I was sufficient in myself to save myself like why why would I need a savior you know it doesn't even make sense you know and all the works that people do it's like if I would if I could save myself there'd be no need for uh you know the sacrifice or any of those things but I can't I'm not sufficient I'm not able I'm not you know I'm not there so we needed everything he did for us that's right you and even if you I didn't weigh more than you I'm better so like it doesn't matter all right sweet so we addressed it we can go to the next thing how should we act when an unbeliever comes to our church love what does that mean what do you mean by love you're talking back it's a church love or what are you talking uh I remember uh like over the Labor Day meetings there was a brother who said he used to be Amish and you know he remembered going to his own Amish Church and they would they were just so hard on them and they would always correcting him and saying he didn't do this neither do that need to you know straighten up need to all these different things and then he said he remembers coming to a message church and they didn't say anything they just treated him like he was one of them they just walked in the man they said hey how you doing where you from what you've been up to what's what's on in your life this is us you know like they were just that like they feared him as if he was already a part of the congregation they treated like and treated him with just with the love of God and just accepted him you know in into their ranks even before he had like a true experience but they just accepted him completely so you know not not not being judgmental not being like Oh Brother your your hair is kind of long are you uh you know it's like well they don't know better or maybe they do know better but they're just not there and they're that that part of their Journey you know so our job isn't to you know and even if even if something is awry that's something for even like your pastor of the deacons to handle like even if there's something is going on it's not even our place as you know to to intervene in there unless we're a pastor Minister like if you have a position in the church maybe then that's your prerogative to step in and and correct correct things you know because the deacons are the policemen of the church and they're supposed to you know lay the law what kind of things are you talking about uh just I don't know like like this or something I don't know maybe if someone walks in and maybe they're wearing girls wearing pants or like makeup or like uh like I every situation is different you know but and you can tell people these things but just to be just to push it in their face so much it is it it might just push them away you might just push them away while you're pushing pushing them trying to push things on to them so leave any type of uh doctrinal and stuff Corrections mostly to like the people with positions in the church you can tell them what you think if they're really interested and they're asking you questions of course we should all be able to tell people what you believe and what the Bible says and why we do what we do but for the most part just accept them talk to them you know the Bible says you know it's come as you are and just and just accept them into the fold of course we know what we believe so we don't we don't accept the parts of them you know love love the sinner hate the sin so we don't accept those parts of them but we do accept them as a person and just welcome them in and try to make them feel comfortable you know like like that's that's really what a lot of the people I talk to in college and school they just felt so uncomfortable when they went to church like they felt comfortable talking to me but they talked about how they felt they would walk in the church and just feel so uncomfortable and so like like like everyone was looking at them and like they just felt like so anxiety and they felt like they had to curl up in a ball and just and they want to just run like it kind of gives the atmosphere they just wanted to run out of run out of the doors because of how uncomfortable and judgmental the environment felt I really wish it just created an environment of acceptance and love not a lot of people talk about acceptance and love and they make it weird like do whatever you want we don't believe in doing whatever we want and and we believe that there is a rule there is a rules to live by but when people first come into church and they're unbelievers they don't care about they don't care they don't care so telling them the rules they don't care they don't they don't have an experience they don't care so just welcome them in try and get and try and try and live a life before them that that will get them to Christ so so that then they will care and then you won't you won't even have to say anything at that point if they if they get to Christ and they get an experience you won't have to say anything to them because then they'll just do those things on their own but if they're if they're new if they're just coming in just be kind be welcoming you know treat them like anyone else try not to look at try to look at people the way God looks at you you know all your sin all your faults all your flaws all those things you know we could look at we could we could look at people who have the new birth and still see all the flaws and and character things in them but that's not the way that God sees us the gods is perfect perfected by him you know the way that he saw us before the foundation of the of the world is is perfected and our his Perfect Bride that's how he sees us so when we see other people and they come in they're unbelievers just look past everything look Pastor piercings look past their tattoos look past their makeup look past their short shorts just look past that and try to just see them connect with them as a person and see their hearts and try and see what God might see in them you know it says that God desired that no one would go to hell hell wouldn't even made for humans it was made for the devil and his angels God doesn't want anyone to go to hell regardless of who they are what they look like how they act and that should be our desire as well even brother Branham says that you know one of the evidences of having the Holy Ghost is that you want everyone else to have that you want everyone else to be saved you want you whatever like there's no one you should look at and be like you know I hope their soul goes to help you there's no one you should look at if you have that I would struggle to know how God lives in you I would struggle to see that in you but if you want everyone to be saved brother Madison that's one of the evidences of the Holy Ghost is that you just want everyone to have that experience so that they can you know continue on in the faith and and and have that the etiquette of their lives you know be manifested every day and just continually continue continuously just be baptized by the Holy Ghost and all those things so that should be our desire is to to lead people to Christ through our love through our actions and through all those things and not to just criticize them and smack them out the church but just to try and love them and see past their flaws see past their Falls trying almost even though they're not you know don't have a new birth yet try and see them the way that God sees us and is through the blood try and see them through the blood the way that we're flawed and we're off and we're off kilter and we're just messed up and rotten and terrible and but God sees us through the through his blood through his sacrifice and try to see them that same way through the sacrifice try to see try to see them redeemed even though they're not that way now try to see them redeemed you know and believe for it because that that's how it happens just through faith and prayer the awesome nothing's wrong because we both do the same thing we have different ways of talking about it it's awesome I mean it's uh it's an unbeliever comes into the church it is the long game we do and do not do things based on the our heart and the structure of what we were raised in and the structure of what we believe they do things and dress in ways and do with things in their lives based on the structure and the context of the way they were raised either they go according to the way they were raised or they rebel against it you never know their their parents were divorced if their parents are literally satanists you never know any of these things to everything he says right and also you talk to them as friends and it's a uh it's a long game they may come once and never come again like hey we love having you here thank you so much bye on lunch take him on ask them about themselves because the most interesting person in any room is the person most interested in you you'll want to ask them about themselves and then they'll see you and they'll perceive that value of the girls wearing the skirts the men of the clean countenance and so forth and either they'll desire what we have or they won't and really what we're looking for is not to change everyone we're looking to find that predestinated seed that was there before the foundation of the world to help them go through the path to being what they're supposed to be today that's why we go to church and we're living for living for Jesus is living for others we don't like if I want to live for myself I sit in the corner of the church and never do anything ever the God's place where I am but if we give God everything we have which by the way we're going to song leading later which is kind of cool for sure so am I but um we make them feel welcome because we were once in their position and God doesn't love you and me anymore now than when we were dead ranked Sinners he loves us the same and we don't want to make it seem as if no you can just come in and be any way you want and be safe like not quite but we're not legalists we change the inside effort you know like yes come to church and then they're going to hear about baptist and they're going to hear about these different things but consistently say hey hey Mike thank you so much for coming so how was your weekend how was your uh how was your work week what do you do for work all these different things you want to develop it's kind of like it is it's the we're selling them on eternal life man you know what I mean develop that relationship develop that Rapport because we don't want them to go to hell we don't want them to miss the rapture we want them to have what we have what God has given us so there you go let's see Esther Curtis says yes I support that you can totally tell them your thoughts opinions and your Revelation for the word but people struggle to take no for an answer and I'm trying to add some some actual emphasis to these people saying these things let me know if that's good or not uh take no for an answer and debate and debate just to get the last word yeah just debating is not going to get it we're recognizing when someone like we had someone that my dad wouldn't stew and they said why do you guys just wear skirts why do you guys do this why do you guys do that and we're actually able to witness to them lead them to the message by God's grace um see next one uh let's see I feel like I'm in church services saying so many good things you have Mike and Mike uh let's see John emody's here sweet Mike can you make this a sermon yeah uh let's see let's see um we find these more comments here hold on let's see it's God's job to fix habits slash flaws in people from Sarah Callahan our job is to love them how they are maybe show them what the Bible says but we have no power to change people the way God does it we can't change them we can that's what I say about people they're like oh so-and-so is doing this terrible circle thing they did me wrong so like if we can make ourselves into such the person that God wants us to be to where they desire what we have then that'll attract them that's why it's similar to when people say oh well how do I find a dream wife how do you become the dream husband how do I get people to want what I have how do you become the greatest Christian you can be to attract people to want what you have um is my single asking for all the leads in this chat Mike you single like I said no comment I'm not mad that means he's single I have a Fifth Amendment right yes we find these things um David what's is it what's he answering uh John he was answering the quote the answer of uh how should we act when an unbeliever comes to our church um for the next thing that was an actual that's great comment here hold on yeah hold on when people see from my mom um when people try serving God and they're not living according to the word it gets God's attention and its correction is gentle yeah yeah that's right Mom um hold on one second let me go through these I want to make sure I address everyone's people feeling involved when it's actually a you know that nope I think that was good yeah we want we want to be effective there's things we don't want to do to be effective I used to ride around Gastonia with friends at night barking at about LeBron versus Jordan or we're talking about Thor and Superman or some dumb topic yeah be dumb in the comments sure have fun but when we're trying to talk about something serious as the mod as the host I would ask that we keep the comments specific to the um the subject now this goofy be goofy but if it's serious we can try to be serious because I want these things to be good as goofy in serious when it's serious because these are really we're literally talking about um we're literally talking about bringing people to eternal life here literally you know so yeah have fun but at the same time please try to keep it um specific thing like if you guys want to have a live read just Goof Off the whole time let me know but you know I'm going to try to keep it semi-serious any thoughts on that Mike or um okay uh see God made his cousins saying God made weed so we can consume his passion um it's so dumb um you're fine Bree uh let's see this is a cool question actually uh Guys these questions are from Mike Mike's a legend this is super cool ourselves available to discuss the gospel with people I think the biggest part is just living a life in front of them you know uh something I've been talking to uh my Sunday school class about is you know the Pharisees and how I'll be right back yeah hi guys uh uh okay now that he's gone let's talk about the real no I'm just kidding but uh okay one thing some of some of my Sunday School uh students are in here but one of the things I've been talking to you guys about is the Pharisees and how they were Hypocrites and how you know they they weren't following the word accordingly so and when you're a hypocrite it's gonna throw off your testimony you know uh brother Brandon would say that your life you know is so loud that I can't hear your testimony so the life you live in front of these people is really what's going to make you available to talk to them or not because the world is seeing hypocrites the world is they've been to churches they've been to places they've seen Christians who smoke they've seen Christians who drink they've seen Christians who cuss and do everything just like the world does and then just say they believe God if he wants every now and again but what they really want to see is a a genuine example of Jesus Christ on Earth so that's really what's going to make you available to to give people more experience and talk to people about these things is to live a life in front of them so that they can actually glean from their life and it's not just about telling people because I promise you you won't even have to like I feel like as Christians we should want an excuse to talk about you know what we believe but you don't even have to bring something up if you just live a life that's so different in front of them they're gonna ask you what what's going on like if you if you just walked in the uh into your work or school one day with like a a three foot pink flamingo hat people are going to ask you about it so if you live a life that is so different from everyone else around you people are going to ask you about it people are going to ask you so you don't have you don't even have to prompt that discussion it'll just come like I I've seldom ever had to tell people hey guys I'm gonna mention the believer hey guys I believe the Bible hey guys they just see the life they see why didn't Mike ever cuss why is Mike wearing pants when it's 100 degrees outside why is this why is that why like what is he looking at on his phone I said why what is he reading on his phone what is he listening to what is it why he doesn't listen to rap he doesn't listen to all these like and they're gonna see that life to the point where you're not gonna have to bring it up they will ask you so if you're really living the life you know and you you it's gonna be you're living so different for everyone else that they're going to be able to tell them they're going to want to ask you about it and you won't even have to prompt you but they'll ask you and that's how you make yourself available is by living a genuine christ-fledged life in front of people and they will ask about it yeah all right that's all before when I heard that was that was really really good I mean if you're living life they will want to ask you about it now some people won't which I think is an interesting differentiated because if you work with somebody and you mention it to them you can ruin your work relationship which is a hard thing to have professional relationships and personal relationships relationships with people in the church and stuff like that so someone said uh Lily black says the new age Christianity is that you can do what you want smoke weed look any type of way and still come to the nutrition you know why they do that at sister Lily money that's why members you want more members if I wanted for one of the if I wanted hundred people a night to watch this thing I'd make it all about things that don't matter I would have never said anything about Lauren Daigle or anyone any one of those people that can't that knows so much about stuff they can't even dress right you know I would have never said anything controversial only good things only nice things never talk about anything controversial anything that actually matters but that's not what we're doing we're trying to actually help so if you're living life they'll want to ask you about it also if you're living the life and they don't want what you have they won't ask you about it as well yeah and you're right living it will do more than say anything because talking doesn't mean as much as actually doing things I see it's disappointing uh consistently but like it's disappointing it isn't appointing unbelievers to what Christ taught Mike keeps using himself as an example he's so humble there you go yeah well I'm way more humble than you so you should take notes see let's see Brianna pray bro you can't even tell atheist apartment for Houston Christian these days as far as lifestyle goes that's a problem yeah let's see Lily black acting like a devil but slapping the name juices on it right and when you do these things I think whenever we do anything we should check our motives and objectives you're saying my only motive is to get Mike riled up and to get him to get angry at me and make a mistake and to yell at me I want to see him fail and lose this composure lose your composure Mike you know we should really think about what the spirit's gonna do that it's like the cancer culture kind of thing exactly they call it from from John and Modi uh your call comes down to the seat if they don't believe they have nothing to believe with they don't know the culture um okay I'm not reading that healing uh from Esther Curtis I decided to see what Christian players are being put on put out this year in his blasphemy ah it's too bad Esther golly um right like how are you familiar back how right how are you going to be set apart if you look like everyone else in the world does exactly and also if your music sounds the same as the rest of the world without words this is a problem they're really people who think to Kanye's Christian rap are you me oh no but we went too far with the you know the uh charity Gale stuff but Kanye or Dre or the other guys with their Chris no bro no hold on one second here good stuff good stuff all right what are your thoughts Mike I just want to throw all of those different things um good good thoughts all good yeah do you love my mellow then I was always but it's great it's good stuff it's awesome one of the things go outside no you go ahead go oh I can hold it I was gonna I'm just gonna say uh reiterate on your money part because that is really what's corrupting a lot at churches is they won't preach the word because they know that they they only they treat it more like the business than than really the how sacred it really is is eternal life for individuals and God living in people but they see it more as money so they see us like how instead of saying how can I get the word out to people they think how can I appeal to the widest amount of people well I'll still while still kind of being under the Christian umbrella none of these churches get so big is that they don't they don't they don't really know what they believe they just say things in this and every once in a while they say Jesus or every once in a while they quoted scripture but it really at the end of the day it's like they're trying to get people to show up and get more money in the church and that's really the end goal when Lauren Daigle was asked and I'm not I can't say by the Bible the message anything is wrong like yeah I think we should be able to separate the art from the artist like well I was gonna put this in your story but I'll just say it I learned English music if it blesses you spiritually good for you but we should not look up to her spiritually in any way whatsoever we should and uh when they asked her like she may have taken back what she said about being a Christian uh Christian singer but what she didn't take back was they asked her can you say that by the Bible homosexuality is wrong which they should have asked or can you say something that will make you less money and she said honestly I can't say but love is the important thing what that did is tremendous amount of more money and I'm not saying I'm separating the art from the artist you say some of her songs they are good and I believe they're anointed because gifts and columns were without repentance but to look up for someone spiritually no we can't we shouldn't say like oh my goodness they're my idol that's a problem yeah let's see Zoey black says yeah people just add the word Christian to music and all of a sudden it's okay listen to you and someone says uh Noah borntrager says I agree that supposedly Christian music is not right at all um actually silence is too loud one thing I have to notice that both Mike and I do is like after Mike is done speaking I'll wait two seconds at least just in case he wants to add anything and so I get an extra two seconds to think before I speak do you do the similar stuff Mike or what do you think yeah I try to let make sure the person is completely done with their statement yeah sales it depends on what the context is I guess Levi post says the real question is where does it become wrong current Mr churches sound like rock style in the 60s I don't know if this I don't know um it's you can't make a definitive judgment on right and wrong with it it is a revelation but we can make a definitive judgment on looking up to people's idols and on um trying to defend a uh a uh sin yeah the artist is good and um you know one day goes to some good songs the issue where she is she where message kids or ask spiritually when they have the baptism of the Holy Ghost no that's the difference art artist that was my point um music Progressive victims are modern here we go Lily black not all those who cry Lord Lord will enter the Gates of Heaven and then because the song just a Christian lyrics but a woman prancing around dressed half naked in the music video yes exactly it's that's so like someone says oh you called Lauren Daigle a prostitute in life I didn't I said I quoted scripture he that looks upon a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart but the Branham said women some women will have to answer for committing adultery with thousands of men because of the way they presented themselves and everything she wears is on purpose or halter tops or tank tops low-hanging things tight pants all of it right Lauren Daigle is on purpose because an attractive girl in stupid looking clothing or in promiscuous looking clothing will get more clicks that's why it's just true um let's see uh let's see what else people saying um I'm trying to go through these things not just the responses you can go if you have a response go ahead Mike yeah so I would just say that uh in terms of music you know you don't really uh I would I would just look at the words and see if they're anointed because people always like you don't really know what what the author of the song you don't know if they have the new birth you don't know their experience so you know and and it does it like especially like sometimes when I hear a song I actually don't want it I don't even want to look up the artist because like I really like this song I don't want to know what the artist does I don't know what I want to see what they do I don't want to I just want to listen to the song and listen to the anointing on the words and the the gift here that's being used because there's plenty of songs that are written but we don't know the people who wrote them we don't know what their lives were like so just glean off the song don't worry too much about the artist you know some people kind of think oh this artist is this and you can't listen to this song and it's like well you know there's artists that maybe wrote a great gospel song that we just don't know their life and they could have also been done in many terrible things so we just worship God and how we know how to worship him and not worry too much about what the artist did because we really don't know there's a lot of things that could happen behind the scenes that we might never find out we might sing that song the rest of our lives so you know and I definitely agree with uh yeah yeah all the a lot I mean let's just be honest there's very few contemporary Christian artists who actually live a Christian life according to the Bible so just listen just listen to this a song that's edifying and don't worry too much about the artist and yeah the real thing is don't even don't even look up the artist don't don't idolize them don't because really we're not supposed to even look at them anyways we're supposed to look at we're listening to that song and worship God through those words and through the anointing that was given there not even look at the artist like who cares like I don't know who wrote Amazing Grace I don't know who wrote uh all these different songs in the hymn book I don't know who wrote you know how firm a foundation I don't know who wrote these songs but these songs are edifying and they're they lift up my spirit and they they feel they're great and I get in contact with God through praising him through those songs so I don't need to know who wrote it I just need to know what that song says and how it applies to me worshiping God and I don't really care who wrote it it doesn't really matter that's right yeah my people speak about things according to pain that they feel and the pain that I've seen or just feel is when people you know they idolize the singer to be like how dare you cost like don't even you're right don't even focus on the artist focus on the art focus on the the music that's helping them you know it's a there's a song called this time it blesses me now I have to ignore that it's a little rocky at some parts I have to ignore that singer used to sing for Kansas John lafonte now I don't know where he's at with God but the strong is about abortion but his daughter that got saved from abortion so or his daughter alone I think so um it's uh you're right it's separated the art from the artist like Lily black says they could be anointed but how can we separate that from a false anointing like brother Graham talked about in anointed ones in the end time I'm not familiar with the exact what do you mean the false anointing well whatever I'm exactly saying that I have to listen to that ceremony to get exactly what that means I haven't listened to that one in uh I think like four or five years also I'd like to add a point that um I mean I don't know what you said about Lauren Daigle but I'd like to say that brother Branham actually said that if a woman was dressed immorally and a man were to insult her in the street he actually said that he doesn't know if he could even reprimand the man he doesn't even know if he could correct the man for insulting a woman if she was dressed immorally so he literally said that in a quote I it was either marriage or divorce or it was it was another another sermon but I remember him saying that some woman who's dressed in Marvel and someone insulted her he doesn't even know if he could condemn the man for doing such a thing so if that's that the man insults her and it's you know that way what I said was as I said on her music video you say she was dressed like a prostitute yeah according to that I don't think I've seen it but depending on how she's dressed in a tank top basically yeah definitely not modest yeah um let's see I mean like she she's also a very attractive person yes but that is what brother Brandon said is that if she was dressed that way he in someone and someone insulted her for dressing L.A that he doesn't know if he could condemn the man for doing that thing so that's what yeah I mean we well yeah I mean in that specific way as far as the uh I'd have to see the quote I mean as far as the that way but that does not say that um when it says that we are committed adultery with her already in his heart if someone if a girl purposely according to the Bible the message showing purposely puts them out there but people aren't Consulting her for doing that they're tanker millions of dollars to go out there and dress like a street prostitute and sing sing Christian songs that I believe yeah sure they're anointed by God because gifts and songs are without repentance but as far as the uh the way she's dressing it is designed to get clicks it is designed to be a modest entirely let's see Elizabeth says sermons in that is talking about people that have an anointing but it's a false anointing that would deceive the elect if it were possible like that's how it accepted the anointing is I'd have to be really uh stayed up on that I don't I don't know I think uh the Bible talks about how if someone you know that there's gonna be signs there's gonna be Supernatural signs people have gifts Supernatural gifts that like because the Bible says that gifts and callings are without repentance so someone could be living like a devil and still have a gift that like like LeBron as a gift for basketball regardless of whether he lives create the Christian Life or not that's just he is a gift for basketball some we have the funniest singers Ariana Grande the weekend there's all these different type of worldly singers that have a gift and an anointing regardless of how the fact that they're living like the devil so there's people who have gifts anointings because gifts and columns are without repentance but in terms of uh teaching and Christianity there's brother Brown talks about and the Bible actually says that uh that if there are signs but you know the person goes off the word then you leave them you know because sometimes they'll be Supernatural things that will happen and then people will be like oh look look at look what's happening here and that's actually kind of how brother Branham Ministry got started was it was a healing that he had a gift for Divine Healing and you could pray with people and then you could enter in a way that God would come on and Minister the person's need right there on the spot but the problem the thing is brother Branham never got off the word but if I always stayed with the Bible he always stayed true he never got off and and that's how we know he was a true Prophet but uh if someone were to come up with signs and wonders and they would maybe they had the same gift of healing their brother Brandon had but they start they start advocating for like polygamy they start saying oh give me all this money they start saying these weird things that don't align with the Bible then that's a false anointing that's meant to deceive people that's that's the that's what's falsely deceiving people because now they have a gift but it's going off the word and because we're elect we don't follow the signs we follow the word so if someone has signs and they stay on the word that's that's a true gift that's a true true uh teacher but if someone you know has a gift and signs and things happen but they go off the word and their Doctrine gets a little foggy and they start saying well maybe the Brandon wasn't all right and and I have a higher Revelation than brother Brandon and they start saying these weird things then it's like they're going off the word they're going against the Bible that's a false anointing meant to deceive people but if you're elect you're always going to follow the word you're not going to get off the word that's why the Bible is or absolute because as we stand the Bible we can we can tell who's false and who's true because though it'll always line up with the Bible which is exactly how we know brother Branham was Vindicated because everything he did lined up with the Bible so our absolute was always the Bible and how we yeah the the how we discern those things it's good stuff um Francisco the black says I think that's why when it comes to Christian music aside from the message I love charity Gail because of the way said before on one of them that I in my personal revelation my personal life uh charity Gail so I'd write just below message music um as far as what I like it is the some people are at the tip top of what they can possibly be without the message and it's really really good it's very it is very anointed and um uh William uh have a gifted feeling or just some people if they're feelings of Christ uh that's a really good question I that's a hard question um that'd be a better question for the Trevor ement um I'll take a screenshot of it but next time he's on that'd be a really good question for always said God was the Healer but he just had a gift in life but some people have gifts where they can pray and they can kind of venture in and kind of get closer but he God is always the Healer in the finished work my point is it's very subjective to a semantics I don't know whether it would be the good balance thing let's see if Mr Curtis says as Christians we have every threatened authority to take a song maybe someone that wasn't living right living growth and get the right anointing yeah I agree um okay let's see if uh Liverpool technically had signs and a gift of faith but he described it as a gift of healing okay um let's see in other words in other words a genuine message Christian she could sing a song a special song by Lauren Daigle or even like a gay person and them singing it would put a powerful anointing yeah I believe it 100 The Anchor Holds uh I'll rise again definitely is really really good and it's not that the art is the art what the artists do or do wrong shouldn't affect the art it shouldn't affect the the anointing that was Onyx clearly I'll rise again or uh or um The Anchor Holds or I pledge allegations land those are very uh there's a very anointed songs and find anointed people or the Trevor what's up brother Trevor someone just asked everything there he is someone asked uh I didn't know exactly how to answer it because I didn't want to say anything wrong uh did Brother Brown have a gift of healing or just telling people of their healing through Christ as a genuine question and delete that poster technically he had to get signs of signs as a gift of faith and a gift of faith but he described it as a gift of healing unless brother Trevor left after a joint you're still here okay what's up with the Trevor we're all uh like oh well for the Trevor design we're more qualified to talk about these things are way more uh steady that but many different things we are um do you have any more thoughts Mike um just always be available always you know live a life worthy of the Gospel uh we're all just doing our best every day but um realize that people want to live for a righteous life but they just need to see an example and have someone who is uh loving and understanding enough to kind of lead them I think that that's that's a good point to you know to remember yeah let's see brother Trevor says if he didn't have a what I've heard what what is that like I've never been a Sunday school teacher oh um that's fun uh it's nice you know just taking little nuggets out of the word and taking little little things here and there and just uh you know praying that they're edifying to my students and all those things so I'm just trying to be a good example and to bring things out of the scripture maybe in a way that you know they didn't see it before that can help them see all right you want to wrap things up in the next four minutes or the next nine minutes five time I don't know whatever whatever it works okay cool uh it depends on what you want to do yes like what specific what do you what do you want to teach about on the uh on the tennis school stuff foreign recently I've been teaching uh in Matthew 23 uh II Corinthians 3 and today for those who were there maybe they're still here uh Hebrews 11. so Matthew 23 is talking about how you know the we we have to be servants more than anything because the the Pharisees and the Sadducees they wanted the highest seats they wanted to be exalted they wanted you know to be put up on a pedestal because of their religious position and they wanted to put themselves in a religion a place of authority over the people but really God Jesus says that he that is your servant will be greatest among you so it's not about us trying to exalt ourselves but it's actually about us humbling ourselves and then God exalted us look at you know how humble brother Brandon was and how humility how humble he was and he was right in the angel of the Lord he would wait on things and he just had a an air of humility about him that allowed God to use in such a powerful way so it's just about walking humbly and and submitting yourself to God so that he can use you in whatever way it will be most edifying to those around you second Corinthians 3 is an assembly of light it's about being a walking epistle which is really what we've been talking about this live is being a walking official uh because Paul talked about how you know do we need letters of recommendation do we need to do we need to write letters out and we hand them out and be like hey guys this is the gospel this is the truth or do we just or is it written in our fleshy the fleshy tables of our heart is the gospel and what we believe is it written in our heart and so that we can live a life that other people just want to know and and that our lives will be recommendations in and of themselves so that people will want to lash under them and live the way we do and wonder wonder why we are the way we are and those things and Hebrews 11 today was just about uh it's about faith and realizing that the way God works you know a lot I was talking to all my students today that uh the way that the way the Royal royalties is that you have to see it to believe it you know if you didn't see it didn't happen you got to see it to believe it like oh what you know and and really the way God works is that you have to believe it to see it so you have to believe it and then it will manifest itself and come to pass because faith is the substance of things hope for the evidence of things that I've seen so really it's you have to believe for it and you believing in it is just as real as it being there and then it will manifest itself but people always want God to show himself they people like why isn't God you're so and so why doesn't God do this why doesn't God do that and I I decided a quote from faith is the substance where brother Branham you know literally he literally performed a miracle and the and the people the people didn't believe him they performed they said oh if she gets healed if this happens if that happens you know then then we'll believe but that person got healed and they stood in believe so it doesn't matter what people say it's really about how they it's really about having faith for uh Walmart Walmart's doing their reset right now of all their merchandise so you can get like a a um we have 40 or 30 uh ring light thing for like about 11 or even less because all other stuff is being they'll take literally in a lot of cases the exact same work device and repackage it into newer looking boxes to get more sales like it could even be the exact same thing like they did that with my ATT store with the charging block that's hilarious but so like your Sunday school teacher and you're teaching those things like advocating for the message and I'm assuming like how long you have how long have you been how long have you been as a medical teacher a year and some change I think last August was when I started so it's been a year and now almost a year and about a month and a half give it about a month and a half what so you know you've learned like you're teaching people things and being effective what would you say are the main lessons that you've learned and how to be effective as really a teacher also what is your age group for starters um age group is 13 to 18. wow how old are you I'm 22. 22 when do you turn 23 next April I'm older than you look at that sweet I'll be 23 in like a month and 14 days okay I'm keeping track okay so what would you say in the main lessons you've learned as a you know basically a teacher in order to be more effective from 13 to 18. you know uh uh there's a brother in Pennsylvania I believe his name is uh John Sanger and you know one thing I before I I became a teacher you know I I asked him for some advice and the main thing he told me was that make sure that they know you love them and whatever it is that you do just make sure that they know you love them and that's how you really get to their hearts is letting them know that you love them and uh I don't know let me see what am I doing just still watching maybe because Zoe is watching Isabella's watch yeah so so they're still watching but uh they know that I'll bring whenever whenever I teach I'll bring in some snacks and to me like that's just my way of uh letting them know I love them it's just every week I'm thinking about man what do they want well I saw how big cookies or like I'll just buy some fruit snacks or like I'll just get them something so it's it's not much but it's just the little things that you know I try to let them know that I love them in that way and and however I can you know and just and I I hope that that's uh even though it may seem kind of like a silly thing just to to give them a bunch of sugar but I hope hope in a way that me getting them those things and buying those things and and kind of I guess entering into that labor is kind of hopefully they'll understand the message that uh I do love him and I'm trying to you know help them out and not just I don't know I I just try to do what brother John said and try to let them know that I love them in whatever way I can okay we love you too Mike uh brother Trevor I love you brother Trevor that's really good so what do you mean by make sure they know you love them how what do you mean by that um just I don't know just let them know you care like because sometimes you know people can just see you like as a teacher and like that's all and or they can see you as like oh they can kind of see it just as like a roll like they just you just okay you're a teacher and you come up here and you tell us what to do and then we go upstairs and that's it but it's just about letting them know that I care about them individually as people like even sometimes even before we uh I teach Sunday school I just try to talk to them a little bit how the week was you know whatever it is but just just really trying to connect with them as as people and and instead of just being you know too formal but you know obviously there's a time to be hormones the time to be you know there's times to have fun and there's times to cut up and there's also times to be serious but just also I just want to connect with them as people so that they know that like I'm not just I don't I'm not treating Sunday school it's just like a nine to five like oh someone told me that's T-10 in school so I was walking here I read a Bible verses two and then you guys just walk out but it's like I actually do care about you guys and I hope you guys are really getting something uh out of this and and hopefully me getting them snacks is a way of me showing that in in a small way you get them snacks man they must love you a lot man you can do anything for the David Hoover stuff like Brother David Hoover at a camp when he's our counselor he brought us snacks and drinks and it was beautiful yeah they say a way that someone's heart is their stomach so what kind of snacks uh fruit snacks I've bit them cookies today you bake them cookies bro man man I I think I think I want to go to your student school like I'll just travel like a thought you know in heaven one day and get your Sunday school to get to those cookies bro what kind of cookies this chocolate chip just basic regular cookies but they like them so you bake them cookies yeah that's awesome that's really cool I love that make sure they know you love them yes sir good stuff that's that's really really good um let's see so yeah I once had a cynical teacher years ago years ago who gave us candy when we did store drills I won't name names oh cool [Laughter] sword drills okay so you're said you're so that is just awesome you that gave me really good ideas because now um probably maybe after this probably sometime tonight I'm probably gonna do another live where I just go through I do like uh put up notes and make it these are the rules for the live and also um to tell everybody I love all of you that's why I do these lives it's because I don't have all of you and I want to provide a platform where we can come together and have fun and learn and just hang out and be something good and wholesome also for me to be able to learn and do something good also with my time uh so I think that'll be good but I I love that make sure they know you love them I because I I do love everybody and I want everything to be successful um if you're any position in the church if you're a deacon if you're a assistant Minister if you're a pastor whatever it is just let the people know that you love them even when you have to correct them even when you have to you know beat them over the head with the words sometimes but you let them know that you're doing it out of love and that's one thing I've always appreciated about our pastor brother Dale brother Samuel Adele uh he every time he beats us over the head he tells us he loves us he's like just like our dad he's like you know who's going to tell you what he's going to tell you what's right but at the end of the day he's gonna say I love you and I'm doing this because I love you and I want you to see God truly so that that's always good to remember the love and that's how you you want people over and with love the same way that Jesus did isn't it it's really good it's comments bro no I'm not going to big banana bread ever again what you just banana bread yeah I break banana bread it was really bad I didn't give it to my son in school so they didn't they didn't have to suffer but interesting we're gonna have to do more of these Mike because I love the uh the dynamic both like talking and for long periods of time and we both have vastly it's kind of like a continuous thing different tempo but the same key it's like from I'm when the redeemed are gathering in to uh wonderful wonderful Jesus is to me too everybody will be happy over there to where could I go or my God is real or when the saints are Marching into I never shall forget the day uh Lord Lord you should have been good to me to uh I have decided to follow Jesus or I
