inflated version of what you think they meant which you don't think they meant is it's an arguing tactic you like pancakes too yeah I love pancakes and waffles they're amazing I think waffles are better since you got little cubes to hold the serp um but steel Manning it would be to say so what you're saying David is you like pancakes okay or you like waffles do you also like pancakes or how does that work to learn about it to represent what they're saying in the best so if you disagree with someone instead of just saying comparing what they say to the worst possible thing like when I said Lauren Daigle trusts like a prostitute and somebody said you're calling her a prostitute that's not what I said um take what someone says and try to repeat it back to them in the most effective way possible that makes the best case for their argument even if you disagree with them take what they're saying and repeat it back to them after they've said their thought completely in the most effective way even if you disagree with them that's what I mean so even if you're going on about IU love Lauren Daigle what I say oh you're saying you want to listen to a girl that wears pants all the time that would be a straw man because people that like Lauren Daigle aren't saying that a steel man would be for me to say something more along the lines of so what you're telling me is is that it's not that you idolize Lauren Daigle it's that some of her music is Anointed and you enjoy it and it spiritually helps you I represented their points back to them in an effective way without trying to make it seem like they're a bad person for thinking it that's called steel Manning take what someone's saying repeat it back in an effective way uh never judge a person by their looks okay cool uh what's up Joy Robinson we're going over rules for the live welcome to the live I figured I would do this let people would know things better then I'll put this as a picture on the uh on my highlights and um people can uh look at that and then watch this video for a reference what's up Ben how's it going you can watch this backwards done or whatever okay so Steel Man people's points instead of straw Manning them I just explain I should explain what that meant uh number seven if your intention is to rile someone up or bait them to get them to lose their temper or lose their composure Etc don't join the live don't oh I can get him it doesn't matter if I can get him to do that then if you're if someone's intention is only to cause strife and to cause and to cause uh someone to lose their composure to try to get them to mess up or to try to get them to break character don't join the live go if you just want to beat them into saying something stupid so that you can laugh and get your little five seconds of of uh I don't know whatever whatever you want to call it don't join because that's that goes back to rule number one what would think what would Jesus do before you come do you think anything Jesus would say man if I can trip up Peter and what he's saying I can really embarrass him then I could really chip him up in his own words that'd be beautiful that would be something Jesus would do right I Think Jesus would repeat people's thoughts back to them and tie up the Pharisees and Sadducees in their own words sure but not to his own brethren so if someone's intentions just debate someone or to try to get a reaction to them out of them or rile them up don't join you're not welcome because it's not the spirit of God leading you to do that oh what are you you're either led by the spirit of God That You Love by the spirit of the devil and if you're not led by the spirit of God then what you're doing is not something that's good number eight rule number eight no edgy language what do you mean by edgy language language that you know you wouldn't say to your mom or dad or your pastor or your grandma or grandpa or brother Branham you wouldn't say it no idea language people know what it means people already know all these things no idea language so there you go so the comments no idea language no edgy comment commenting I'm not saying he's wrong because people can get carried away with a keyboard and typing all that it's a little different for some people but no AG language number nine and this is basically the same as number six but it's reiteration of it number nine if you think someone is wrong don't say you're wrong say instead I believe what you're saying is wrong separate the words from the person because it's more polite because people can be wrong sometimes or what they're saying may be wrong but people can change what they think all the time but we never want to get to a point where we're just like Mike is wrong Mike is wrong Mike no we don't want to do that so if you think someone's wrong don't say you're wrong you're just wrong David don't say that say I think I think maybe what you're saying is wrong because you separate the uh what they're saying from who they are because what you're saying is known as your identity I'm always talking as if I'm what I'm saying is the absolute number 10 most importantly have fun best number rule number 10 is have fun above all else have fun and final disclaimer is that people can't abide by these rules under interpretation of the host they will be kicked out of the live so just as a run through of all these lives or all these rules here number one think what would Jesus do before you comment number two no dirty jokes number three keep the comments appropriate to the topic being discussed when the topic is something serious when it's about something dumb like LeBron versus Jordan have fun LOL when songs are being sung don't comment dumb things if you disagree do it respectfully and as Jesus would to his Brethren not like Jesus did to the people the temple that Jesus literally said to them you are of your father the devil because you know they were Jesus spoke differently to his disciples Steel Man someone's points back to them is so strong and then represents someone's points back to them in an effective way rather than comparing to them with the worst possible thing because it's a dishonest way to discuss things um number seven if your intention is to Rouse someone up or bait them and get to them to lose their temper or lose their composure or say something dumb Etc don't join the live because that's not something Jesus would do to his own brethren no edgy language what do you mean by your language things you wouldn't say to your mom or daddy your pastor or brother bear in a room um if you think someone is wrong don't say you're wrong say instead I believe what you're saying is wrong and what do you mean by this what do you mean by that seek to understand what they're saying rather than uh just saying you're wrong you're wrong you're wrong what you're saying is you're wrong you're just so wrong that's not effective you want to be effective we want to be a love of God let's just say hey I think maybe what you're saying Mike might be wrong when you say this what do you mean by that but we want to be effective right we want to be light of God let's see number 10 have fun honestly and if people can't if you came out of his rules an interpretation of the host you'll be kicked out of the life so does anybody have any questions about any of these rules before before I end this it's been going for 22 minutes so it's a good it's a good good thing we want to put this into perspective so people can understand where I'm coming from because I love all of you guys this should be a fun and amazing live where we talk about God and His word mostly yeah well I have to close I have to work at 10 so I'm gonna go go and just hear a little bit um so I can't stay for long with this one but uh what do you guys have any questions about any of these any of these rules did I have uh that I have set because any any questions at all if you do after this live just text me and we can change them we can change the wording I don't know but the goal really the overarching rule and it's number one on the list is think what would Jesus do before you comment and that basically flows to the all of the all of the all of the rules um all the rules what would Jesus do would Jesus join alive with the sole purpose of riling someone up and baiting them into making bad decisions and getting emotional and getting because I have a tendency to do that it's a weakness of mine I need to work on I think they're all good rules well thank you sir I appreciate it because I I love you guys I want this to be effective I want it to be fun but I don't want to have to have my guard up worrying is this person being sincere are they just trying to trap me into embarrassing myself you know so let's see who else is with me on here Sarah Callahan Ben Browning lilies Robson Joy langat um Ben do you want to come on talk about these rules for a little bit or do you uh or do you guys have any questions at all any questions um here I'll just uh yeah so um you know it's uh if someone's only goal is just to say whatever David says I want to disagree with it please don't join that's like the most it's one of the hardest things for me because when I'm managing this live guys like it is a difficult thing maybe if they're jerking a lot probably move them well it depends on the joke um depends on the timing of it whether people realize or not this podcast can actually be helped to someone if we let it by God's grace well thanks Ben it's already been helpful a lot of people by God's grace and I believe too um and may I do it live too you know different podcasts do a pre-recorder but I want to do it live to him to involve as many people as possible and to make it more you know person to person in it also because it's more pressure on me and I like pressure I like going doing things that are hard especially mentally um maybe because I got that from past experiences but that's fine it's a good thing I want us to think well what would Jesus do the overarching theme of these rules is if your intention is to get someone to lose their composure do not join if your intention this is the main one if your intention I'm going to change that rule the wording of this rule if your intention is to Rouse someone up or bait them and get them to attempt lose their temper or lose their composure or do something that God wouldn't lead them to do or to get them to react like God wouldn't lie so if someone's intention is to try to generate a reaction that Jesus wouldn't do please don't join because it's hard for me to do loving the beard between my brother oh sweet thank you I this is the longest I've ever not shaven for so we'll see you Lord willing I'm glad you like it I'm doing my best but we want to be effective guys I love these lives I love doing this with you guys it's one of my favorite things to do it's one of my favorite things one of the favorite things I've ever done in my entire life highlight of my weekend um I'm sorry that people act out of line sometimes you're doing great though well thank you Sarah statistically it's always going to happen which is why I gotta make these rules but thank you though sir I appreciate it I mean and even like when people people didn't believe me when I said hey if I fail I'm happy to say I was wrong did it hurt yeah actually obliterated my ego and it was really hard for me to do but um it's worth it it's a good thing even if I serve as a bad example of what not to do and how to say you're wrong thank God can always serve as a bad example right but you know I want you guys to have fun but we want to be Christians because we aren't this is the last thing I'll say I believe I believe God just showed me to say this because I'm a preacher I do have an anointing of God when I say things we aren't Christians just at church we are not Christians just when we're expected to be Christians we are not Christians just when people are watching us the real time when being a Christian matters is when you're behind a keyboard or alone in your room or alone with your friends when you were the only one holding yourself accountable that's the true time when you approve what kind of Christian you are you will fail sure but sure humility after you fail and getting back up is what matters so we are who I want us to be Christians not just a church but all in the lives as well be a Christian be a lead of the Holy Ghost behave in the way that you would when you got out of that altar that one day and your life was changed and you were filled with the Holy Ghost and you just wanted to be exactly the way God wanted you to be not like public schoolers and the rest of the world and people that are by public school public schools I mean people that aren't LED of God and live for themselves only and don't live for God at all I go to bed go work at seven well God bless you Sister Abby uh sleep good hopefully you uh are rested up for tomorrow so behave I want to behave myself and I fail in this I feel publicly for everybody to see and the most views outside of the drumming video I've ever gotten it's got over a thousand views for some reason um is when I said I failed everybody it's got almost a thousand views it's not fun it doesn't feel good to my ego but I'm not doing this for my ego I'm gonna do this for popularity I'm doing this so that I so that people can be helped I'm gonna bring on brother Trevor and others that know things like what is the message why do we believe what we believe long term I want to go into like what is this got it thing what are these seven skills different things like that and not to take the place of a pastor or a preacher like that we're not it's a different format when it's a conversation that's true brother you're doing amazing job for the lives of podcast I'll keep you in person well thank you I want to do my best I love it I get more I've gotten more fellowship with message kids outside of camps than ever before my entire life which is really nice through these lives also to spiritually help you're saying you're anybody David I'm with uh with brother uh for the Brampton look at the Unseen the worst a Christian can give outweighs the worse the world could be or the best the worst equation can give outweighs the best the world can give and Paul said I believe it was Ephesians chapter 3 or something like that or Ephesians chapter 8 he says I count myself less than the least of all brethren brother black was a huge debut podcast well why'd you glad you enjoyed it it was really nice having him on but when we get it's a different format because when we get message people together I believe that when you get Christians together Mr people together and you talk about things a certain thing happens and when you can involve everybody and that's just a such a beautiful thing um but these are the rules guys and I put the thing at the bottom if if you can't abide if people can't abide by these rules under my interpretation of them because I am the host they will be kicked out of the life period now if I interpreter is wrong interpreters wrong I'm sorry I was wrong but I think people know when they're when they'll be breaking the rules and some people will make it their mission to break the rules but I'll just kick them out but above all else be Christians and act in the way Jesus would have you act regardless of where you are so guys I'm gonna pray and we'll call it ninth mission 7 father thank you for everything Lord thank you for all things please help us to sleep good tonight with us as we work tomorrow please upload that these rules have been edifying thing and something that would help us and bring this program to something even greater than what it is Lord thank you for all your help and just all the voices and all the format and just it is really Lord just such a beautiful thing when message kids get together and message people even adults join this thing as well I believe when questions evolve even different denominations and different faiths join and we talk about these things it just it's so much better than what the world has to offer Lord because the worst a Christian can give always always the best the world can give help his lives to continue Lord the best way
