======================================== TRANSCRIPT ======================================== by number 26 in this live we go through what is it like attending a Catholic High School as a most believer what about church youth camps and what do we look forward to what we wish was different clicky things and things like that look forward to it what's up guys welcome to live I hope everybody's having an amazing day Leah Marvin Marie Garvin Hello everybody welcome welcome welcome we're gonna have uh Levi and Selah beata or B8 or have and what they pronounce the last name join here a little bit as soon as they join hello hello just waiting for them to get here and then I will go into the content with them what's up MRI we're here people to get here so are they here yet hello hello how's everybody's day go you guys have a good uh Saturday I think it's Saturday um Thomas and I mowed the law at the church or at least I did some of the weed eating and then lawnmower it was weird so Thomas did a lot of weed eating here we go hold on if it would work that would be amazing it's hi what's up hold on do you guys angle it a little bit down yeah yeah I got it oh the dog hold on I'll get her okay all right hello welcome welcome to life formally seeing you face to face over a call yeah yeah welcome welcome to life yeah what's the uh what's the pressure what's the pressure feel like ah no pressure nothing we're decent with public speaking so we're pretty we're pretty comfortable with it so yeah what does it take to be comfortable with public speaking doing it a lot a lot and embarrassing yourself in front of a lot of people especially her yeah okay we copied these uh questions onto a word pad uh which one of you guys wants to pray to start us out Heavenly Father we thank you for this day Lord we thank you for the many blessings you give us Lord may you just be with us during this time lord and may we just have good discussions Lord in your name amen amen amen good stuff so like uh public speaking then but public speaking to you guys do well both of us took a lot of public speaking classes and I'm in theater so I'm used to singing and speaking in front of like thousands of people so this is really no big deal for me your speech in high school and uh so I just kept on going with it and never really had a problem with it just the more you get out there the more comfortable you get with it so what what are the keys then to public speaking eye contact in one of them even if it's not with someone real just general eye contact UM don't say um a lot I mean I need to work on um um but no uh keeping the the hand gestures to a minimum because it's distracting um do you like just put them behind you in front of you on your face or what do you do with your hands well I mean it's for for a guy I think it's pretty easy to just go in the pockets you know um but uh I don't know if not I usually just go behind my back because if I am nervous and my hands are shaking then you can see you know yeah what about what about the uh you guys if you guys like watched uh Ash win or whatever his name is the the Asian guy that talks about public speaking no I've never heard of him before okay so let's see it's a v-i-n-h -city but he does a lot of that stuff but he does talk a little bit actually about uh the right hand gestures to make I'll have to send them to you could be interesting so do you guys both attend a Catholic high school or do you get what do you guys do how does that work so I'm in college now I've been in college for uh three years now and uh so but uh when I went to high school I went to a high school that offered engineering courses and so that happened to be a Catholic High School and so um high schools in our area aren't the best and that was the best option for our family the safest option what about uh uh what about homeschooling well if we were to homeschool then he wouldn't have the engineering opportunities he would have had if he would like to Carmel Catholic High School which is where he went what do you mean by engineering opportunities what exactly does that mean well I mean it it's almost impossible to do engineering based like Education Without like being in like the actual classroom so for me I took three years of engineering before I actually skipped my I combined my senior year and uh my freshman year of college so I took three years of Engineering in high school and I took uh just some easy like intro classes uh and then my favorite year was actually aerospace engineering so we did a lot of stuff with planes and Rockets and stuff like that so um you know that was my favorite because we actually if you go to my uh Instagram I have a picture or a video of me flying like a very cool plane so I I got a yeah dual enrollment right if you like that's what that's what I did so it's it's worth it because um you basically knock out your senior year and your freshman year all together that's awesome that's a lot of stuff what was it like uh do you go to a Catholic High School too see that no I was going to but then covered it and then everyone was already doing online school anyway so I just decided to keep on perform schooling and now I'm doing the same thing he's doing which is dual credit cool can you explain exactly what that is to uh to a homeschooler uh uh what do you mean like the experience or like dual credit start your freshman year of college but all the things that you do for college count towards your senior year credits so you're basically saving time okay you get out of school at a younger age it's like tailored content so like it would be stuff that you would see still in your senior year but also like in your freshman year of college too so they just kind of like combine it into certain classes so like the dual enrollment classes that we were taking were um uh some English classes math um chemistry yeah just some easy science stuff just so you can knock out it's usually pretty easy stuff yeah the math is relatively easy when you do college math because they just kind of want to get it over with know a little bit about coming from her because she hates me I don't like that with my whole life I struggle with math and you know terrible with it yeah so I'm more English inclined so it was surprisingly easy is it algebra or a geometry or what uh yeah it's a bit of everything this time I want to make sure you have some sort of idea of what math is so it's like algebra it's geometry it's pretty much the whole package just making sure you know stuff okay what was it like uh going to a Catholic High School as a message kid so um you know it was actually quite an interesting experience because you know when I went I I you know grew up in a message home and so everything that I learned up to that point was all from from home and from church and so going into a Catholic High School was definitely a different experience um you know I thought that it was going to be kind of um like almost like they were trying to push their ideologies on on you um but really that wasn't the case if anything you know anything that I learned um it just kind of kept me in the in the right direction as far as being a message believer and um you know I did take some religious religion classes but most of the stuff that I was learning was pretty much just basic Bible teaching as you know stuff that we would see in in the Bible itself so um definitely was a little bit different experience especially from from touring different public schools and stuff like that but um yeah if anything it made me grow closer to to what I believe I see so you're saying it was all amazing and everyone was always really nice or was what was the hard parts of it they were respectful yeah of his belief s they would you know they would treat me any differently for anything so I'm still friends with a bunch of people from school um so what was it like though encountering though that you guys even though they're nice you do believe vastly different from them like categorically well well um you know I don't think it ever really became kind of a a subject of issue I mean I I think we kind of related on on different terms altogether um and so anything that anytime I made a friend with someone it was just kind of based on different means you know I don't think I really ever had any clashing arguments with anyone about religion just because it was never brought up you know or anything like that or um I have a couple of times um it just I didn't want to uh kind of bring it up and up and shove it down the throat if they're willing if they were asking and if they're asking what I believe then absolutely I would have told them but um I you know I don't want to come across as someone that's like you will learn what I believe kind of thing you know if they weren't willing to ask and then I was willing to tell them about it yeah I see so I mean it's relatively it's a lot different from a guy to go through that versus like a girl because you know we can just put some put some footprints on put a pair of jeans on who cares um but for a girl I'm sure you probably face a little bit more uh critiques than he did what was it like for you Sheila I'm gonna go to a Catholic High School but I I do do Christian theater and they definitely like wonder about why I wear skirts and things but they never really they never really asked until like one day this one kid was like so hey what's the what's the big deal with the skirt thing like why are you why do you wear skirts and I was like well we believe that a woman should not wear garments at the things to a man and everyone at the table was like dead silence because a lot of the girls were wearing leggings and pants and things and he was like well are you going to like condemn me because I wear pants I'm like no because you're a boy but they they just kind of were very respectful they kind of assumed I was Baptist and I was like no nope not Baptist but um yeah that was pretty much it and then it was kind of like end of discussion Sarah wears skirts and that's the deal I want to read something comments I haven't seen anything so that's pretty much it they were just kind of respectful there's a lot of people that come from different belief systems so they were just kind of like hey you wear skirts that's great you don't cuss you notice that and that's wonderful and I think actually I they notice that I don't cuss and so when they're around me you're like oh don't don't cuss because sailor's here good stuff my dad actually went through something similar to that because when he played basketball with the guys at the gym they are at the park they would call him uh preacher they say hey preacher's here no cussing it was it was pretty cool yeah uh Levi has anyone ever told you you look like the guy from Wreck-It Ralph no that's a first you do holy cats hold on I have to show you this because this is amazing hang on we're getting judgment stairs she's just staring at us and barking at pipes with nothing in it but you guys literally have a lighting light that's a lot that's awesome professional setup were they yeah we were into the whole YouTube channel thing kid and we're not going to share any of those because they're really embarrassing but um did all of those good luck to anyone who can find the channel yeah those were embarrassing videos that we thought were really funny but they were just really strange let's see uh were you aware were the were the people that say if someone asked in the comments um by the way guys you guys can tell us where you guys went to school two people in the comments but were the people aware that you went to school with aware that you believe in a prophet no because if they would have said like hey like what is this little thing that you guys believe you would have said okay here's what here's the deal but they never really asked and I believe that you should just live the life in front of them and if they get more Curious then you say hey we believe this this and that but for now you just have to live the life in front of everyone else okay Levi you look you look like this guy like [Music] [Music] um remove this mouse let me see I'm gonna wreck it [Laughter] City yeah maybe a little bit he looks more like uh no no it just looks like I'm trying to use this okay yeah I I currently certainly understand but what do you guys think about uh referring one of them to like a tape or something like that I'd say Hey listen to this or yeah I I think it's a great resource it's wonderful uh since we stream our Grandpa's church it's kind of hard to say hey come to church with us you know because we we don't we don't really have a home Church like a building to go to so listen to church we don't have like a building to say like hey just come on over I'll show you so that's kind of hard to do but for now we're just kind of you know showing them what a Christian life looks like and if they get more Curious say hey come on over and we'll listen to this and I'll explain to you so I mean I was homeschooled but I have worked in the workforce for since I was 16. um and one of the things is that there's there even though they are Christian there's still things like really dirty jokes cussing swearing flipping each other off for fun dirty talk in general they find out you've never even kissed someone in your entire life then some people just can't let their mouth be closed so and if you cross over and you say the main guy record Ralph is Ralph yeah and as you cross over and you say anything that goes against everything you're ever taught they absolutely just love you you know if you say anything any dirty jokes anything like that and they will what was what's it like fighting against that because they'll love you it's dealing with peer pressure they will absolutely adore you if you say anything even considered as against what you believe in as dirty or whatever else like how do you guys deal with it okay so um well personally for me I played High School baseball um I played baseball from age five to 19. um and uh that's a really common thing especially uh cussing you know I mean it's it's everywhere in sports and everywhere you go no matter what level um but I think you know multiple times I've been asked like hey you know we people notice like hey you know cuss and whatever and I'm just like yeah it's just I think it's well a it's disrespectful in all accounts but being also kind of to me it gives you a certain image that like to me when you cuss it's like it it puts a certain image on on that person and it just kind of like I don't know how to exactly put it but um it it definitely puts a mark on that person yeah program says every person has a spirit whether good or bad every person has a spirit so the decisions you make and the things you decide to do with your life ultimately add up to your spirit so if you decide to cuss that's kind of like gives you like a weird feeling you know it adds to your spirit it's like it kind of paints it yeah yeah totally that is actually one of the reasons why I left four just because what a hard thing to realize as message kids is that not everyone's raised like this and we could just tell them it's a hard thing to face it by saying hey you guys shouldn't do that and they're like according to what they don't live by the Bible so it's it's a different standard it is normal to them um so like if you guys just like tuned it out or how do you uh how do you deal with that so um you know it to me I was around uh the the baseball kind of atmosphere and so it was really common and then eventually it just started to become a filter in my mind like at first it was kind of like man I you know I really liked hanging out with such and such person or I like being around these people and then and then there would be cussing involved and then uh eventually it was just that like the my brain just kind of filtered it out almost like it deleted the word from going in my mind you know so just you know and just staying strong with what I believe I mean I I'm a very hard person to break and so um I think just filtering it out was was one of the the options that I came up with you know and I think that kids feed off of other kids so if the all the old is you want to fit in everybody wants to fit in peer pressure exactly so if my friends are cussing I'm talking as a non-message person if they are cussing sure you'll go cuss too but if you're around people that don't cuss then odds are you're not going to cuss chameleon exactly you know what do you mean when you say I am a very hard person to break what does that mean um just with all the things that I've learned from uh you know Jesus being tempted and and just knowing what he had to go through as the Son of God um it it's really empowering to know how strong he really was and I think I read somewhere something to do with the military or something like that saying that we as humans most of us only use UH 60 of our strength in our entire life and so um I've I've read that so long ago it just stuck with me though and um just having just knowing that we we have so much more strength than we actually know how to use it's just it's it's mind-blowing and it really does help you apply like to your life saying I am stronger than than any Temptation that there is in the world you know thank you plus you guys have with Larry here as your pastor too so that helps yeah yeah sir and Grandpa yeah on so like you guys are in school growing up um what do you guys here's a good question what do you uh leave by first Levi what do you want out of life what's your problem what do you want to do for the next 10 years of your life let's say as far as work or just in general gold okay well um you know one of one of the things that I've always strived for as far as job goes is I've always wanted just to have I don't have to make a ton of money I just want to I just want to be uh consistent I don't I don't want to live paycheck to paycheck and I think most people don't want to live paycheck to paycheck so um I think that's one of the main goals for me is just consistency um and and having a a solid job that I know I can depend on um and uh in the next 10 years I don't know what's in store only God does but um I just want to keep living my life for him and and just seeing where life hates me um I can pretty much roll with the punches um but I do I do like to at least know something you know I think we all do um but yeah just kind of keeping with it keep on going and then uh we're planning on moving to Kentucky soon uh in the next year or so so hopefully we'll be down there and a little bit closer to some years yeah let us know when you guys do that I'll have to do something uh so like Okay um that's a really good answer but what what are you gonna do though like what do you want to do like the East moving and continuing the way God wants like there's so many areas there's the job you get there's you know you can stay single your entire life there's all the different things yeah what does Levi want from life I we were kind of raised to like live in the now like enjoy your life the present is it's truly a gift and we don't really like Kung Fu Panda yeah but we never really think like too far ahead because we want God to reveal to us opportunities as we go so we just kind of take one step at a time every failure leads to success everything you experience in your life ultimately leads to where you're supposed to go and so nothing is a coincidence everything in your life is going to happen for a reason so we're just kind of focusing on each day we're going to enjoy each other's company every day we are just gonna do school and one day we'll graduate and you know if there's a job opportunity then we'll take it you know it's kind of just like you don't need to think so far into the future because that's kind of God's job you're just here to just you know live the life you know read your Bible pray listen to service and that's pretty much what we do we just live each day as if it's going to be our last and if you've been too far in the future that's kind of like leaning on your understanding and that's not what we want to do so we just kind of trust in what God has for us and I think that's where people a lot of people will get anxiety from is just worrying too much about where they could be instead of working on themselves now and being a better person now rather than being someone better in the future you know why not why not change now what could be or why not change what could be changed in the future change it now didn't you guys Grandma just turned 80 yeah yeah she did yeah she's awesome she's doing great she's awesome oh so apparently I found that uh your grandpa was also my dad's Pastor in Zion Illinois my dad's Pastor that's awesome um so like yeah I know that you know what I'll give it to you guys that was about the best answer you could have possibly given but what do you want out of life if God walks up to you and he says because like yes you don't want to plan ahead but at the same time what man builds a house before he just first says what should I put in this house and all these different things what do you guys want out of life if God says Hey for the next 20 years you get what you want what would you have happiness general ones the I'm talking to like okay I'll give you my answer so you have idea what I mean my answer I want to have kids be married uh I want to have an awesome job a bunch of money put away a cool car still be preaching she'll be song leading and uh be outrageous generous and um attention we can give her some attention there's people that love dogs here everybody loves dogs he just hates everyone and everything so hold on we've gotta okay yeah she's good yeah she doesn't like to be picked up either so it's like in fact yeah she's really fat that's a question what you said I think I think most people want to have another eventually um but you know I I think a lot of a lot especially kind of Our Generation we do put a lot of things on uh material things you know and they're great you know I mean I love I love material things I mean I love my piano I love you know certain things but I think you know well like I mean sayla's birthday party last year was an experience I love experiences I mean I would rather take an experience over any material thing out there what's that even a Lamborghini I could grab a toaster as long as it gives me from point A to point B he he's the car guy you guys I'll take the lambo or Porsche or whatever you want to throw my weight I'll take it let's see what we can do I guess yeah if you like Teslas for a while you do did you see my my story about the uh yeah they're coming out with the new one okay that'll be cool yeah if we could start GoFundMe for a Lambo in the comments that would be great so like see where do you draw the line then so you like experiences rather than material things so are you where you draw the line on things that work like I know you have an iPhone 14 pro why don't you have an iPhone 11 Pro it would work just as well and cost a lot less yeah yeah what do you mean by the question I mean like so you like experiences rather than uh material things so for instance instead of spending thirty thousand dollars in a car and you can spend five thousand dollars in a car take to the 25. save some of it and maybe like go to Europe or whatever so where are you going to line between experiences you want to have and things you want to buy well the thing is is I don't want to experience something as long as I'm doing it alone so as long as I had a family and friends that I enjoy being around then we could literally go clean sewers and I'd be like I am in you know it doesn't matter where we go as long as I'm with them because every experience that that we do we always make it fun we make everything fun we're doing the dishes we're going to make it fun so as long as I'm doing it with the people that I love which sounds really cliche uh but that that's what I want I just want to be with family that's it I love family and friends and those type of experiences I those are the things that I hold here and not like I could I could throw my phone away tomorrow and get a flip phone like I I could throw everything that I have away as long as I have God and family and wherever he takes me that's where I want to go that's the experiences that I want you know when I when I think of experiences uh one of my favorite experiences ever was we were in Kentucky and this house was going out for auction and it was like a super old house like 1800s old Montana that was a log cabin it was like it was like a farmhouse falling with pieces but they just like like all their old stuff is in there so uh we were walking around the property and walking inside and it was really cool to just see like uh pieces of like written paper of things that people have written from the 1800s yeah it was cool to share that experience with our family members it was it was preserved in time but it was also like there was just like stuff there that had been like obviously like depreciated and so it was like it was it was still the same but it was also like super old like I think there was like a like we picked up something and it just like like fell the dust in our hand when we picked it up so like that those kinds of experiences the things that you can remember in your entire life is worth more than anything that I could possibly own you know um like right now my dad and I are restoring a truck for my my first car um it's a 1955 Ford F-100 and it's sick um but you know the end result is going to be cool but it's the experience that I'm getting and the experience of doing it with my dad that's worth more than than the actual truck itself because I'm gonna remember those memories in my mind of us you know painting and sanding and putting the pieces back together and stuff like that so interesting interesting so what what advice did you give people that are materialistic and are thinking of switching to being like experiences what do you think the advantages of being experiences versus material things are I think just find the people that you click with the people that you love and just have fun Just Go Bump the volleyball in the front yard just for fun go drive around in the car and listen to Christian music you just find the joys in the journey you know um if if you can find the joys and the little things that you guys do together with with certain people I think first off you have to find those people that you you really enjoy being around and then after I think it's important to just find the certain joys in each and everything that you do from from the car ride to wherever place you go to the the actual experience just hanging or going out to eat I mean I can tell you countless stories of us just going to going into Mexican restaurants you know I don't know I'm just saying and a perfect example of this is I don't know if you know do you know Austin Hera yeah I do yeah he's our cousin all the heroes are our cousins and when I was four and he was six and Austin was like 16. he used to live here and he came over to our house and it just so happened that he was gonna spend the night but there was a tornado warning and there ended up being a tornado and we were like Austin are you sure you don't want to go home I mean he's like no this is great I have a great time and it literally powers out no air conditioning dead of Summer and he's like I don't say this is great and so we all uh put blankets in the living room in our sleeping bag and we slept in the living room and we had a wonderful time I was four years old and I still remember that I'm sure he still remembers that so it was just such a good experience out of something that should have been and could have been a bad experience so cool let's see someone asked what experiences are at the top of y'all's bucket list oh um probably I would like to go to the country I think that would be cool just anywhere different than here um and just I'd like to do something like skydiving I think that's cool stuff like that so those are kind of like my top three so skydiving going to another country what else please don't think about it oh you can't yeah you've never been no no no where have you been to byc yeah yes a long time ago though we went to twt um how long ago we went to twt two years ago that was two years ago two years ago Oh I thought that was last year um and then we went to byc in like 2016. yeah I was like 12. he was like 14. um but as far as my bucket lists I don't know um um you know I actually a recent one that I thought of uh I actually just like made my first like produced song um and I I always I think it would be really cool for just like other people to use it in like reels and stuff like that I think that would be really cool just to see like other people use my stuff I think that would be really cool even if I didn't make any money from it I think they would just be cool to just see people use it um yeah that's one of them um experiences hmm as you can see we're very role with the punches kind of people so whatever comes up we're like hey that's cool we want to do it so super scroll through Instagram and see someone sailing in Europe we're like sure that sounds great so I mean I want to play you won one-on-one how tall are you six three how much do you weigh two well okay so I lost a bunch of weight so I'm 215 right now but I was I was uh 240 in March so lost a little bit of weight all right yeah let me know when you guys go to uh Kentucky we'll figure something out all right are you gonna be at Bethel maybe I'm on the waitlist so we'll see are you guys yeah we'll be there cool Maybe play some one-on-one or something that'd be fun it'd be interesting what do you think you'd probably beat me if you play all the time I mean I played quite a bit oh but but I I beat him before so that is true she has beat me but I will say okay back to the experiences thing I want to dunk I've been trying to dunk for like three years maybe longer than that four years I've been trying to dunk for the longest time I'm almost there I'm at nine and a half I'll get there yeah so I'm too short for that fair enough uh Levi do you plan on copywriting your music um I don't know right now probably not I just think it would be cool just to see people enjoy it um but maybe in future if it pops off and it does well maybe I could make that a career path I don't know I enjoy music so I could totally see that minion career path that's something that I can make sustainable like I said sustainable is is key so I don't wanna I don't want to make one decent song and then have nothing you know and then I meant back to doing whatever loading garbage oh man that was too fellow but you know what I mean yeah so uh speaking of Youth Camps uh what parts do you look forward to and what do you guys wish was different I mean obviously I look forward to the services I look forward to seeing the different speakers um and I look forward to the fellowship and meeting new people I want to say community I love meeting new people and and I think it's a great experience they like walk up to some random person and say hey where are you from what's your name and that that's what I love to do it may be kind of challenging for some people just to say like how do I like go up to someone and just start talking but I'm just like hey if you're alone I'll go talk to you you know we'll find something we'll figure something out so I think the fellowship is what I look forward to and just all the fun stuff we get to deal with one another and just kind of building memories like I said experiences yeah notice how everything we've said is a lot of experience case so yeah which I think most campus camps that's uh yeah I mean I think it's cool to play sports with everybody especially seeing everybody come from different parts of the country in different parts of the world sometimes it's cool to just see a bunch of people who have really never been together in one place come together and fellowship you know thank you cool okay what are your wishes different about camps [Music] they would say like hey find someone new to sit with like don't sit with everyone you normally sit with like just one day maybe one day just be like hey go find someone new meet someone new sit with someone else you know I also always say I wouldn't take Sports so seriously you wish they wouldn't take Sports so seriously yeah I'm fine with the competition sports that's where we three part ways I think the volleyball you don't like competitive Sports so you so you're loser then me oh yeah do you like winning do you like losing which one do you like more I like having fun and winning having fun it's not losing though waiting is having fun I guess I guess yeah a closet competitive person kinda I will destroy you yeah she doesn't realize how competitive she actually is yeah I used to play basketball volleyball I used to do ice skating and we seriously have floor hockey do you know what that is no it's essentially hockey but you're just on gym floor and that's that's what we did in elementary school so yeah we've made up Sports too I mean obviously I think tons of people have but we made one called Rollerball it's so dangerous it's not even funny I don't know why I'm spoiling volleyball on roller skates why because we can that's such a bad idea yeah yeah one day we were just like you know we're tired of playing each other let's just throw on the rollerblades and see what happens it's fun it's fun so dangerous I was just kidding so I don't think you're actually a loser I just have fun with people who say oh I just want to have fun it's just bro winning is fun yeah because one thing I would put above winning and that is having the power to beat someone but letting them win because if winning is more important than losing your studio yeah when I was 16 at Louisiana Camp I uh I let a little little kid win in uh in knockout when there's like a line of like 50 people and I was winning all the time but I I let him win because it meant more to him and he loved it and I made it look like I almost won and he loved it it was pretty cool [Laughter] just the difference between me and him I I let all the little kids win but you can't block people and knock out so hopefully just let's go this all right Levi who who the most important question who's the goat in basketball LeBron John James I'm messing with you removed come on now it's uh come on six rings okay I'm gonna have to show you the video I watched today of someone making a case where someone told me that Kobe made Kobe wasn't in the conversation there's a picture that showed Kobe LeBron Shaq Jordan Curry and Durant and said if you had to bench one of them who would you bench and someone said bench Kobe because he's not even in the go conversation I watched a video that maybe changed my mind because in my mind personally I put Kobe number two Jordan one Kobe two maybe LeBron three or something like that mostly because of the person that he is that LeBron is you know his politics and his arrogance and his I'm the greatest of all time his playing is really good but he created the concept of super teams and oh I tried I don't like that part okay I think that's obvious after that is tough because like you could make so many different Arguments for so many different people like uh Magic Johnson I mean insane he's got so many rings too he got Bill Russell who has eight rings I think 11 11. okay never mind 11 Rings okay obviously he played Lily of an era but 11 rings with the 11. he also played with uh 10 different Hall of Famers in his team that's true you got a point but I mean still when you when you talk about Jordan the first thing you say is how many rings does he have he's got six he's got more than he has fingers on one hand you know so I mean I guess I would put Jordan at one I'll give LeBron three I mean all-time Point later that is insane he's a male he's made a lot of balance um but number two that's tough I may have to give it to Kobe just because of how clutch he was I mean when you don't really realize it but he was clutch I mean if you put the ball in his hands he's gonna make it you know so what do you think about this I don't watch sports that often though gibberish so well I it's funny because people ask like what's this what's the goat because they're like well what do you mean by goat because Jordan and Kobe are going to shoot the last shot 100 of the time and LeBron will only do it 80 of the time you know like LeBron passed it to someone else in the final points we had someone like seven or eight inches shorter than I'm guarding him with game one of the finals in 2016 or 2017 I think but okay interesting Levi and I am missing why is LeBron 2 Nate why do you think I want to know I need to know I mean he's good after what I watched today I have a pretty pretty good case for uh for Kobe or Lebron you know more rings with less help yeah totally Space Jam number two made his whole Legacy I don't even watch it John I gotta send you the uh John Modi I got to send you that video that I watched uh making Kobe the goat it was it was really good really good case I hope you're gonna go oh Jordan also passed it to Steve Kerrville Backson crucial path games he's still the goat yes but those are planned ahead and they weren't um spur of the moment I mean anybody that is anybody you're gonna make a point because they have they're on a team they have to play with other people it's not like it's not like you're just gonna take over you know yeah I mean I don't just I don't just mean at some point yeah I don't just mean the the one time where he passed someone else I mean in general he's more like he's 20 times or he's 20 of the time he's gonna pass it to someone else rather than shooting the last shot because that's who LeBron is he's a passer yeah drift as much if maybe if maybe not more than a scorer he's a facilitator he's not a killer like a Killer Instinct guy he's a he's good he's respected but he's not feared okay all right so I assume both of you don't want to stay single for the rest of your life so pet peeves what are you guys as pet peeves what are your non-negotiables Levi or let's see lessons there whatever you Levi you go first then second you can uh cannot attack non-negotiables okay pet peeves is easy I can't stand gossiping and like giggling it's like I think YouTubers are like obsessively giggling yeah I I do not like it um what is gossiping to you what do you mean by gossiping talking behind your back I mean I think that's with anything but I mean especially someone I think it's fine to like talk about people but like uh like take I don't know just kind of um talking about the negatives about someone else trying to like you know confuse them or or give them a different I think it's terrible um but the technical definition is uh casual or unconstrained conversation or reports about other people typically involving details that are not confirmed as being true like tomato there's this vast difference between someone that you that actually happened and it is true then what I heard and you say it and you don't know if it's true or not that that's gossip so is it silo or sailor why why isn't it why is it Kayla and not Selah because at the end of scripture you say say la and not see law but we say Selah we say Salem Sala yeah and and our person just sounds cooler so laughs all right interesting all right what what do you what more pet peeves do you have what are you not okay it's two different things actually separate that Miller pet first what are your pet peeves let's say in people in general and then in a mate okay I would say just like not being confident I feel like that's something in a in a future spouse that's kind of something that um that it's kind of like if you're not confident then I'm just like maybe you're not a confident in yourself I don't know but I guess arrogance I don't like people who are like arrogant and boasts I think that's not attractive um that's about it it should have be like hygienic obviously you know just like the the basic stuff but I don't I'm not really that picky but I'm also like not looking right now so yeah that's about it I mean I think I think the the confidence thing is a good one I think everybody's got to have confidence um but uh yeah I think uh you know there are some things that you can do physically that are that are pet pigs but I think mostly um I think just being confident in yourself and being confident in what you believe is two things that I think you definitely should have so I think that's some good ones um and I think they can go both ways for just writing for people in general or uh you know just looking for a spouse I think confidence is key um and then uh let's see I had one more um oh no no maybe blink um well I'll go ahead and answer a question someone asked what are your expectations for a man uh first of all they have to be a man and have always been a man that's that's the first that's the first the first thing um I just think they have to be obviously put the Lord first I feel like if we don't do that then what are we doing here you know so thank you the Lord first then that's like a yeah goodbye I think I think definitely having your priorities in check is is definitely something and just like overall respect I think that's kind of uh goes without saying may God have respect for everyone you have to be kind to everyone not just the people that you want to be friends with just everyone in general so what else that's what I think but I could be wrong I mean those are all really good things but you know everybody have those what else uh like what do you mean what do you mean by that David what do I mean by that um that would be like uh you know like does he have to be an outside person inside person love theater hate theater uh if you whatever I think I I really I'm not that picky like I said they just gotta be themselves that that sounds like oh here's one does he need ABS what about the physical fit part does he have I only say a guy who has the six packs anything less than a six-pack no you could just go you just go now I just have to like take care of themselves uh that's about it I don't really say like you have to look like a Deca Chad in order for me to consider but you know you just gotta take care of yourself that's that's all I'm not really you know yeah so okay so like uh she said confidence is key but not arrogance what's the difference confidence is being in your own ability but not boasting about it like having good things and having talents but not saying like hey I do this and that and then this map uh having confidence is just having an air about yourself or you're just like whatever I'm gonna do I'm gonna do excellence and I can do it and I'm not going to doubt myself but both thing is like hey look at me I can make this half court shot watch this you know it's not it's like okay I get it I get it you know I can play this this and that sport I get it okay I get it but if you just say if you just do it then I'm like wow that's great you didn't boast about that that's great you know you get like not boasting about your talents but still being talented yeah I think just just I think confidence really is just trusting in yourself um I think uh you know sometimes when you do have some abilities because everyone's unique um I think when you do have some abilities some people don't have I think is pretty easy for you to want to show that off and I think just being confident is really just letting other people um see you and see what you have to offer instead of uh having to explain it yourself okay how much money does you have to make uh only a million dollars a year what are they saying in here in here bro anything less you know if you work at a gas station no no you can go okay I I really it doesn't matter to me what you do as long as you're doing something you know you could work at a gas station I'd be like you got a job you know what about the homeless guy that holds up the sign okay no you gotta have a house okay interesting interesting okay what about uh aspirations that's all I gotta have goals if you don't have goals then I'm just like whatever but I thought we're supposed to say Hey you say You're Gonna flow at the moment What's the difference between goals and flowing with the moment well my goal is to graduate college but that is a long time ahead so for now each day I'm just gonna enjoy each day and I'm gonna do my schoolwork I'm gonna turn in my assignments on time and be a good student but I'm gonna live in the moment that's not gonna consume my every thought you know Eli Morocco's are more attractive than Bongos just saying okay what anyone here okay what's tomorrow do you go to school for maracas do you go to school for it okay Moroccan like Maracas tamarine the triangle like you can you can all do those like everyone can do that that's what they give all these young talented kids in band you know they gotta have something I play bongo drum uh I I what's the most attractive instrument a guy can play from Joseph Cochran um the piccolo no I'm kidding um I mean I guess like the guitar the guitar it really doesn't matter though The Bongo drones I'm kidding um yeah I guess the guitar but that really doesn't matter it shouldn't matter and there was that like hey I'm falling for you because you can play these chords you know that's that doesn't matter to me okay um what about age for dating recording marriage like what are you guys opinions on that I think it depends on the individual person but for me I think you should at least be 18 but that is a very controversial very controversial opinion so I'm just gonna PhD a masters a doctorate you I I don't know really I just I'm just gonna do what I do and if I get a degree then that is great but I'm not really like saying I need this degree I'm just like if it arises then sure I'll go for it that's about it but back to what you're saying about you know the age for dating and everything to me I think it's just whenever you personally are ready for a family that in my opinion yeah you should date with the intention of marrying if you're dating without the invention what are you doing yeah it's like dating is finding out who you want to marry if you're not if you're not if you're dating and don't want to marry then what are what are you doing is it that's just a game to you yeah yeah fair enough that's what I was drinking drinking uh polar premium club soda it looks like me is that it's a club soda carbonated water um I think carbonated water is disgusting personal favorite is the unflavored bubbly how many kids is too many kids no how many kids is too many um the Duggars the what the Duggars do you know what Duggars like this TV show where they had like 20 plus children it was crazy 20 plus children and that's like four basketball teams Eli Levi we got a we gotta we gotta look this stuff up man like 20 kids there's a lot of basketball teams you could have a full family tournament yeah exactly you just have exactly there you go okay so a lot of people don't know who the Duggars are the Duggars back in like the 2000s had this show like okay this is like 20 no that was it was a long time ago it was like my two assets anyway they were this Christian family who had I think they're more they're really Mormon or something um that's pretty much just had a bunch of kids and people were like yes people want to see this and so they just put a camera in front of them follow them around that's about it they have I think they have like 23 kids right now I haven't paid 23. yeah yeah they had a weird Scandal I don't remember what it was though it had somebody with the oldest brother interesting yeah okay so like how many kids you guys want to have when you guys have kids none no I'm kidding um I'm I'm joking I love kids I think sorry I think three I think I would want okay I'm weird with numbers so I like even numbers so I think I only have even numbers yeah so I think I would want either like two or four I don't but two or four the third if you're the third kid man because like I you're in trouble I I I want to have a lot of kids but I don't want them to go um unnoticed on a middle child yeah all the middle children out there sorry yeah he doesn't like you hey someone asked how many kids I want to have uh my wife has the really hard part you know so really as many as she wants to have but honestly if I had if I got what I wanted I'd have eight kids same as my parents did what if you only had wanted to have one sure I'm not I'm not the one going through maybe the worst pain there is so it's really optimistic would you ever adopt yeah probably sure as long as they're awesome what if they're not awesome they will make them awesome you know my kids regardless of where they come from they're going to be the uh the greatest Giga Chads to ever exist and face the planet it's gonna be amazing like the kids are going to be the greatest ever what you don't like uh what if your kid is like like not then they'll be really good at Monopoly I don't know something like that with kids like find the thing you really love and be really good at it you know probably Monopoly Monopoly or risk chess [Music] you think that's bad there's a game called Supremacy and it's Monopoly and risk and cell is a Catan mixed you have armies and you conquer the world and you pay for your armies you buy from the stock market you sell from it you can buy nukes and you can buy all stars that block the nukes it is awesome I have Lord of the Rings Risk risk is also longer than Monopoly I know um in the time it takes to play Risk I you're probably right actually but the thing is I'm super boring I love life in general and the board game so life is my favorite I like life and a lot of people don't like that so but I'm a card guy dude I love like Skip-Bo you know that kind of stuff is like the bottle Skip-Bo is great Uno also great to see Joseph Cochran I have played Lord of the Rings Risk with David and I will never again there we've played like almost five years ago and we played for like seven hours and we did not finish the game that does not sound like fun no no [ __ ] crazy if you know where it is that's great let's see hey um Monopoly is very fun uh let's see Uno Superior hey you know maybe I mean Annapolis caused a lot of uh chess do you guys playing chess okay so like one thing I can think about it for a while we can play checkers yeah like Cracker Barrel Checkers have you ever done that you know what the big Checkers you can play that that's probably the last time we played Checkers and I can also play the little triangles they give you that Cracker Barrel you know with the pegs yeah it was just like very very soon I need you to put that on my wrist you guys are funny like yeah I'm I'm doing college courses in high school and I want to go to college and graduate no no way I don't play chess I want to play checkers is for simple-minded people exactly bloody knuckles what in the world is bloody knuckles um not do you not know what that is do you not know what that is okay stay in front of each other and we punch each other's Knuckles until one of us gives up so one of us says I'm done whoever quits first loses they're really dunking what about like what if you up the Angie and you slapped each other guys don't slap each other unless we're done professionally like on a stage of people watching and you know chalk on their hands and stuff now one thing I was thinking though like you guys talk about what David have you ever sparred with anyone yes whoa I've done it no no you know so you guys took Taekwondo Taekwondo yeah I did sparring too my mom my mom and my sister Ruth are black belts in Taekwondo whoa I'm not that good no no you guys want to see me do a punch I yeah yeah okay I sure did I did I did uh Taekwondo and I also did uh Tai Chi and Tai Chi makes it where your punches are way more powerful but if you do a Tai Chi one and you sink your weight into the ground give me a second here do it I would not want to be that tear right now there you go that's the Tai Chi what happened to Salem I'm here I just left the chat for a second oh there you go so yeah that's Tai Chi they teach you to transfer the weight of your where your feet through the chair or whatever it's fun what do you think so what what makes it more like powerful like what does chat have your sister sit at the pill right and you want to try to punch the pillow as hard as you can right then like put your hand up in the air and just let it fall without adding any weight to it and it'll hit the pillow harder than actually punching it and if you can relax try to root all of your weight into the ground with your feet and like uh like try to do the punch and just transfer the weight from your feet through the chair and not try to do with your might then you'll actually get all the weight in your feet like you're actually your body weight through your body and full fall through with it interesting it's hard to explain but I did like three months of Tai Chi it's pretty cringe to watch and to do but but the people that do it really really well they can break like a cinder blocks you want me to do it another time someone's saying one more all right I'll do it again you got a cinder block you can break I don't I was never that good um actually I signed a three-year contract to do it and then the world ended that was when uh then the you know the covet started so I never got to actually go again for over three and a half years so there he goes nice punching bag no I'm not breaking my guitar you got a new guitar you can use your old guitar yeah guitar well the one I have one of the I have two at the church one at the church sorry Maybe maybe some other time but yeah Taekwondo well I I have my pads so if you guys have like uh sparring pads we could totally do that I've been I haven't I haven't laced up in like seven years or something crazy seven years sparring oh no no way you can use Tai Chi for kicks yeah probably I just never uh never learned that part of it what um [Music] like if you're ever alone at night and you're just like seven guys come and pounce on you is that like what this knowledge is for or is it just for fun uh as far as Tai Chi one of the main parts of it is for um relaxation and Longevity um um is for longevity and for um health reasons um as far as we have seven guys whatever um I mean for one week ages if someone's right in front of you and being stupid and you stink your way out into the ground and if they come up real close to you and want to fight you you can just do one punch and get whatever honestly they'll just run would be better I I didn't immensely do it a whole whole lot but do you guys have anything you guys can show us from Taekwondo yeah that memory another life now it's uh you know Joe and Noah Cochran were up here in July and we were throwing each other out of pools I wasn't they we came up with a game we come up with games all the time I told you and uh the game was whoever can throw the other guy out of the pool wins I lost so yeah they're strong interesting okay okay what about um let's see okay so like when you're talking about experiences and this is a little ship experiences versus material things so like I was thinking like because I have material things but I was thinking like I also love experiences and my like my score on like personality test is very high on um on open to openness to experience I love new experiences I went right while we're rafting for the first time of the day was awesome uh so the I do have material things but the material things that I have make experiences is better so for instance I have this pair of earbuds saying I was sometimes momentum two illustrates they're like 300 earbuds I got them for like 160. but they make it where every single time I ever listen to anything it is the best experience I can possibly have and that makes it where I want to keep it or like a guitar yes it is material thing but it creates experiences whereas you know if I bought a signed rookie card of Michael Jordan as wonderful as that would be it's just going to sit in a shelf doing nothing it'd be cool but I'd rather something that I can create experiences with where like a phone you know iPhone 14 pro you can create experiences with that rather than you know buying a really expensive pair of sunglasses it's just sunglasses you know uh do you guys do uh what do you guys think of that I agree um you know obviously I think one advantage that we have over other Generations is just the easy ability to take pictures and videos and stuff with the technology that we have and so um it's it's better to capture those moments that you can experience like uh you know we slow pictures of us going to the Grand Canyon and stuff like that and it's just it's stuff that obviously you remember the experiences but it also helps you to remember those experiences too just to see what you look like back then and you know what age you were and whatever so okay see uh Esther Curtis hey that I missed the live with my dad I definitely went back and watched it though it was good you want to say that well glad you liked it Esther I just liked it hey sorry we hear that you did you do Benjamin whatever the word is venture qualism or whatever yeah that's that thing can you do some for us yeah actually um my mom used to threw my puppet in here so all right let's see it good luck so at the end of my shows that I do I do these things called the strike party where I'll bring her in and she'll just kind of summarize the show for us so she'll talk like this and interact with the audience and I just won't move my mouth and she's usually very sassy so we don't really get along that well and that's that's usually the bit is that I'm the best at everything and and I'm not she's always degrading me every day she can definitely sing much better than me but you know that's what we do at the end of our shows is and all the little kids love it they always want to stick their fingers in her mouth so that's always a good it's a good time for them so yeah that's really good do some more for us that's awesome what's your name again what is her name [Music] what is her name my name is Lola Lola uh what what do you uh what are your biggest pet peeves Lola um what do you mean by that like in general things that you hate I mean you're a puppet but I'm sure there's some things are pretty annoying to you and which people would stop doing what do you think I kind of like you about putting your hand up my [Music] mind that really annoying um people touched my face thanks I also think that I'm the best thing around so yeah she thinks she's the best so people she doesn't like when people think that she's not so you're not the best Lola sorry how dare you say that yeah what makes you the best Lola what makes you any better than Elmo Lola my ex how dare you mention him look that's terrible yes much better than him she can how long have you been doing this how long has Sala been doing this Lola um let's see around four years four years four years well you're so Lola can you sing something for us uh sure okay um [Music] don't fuss the point folks don't pass the cup I figure the barrel down and out the only way is up and I'll be up like a house but high on the line don't bump your nose and take a different one I'm a little bit started out where I'm gonna let me give me some and look at the world here I come wow Lola you are the greatest of all time you're the real girl thank you watch out Jordan but I'll take it I'll take it you know that was amazing yeah that's really good I'll put her away now she's just kind of a nuisance so later on what is your like absolutely amazing uh Talent Levi oh not that let's see who is your inspiration for Vince ventril ventral liquism who is your inspiration for ventriloquism [Music] um and I was like you know what that looks pretty easy and I just started doing it and I found it was like hold up you can actually do that like nine people can do that because I was like really and they're like yeah so for Christmas they got me a puppet and it wasn't her it was like that cheap like generic girl puppet and so as I started doing these things called strike performances at the end of my shows and they're like okay we need the we need to upgrade so that was actually a custom made one that I got three years ago yeah interesting what uh how can you do these things with uh without um moving your lips oh so basically I watched a lot of YouTube a lot of YouTube videos they're like here this is how you pronounce m with your LLC this is how you do this well okay so actually it first started when she randomly came downstairs and started talking with her mouth closed it was it was like it was decent but it wasn't like fantastic and then uh and then she just started like looking up YouTube videos and stuff just to say like because you can't say certain letters in in with your mouth closed like that so it's hard to say d t or let's see D's D's anything that is kind of like the same kind of pronunciation it's it's hard because P you shut your mouth for it so you just say like tea but it's like a certain way that you say tea you know yeah you gotta like position your tongue in like a certain way in your mouth like behind your teeth so it'll like close yes interesting uh Levi we hear you play the piano super well is this true yeah he's really good can you play some for us Levi okay fine if that's what the people want is that the piano did your mom teach you the piano Levi or do you have a knack for it okay so I so I started uh what my world's going on here uh oh vlogger Levi um so I I I started like when I was like eight or so I like read notes um and then I kind of got out of it because I just found it boring and so um in I just kind of lost interest to all together and then in 2020 when everything shut down and I was at home uh I was like you know what I should pick it up again but I want to do it by ear because most people play by ear and I think it's cool and you can just kind of put your own creative spin on it you know so I learned by ear and I actually learned taught myself through like a guitar tabs app which just like you put in a song that you know and then it gives you it spits out all the chords for you to play so like I would just start by if it uh let's see um if it was uh A Whole New World from from uh Aladdin it would be like unbelievable that's it feeling that's it I would just I would just that's it and then I would teach myself what what the actual like melody was so anyway [Music] so um that's basically how I taught to myself was just kind of putting the two and two together and then uh I would just just keep learning songs and then I real what would help me the more songs that I would would uh learn the more I realized how much certain songs sound like other songs and so it would it would just kind of mix together and and uh and and help me learn other songs faster and so now I'm kind of getting to the point where I can kind of pick up on certain songs Just By Hearing them once without actually like like doing it golden hour [Music] [Applause] [Music] people [Music] [Applause] [Music] that's really pretty good job well can you do the press the Caribbean theme song it's been a minute [Music] I'll have to I would have to hear that one again it's been a minute let me absolutely [Music] there it is [Music] thank you so long since I used to be able to play that I've been a minute that was really good wow um actually I I just like I said I just wrote a song uh I just wrote a song uh I put it in my my bio if any wants to check it out it's called Morningstar um can you sing a course of it or adversive or something like that but I'll play it okay [Music] foreign [Music] clapping from the other room that's really good man wow anyone uh does anyone have any uh requests that I might know can you do all of me or some Beethoven or something [Music] not that one no I'm talking about it's a it's a different piano one from by The Piano Guys I have never ever played rushy I need to learn that um while you look that up I'll play uh [Music] foreign [Music] thank you [Music] it's amazing [Music] foreign thank you so amazing I think all righty that was really good you guys are really talented wow yeah I appreciate it see I'm guessing do you sing too Levi uh a little bit but not as much as say what I'm gonna say I'm gonna see you really sing okay these are cool what exactly is musical theater so theater is just talking like just dialogue but musical theater is with songs like sing within the dialogue okay cool yeah [Music] I think why is this not going in I'm not gonna figure out why I was not charging okay all right interesting so pivoting we talked about pet peeves the ages for recording and everything else what do you know Levi what are your non-negotiables in a girl foreign question um I think uh probably my top I would say my top one would have to be um putting the Lord before myself you know obviously I want my wife to love me but I wanted a love of the Lord more than myself um so that would have to be a non-negotiable um I think uh let's see let me get back to you let me think on it hang on one second let's see I got like pet peeves it's all mine for people if a girl doesn't have a good relationship with their parents that's a pet peeve a pippy was like using them as a shield like oh my parents don't want this when they are the ones that don't actually want something yeah yeah or um they can't quite fathom the other people of other perspectives besides them and they may not be right about it or at least there is no big right about a certain thing there's just different perspectives that's a puppy um non-negotiable for me is she's got to have a good relationship with the parents you know that's just you have to because if you don't then it just what follows is strict parents or too leaning parents and it's usually not a good balance idea of your thoughts do you have your answer yet yeah uh I I would say you know obviously having a good relationship with your parents but also just having a good general relationship with your family as well I think you know if you're if your family is a direct reflection of how you're going to treat others and so if if you treat your family with you know disrespect um then that could translate to your your relationship as well so I think a having a good relationship with your parents but also having a good relationship with your siblings and cousins is also super important because that's how if if they treat their their family well then they're going to treat you well as well and also um just being yourself and not putting on a mask I think um you know that was a a obvious one for me was just being yourself is because I don't want to uh get to know someone and then have to learn about the an entirely new person if I'm looking to marry someone I want to know what I'm getting you know yeah then any other non-negotiables um obviously I would want my wife to be very motherly honestly I want to have children and so I think just having that motherly instinct is is some is a big one for me yeah but you see that or sailor sorry it's okay I'm used to people call me Celia sailor whatever I just I just found out anything that starts I think oh I'm here you kind of went over it looked at the hygienic can't be arrogant gotta love the Lord um I think if they like spend their all their waking hours in front of a screen like in front of social media watching movies and television and like ultimately just not being in touch with reality I think that is something that's like no it gotta like be outdoors and they gotta go outside every once in a while you know what about the people that do contribute a lot to society and do things but they do also watch stuff on the screen too far with anything so just finding that balance between being in front of a screen whether it's like I do online school so I'm in front of a screen pretty much all day all a lot of the day but I still make time to read my Bible to do art to go outside and I like to roller skate and I'll listen to music and we'll we'll shoot the basketball around we'll throw the frisbee I'll do a bunch of stuff outside so I can make sure that I'm making time for other things other than just looking at a screen so I feel like you get out of touch with reality if you continue to constantly look at a stream yeah I think I think like like she said you know I think there's a time and place to look at a screen because it's fun you know it's good enjoyment without having to do any any physical activity but for me I get really really antsy it's on sitting down for too long and so if if I'm sitting down on the couch for maybe more than 30 minutes I just something pops in my head like I go play basketball or I gotta go work out or I gotta go practice piano or whatever do something other than look at the screen I just think there's there's definitely a balance and um a time and place for being on screens because to me when you're around other people and then you're on a screen it's kind of disrespectful because it's like you could be hanging out with those people and and like being present in the moment yeah people who are with other people through screens like we're doing right now yeah yeah everybody yeah like obviously it's hard because you're in Tennessee and we're in Illinois yeah it's a good way to kind of bridge that Gap yeah also pretty far far away from everybody three hours away from anybody so all of my contest notes it's gonna be we're about six hours away from everything oh nice nice yes So when you say they got to be outdoorsy what do you mean by gotta be outdoorsy what's that what does that mean exactly pretty much just enjoying nature just enjoying outside because God made outside for us to enjoy it so might as well just go inside and enjoy you know so I think if you're just constantly inside and that's that's interesting okay interesting all right let's see non-negotiables um okay here's a here's a weird non-negotiable I have but I have it refusing to accept gifts I hate that I hate it when people have a refusal to accept a gift or to like it like whenever I'm you know in a relationship with somebody or from a dating or courting or married somebody they're going to have the best electronics that they can possibly have because that's just my thing you know and people don't realize like don't go to Walmart and spend 40 bucks on earbuds please don't go on eBay and contact me and you can get way better um it's like that's one thing or see non-negotiables um openness to experience of course too so okay can you guys play a song together how about that like Levi you can you guys like Levi play the piano and say let's sing the name right yeah you got it right back then hang on we're Switching gears again hold on yeah so so there you go while you guys are doing that think about the misconceptions about flirting compared to just being nice to a guy or a girl okay the next one after you guys do your song what are we singing [Music] part of your world oh okay I'll just stay on the couch [Music] [Music] I've got gadgets [Music] [Applause] [Music] for children [Music] I wish I could breathe Lord of God [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] thank you wow holy cat appreciate it all right do you uh do you have you had voice lessons or or is that natural or what uh yes I've had seven years of choir experience and voice lessons pretty much since then in between and then theater again wow so interesting really good interesting you're forever in the same place we'll have to sing especially something I think our voice is good together pretty interestingly interesting that's awesome very cool so why that why that song um we've played it a lot yeah everyone just we were kids and I've always sang that song and he's always played so yeah he just decided that's our go-to so interesting okay so what would you guys say you know there's misconceptions about flirting over just being nice to a guy or a girl so I'll give an example from me first to give a background for it so people would tell me that I come across as flirty or too friendly because I talk to new people for a living I have four sisters I have an awesome mom and you know I've had to master the art of coming across confidently at least in person with people is nice and interested in talking to them without actually being interested in them if that makes sense you know because I've probably talked to I've talked to thousands of people and I make cold calls for a living so my job is to do that so I've had to deal with people saying oh you're flirting too much and I'm like what do you mean I'm just being nice you know I'm just being polite and being friendly so I'm guessing Levi you may experience things similar what has that been like for you yes so you know I think it's plus you look like the guy from Wreck-It Ralph I mean like seriously you could probably be on a on a cover somewhere so yeah what the live-action version when they come out with it one day yeah you need to be the live-action Ralphs I mean like uh what's that been like for for Levi uh well it's definitely a lot easier just to talk to people in general having a sibling I think just someone that's near my age is definitely a lot easier to talk to people and I think just being able to have to have and carry a conversation is really I think does sometimes come across as flirty which I definitely try not to um but uh their life just go out yeah I just went out weird um but yeah just uh you know just having someone that's near my age has definitely been a big factor in being able to communicate pretty well um yeah that's what I would say um I just think you as a girl you should know knows that not everything is a sign not everything is being flirty you should just be like he's just being nice you know and if it progresses then it should turn into flirting I think girls are too quick to assume that someone's flirting with them when they're just showing basic kindness you know so I think it's mostly on the girls part where it's like majority of the time they just want to be friends and then find a relationship so if they're just being nice then you should just take it as they just want to be your friend first and that they're not flirting okay and what does friends look like for you guys with people what does that mean for you guys because it means different things to different people I think like if you were to be friends with a girl say if you're Selah sayla sorry Selah if you would have said Sila my entire life so say like who because the guy Levi if you're friends with the girl what would that look like communication wise or whatever else because like for instance like brother Bob last night he said that with his daughters you know they are both 16 but still you know he wants to do it where unless they are saying they are courting no private communication everything's going to be through it through a uh through a um a group chat or it's going to be you know with a another person in the room with you you know a chaperone like even over the phone or something like that rather than a uh privately so what does that look like for you guys well I would say you know it's it's tough because you know it's completely subjective to each and every person um but um you know I I think sometimes people can get a little bit too carried away with that kind of stuff um and so for me like I think if you are old enough and mature enough to have a grown conversation with somebody I don't know I mean I can see in person uh you know having being around certain um you know groups and stuff like that to avoid kind of you know one-on-one kind of thing but as far as like uh talking with other people through like DMS and stuff like that if you're mature enough to even have social media I think it's fine in my opinion and that's just in my personal opinion um I think I think the the mature part of just being on social media itself I think is is good enough for you know most parents to be confident in their kids it's because I do think that parents need to be confident in in the way that their kids act because obviously they're the ones that raise them and so um as far as the one-on-one stuff I can see that but uh as far as like Instagram DMS and stuff like that um I don't really see a need for group stuff in my opinion so say hello what do you think about like being friends I think we're about to get serenaded with this basically because that's where Nathaniel cross wants um I think it's essentially just [Laughter] um uh um your friend that is the opposite gender as you would like your brother and nothing more than that that's what I think should happen thank you interesting interesting yep so I heard footsteps coming towards my door uh what did you say he missed it Nathaniel Miss what you were saying because he's mesmerized by um I think he's just essentially treating your friend of the opposite gender like you would like your little brother your big brother just like that you know what I mean like you wouldn't have romantic feelings towards your brother at least I hope you wouldn't especially Sweet Home Alabama what said Sweet Home Alabama yeah Sweet Home Alabama okay interesting interesting [Music] yeah I mean I it's hard I mean it is all subjective and like you were saying yeah it sometimes it isn't a girl when they're thinking oh this guy's just flirting when really they're just being friendly um which sometimes they want to say oh I'm the guy I'm the girl that rejected so and so whatever guys quit knocking my home state it's not really like that it is completely like that I live sorry it's a stereotype so confident we can revisit this a little bit confidence and arrogance so people like some for instance people have interpreted me as being very boastful and that was hard on me because I'm trying not to be that um I do want people to like either a lot of people probably the only way people don't know who I am is through social media because I'm three hours away from anybody and I do a lot of my church I'm not able to go from places like which is fine I love my church I believe I'm LED where I am but it makes it where like on my profile I try to make it the person that I am which I'm not going to talk all about my accomplishments at stores and stuff like that I'm just gonna be more along the lines of preaching singing podcasts whatever um and I try to come off as these are the things about me I'm not saying I'm not better than anybody I'm not meaning to come off as boastful excuse me but at the same time it's like you're telling people what's the difference then sailor between saying these are the amazing things about me and just saying things about yourself I think it's like you said about your you do musical theater you said oh well I do a lot of public speaking so this is not an issue for me would explain interpret that wrong but how do you how do you change between boastful versus confidence what was the difference that that if it's appropriate to the conversation and to say like hey I know how to sing like this because like you you brought it up you said did you have any previous voice training I said yes I had this this and that so if it flows with the conversation then sure you can bring up your accomplishments but don't say hey I I did this and it means nothing to the conversation you're just like okay uh but if it makes sense to the conversation to be like are you guys comfortable with this live yeah because we did speech classes and I do theater and I do a lot of public speaking so if it makes sense in the context of the conversation then I say that that is just not boastful and that is just stating facts what she said okay how do I come on in regard By Doing It Wrong we're doing it right how long I think it's very hard to being a social media person to like can they uh sort of I mean I I must think that social media was to kind of post what you've been doing but also it does uh you know create sort of a self-image of yourself for people that like haven't met me they would only be going off what my Instagram page is you know so um it you may come I think everybody may come off as boastful just because they both things you know um if someone posts that they went to the Grand Canyon then they're gonna think that they have some money because they were able to afford to go to the Grand Canyon you know what I mean just just certain things like that um but I don't think you do I think I think you're doing a great job I appreciate that okay good because I'm very good at being humble you know yeah for sure oh I'm the most humble person there is you talking about exactly very good okay so here's a fun question that you guys came up with that I love uh Levi would you date yourself or would you not and if you wouldn't what about yourself it's improving great question um okay great question yeah yeah that was her um I would say you know at this point I would say I I would hope so um I think I'm I'm decently mature um but uh obviously I think everyone can be improved on themselves just you know growing closer to the Lord is obviously a a goal and so in in the regard of just being a Christian young man I think I would uh I think I'm I'm pretty mature um so yeah I would say I would uh but I think everybody can improve on themselves and just being a better person I think you can improve uh being a better person spiritually and I think there's just room for improvement everywhere really always Salem I think no because I'm just not ready yet I really I'm not looking at all and I just want to make God my priority first I want to make God the number one relationship in my life right now and not another person I want to make sure that I get so lost in God that my my other path would have to know God in order to find me so I think I just haven't reached that point yet and I would want to reach that point before I would even start looking so pretty good interesting someone says how do you guys manage to meet Mrs people's your age since you streamed Church wondering because she's in the same boat okay so Instagram is a big one just because you know it is cool to just to join a community full of people that you don't believe the same you do it's kind of like a connection if someone follows you and they're from the message you're kind of like these people are gonna be accountable you know um as far as meeting in person um I I well we tend to go to Kentucky quite often and so we're and we have family in Tennessee and stuff like that so we do travel quite a bit to go be around uh other message people and so uh I feel like uh you know with meeting other people I think definitely social media has gotta be number one especially not being around too many up here that you know God provides like he will make it happen for you like we had the opportunity to go to byc so we took it you know he will make things happen you know what I mean so like we we met Joe and Noah because they were doing a tennis camp like 30 minutes away from our house and my mom was like Hey There are these two message guys and they're gonna come stay with us for the weekend and we're like Mom why would you do that yeah we were like I haven't and they felt the same way they were telling their mom why did you do that but we met them and they stayed in our guest room we just like yeah they're actually kind of cool you know so God will make aware like out of all the tennis camps in the country it had to be 30 minutes away from our house you know so he'll provide okay yeah yeah that makes sense through the uh uh the um camps and social media as well uh okay where can we see your your theater performances okay so her last three they were not able to like record so we won't have like that footage uh I don't know where you can find it yeah I we just don't record them anymore because you don't have the right to be used to but there there are only certain like shows that they're allowed to because like some Disney ones they have like the licensing for it is like a lot of money so um they're a non-profit so it's kind of hard to afford the licensing um I don't know if they've even recorded any since covet so come see it in person come fly up yeah okay all right cool let's see as far would I no the question of me would I date myself and if not what about myself needs improving would I date myself uh I'll ask you guys what do you guys mean by date what is what does that mean exactly exactly would you would you date you I would say would you be ready to marry yourself that's the tricky question because it's uh there's a logistical way of looking at it that emotional way of looking at and you can always say oh you're not ready or you are ready you know um use I don't think you can never go to a place where say yes I am ready for marriage really no everyone's let's say David would you date me if you were a girl no I would not because you can't even spell the word you can't spell the word were correctly Nathaniel I'm sorry I just can't um uh myself yeah sure I mean I uh I don't I like I don't like going on about this because it's about yourself or whatever but um in this stage by God's grace you're not graduate between 16. um crazy 10th 11th 12th grade and six months I've been working in sales for over uh four years almost five I worked for a Fortune 500 company um and I Grace is relatively uh sophistic I make more by God's grace more than the average college student graduate so um and I'm preaching and soliding and I do live with my parents right now but that's because they would like me to and I'd love to and it saves money and I want as much time with my parents before they go back home um and uh yeah sure I mean I'm 20 I'm almost 23 years old yeah I I've been preaching for over six years so I'm living full time there's different things sure there's always things to improve on um I need to see where do I need to improve there's a lot of different areas um but sure yeah um I mean for one is understanding the game every person every girl in every social situation they are in has a different social hierarchy of values that they attain or that they live by and me trying to address that is a difficulty formula do they want to talk on the phone just as friends do they not they want to text do they not whatever whatever it might be um I don't know and my whole life is a game you know life is a game and I love Monopoly I love winning the game and I'm trying to figure out how to do things best how would you answer your future wife if she asked if you'd still have her if she wears school yeah of course I love her if she's a squirrel that's actually a tick tock thing but um the thing it's a tick tock thing yeah um let's see uh the thing is that with that it if Opposites Attract then you probably wouldn't dare the other date the other gender version of yourself um opposites do attract but also the same kind of people attract um it depends uh sure I mean like I I would love to find someone who's who is related and in the same place with like uh you know Dad's the pastor or something like that because it's uh if someone else says you instantly go along with them and they just understand things that you that normally people don't um so of course you know save up more money people things but yeah no sure that's my answer unless people have questions about it do your Tick Tock maybe I don't no uh someone I talked to like four three years ago to ask that same question of me and uh and I didn't know what it meant and then she says oh I got you I said something from Tick Tock I know what it is I don't have Tick Tock it's the biggest no I actually deleted Snapchat and you can actually look up there's yeah uh there's lawsuits against Snapchat for the Discover page so no matter how many times you click I'm not interested in this they're going to show you half naked people on your discover page and even like even worse things than that all the time and it is the most annoying thing but it's not interested not interested you can only look up things from Sports and it'll still show you rotten things so I said you know what I'm gonna delete the whole app whereas you know Instagram you can go to settings and turn that stuff off but with Snapchat you just you just can't do you think there should be like a message social media platform it's Instagram no I mean like just for message people it's Instagram I mean there is one it's Instagram seriously I mean what is the social media dating platform for message people it's Instagram it totally is like we don't want to make we don't want to say that maybe but yeah I think we could create one short so the guys know when a girl is uh itched to people when she's not or when she wants to be friends and when she doesn't but honestly it's Instagram you don't want to stay it is I heard someone say it's the best dating app in the world and it is that's what it is what do you think I think I'd be good but I also think that that's also not a way to bring others to the way we believe if it was just message people then it would just be message people I mean it wouldn't bring anyone well the point wouldn't be bringing people to the message to the point would be for the people that are already in the message to find a significant other like a dating app is what you mean yeah oh you met like a social media app just for message people Oh I thought I thought you meant like a dating app just for the message people okay social media just for misses people honestly Instagram and Facebook are already that pretty much because you're only going to be connected to the people that are message and it's up to you you make your own world if you're seen a bunch of posts about football or basketball it's because you followed and you liked things that were football and basketball you create your own world in these apps they have algorithms they learn what you like and give you more of it so it already exists in all understanding it could be cool to make your own but it kind of is already that if that makes sense it does yeah you have any questions on what I said at all before I go to the next thing no we do have to get going though soon okay what time are you guys gonna go what's that what time do you have to go uh in 10 minutes around 10 minutes yeah okay cool what constitutes as dressing your best before church I think just if you you just wear your best so pretty much just wear like ladies wear a dress men wear a dress shirt I mean I I don't think you need to buy like some extravagant suit and go in the gold plated suits to church I think just dress whatever you constituted as the best for the Lord like back in the day Farmers would just come in their work clothes because that's all they get for and that was their best interesting I think what do you what do you think uh Levi you know it's tough because uh you know there's there's different ways you could look at it but in my opinion it would be uh what could you do to go above and beyond what you how you would normally address for church in my opinion you know I I I see I think I dress pretty decent in in you know daily life but I want to take that one step further just to make myself representable in church you know I want to give myself what about suits like bro or six three two fifteen why don't you buy do you have suits do you work do you have suits I have a pair of suit pants that I or to my cousin's wedding in 2020 and they are like way too small now like they're like non-existent so suits are tough for me like I I have a tough time finding pants in general um but uh just like finding a suit pants is like impossible it's just like just finding the pair of suit pants that I have in my closet took me like three hours at a store just to find one that fit me because you should uh you should go down should you go to Men's Wearhouse and uh get some uh get some suits I think that's actually where I ended up going I got like fitted for one I'm pretty sure and I don't think I could wear suits to Sunday service I think they should wear it to like fancy Sunday services but like not necessarily every Sunday you know okay if interesting because um Nicole no it's not it's not a dumb question it's just a question that triggers a uh a three hour discussion or longer we don't have time for that so as far as suits like I have three suits and other things if I as that they're in the dry cleaners right now but other than that I will wear a suit and tie every single service to church because it is my best and you do in your life what you prioritize and what you think is that the hot top of the the top of the you know whatever you think it is the is the best and we wear our best to church I wear a suit and tie like oh you should only do it for special occasions church is that special occasion but I mean if what is the most important thing of in your week in your entire week Sunday service and Wednesday service there the two most important things in your entire in your entire week out of anything else unless you're getting married on Thursday you know Sunday and Wednesday service those are the most important things and I think like like you said like if it depends on what the version of the best is and what you have me personally I want to look at the quote would have been said about you know if Jesus was here to wear a suit and tie but personally I'll wear a suit and tie because I have them I have three tailored ones by God's grace and I'm gonna wear them because it you know it's uh probably one of the reasons why is because I salivate every service and I preach so some I preach sometimes if I song it every time so there's that part um but I do think you should like you said wear something better than what you usually wear yeah yeah it's it's plus suits are awesome and people look at you more seriously and they take what you're saying like I walked into a Verizon store once like I actually did and they thought I was like their boss's boss's boss they thought I was like one of the high UPS uh one of their big bosses or something it was awesome yeah I actually saw I came across the video on Instagram that was saying like uh we should all manage to start dressing like they did in the 1920s with like uh the cross suit thing with the best I think that would be so cool I I want to get one of those it'd be interesting not at all gonna get into what girls wear like honestly for me what girls normally wear could pass for what we could pass for uh could pass for regular Church stuff because girls are very good at looking pretty you know my sisters all they all look great all the time so really anything I have no prefer I don't care girls that's their own little thing um hold on one second here and I'm sorry for everyone that's asking me for a bass solo I actually don't know how to play this thing I know like super basic stuff like this is just a follow along in songs this isn't like to solo on I'm so bad at this thing okay um let's see last good last question would you rather have a career or a family oh because here's the here's the reason I asked that question because you guys are at the top like seriously you do musical say like you do musical theater you do all these different things you could literally probably do voiceovers for Disney movies literally um like Levi you could do con you could be a concert pianist career or raising a family definitely family always comes first for me career is on the back burner it's kind of like how you find your way in the world but to me in my opinion the career is what supports the family that's what that's what it is to me is the career builds career is the basis of the family it's how you afford the family and so if you're putting your career before your family I think you have your priorities wrong in my opinion yeah I mean uh let's see we got four minutes yeah I agree I mean one of the things like here's a big pet peeve that I have in a non-negotiable um like for instance like if my wife wants to have a job she can people what if she makes more than just very unlikely but I mean if she DVD wants to but if it's like no honey I don't want to have kids I want to do my job instead be like no sweetie we don't need the extra income like you know it's it's one of the uh pet peeves I can have as someone who has prioritized like no I don't want any anything with anybody I want to have a career and I I want to ask a girl what she where she sees herself in 10 years and she said oh I want to graduate college get a job and buy a really nice car and buy a house I'm like where's the family you know it's just like yeah those are cool but those are material things yeah and they're not going to do much for you like yes you'll have the nursing job yes you make 80 000 a year yeah you do all these different things but then it's empty right it's like who are you going home to you're making all this money but you're gonna hate it you're gonna switch out bad pans you're gonna deal with terrible people it's positive it will be nice but it's not going to be this amazing beautiful wonderful thing that people think it really is yeah absolutely um and you know like like I feel like everything we've talked about has gone back to experiences so yeah uh you know with with the career to me and and honestly everything that we've touched on so far is it can be applied to this conversation so uh if you're putting your career before your family that to me is arrogance because you're focused on yourself and I feel like being uh uh the leader of your family and a future father hopefully um I want to be selfless for my family and so uh to me being selfless is putting your family first and by doing that you put your career to the side and just using your career as something that can can build your family to be what you want it to be my uh let's see someone says I just have never seen kind of sitting in an office cubicle 10 hours a day is more fulfilling than being a mom and raising kids to love the Lord yeah definitely I mean uh I've seen people that we are in the middle of divorces because they prioritize their own lives like no I have my life and my career yeah I have kids but my like no when you have kids it's them and they're they're supposed to be your entire life um it's supposed to be everything you ever you ever focus on that's why I say so many times people make time for what they want to make time for people make happen what they want to make happen you know it is really important um people are like hope said it's very good um okay um what tapes what were the Venom tapes would you guys recommend to the audience to listen to that's a tough one I think it just depends on the person and the situation because there are so many different tapes for different for you personally what has helped you the most I would say the one that kind of gave me my uh big Revelation was deep Carlton I think that that is kind of the the most popular in my opinion I think is the one that that everyone kind of draws to but I think it's also uh one of the best resources you can possibly find in the message and and anyone that's that's looking for answers I think if you just listen to that tape I think it's almost self-explanatory what about you Taylor I honestly I just kind of scroll and take a message and just listen to it because I think they're all good I think you can just listen to anyone and it'd be good even like the prayer line ones just seeing people's faith and knowing that like he's using God like like he's a vessel for God and just feeling that power whenever he says like you're healed you you've done this you've done that but you're healed you know I think just pretty much any message because there's a reason why those were recorded you know they're they really do bring the experience what they experience just through sound alone it's unbelievable you know if you had to pick one sailor just one not as a favor as the best ever but one that you can think of off stop you're like yeah that one was really nice or whatever even the last one you listened Moses beautiful all right sweet so Okay cool so I'm gonna go ahead and pray then we'll end it all right cool all right if you're some fun thank you for this great live thank you for a fun time what else was businesses as we go to sleep and with our services tomorrow whatever I said be edifying of people Lord uh have a great inner sleep and you know drive to church tomorrow and the connection to straightening that's going in the Lord Jesus Christ amen amen all right thanks for coming on guys it was fun see ya
