and talk about it and 10 minute segments so all of your thoughts about relationships what people do right what people do wrong all the different things welcome on this live relationship so I'm gonna gonna date them to convert no so if it's a guy trying to date a girl and the girl says oh and you want to date her no she can come to your church like my dad with a Dominique he wasn't in the message when he liked Sarah initially so he had to uh he had to um be in the message for a year you had to be baptized he had the Holy Ghost and then they just consider it so do not date someone if they are not there with God if they don't have character don't eat them if they're not willing to believe if they're not willing to you know convert don't do it it's not a good idea don't be don't don't be unequally yoked it is just 100 not a good day you do not date to convert you bring people to your church and then try to get them to change from there but you can do your best relationship questions guys I played tennis earlier so I'm pretty tired but it was a it was a ton of fun we did we did our best it was super cool it's getting better and better so also I got my uh table tennis racket in the delivered this up before I actually leave to go with the Reagan so we could play ping pong and Crush everyone oh man because I'm not quite as good as I used to be a basketball I'm not even close but um so how much does it cost to some proof of that room with just the foam pads um a piece of foam pads takes it takes a acoustic foam glue or spray glue and it took nails it took about twelve hundred dollars and I'm still not done by the time I'm all done it'll probably take about 1500 in total what's up Maddie so we're talking about relationships whatever else you guys want to talk about any also watch stuff and you know turn it up pretty high and no one would really hear it um you could feel you could make a a big giant Difference by putting it in strips across your room for about 100 200 bucks seriously and make it a thousand times better what already a room is when it's all echoey not relationship related but any advice on introducing the message to a devout Catholic a developed Catholic introducing the message to a devout Catholic well in any of this we're not trying to convince people of the message we're trying to change someone's mind we're trying to introduce them to the message and see if they are a seed of God so um I would show them about the BAM sermon or ask them hey you know would you like to uh hear about this message and have a dedicated time for a couple hours for you to take them to the Bible and show them or show me tape and see what they think you could show them serpent seed why we are not a denomination life story how the angel came to me in his commission things like that um so that's how I would do it you're not looking to convince them because they don't want to be they don't change their mind they're going to come up with whatever they want same thing with Christianity but if their seed of God something will activate and we'll see let's see yeah you have a really good lack of Reverb in their room help helps definitely with give advice to me what am I doing wrong relationships what could I do to change like is there something that I'm doing wrongly um because people like to correct other people more than just about anything else what's up Steph how's it going the last live I talked all about is toxic co-workers all up to when I worked at Prime Communications which that was the chance when I got to run a store by myself for a while I got to uh manage a couple of losers um who call people losers they were losers what I here's how I Define a loser someone who refuses to put in the effort to win and would rather complain about losing that's a loser a loser isn't someone who loses a loser is someone who loses and receives counsel to try to help them win but refuses to change themselves so that they'll win that's a loser and I had a couple a couple of workers of mine that were like that I couldn't could not get them a change I couldn't get them to listen to coach and couldn't I they would only do they'd only do the uh the minimum every time they could they never ever wanted to change and when I wasn't there they did nothing it was really frustrating and here I am trying to hit with you the big goals and I did made some mistakes too but I could have done better but it was fun it was pretty cool but relationships everybody likes these relationships because it's it's an interesting topic and a lot of things go unset and it's considered to be a game or whatever else but what I want to do with it is to take away the unset things to try to make it just as much of a sure thing or at least an explainable thing as the message it's hard to do but what I don't want to have happen with those message kids is to where the whole dating world is so saturated and so complicated to where we just end up doing it like the rest of the world to where in order to get a relationship oh you have to have the ability to rig someone up or you have to uh you know change yourself to some beauty standard that's undoable so it just depends questions guys thoughts comments concerns anything to do with relationships if you and the point of this is for people to join really and talk about what you think of relationships I mean the question is what do people get wrong in relationships you know why are people why are so many Eli you can join if you would like until the next person wants to join we're talking about relationships and we are uh going from person to person anybody can join we're gonna talk about relationships where people get right what people get wrong get manually you can join and then if there's other people other people that are wanting to join we'll do it in 10 minutes segments or whatever um there we go what are your thoughts on talking stages depends on where you're at I don't it depends it's so difficult to just do it to uh to Define because so many people do things so differently so I'll give my perspective talking stages for me is either I meet a girl to Camp a church meeting or online because that's the only way I can I don't know if girls that go to my church meet them it goes well it goes cool I'm interested in getting known better and when you're wanting to get to know someone better it isn't to learn more information about them about you know things that they can just put in their bio or into a video of a life story but to learn what they are and how they assess life and how they uh look at things in life and how they direct it how they respond to things that are hard and things that are really really good how they respond to uh the thing that happens when you're talking and you're one of the things to talk about because that's a stage so talking stages it depends on the person but if you were in person you clearly Levi anybody can join and stay for a while and talk about relationships I'm going to the next person the next person wants to join after someone's on there for 10 minutes the next person can join so like talking stages it depends but you want to get to know to someone for a while you want to know about them no information about them let me write down these questions actually so what are my thoughts on talking stages and the next one was good questions to assess to ask a woman to assess her character so my thoughts on talking stages it really depends like if there's initial attraction you want to talk to each other I think we should in people that are in the message around the message we should stop saying oh well it's just this or oh it's just character oh it's just Beauty all of the things you have to be attracted to them you have to be and they have to have character I think character rates ranks and importance at the highest level of course but if you're not attracted to them don't marry them unless God tells you to which I don't think he would do that so talking stages you talk to them as friends in person and then like for me like I have to approach talking stages differently from just about any other guy on average because many guys are in my position so I have to look at it as okay cool I met this nice girl I have to continue continue Communication online so I think if you like each other you want to continue the conversation you want to continue talking talk to your brother about the day and you can you should Define a format of how you want to do it we'll talk once a week talk twice a week as you feel led one thing a guy needs to do is still have a life is say hey I can't talk to them with the boys or I'm working whatever how soon should you talk to the girl's dad that depends on the girl's dad some girls dads want you to talk to them as soon as you start talking with a girl some girls like some dad's like no I don't want you talking to my daughter whatsoever unless you talk to me first Some dad's like yeah I don't care unless you want to date her so the key is to be 100 honest do it all and straightforward and transparent like yes uh uh yeah I'll talk to you I'll talk to your dad if you want me to of course you know and if he asks you what are your intentions with my daughter be 100 transparent I was like yeah I think she's a great girl I really enjoy talking to her I don't know her enough to tell you whether or not I like her as a uh as more than a friend but I'd like to get to know her more and you know brother I'm not talking to anybody else because you know what you have to understand from the dad's perspective what is he looking at this young kid he used to be a young kid who talked to a girl married her had kids and he wants to know are his attention is pure does he have the Holy Ghost does he have his life together does he go to church all these different things and what are his intentions with my daughter is this just another one of the pretty girls he talks to the floor with them or is he intentional because he's trying to guard her heart you must be intentional with him and if you come across as honest he'll like that so my advice as far as when you're supposed to talk to the girl's dad if the girl doesn't bring it up then continue talking to her and if she never does then the dad finds out about it and then um he gets all mad at you then you just say hey she never told me I needed to which I think actually I'll change that I think you should ask her if you need to talk to her dad depending on let's say hey do I need to talk to your dad also depends on how the girl is if the girl's an under 18 you should ask her that hey am I supposed to talk to your dad first about this which you usually you want to have a release because you're not marrying just the girl you're marrying the family as well so you want to make sure you have a good relationship with the girl's dad if the girl's dad is crazy run unless you feel that of almighty God to talk to her if the girl's dead is crazy wrong with everything you've got those people that have joined you guys can join for up to 10 minutes or less just depending uh to talk about relationships and these different questions that are coming in um so you want to stay honest like a dad will appreciate if you're just honest it's all you know it's uh honesty like I think Laura if I remember correctly your dad's name is Charlie so Charlie wants to know that any young man want to talk to Laura or Stephanie or Sarah is a good young man and his intentions are pure if they're not and he's not a good guy and he doesn't have his life together your dad doesn't want you talking to him because because attraction comes in different ways why running for dad is crazy because unless God's leading you there then it'll be a big heartache to everything and for dad's crazy um because it depends on how old she is and where you're at with everything and it depends on everything really but if the dad is crazy it'll ruin the whole thing because her headship's all messed up if the dad has a God complex and like one girl that tries to talk to a couple years ago uh her dad thinks he's so spiritual he did when he doesn't even go to church anymore so and if her headship isn't where it's supposed to be then I can really mess everything up so if her dad's crazy and he won't be straightforward with you run because it'll be a detriment to the entire relationship now if uh if he's being straightforward great but if he's just being weird and you're a great young man you have your life together you could actually provide for her you have the Holy Ghost all these different things then it might be Jacob and Lima situation but also depends on the girl the guy isn't the only one making things happen because you know as much as I liked that one girl that one time she also didn't say Dad I'm gonna talk to this guy regardless of what you say because David sings He preaches he does really really good in his job and I don't see any reason why why I wouldn't be able to talk to him so I'm going to talk to him because I'm you know 20 years old and I love you Dad but you're wrong on this I'm going to talk to him anyway because I can't think of any reason why you haven't and you like if the dad told me I want you to pray about it for a few months you know but he basically says you know oh you've got to pray and get before God that would be cool then what like oh well I have to guard her heart like okay it's a little strange I'm not asking to marry her up here brother I'm just talking ask him to talk to her and he was fine with me visiting their church and talking to her in private for half an hour just her and I in the back of their church but oh don't talk to her on the phone so it was pretty strange but you want to stay honest with people you want us down to the dad the dad wants to know that you're an honest straightforward guy and you have to convey that you have to otherwise you know Dad if you come across the wrong way if you're weird like this is a good example in the movie called Courageous where you know the guy wants to date the one of the main guy's 15 year old daughter think he was 17. and the dad says hey I'm happy to have you uh go out to eat with my wife and I and we can get to know your characters like I want done with that bro you you should just let your daughter make her own decisions that's a bad thing but if you come across as respectful that's really good because the dad isn't isn't a weirdo he knows his daughter wants to talk to guys that's how he did stuff so why runner for dad is crazy because it messes everything up you'll ruin you will put yourself through a lot of stress and from speaking from personal experiences run you'll waste your time personal opinion if you have if you have intentions tell our dad if you don't no need if you have intentions and don't tell Dad and you develop a relationship that Dad wouldn't have thought good for his good for his daughter um let's see actually John that's mostly right here's the thing some dads want you to ask them if you talk to the daughter at all whatsoever so I'm saying like talking to Dad agnostic where you don't care it's whatever whatever the girl says whatever the dad really really wants um I would say yeah as far as like with when I have daughters I don't care if a guy wants to text her once a month if he wants to talk to my daughter he's gonna talk to me first I want to know who's talking to my daughters period end of story no discussion and every every family's different you know every family is drastically different it just depends but if someone wants to talk to my kid they're going to talk to me and I'm going to see how they respond to some pressure because if they are talking to my daughter which you know I'm I'm thinking my wife's gonna be pretty and you know my people tell me I'm good looking so my kids are going to be some very attractive kids you know my kids are going to be my boys are going to be Giga Chads and my my sisters are absolutely beautiful so if my daughters are anything looking like my sisters you know they're going to be absolutely beautiful so guys are going to like them so women guy wants to talk to my daughter I want to talk to him I don't care if it's just his friends yes now if you're in a big youth group you can talk to other guys just as friends but if you're not it's different like for me personally I don't talk to girls just as friends foreign my brain doesn't compute that I can't I can't talk to multiple girls like whenever we need to treat when I need to treat last year I've been talking to a girl for a couple weeks and even though those girls at the camper I could try to talk to him be friends with them I couldn't compute it in my brain because I was thinking like I don't know if I can do that I don't know it was strength it should be it depends on the guy too some guys can do it some guys can't it just depends let's see um how do you think you will go about implementing that considering the accessibility accessibility social media gives young people starting to DM a randomly casual Prize or story is that something he would need to ask permission for no I mean talking like if you're texting occasionally whatever who cares but if you start into a conversation then uh because guys do things for different reasons like I'll respond with fire emojis to a girl story because this is a really really good meme or something hilarious or something relatable but if he intends to like like you're saying Olivia if he intends to contact her regularly because the thought that the back of his brain is saying wow she's really pretty I hope maybe she has some actual character then he's gonna need to talk to me even if it's just his friends different guys do it differently it just depends now if I if I if I was part of the big church where there was like 40 40 girls his age then or 40 guys right she doesn't need to talk to me I don't care but it's different they do with my parents or because of the uh you know we don't have any youth so we don't know these people we're not in person with them it just depends be honest be straightforward and you know honestly in my position by God's grace God's given me confidence and ability to speak with people but I'm uh I'll be honest I'm very uh not scared but just kind of intimidated or uh unsure in some ways of how I'm supposed to navigate the whole world of the talking to women how am I supposed to do you know talk to them talk to them and I'm not saying that I actually don't know I'm saying this to get some responses here because I'm playing dumb to get people's perspectives just so you know like okay so I'm supposed to go to a camp right okay cool get girls Instagrams okay cool then what takes a bunch of them don't text a bunch of them ask them how the day is going don't ask them how the day is going you see my problem because as soon as the camp is done and I head home I'm not going to see those girls till the next year this is my problem how can I fix it guys what would you have me do so like people get people get uh why do we need to talk to exactly chefy sheffy's got the truth sheffy is the man sheffy is the man that got our counselor to say who's Joe Joe mama it was beautiful why do we need to talk to women you're exactly right so yeah like what do you I mean seriously what do you guys think what should I do what should I not do because like for instance like now if anyone wants to talk to me I'm like oh okay is this girl accompanying me because of my podcast or because she actually wants to speak to me like what am I supposed to do because you know if I was in person I would know these things but I don't it's a difficult thing for me to navigate and a lot of these things you know getting people on talking about relationships is to help me but this also to help guys who aren't very confident guys who don't know what to do girls who don't know what to do all the different things because we want to be successful we want to be effective a girl wants to look pretty a guy wants to have his life together he wants to be effective all of us want to be effective and amazing and desired all these things I know all these things at the at a very uh Deep Way if there's a girl you really want to talk to get a contact information yes yeah you're right maybe I'm just overthinking this um so like talking stages like with talking to a girl's dad just be honest be straightforward always be willing to come in come in hello Thomas grabbing another uh Dr Pepper AC ID you know some people on here tell you that those are just the worst thing ever another route tries to talk to girls he just tries to talk to a lot of girls oh and we're just like what do you want oh well just be be interested but be subtle be subtle but don't be subtle try to talk to girls but don't try to talk to girls text them but don't text them because if you text Girls you'll be known as someone that talks to girls but if you know someone that doesn't talk to girls then you need to need to go attack the girls but if you talk to girls you're talking to too many girls hey lost brother this is the way yeah this is why I haven't tried to talk to anybody in almost a year because uh yeah seriously because um let's see I take this girl in December that is actually been in March thanks for the girl a couple months ago she was a jerk so I never responded again but yeah seriously I haven't because I'm so frustrated with it because just like people won't tell me what the rules are and I'm just like you know what I'm just going to focus on uh you know growing a beard building a podcast preaching song reading building up my job and uh wait for the one wait for the person that's ordained to be the one someone that isn't gonna not want to talk to me because I come off too strong because I come off too desperate but to realize oh this guy's actually a real person who wasn't raised in these weird social norms and actually wants to be a decent human being you know because when like for instance if someone trolls me now I don't respond at at face at face value which I did before which I was wrong about but now I realize who is this person who is this person why are they saying what they're saying so before when I would uh get offended at someone trolling I'd be like hey do it to not there's no try message you at it like yeah I know yeah now I know Seth is a comedian he says something that are funny I've talked to him now I know so when I listen to things I look at things for what they are and what they mean basically it is recommended you are sure about quoting someone you don't really know to get to know them but you have to be sure it's counterintuitive yes it's just like what do you want me to do talk to girls David text girls online they reject David Dave is now known as this guy who talks to girls what those relationships rise of alpha Mill entertain energy actually entertain his toxic you do not listening what's a good reply if you ask her out and she tells you sure he has a boyfriend um hire a hitman boom hit man gone no longer a problem control your control your musculine control you need to find a sassy woman who also has her own podcast there are none of the message that I know of seriously I don't know if any equals the message actually Olivia could ever on podcast if she really wanted to um but uh it's unknown but this is why I say the best pickup line isn't uh isn't words it's uh showing forth attack attractive qualities let's see is bodybuilding considered showing off your body if so I need to eat ice cream instead of doing my squats uh bodybuilding no I mean if you take your shirt off that be showing off your body but if you work out and you look really really good and you're wearing you know regular things not you know skinny jeans or tight shirts and you still look great that's not your fault you know eat push-ups while you're doing them Levi now keep the squats but yeah like leave I usually you know do push-ups and then you know eat ice cream at the same time that's what you must do that is the way sure I mean like I want to be effective did you just indirectly call me sassy David I did but I didn't even realize that I guess they set me up I'm just a troll um I did not call you sassy that's not what I meant what's that's even mean I was thinking the part of where someone who has their own podcast I don't even know but like me David crocheting 22 years old almost 23 hot take the best pickup line is just saying hey I'm it is you're right I think you're right so brother gray colder told me it's like hey I'm David nice to meet you and within the five seconds okay a six foot three is in relatively good shape he has his own podcast I already know about that he's trying to grow up here he's cool here there's a weird thing in the shirt why is it there um his fingernails are not cleaned which would because I haven't taken my shower for the day yet um they're gonna assess all those different things that's why I say make yourself that's by I'm not trying to pursue anybody and they haven't in almost a year because I'm trying to uh I was compliment that you think I could have one thank you yeah of course you could um you know make yourself into an amazing person make yourself into the man who God wants you to be that's why people that mock me when I say the best pickup line is is having there's a lot that talks about having your life in order and being in uh having um a good relationship with God I think my clothes are too lyrics because I'm less ripped than I actually am probably I don't even know whatever people want some people have health problems some people don't I think if you don't have health problems you should try to be in relatively good shape I think that's my opinion if if you know if you actually like I'm used to do something to lose weight and I tried it and it just it actually hurt me I lost sleep and I was thrown up all the time so I stopped um I think you should be relatively you should try I mean but it's not a spiritual thing a bodily exercise profit is little but do I think David was in good shape when he fought Goliath yeah do I think that the the guys who killed you know 600 men with this 300 men with the spear is in good shape yeah it isn't as much about being shaped as it is a reflection of your decisions with food you just because this is a decision with food but also reflect your decisions in life the important thing is to be a well-rounded person yes I already got the round down so beard robe and Perfection got it yes Jeffy exactly that's exactly right um it's a reflection link why would I gain a ton of weight it was a side it was a uh a it wasn't the problem the problem was me eating Taco Bell two o'clock in the morning consistently and eating more than I needed to that was the problem and now I'm fixing it but that's Chris trying to anyway and the sacrifice but a I'm saying that a In-Shape shows uh attractive qualities that could also be usually like and someone says oh well David if you didn't take things so serious all the time and if you just had more fun in your lives instead of being all serious girls would like you one if so if I need to not be let me I do every people every single service I song with every one of them I do everything I can to do exactly what God wants me to do and uh I want a girl to like me not because I I'm really good at jokes so that's part of it but because of the man I am that God makes me who I am or the man I'm striving to be you know every time you say yes chef I think you're actually saying yes chef yes chef there we go anyone can cook do do do do do do do so on this podcast yeah I don't know what they're saying I think maybe that person was just utterly about my uh toxic work people that I worked with and like almost no one was on there and I also offered people yeah um I'll talk about management relationships bro I was a manager for walk too so I I understand some of the parts of it say it's supposed to still be blue tonight I just decided I kind of see a hint of blue and then moon is abnormally large or huge whatever wonderful um well I did I mean I I uh I also offered a godhead q a and people didn't people vote let me look at the uh the actual uh the polls made relationships are fun though I mean I mean as long as single people can talk about uh this stuff but then um people still talk about it I guess I think I really think gosh my phone keeps on the fall down I really think people in the message put too much thought and getting in a relationship at a young age because if you look at how many people in the message get married and they're like early 20 like 21 22 compared to out in the world people don't get married till 25 26. I mean if you if all these guys are they're going to all these these Church camps and they're so focused on getting a girl it can be a hindrance in so many different areas of your life including your walk with God it can it can it can hinder you in your job because if you're so focused on a girl and going to see a girl you're not putting work first and I mean you should always put God first in your life but then second to that unless you're married or in like a serious relationship work should come right after God I mean if you're not at church and you're not focused on that you should be focused on what you're doing at work so you can become successful and you can become a man that your wife would be willing to call her husband and be proud of because I mean if you're hardly making payments hardly making deals not able to support a good family why other than just love why is that woman wanting to marry you I mean they're going to look for somebody like their father that's there to take care of them so I mean I feel like guys put too much stock in like early relationships I don't know but that's just me I think all these guys are so focused chasing girls at youth camps I in my opinion that like the older I've gotten I realized I would much much rather sit in the circle of 40 year old men finally become successful and sit around I will listen to them talk about what they've done with their business and what they've accomplished much rather than sitting around and talk to guys my age about who's dating who and who just entered a relationship who's getting in a new relationship who's single I would much rather sit there and be like okay this is how you make money flipping houses that's how you make money on stocks this is what I did to build my business and like also you talk to them they will get you so hyped to go to work in the morning like my bosses work like 80 hour weeks and then people ask me why I work so much I'm like I look at my boss my boss is working 80 hours a week I'm only working like 60. so I'm I mean like it's easy to work really hard when you've got a boss that's working so so much so the more you if you're constantly sitting around all these people that are always focused on like the base level stuff of what's going on in their life who's dating who what's going on you're gonna sit there and you're just gonna stay in that level but if you hang out with people that are up here success wise you're gonna constantly be reaching up to get to them to get to that level but if you hang out with people that are on your level there's nothing pushing you to be better interesting okay what do you mean by chasing girls what does that mean what I mean is if the first thought in your mind when you show up to a youth get together is what cute girls are there and what girls are there that you are attracted to that is the wrong thought it's natural for every guy to be interested in a girl when he gets somewhere like he sees a girl that catches his eye yes of course but like that shouldn't be what your folks don't worry they're like I like I remember hanging out with guys like I couldn't even hang out with them at a Youth Event because they were so focused on like trying to talk to a girl I mean sometimes yeah I mean you find a girl you want to talk to go try to talk to her but it was like no they were just trying to find they would have like six girls and be like okay which one should I go talk to this one and they'd have like an hour conversation two-hour conversation about you know this one has this about them and this one has bad about him like this one's nice this one's pretty and I'm like can we just go play volleyball and have some fun like enjoy yeah I'm like why why would you at all want to try to meet the love of your life when you can just play volleyball right well I mean here's the difference I feel like if it's really the love of your life and it's the the girl you're meant you're meant to be there you're gonna find her doing things that you enjoy doing if you have comments not just you're gonna find her all these people that say found the love of their life weren't searching for her it's just some people just they they find them um you know some people not everybody not everybody you're right in the message it's like to you just my parents as an example my dad did not grow up in the message but my mom did my dad was introduced to my mom my brother um Joel Forney they had no idea who the other one was but the jewels saw my mom and saw my dad and introduced them to each other that was how they know they did not go looking for anybody my dad was not searching for for a wife my mom wasn't searching for her husband but that's how it happened and that's how I've heard a lot of people meet their prospective spouse some of course they set their eye on one person they're like I'm going for that one that's not but I feel like that's so often what we hear that a guy feels like they have to get one and they're just like okay that's the one and they just they have to like get the girl to like them or to that extent were they or they feel like like when they go to a youth camp they have to always have their eyes open for girls that are attracted to them or girls that show attention to them because they're like I would miss that one I would ask this is there anyone on the face of planned Earth but say 99 of people who aren't already no matter what they're doing playing volleyball playing basketball talking to 40 year old men your brain is still wired to see girls and say yeah she's attractive she's not she's a potential partner this is your brain still gonna do that regardless if your question is do if your question is if I'm in like a group setting if I see a girl that I find attractive are you like wondering if I still like see that girl as attractive or like what are you what I'm saying is is that yes yes so you can say uh oh well no I found my wife because I and I'm not disagreeing with you I'm just approaching it from a different English a different uh perspective or just a different way of looking at like people can say yes I found my wife when I wasn't looking for her okay then why'd you continue talking to her if you weren't looking for a wife we attach ourselves to People based off of common interests or something or something that benefits us what about the benefits there's other reasons for that but like the main two that you notice or either I want to be around this person because it benefits me because I enjoy it or being around this person benefits me so the two those two right there I like to be around those guys I'll talk to you that that group of 40 year old men because they benefit me in the fact that they have knowledge that I can learn from I can better myself by being around the same reason you go to school but um I'd like to hang around a girl that I find attractive because it benefits me another way that I enjoy being around her somebody I get along with I have common interests with so when you do meet a girl that you strike up a friendship with and there's a there's an attraction thereof I think you're pretty I like being around you that's why you hanging out with that girl it's not because I'm looking for a wife it's because be honest to yourself about how you feel be with that girl because you want to be with that girl don't be with that girl because oh I need to find a wife you understand what I'm saying like I'm gonna be where I want to be I I see what you're saying with her is more than learning then I'll be drawing one way or the other yeah well I I see what you're saying but it's an incorrect statement to say that people aren't always looking for their mates yes you can be actively you can go to a camp with the intention of getting closer to God and you'll talk to the older people like I have a lot of fun talking to the ministers at the table so I love doing that but at the same time instinctively and according to the way your brain works you're always constantly looking from it now I do agree with you if a guy's just there like okay cool I need to find a wife or this girl's pretty to talk to her that's wrong you should you should do stuff while you're there but think that you but to think that no one ever or people usually don't find their wives when they're looking it depends on what you mean by looking because yes you are playing volleyball but you notice the pretty girl she noticed the attractive guy and they decide to talk to each other because they are both looking for a spouse now the difference between that and someone that goes to camp looking for a spouse is that they uh not just there for them they want to play volleyball but at the same time they already know subconsciously it's something that brain that they already it's already part of it that yes they are there and they do realize that they are single and part of their entire being wants a significant other dude I have a question for you all right do it when you go to a camp are you looking at girls and you looking at them and saying okay this person has the qualities of a life or you basing what you find or like would you say looking for a wife or looking for a spouse off of how you feel about the situation you you first the first thing the first step we've talked about this before of any God's promises is usually attraction who they're attracted to and then you kind of go to the other steps of like do they have the Holy Ghost like are they a good person as far as do I get along with them who do they hang out with who who are they as a person you go through all that but when you're going through all that yes we do at all times it's a secondary it's a back of the Mind thing where subconsciously we're always paying attention to people to to accuracy anyway you always have your eyes open always you may not be having a mandatory or a purpose when you go on there it's not on front burner you're not going there I want to find a wife at this Youth Camp some guys do that some do not some when I say guys who aren't looking for a wife I mean guys that are going their purpose for being at that camp is to get closer to the Lord and have a good time and if in the process of that they do a girl catches their attention and they put some effort behind it that's not going looking for a wife that is going there for a secondary purpose and that being on the back your mind because any single guy there's always going to be that loneliness there of wanting a wife if you're of any age 20 21 you're always going to want that but there's a lot of guys there's more important things to them than getting a wife like right now I'm not by at any looking for a girlfriend my main goal right now is to get good at what I do did because I work like a 60 something hour a week I'm always working so I don't have the time to show the girl a girl the attention she deserves if I was if I was in a relationship so I'm not going to go looking for a relationship that I couldn't handle and give a girl for the attention she deserves if I'm too busy at work because that's my main priority right now but uh three guys out the same way some guys are still in school at my age some guys don't have as much on their plate so they have the time for that and by all means you do what you you want to do when I it's not an incorrect statement to say that some guys are going looking for a wife and some guys find a wife because there's a lot of discoveries that have been made by people stumbling onto it you realize you're there it depends what do you mean by looking for a wife there's two different definitions of looking for a wife every man who is single is looking for a wife to some extent because they're looking for that missing piece to the puzzle they're looking for what the Imp is they have inside of them or they're the only because like Ed man was meant to have a mate but like I said there are some men that that is not their priority in life so if it's your priority Define a whack like you you're already established you're there the only thing you're lacking is a woman in your life that that's what you're liking that's going to be your prior you're looking for a wife like I had a boss he was one of my bosses was 40 and it's late late 40s and he just recently got married like a year or two ago he just had his first kid he'd never been married before and I would say that he was looking for a wife he was not going to other churches just to be he was he had his eyes open he was looking he was like this one causing attention he would he would show some attention there if it works out he would go there he wasn't pushing himself in with like every woman trying to get their attention but he that was his focus in life was he had reached he was successful he had a business he had a good house because he was stable that was the only thing he was missing with a lot with a wife and a family that's what he wanted to do to fulfill that part of his life on the other hand I am looking for a wife in the in the capacity that I would love to find a woman to call my own and to find a girlfriend but that is not my main priority so if it happens it happens and if I notice a girl and I meet her and I'm like okay let's just say I go I go to a youth camp in like the next year I meet a girl we start talking to get in a relationship a year a half goes by we end up we end up engaged okay I found a wife but I could truly say I was not looking for a wife you understand there's a difference between walking through a haystack and stumbling upon a needle and sitting down and searching straw by shooting yeah but if you have a uh a magnet on your belt that's designed to attract needles you're going to attract them because it's part of who you are I see what you're saying and I do agree I don't think people should go to uh to camps for the sole purpose of finding a wife but it's like this you go to a store you're grocery shopping you know that you're gonna have to get milk at some point it's just part of it and like someone says I feel like you should just come to it I don't even know the analogy I just sometimes I start talking and I forget I don't know what I'm saying hold on someone says I feel like you should just come to a mutual mindset if you meet your significant other even if you weren't necessarily searching quote unquote great on the other hand if you don't it's all happening inside me in my opinion yeah I agree I'm the same way I I agree um someone says this is the case that they saw a horrible relationship between their parents they don't want it for themselves they realize it's better off to be single I guess they don't want to have it they don't want to chance it or have a bad perspective of women sense that well yeah I agree I mean what I'm meaning is that everyone is um regardless of what you're doing or how you're doing it you go to a camp there's always that longing or that emptiness and everyone's always everyone's always there's an emptiness there it's the second most important decision you make outside of Salvation so say uh it does depend of course and I I do agree with you um and uh it's how do I say it I mean like for instance like what was your what were you exactly like you said this is my question to you David and you asked it and then you went on for like seven minutes uh what was your and you're fine to that that's why we're here that's awesome uh what was you're okay what was your question to me I think that was partially like my question I I stopped like Midway through I don't even remember what I was saying now but you you basically said that like I think my question to you was like what do you consider searching and then then you answered it to some extent because I think you should make is think you should like like for instance right now if I were to just uh DM every pretty girl I know of and just find the one that would just respond to me and want to talk to me in the phone and then narrow it down from there that would be in a wrong thing to do I think in my opinion what would be better for me to do is what I'm actually doing which is to try to lose weight should I get in a better position save up money be become really good at my job play some more literally what you're saying is in the Bible that it says Delight this off also in the Lord and He Shall give the desires and heart because if you make your entire existence and you're everything into making yourself into the dream husband like I'm gonna make myself a medical amazing my job save I save up a ton of money I'm going to go to camp with the intention of helping people and just having fun other than finding a girl you will I agree you will in fact find a girl you have a higher chance of meeting the one then to say okay cool I'm just gonna go trash talk to all the attractive girls you know so I agree with you like right now with my life I already tried this thing I just tried to talk to people it didn't work and maybe me going to that maybe the person today to try to do things correctly like me right now I'm not trying I haven't tried in almost a year to talk to anybody so um see I texted a girl a couple months ago and she was a total jerk and I was like well I texted hey and she was a jerk who cares so you know at this point I'm just focusing on myself with everything I've got and trying to help others and when I go to a camp I Just Want to Have Fun and um some of my frustration that I've voiced out about relationships isn't just my perspective it's what I've heard from others and their perspective of things because we want to be straight we want to be correct and we want to do things right I mean guys don't want to displace girls girls don't want to displace guys and um so I hope that answers it for you because like when I meet a girl I'm not looking like oh which one's my wife really me personally I'm wanting to find the girl that I can have chemistry with and get along with because it's going to be six months a year two years five years whatever however many long time it is before I trust her enough to want a relationship and then after that time where I trust her enough I have to have a good relationship with her dad with her pastor with her mom with a family if I can't I'll have all those different things I really don't want the girl in this guy tells me so there's a lot of things to do into this when I go to a camp I'm looking to have fun uh help people as much as I can and find people who are friends and if it's a girl cool it's a big gun cool and if it's a girl and attracted to her she's attracted to me we're gonna see if everything whole point in the whole thing was yes it is important to find a wife it is important to do those things but I feel like every guy knows that he's interested in a girl he's not actually he's more likely to act differently than he normally would if he's interested in that girl because he wants to find things in common so he may act differently around her than he would normally act because there's been times that I've seen guys trying to flirt with girls and they and they're acting completely different than they normally do I'm like why are you acting so different and they don't even realize it so if you just focus on yourself and you do your thing you're gonna fight the girl that really likes you for who you are will notice you because girls seem more than we give them credit for and they will notice guys a lot more than we think they do but they don't want you showing interesting just because they show interest in you they want you to go up to them because you see something and then so if they are being who they are and we're being who we are at some point our two paths will intersect that they're supposed to but I mean look at look at if God can make it to where a man whose Grand great grandfather was in the world war and make it through Normandy and Miss every bullet and every bombshell just so they were born and so they were in the message don't you think that you can live your own way and you can live the way that what the way that makes you feel happy in in God's will you don't think that he can make make another girl's path intersect with yours and and you get the right wife if you can believe in predestination you can believe in a predestinated spouse if you're supposed to have a have the right woman that's who you'll have and I believe that we have free will and we can we can make decisions but if that's the woman you're supposed to be with for the rest of your life even if you see her at a camp and you don't notice her you'll see her again sometimes yeah I I agree um by no means of saying don't pay attention because that may be if you feel it on your heart to pay attention that could be God leading you to pay attention but me personally I feel led to focus on myself and I feel led to focus on my career right now and I feel like the only thing I say is just don't let the the norm don't let the the general Norm of the message of these relationships pressure you into feeling like if you're not in a relationship you're not successful as a person just because you're single at 18 19 20 21 does not mean you're less liked or you're less handsome or you're not as good of a person as these people that have been in multiple relationships it just may mean that you haven't bumped into the right one and really you're better off not having ever been in a relationship than these people that I've dated three or four of what you would say the prettiest girls that you know that guy's just missed it four times like I I don't I like these some some guys have dated multiple multiple girls and they're like they're very beautiful and they're like wow he's so lucky why all these girls like him because because you like man he must have something that I don't or maybe he just got his he just got mixed up four times and you just haven't found the right one and there's so much pressure in the message that you feel like if you don't have all these girls that like you that you're ugly or you're less liked or you're not popular which is such a stupid thing in the message you'd be surprised how many people you think are popular that if you sit down and talk to them they do not feel popular whatsoever what so if they feel like they're not a liked person sometimes especially if they have the right the right idea of what it means to be liked they realize that those people are not their true friends they're just there to be there for the for the for the ride but I just I I just hate the pressure that goes over people to be popular or be in a relationship all the time so I just that's the only thing I actually don't feel like you have to be pressured to look for a girl all the time focus on you I just like God work it out and you'll be more happy the girl that finds you will be more happy or the girl you find will be more happy when you get there because you'll be successful you'll be accomplished at that time and you'll be more happy with yourself because if you just go around chasing girls for like your 18 19 20 year old self you're not going to be as successful as you possibly could be yeah that's good stuff um my dad once told me something very helpful he said David you're not looking for a girl you're looking for the girl that's exactly right and the um the correct thing to do is to be sincere and dedicate your whole life to God and to you know have fun when you're in person with these people so Chef is really good I feel like people start coordinating so early yeah um I agree it's more about being yourself and uh being what God being what God wants you to be and focus on that in life because they feel just pressure left out yeah I mean yeah those you've been LED and more than anything else like people when people ask like what is the will of God from in my life well I thought of this way like when you don't know what to do about a relationship or whatever you can focus on what you know isn't the will of God it isn't the will of God for you to be sad or depressed or lonely or you know it is the will of God for you to read your Bible and pray and listen to tapes and spend time with your family go to church have your relationship with your pastor be friends with people those things then you know say where you want to be from there and it's a uh uh you know I think yeah you should focus more on making yourself as the best version of yourself as possible be what God wants you to be as much as possible and not necessarily trying to find a relationship because yes you will stumble upon the right person you'll find that right person not by trying to make it happen but by just trying to make yourself the best person you're supposed to be believe God to give your wife type it in the table and you'll see that quote is such a good passage there believe I say believe let me find that quote believe God to give your wife um please God to give you a wife that's not uh that's not on the table I can give you a wife hold on the brand didn't stay that John I'm sure he said it just maybe in a different way John um yeah I agree make yourself into the best man possible work have fun do all the different things that's more important than uh trying to find the right one or kind of okay because you are but you're not trying to search for saying talk to this girl whatever like you were saying well as I as I said before I think we've talked enough about a relation relationships online that's live oh gosh the thing is Jeremiah since since I started this by God's grace there's been almost 300 people request to follow me so yeah we have talked about this a lot but a lot of people haven't heard any of this stuff and a lot of people throughout these lives you know I might have an average of 13 people on here but when this thing is done something that over 150 people joined throughout it that's why we talk about this a lot is to remind the people also like why do we preach the same message over and over and over and over and over and over and over again it's because there's so many different ways of approaching it and it's really to boost our faith and it's to help and we hear this you might hear the same scripture over and over and over and over and over again but you want it on the 27th time uh you hear it it'll get more effective or it'll it'll be a revelation in your mind so yeah you know it is over and over and over again but so is a lot of other things you know it's uh it's um it's for people of Joy like I tried talking about you toxic things I offered a q a in the godhead or how to get a new job right communication but no relationships so people that do it at once so you know it's people like talking about it people do yeah uh people like I do like talking about relationships and messages that's definitely true um Andrew yes yes you were correct correct what is that what does that exactly mean um a long-standing inside joke between me and me and Andrew Glover um longstanding it's really not a long story but it's hard to understand um one time we were in a hotel room me and uh him and two other brothers were there and we were all just it was like one in the morning we were all just like cracking jokes and going back and forth and I worked with two of the guys that were that were there so we were all there making jokes and I I made a joke and like everybody looked at me and like didn't laugh all of a sudden one of the guys just started playing cricket noises on his phone like like the silent cartoon like the cartoon like when nobody laughs in the joke and she's like crickets so now so then the next day because like they kept doing it like back and forth and it was it was I I just I just messed around laugh laugh because it was really funny even though it was at my expense it was still funny but you gotta you gotta admit when something's funny even when it's at your expense but um then the next day I was in the Starbucks drive-through line right behind brother Andrew and he he bought me my drink so he could put on the name crickets hahaha that's great he got that you got that got the Crickets as my name for the drink so it was it was it was pretty funny and so then ever since then um he just he has it set in his mind never to laugh at anything I say so he can I'm pretty sure he has it pre-loaded on his phone every time he sees me it's just like ready just just ready for it I told him I told him that the next time next time he preaches and nobody amens I'm just gonna play crickets cricket he's a great guy he's a great guy great guy you wanna you wanna talk about interesting saying interesting stories um brother Andrew's wife actually used to go to the church I used to go to so I I knew his wife for the longest time I had no idea who brother Andrew was because I was a young guy I really didn't know him because I didn't go to youth camp at that time so when I found I once I when I actually saw him and I found out who he'd married I was like really I was like I didn't even like know y'all knew each other like because I knew their family because this her dad is a deacon or was a deacon at the church I used to go to so of course I knew who their family was but um yeah and then eventually he and my brother were good friends and then that's how I how I got to meet brother Andrew but he's you have a brother great yeah yeah you know my brother I'm pretty sure Isaiah Sheffield he's a minister it's your brother yeah it's my brother is he the one that married the uh the uh what's your name yeah yeah it's cool I didn't know that that's for him good stuff I didn't know that was your brother that's cool uh sure Andrew sure you do oh we'll see we'll see you next time we'll see you next time maybe guarantee you girls on girls that have watched them lives and have left whatever else are thinking oh this guy seems pretty awesome what ages he thinking to get married because you know unless you just unless you're at I I'm not gay so I don't know when a guy's good looking or not but unless you're like really ugly people are probably going to think like oh there's this guy he's not interested in girls he's a manager or people older than him he's amazing he's so wonderful when's he gonna get married so like people are probably thinking that you know because you've had a girlfriend here's the difference that I am not just like a blank sheet I'm not just like somebody who's like building a reputation all of a sudden in the message people know me they they've known me since I was younger yeah like these girls are not like oh my gosh oh my gosh they're like yeah that's just shucky which I am I'm talking about the ones that are from other states that don't know you they're just seeing you for the first time what what is the Marion gauge for Jeremiah Sheffield because he's not 18 apparently no I'm no I'm I'm actually 19 dated last time I talked to you said you were 18 but I guess you had a birthday happy birthday thank you thank you 19. I always say 18 even though I was like I was last time we talked I was like a month for May 19th but I just always say the age I am not a month from 19 because it makes me feel like a little kid but um no I say I'm 22 because saying I'm a month from being 23 makes me feel old living by myself and paying bills makes me feel old David you live by yourself pay your own bills I moved out uh half a year ago why um well I got a job that's far away from where my parents lived and I was commuting really really far to work and um I was done with school um didn't really have time to like do like the whole chores thing because I was working so much and I I thought that I could do better on my own I wanted to move out have freedom it was definitely a shock it was something new it wasn't something I was used to but I grew up a lot faster than I would have if I was at home and I uh I'm I I look back at it and there was a lot of stuff that I wasn't ready for a lot of things that I would have much other been at home it would have been more comfortable and I would have been I would have been comfortable but I wouldn't have excelled to the point where I am now I'm much more successful now that I would have been if I stayed at home so I'm I've much rather be where I am now because I would I would have been comfortable at home so there would have been no reason I would have felt safe I would have felt comfortable I wouldn't have needed to be more successful so therefore I would have stayed where I was when I moved out that drove me to get a better job make more money be more successful be self-sufficient because when you're on your own yes you have more freedom but you're only responsible to yourself but nobody is responsible for you if you mess up that's on you so then that's when you really you kind of feel the weight of the world on your shoulders for a little while and then it kind of you just start to become used to it yeah as they say the uh what is it the struggles of life and the way the way of the world as they say like with bills and stuff but you learn how to be an adult and I think it was a good I wouldn't recommend anybody moving out younger than that unless they're just in a free like no I don't mean to say free unless they're just really successful at a young age and really mature for their age 18 was probably the oldest or the youngest I would do it but it really just depends on your situation because I graduated at 16 because I was homeschooled finished high school at 16 and a half and I was working a full-time job at 15 and a half so I I I've been working for three or four years before I moved out anyway so like I was in a weird position I had a brand new car and I had been working for years so like I had to work I had work experience and a paid off car so I I was in a good position to do it I'm a 2023 Corolla so paid off uh 200 left I mean it's it's holy cats I didn't know you were an absolute Giga Chad holy cats man wow oh no I'm not a giga Chad there I think there's a guy I know there's a guy know his name Noah fanberg he not that that is a giga chat he works probably more than I do and he he's successful got like two vehicles Works crazy hard lifts weights is in great shape now that's that's a guy to watch out for he's gonna he's gonna catch him a good one where you are what 99 of men aren't so kudos to you and I'm including the people that are older than you as well good for you man holy cat so like how long have you been by yourself uh about half a year I moved out like February of February was it like in December like January yeah I mean ultimately what the hell do you get married question that's just to uh would be fun like ultimates whatever God wants an intellectuality neither do I know it could be like I said I'm so focused on work right now and working my way towards like project manager and like stuff into the business that like there's so my brain is so focused on work that I don't even have time like really I give you an idea of my schedule I get up at 5 40 in the morning I'm at work an hour from here I'm at work at seven how long I work when you're driving when you're at your parents house if you have to drive an hour now um right now for my parents house actually surprisingly I had a different job which um my normal my normal area where I work is like 30 minutes from here but I'm working in like a city that's about an hour from me right now so it's a weird situation not normal like that I used to drive the same amount of time before but that was this job is completely out of the ordinary for our company we normally work in like a city that's like 30 to 40 minutes for me it's way closer but if I was in Gastonia which is where I used to live it'd be like an hour and a half so like right now I I work far but it's like not as far as it would be if I still live with my parents but um what do you eat um I actually make your own food yeah I do I cook I don't cook all the time but I I do cooks a lot of times my lunches um I usually for breakfast you like yogurt and granola and maybe like a banana and like a granola bar or something just I try to eat healthy for breakfast and then I uh I usually make like baked chicken and like rice and like some vegetables and stuff for like a lunch and then I'll um either like I'm trying right now to skip dinner I'm trying to like do intermittent fasting from like lunch to like breakfast the next day to try to keep most of my time where I'm fasting like while I'm asleep so wow let him cook let him cook yeah I'm trying to um I'm trying to kind of get my work life straightened out my sleep scheduled straightened out which is not working great tonight uh trying to get my food schedule good and uh get back in the gym I used to work out when I was at my parents house I used to work out like every single day for like two hours that was when I was in my best shape but then I started working more and I been putting on the pounds so try to lose it how much sleep do you get every night I shoot for like seven I usually get just under seven cool what uh do you still go to Camp so you're not going to campus anymore how's that with you I was too busy recently for camps um I've been booked like solid so I I probably will make it to win a YouTube treat because that's during my time off for like we get like a winner like for Christmas and stuff I usually I'll probably be there and that'll probably be it for this year and I'm hoping next year I'll be able to plan it to where I can schedule to be off work for maybe one Camp maybe like I'll pick one and go to that one but cool I'm not sure right now right right now I'm trying to save money and uh build my first house so what's the goal uh too bad too bad good office pretty much that's it I'm not really anything big I'm planning to get the Shell built hopefully like get like the framing masonry like roof and all that kind of stuff on there all like the outside and the main stuff drywall paint and then finish it out myself uh flooring cabinets countertops bathrooms faucets all the like that kind of stuff but the plumbing electrical and all that will be done beforehand so because I do construction I can do all the other stuff by myself since you live by yourself you're 19 barely people would say that you probably are feel pretty lonely by yourself like you have a dog or a teddy bear what do you do I go to work I'm not in the I go to work and I'm at work probably till like 5 30ish and then I drive an hour back so I'm home at like 6 30. so by the time I'm back on my sister I try to go to bed around 10 9 to 10. so I don't really have much time to feel lonely as you would say of course like I would love that like I'd love to have that like interaction but like I said I don't have time like I don't have time to be going up weekends to go visit a girlfriend or like to spend days with a girlfriend because I don't have time to like spend evenings I'm like I don't just don't have that time in my schedule like the most I could offer a girl would be like phone calls and like texts and not even that much because I'm at work and like I'm because I'm a manager I'm relied upon a lot and I'm always busy so because of that I have to be focused 100 because not only am I trying to to run a job I'm also trying to learn while I do it so what's that that's uh where do you go to church I go to brother Josh Bennett's Church in North Carolina in Newton North Carolina yes best Church in the message David David's looking at me like don't be saying that now buddy don't be saying that everyone everybody feel everybody feels partial to their own church yeah pretty much it's very subjective too but um I am a 19 years old and yes I I am technically technically considered a field assistant to a project manager but what I do that the reason I say manager is because that's really the closest thing to what people would say I do I go on to a site and I um I'm the representative of my company and like prop really what you think of as a contractor like when you go in and you see like a guy that's like the one main guy is like hey I want you to go over here do this to go over here do this people come and asking like how do I do this that's what I do like I'm I'm the guy that people go to and like I'm the guy that directs people I basically like schedule um schedule subcontractors like plumbers electricians people like that to come in and do work and speak to the management um there at the facility I'm working at because it's commercial construction we go into places like Walmart and like fake stuff things like that we'll remodel bathrooms and everything so I have to talk to management there but um technically I'm not I I don't have the title of a manager but that is the closest thing the closest title to what I do to kind of give an explanation of what I do on a daily basis interesting wow like so you don't have to give the exact number if you want like what is a ballpark is what it actually like do you live in an apartment or do you rent or where do you what do you live at um I rent right now um I rent a duplex um so like just because some ASM people like even me like we're wondering like what it actually costs to live on your own so like hold on let me see what Olivia says okay let me get straight your qualifications are a field manager assistance representative ahead honcho a legit Chef responsible handyman that's a life priorities are straight it is barely only 19. I was raised to be uh to be grown up I'll put it that way I um I my parents did um Medicare insurance which is for senior citizens so I grew up uh working in the family business I was there around a lot of people that were three times four times five times my age so I learned to speak and express myself and speak to adults yes sir yes ma'am no sir no no like uh yes or no sir things like that be respectful thank you I mean speak on the phone how to how to speak clearly how to um answer a phone like I did a customer service for like the first year and a half that I worked I sat behind a desk and did notes um I would answer the phone take voicemails take messages things like that like pretty much what a secretary would do and I was like 15 and a half at that point so I um I grew up with like more responsibility like or with like consequences I guess you could say like what I was doing had consequences if I messed up so I grew up a little faster in that area and then when I finished high school and I started doing construction during high school because I was actually working a job while I was finishing up online high school I did Penn Foster and uh when I finished that then I went full time into construction and then into what I do now so I I ever since I was like 15 I've really been doing some kind of work some kind of something and just trying to better myself as I did it there's always a new level there's always a new level to reach like life is like a big video game it's just there's you always have to get stronger and have to get better to reach the new level in life whether that a new job a new family I shouldn't take new family whether it's a new job or a family or just the next step in your walk with the Lord there's always something that you need to level up as you could say to reach that in life so for me it's just take it one step at a time I guess it sounds more impressive on paper than it does in real life because if you go there if you actually look if you were there while I was doing it you'll see a lot of a lot of stumbling around trying to figure it out as I go because I'm still only 19. there's a lot that I don't know about life which is why like I said that table of 40 year old guys is the best place you could be five successful Men twice three times your age one guys like to talk they like to talk they like to share knowledge because they if you can find somebody and you can share common interest if they're a successful person they'd like to see other people that want to be successful if they see you as somebody who's striving to be the best they could be they're gonna they're gonna want to lift you on top of their shoulders and carry you to where you want to get and if you're just willing to listen and soak up knowledge you will learn so much by just being around them I get along better with a lot of my friends dads than I do with them like I don't know if you know brother Ben McCafferty at brother Berry coffee church I love Ethan and his son me and him get along great we love hanging out together but we make jokes that I'm better friends with his dad than I am with him because I met his dad before I met Ethan and I I became friends with his father and like talked to him about business stuff before I even knew Ethan was his son so that's that's just what I like doing but then again I also like to sit down and play volleyball and do stuff like that uh Nathaniel reason I was not at church last night was because I had to work late I got held up at the job in Charlotte yeah man I I see I was at twt or Bethel last year I got I also got along really good with uh Ben McCafferty he's awesome man he's a good salesman yeah so like again yeah I'm very interested in obtaining this knowledge um sheffy why were you why were you not at church last night that's what I just answered to Nathaniel I um I had to work late in a city like this Castle right Charlotte here in North Carolina and it's like an hour and something from the church so but I didn't what is it what is the cost to live monthly because right now pay over two thousand dollars in bills a month including rent like regular like paying for my like car health insurance car insurance um power bill electric bill um all that kind of stuff like that's not even that's not even including food that's not including food yes that's just bills like a mandatory stuff that does not change every month that's over two thousand dollars in just bills what advice would you give to a 14 year old guys 14 year old guys um first of all they're probably not going to finish high school until they're 18. so don't move out before you finish High School um and start working as soon as you possibly can throw throw out your gaming system I I when I moved out I got a game because when I was at home with my parents my parents did like video games so like they didn't like that Xbox and PS5 I got a PS5 when I moved out I had it for two months three months and I got rid of it one because it took up too much time like I I found myself getting addicted to it like I wanted I would come home from work play it to like two three in the morning and then be tired at work and I couldn't function because like I wanted to play the game and I enjoyed it but it was take it was sucking me in taking too much of my time and I was not able to function on what was important if you can play video games and you can still function and you can still do what's important first by all means go for it but if it's taking up time that you should be spending on work or you should be spending on your family or things to do at your house like if your house is a wreck because you're playing video games dad that's the wrong priority but if you know also if you're too tired to function at work and mentally Excel like I like my manager actually talking to me was like Hey I don't know what's going on but for like the past month you have just not been here like you've not been here mentally like you've been out of it and I was like yeah I've been like dead tired this whole time because I was spending too much time on video games and so that's one thing I would I would recommend is just not playing staying off of video games as much as you can because other than just a release of just being able to relax there's no benefit to it other than that um except for that I would just say work as much as you can get a job as soon as you can learn to save money learn the practice of working learn that work is the most important thing besides church and then when you get a family then your family comes comes next but um learn learn hard work that's like the main thing because when you move out there is no I'm tired I don't want to go into work there is no I'm sick I don't want to go to work unless you're actually contagious sick if you just have like a sinus infection or your allergies are kicking up you've got to go to work when you have bills to pay you've got to go to work you can't afford to miss a day working like without what I do if I don't show up to the job then then my company loses money because when I when I don't show up they have to send all those guys home because I'm not there and all those if they're getting paid by the hour or by the contract that either throws the job schedule off or if those guys are paid hourly they get paid for 10 hours they didn't work and that's like thousands of dollars so if I don't show up to work when I'm supposed to to like give you an example if I'm 30 minutes late to work and there's four guys they're waiting on me most of those guys are going to pay 20 an hour if I'm 30 30 minutes late that's ten dollars for each of those boys that's 40 bucks that we just lost or maybe in 30 minutes late so I mean like there's consequences to everything when you get older so um yes I do get sick days James um um I do get sick days but there's a difference between being sick and just not feeling good if you don't feel like a hundred percent because you're like have a sinus infection that's not the same as like being like having the flu having the flu if you have to take a day off because you're like sick running a fever I've had to do that before I like one day went home because I was tired and um I took a nap I woke up the net that night and I was running like a fever of like 102. so I called called my boss I was like hey I can't come into work tomorrow I'm gonna get people sick as soon as I got it and then like he rearranged his schedule and went to the job but in commercial construction they don't care if it's your brother's wedding if they need something done they want you at the job because it because when you're interrupting the flow of their work they lose money so like companies do not care residential construction is much more forgiving than commercial because like if you're at Walmart and like they have to shut down a portion of their their like business for you to work that's they're losing money like we do almost all the remodel for Lowe's corporate here in Mooresville North Carolina so like the corporate like Lowe's uh Home Improvement all of their like stores their Corporate Offices here in North Carolina and we do all the remodel for them almost we contract it it's like we'll take whole industrial floors like of just office space and we'll remodel all of it all at once so if we take longer than our allotted time in that area like if we're supposed to be there for four or five months and we take we take an extra 10 days that's 10 days of profit that they just lost so what would you say is your Kryptonite chefy um two things energy drinks are ones because I used to uh work on a framing crew I was always tired so I was always chugging the energy drinks just to like keep myself like because I was having to move and stay like on top of it and Instagram reels because you get stuck in that trap of scrolling through Instagram reels and you will not go to sleep when you mean to either that or the snooze button on my phone good stuff I don't know uh when you any anybody who gets up early understands what I mean when they when I talk about snooze because you'll hit snooze like five or six times like I'll set my alarm 20 minutes early and then hit snooze twice okay what advice did you give people not to use the snooze button so much [Music] there's a study that shows that if you get up when your alarm goes off that you feel better in the morning because you you wake up like of course the best sleep you have is when you wake up naturally but when you you when you get jerked awake you're when you get jerked what you're you're not fully awake so like you still have that grogginess so that's why it's hard to get up and get going in the morning but they say when you hit snooze in that 10 minutes you go back into like REM sleep or whatever they call it and like when you wake up the second time you feel even worse than you would have if you just got up in the morning and just got started going that's what they say I don't really know if that's true or not but I like read a study about that I really don't know if that's true or not what did you put your yeah he's like putting your phone across the room would be good oh I've tried that what happened I used to have my alarm set on the other side of my room and I would be so tired that I would get up turn the alarm off get back in bed and be asleep like that that's what I did too it's a terribly bad habit that is something I would highly recommend if I do not use this new button because you will never it's a really hard habit to overcome so yeah yeah I definitely don't recommend doing it well I think you're a beard chiffy uh because I cannot it's too patchy I don't grow facial hair like up here on my like on like the top it gets super blonde here but like super brown down here interesting um it says someone can sleep four hours and feel more rested than someone that's like eight plus if they wake up in a better ah yeah I guess like there's some people that just don't require a lot of sleep they do say that like they recommend for most people eight hours is like a good a good seven to eight is a good range but like I know some people that can function perfectly fine off like five hours of sleep a night I'm just not one of them um like I'm fine like tonight I'll be fine when I get up and I only get like five hours I'll be fine but it's not something I like doing all the time it's just like something that like I can get five hours I can function but tomorrow night when I go to sleep I'm Gonna Wanna I'm gonna go to sleep early like I'm gonna go to sleep at like nine tomorrow like I'm not not gonna stay up super late oh speaking of late do you want to call it quits since it's almost 1am I'm not for whatever you're down for um I don't think we have a lot of viewers right now anyway so I think right now 11 people got am an evening person if you get me like from 10 to like 12 like till 10 to like one one to two o'clock if I'm awake I feel alive then give me like three o'clock and I'm like dozing off you look tired David oh a little bit I'm fine I'm okay um um it says no look how active I think so wait if I'm correct you the uh the uh is she the one that you had on your chat like a couple days ago oh no on here she's the one getting relationship advice yeah she was she was on here um let's see what it is today last week last Friday or last Saturday it's almost four hours long it was really good it was good stuff yeah I was on there for a portion of it I didn't get to listen to the whole thing but I was on there for a portion um it seemed like y'all are getting really deep into it yeah it's interesting to hear these things from different girls perspectives because ultimately we want to like you become the best versions of ourselves save up a ton of money create an empire and become a king that'll attract a queen oh oh there's so much to say so much not to say about that kind of stuff I try to stay out of it as much as I can let people make their make their own decisions about stuff like that but um I don't know I like to I'd like to share my opinion sometimes but sometimes I just like to the best way to figure something out is to figure it out on your own and figure it out your way because sometimes you just can't tell people certain things sometimes they have to experience it themselves I'm a lot the same way so if it's if it's something where you need to experience it and you need to see it firsthand what like what these guys mean when they say certain things something just can't be expressed in words and and you're just not gonna believe them until you see it that way yourself so that's why somebody asked me for advice I'll give it to them but and sometimes I'll share my advice people they don't ask if I feel like it's warranted or it's necessary but I myself have to learn a lot of things the hard way and that's the best way to learn it in my opinion is buy firsthand experience whether that's the school Hard Knocks as they call it or it's just like seeing somebody else go through it sometimes you just go it's however your brain functions mine just functions best when I learn it myself um are you already investing in a uh what's happening right you're already investing like a 401k or anything like that like that way yeah and you're a retired millionaire oh let's let's hope that I I prefer to wake up in the morning or just not wake up and just it'll all just be one long dream and we'll all just out of here I I I'm not one of those guys that's like Let The Rapture wait till I'm successful I'll be successful enough when the Rapture happens I would rather wake up tomorrow and it all just come to an end the Rapture happened and we're just all out of here because I as far as I'm concerned nothing I could accomplish on this side would be as important or be worth more than having Eternal peace after the Rapture I mean like there's nothing even even having children I would want my children to be born into this world like in the world the way it is as rough it is as it is for me I wouldn't want them to grow up in this world as much as I had to find as much as I had to struggle I don't I don't wish that upon them at all but if I'm here brother Brandon said to the plant the planter to plant your your harvests and to build your build your houses and to plan to be here for the rest of your life so that's what I'm doing but it would not hurt my feelings one bit to never touch a million dollars to never touch another dollar for all just to go away because all this is temporary but okay like I said I plan to be a millionaire so I could be comfortable and I could take care of my family but like I said that's not the most important thing to me I would rather I'd much rather all just end right now yeah let's see um I don't want the Rapture to happen right now or tomorrow or blasphemy because blasphemy because I enjoy disappointing the devil and I want to raise get married and raise children and help them because they asked to be growing up in this world and it'll be terrible but also they'll get to experience the hard Parts they'll also get to experience the victories and the value of falling because anything good in your life isn't good unless you fail when you hurt contrast and you it's a contract it's like whether Donovan purchase someone on the contrast between the two dimensions of like a have it in here so yeah the raps are great but I want to help more people I want to preach more people I want to try to convert more people and I want to raise kids in the animation with the Lord and enjoy it I enjoy falling because I get to get back up again disappoint the devil again because in heaven yeah it'll be amazing it'll be wonderful the Eternal happiness and I am looking forward to that however the thing I'll miss in some ways in heaven in the Rapture is falling failing and getting back up again and keep on fighting having the ability to fail having the ability to make a mistake so that he can get up again and keep on fighting and keep on trying because it's not to contradict it at all like it's it's we're both right we both want the best things I just enjoy the uh I enjoyed the fight I enjoy the battle it is difficult but like the value and the beauty of like why was this new job that I got so valuable because I lost my other one and it was hard for a little while and I couldn't fall asleep till six or seven o'clock in the morning said nothing to do the next day for a while but is awesome preaching fighting yes I can't wait for the Eternal peace let's see nah I'd much rather just watch him burn and worship Lord forever yes exactly I know but the reason why you think that way is because you've went through suffering well David if if I could if I could say it this way the Rapture is only going to happen when the Lord predestinated for it to happen so when the Rapture happens you will have accomplished everything that God predestined for you to accomplish in your life whether that's how many people you've preached to how many people you've witnessed to what you accomplished in your life so what I'd say I'd rather the Rapture happen right now what I'm what I'm saying is I I want the Lord's will in my life to be unfolded and I if that's if if the last Soul comes in I'm ready I want it to happen now but that's why because I'm saying the rapture's not going to happen until the Lord's ready for it to happen so when it happens whether you're married or whether you've preached another sermon the Rapture is going to happen when God's ready for it to happen and when you've accomplished everything that he wanted you to accomplish also just because we're in heaven doesn't mean we're still gonna have many pictures after the Rapture happens like the battle of Armageddon I mean every day we live with eternal life is a victory over the devil because he he failed to get us he had thousands of years to get us and he failed every day we live with God eternal life and and the devil will be changed in the pit and hell and chained by the chain of circumstances and he has to sit there and watch us have victory over him so I do understand what you mean like having the having the the feeling of victory over something but every step we take in our theophany is another victory over Satan period and it's and and we'll we'll still have the members of all the times we failed because that's showing us God's grace and that's reminding us of God's love for us I agree with that statue of a perfect man there is no more there's no there's no more need for suffering yeah yeah I agree and we will uh you know there is a predestinated time I do agree oh think of it this way the greatest some of the greatest warriors to ever fight the value was in the Battle and in the fighting and in the persevering when things got tough and then you introduce them to Eternal peace and no more war and yes that'll be beautiful it'll be wonderful but you know what the uh you know what the uh what the warrior misses once he's won the fight there is a value in my heart this is my personal revelation and it's not saying anybody's wrong or right because part of me just wants to happen immediately it's really hard but at the same time I love it when Satan thinks he's got me gets me to fall and then I can get back up again and keep on going I love disappoint the devil and yes he'll be bound and yes he'll be chained but I'll never be able to fall again I never would make any more mistakes and I'm trying to say that I enjoy the fight I enjoy the the opportunity to fall and get back up again which we won't get to do after the Rapture which is the way God ordained it it's whatever God wants people say do you want the Rapture to happen now no you enjoy you said you enjoy following the game back up I really think what you mean is you enjoy you enjoy getting you enjoy getting up you don't enjoy the fall no I enjoy this if you enjoy ballpark if you're if you enjoy the fall you're a psychopath because I mean nobody likes messing up nobody likes getting hurt nobody likes failing and they're like disappointed in God but really I I do see where you're coming from on that portion I don't I don't necessarily think that I agree with you on the fact that I've I would feel that way but I do see your your line of thought of a warrior missing the battle but if you think of the greatest story of all time that would be Christ who won the greatest battle but it truly the greatest battle we could ever win would be to overcome ourself chance to let go and let God so really every Warrior as a in history has reached a final battle where they're either overcame everything or they lost look at Napoleon he conquered nearly the whole world but then he was killed by uh his own his own drinking and and his own um his own foolish foolishness in battle he was wounded because of his own foolishness because he would put himself in a position because he thought that he could not be defeated he'd put himself in these dangerous situations and that he was defeated you see you see these what we think of as Warriors they use that kind of fight they use that through of the battle to fill that emptiness in their heart the same way people now to use drugs and alcohol and pornography and things like that to fill that empty Gap without God but without God fighting is is pointless without a real reason to fight the only people I could ever say that have a real reason to fight would have been that wasn't a man-made reason would have been the Israelites when God told them go here destroy these people then like kill these people take take your land that's the only real reason I could ever see for fighting that is not a man-made reason of course you can make Arguments for fighting for freedom fighting for your family to protect them fighting for our country yes but those are all man-made reasons those are all man-made problems that we're fixing but when we get to heaven I think you're gonna have the perfect mind of God when you get to heaven and you should and really brother talks about right now if you have the Holy Ghost you can come to the point where you have the perfect mind of God on Earth you can if you gotta get so in tune with God that you that that you have the mind of Christ yeah I agreement said we're we're already Sons and Daughters of God we're already living in Heavenly places we're already living eternally right now well the difference is we're going to go to a different body so you know yes I want the Rapture to happen I don't want it to happen now because there's still more battles to fight now if God ordained a debate God who needed to be but I enjoy the the battles to fight I enjoy the you know strategizing about you know what to what to preach next how to do it how to you know writing up the sermon and like the and the um yes piece is wonderful and pieces made pieces is what we want but it's not about the the the the in some ways sometimes it's not about the end result it's about the journey in some ways it's uh however it's hard for me to explain I yes I can't wait for the Rapture I want to see my brother that was stillborn can't wait to see videos that have gone on and it is the it is what I want I do want the Rapture to happen right now and I also know that in heaven I will miss the fight Battle of armaged would be great and they'll go through that and then we'll go back to a new Earth eternity and I'm literally after worshiping God for eight trillion billion years of eternities I'm going to create but that's where we can create worlds create worlds and there is like God created us not just where you're instantly strong he put us through he what he did to make us strong so we're going through these things to become stronger as Christians and as message Believers so the David it sounds like you enjoy the process of going and you're worried it will not be in present in heaven is that correct no I'm not worried about anything in heaven at all Heaven's going to be perfect and it's going to be the most amazing thing ever I'm not at all saying that I'm worried about anything in heaven I'm saying that um God created us to overcome and I love if we're coming and as far as saying oh well once you overcome the flesh you'll make the Rapture you can't overcome the flesh it's always going to love the things your mistakes you're always going to have them stumbling and following doesn't have one thing to do with it you can't save your flesh if there's anything you can do within yourself married anything the presence of God Jesus didn't have to die for you you're gonna be fighting your flesh until the day you die but the fighting the greatest battle ever fought in and of itself falling and still fighting is valuable and it's such a a thing to uh have value in yeah I want the Rapture to happen and I'm not worried about anything that happened not at all I just know that in heaven there will be no fighting there will be no fight in the devil every day and it is hard on me to fight the devil it is hard to wake up and have Satan constantly against me all the time but I also love disappointing him I love giving him a black eye every day that I can yes we'll do it once and for all one day and I look forward to that with all my heart I also look forward to the next day what gets me like a interview asked me like what could you up in the morning and I couldn't tell them because I was like uh I get to give the devil a black guy that's why I like getting up in the morning because I get to Define what he wants and I get to fight devils and fight demons and fight the devil every through fight Satan every single day and it's a um like Michael Jordan let's say Michael Jordan he got six championships he's considered to be the greatest of all time and if I'm not mistaken brother I said we'll live and work and do things in heaven just like afternoon yeah he said something like that it won't be like it is now as far as I know but I'm gonna make an adoption out of it I'm just saying my personal opinion and Revelation on it you know Michael Jordan did all the things but you really wishes he could do he'd go back to being young again and fighting like well purpose yeah I know I know I just I enjoyed this chapter of life you know there's gonna be the eternity and all that I just enjoy the space of time where I'm not invincible and I don't have the theophany body and I don't have you know hey Jesus can I talk to you please or Hey Brother whatever it's just this uh it's hard to explain it's it's this thing like it's kind of like preaching against I still get to fight devils and contradict what Satan once every single day I enjoy it with everything that's within me because I know it disappoints him and he gets to knock me down sometimes but guess what definitely a purpose I agree I agree but I'm not at all saying please don't misunderstand me I am not saying I don't like heaven dear God I'm not saying that I'm saying that I enjoy World War II you know we enjoy it like yeah there's peace afterwards but you miss being able to kill Germans you just do that's what I'm saying careful with that one Dave um I I think that's that's a good generalization but um I I would say that I I would I would just say that no ma'am have fallen World War II wishes for World War II to be back which is well I don't still kill Germans I I don't that's not what I mean right statement uh What uh let me use a better example that's a bad one David wishes he could go back to being young again and being the guy that kills a bunch of Philistines when he's old yeah that's what I mean I get where you're coming from I think really what you're trying to say is that yes you're excited for the next chapter and and you're excited for the Rapture but you're just not you're not done you feel like you have more to accomplish more battles to win and this current state you know if you have more that you feel like you could accomplished for the Lord right now and that's really what you want to focus on right now and you're just not ready you don't feel like you're ready to go in the Rapture yet because you feel like there's more that you could accomplish well I know I'm ready to go in there I'm sure because the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and all that you oh okay I feel like more for you to accomplish the Lord so you're not that you're not ready you don't want to go into Rapture yet because you want to accomplish more for God um it's kind of what it sounds have you ever played any sports have you ever played any sports Jeremiah not uh competitively no like in church yeah so have you ever talk to an old person that feels like they're useless yes that way because they can't do stuff anymore nothing is the case in heaven but what I'm saying is is that I enjoy being where I am now I enjoy preaching I enjoy the fight I enjoy the flesh holding me down and then God bring me back back up again and fighting and preaching with everything within me and then falling and getting back up and trying again and getting better at things and stuff like that it is a uh it's what God made me for and it's still you feel fulfilled you feel purpose you feel you feel in in what they say invigored you feel you feel the energy of of having a purpose in life so I definitely get where you're coming from on that and and defeating Devils too it nothing helps me more than to take away complexes from someone in their mind with words that are spoken and helped and stuff like that and to defeat devils and you know change people's lives from the things that we say and do to help them and bring them back to the fold because the Rapture hasn't happened yet I'll think what I'm thinking until their action happens you probably because it's uh because there actually hasn't happened yet which means there's still more people we need to bring back to the fold and I enjoy fighting in this fight because God put me here God placed me here to fight with everything that's within me and the Rapture hasn't happened yet I'm still here my dad's still here you know we're also here so while we're here I think we should enjoy what we're doing with all our heart instead of this attitude of oh I wish it would just end I hate this life I hate when I'm going no I love it I love the fight I love the failure I love everything I love every single bit of it and then when the Rapture happens I'll love that too yeah so I hope that puts his perspective yeah um I definitely think I think you have a point um I definitely I would not say that I myself agree with you on on that point but I I do think it's not I don't think it's a wrong idea but I don't necessarily I wouldn't say I agree with you on it but like I said it's not it's not a point worth it's worth me arguing it's not a Salvation issue it's a thing yeah I think that's like a personal revelation like kind of personal feeling honestly so I was just my attitude towards it but it doesn't affect anything it doesn't actually matter it's just honestly it's a uh it doesn't affect LeBron's Legacy exactly it's just a cool little stand it's a cool it's a cool way of looking at it you know it's a like if someone told you that there's still people to be saved and you're responsible for saving them would you wouldn't want you would you still want their option to happen away and those people not be saved no you wouldn't you would want to uh stay here and help save them because I don't I don't believe the Rapture is going to happen until those people are going to be that's what I'm saying you know when the Rapture happens I'm not gonna be like ah man I want to keep fighting no because it hasn't happened yet so there's still people to save so I still need to keep on fighting that's why I think this way is because the Rapture hasn't happened yet until it does also think I see we should always do the best we can for God however I can't help but think of when brother bam talks about people have gone on and how they would never want to come back to this pig pen show no it's uh my mom cooked me a steak earlier you're eating it with your hands well I already closed up it's just a little pieces you know are you uh are you an animal it's so wonderful glorious we can't imagine none of them wish they could come back for any reason of course yeah and I'm not wishing I'd go back I'm saying if the Rapture hasn't happened yet God or day me to be here so I'm gonna enjoy where I'm at with all my heart and soul once it happens I'm gonna be thrilled out of my mind I don't have to worry like it's for instance like when I uh had to drive over an hour a day for work I had to learn to enjoy it and no it didn't anymore so I don't have to worry about that anymore so I'm not saying I don't want the interaction to happen I'm saying since it hasn't yet I'm going to enjoy where I'm at and keep fighting with all my heart and soul I hope people don't take what I'm saying and say oh David say he doesn't want their option to happen even if God ordained it which would be really irritating I'm just saying it hasn't we're still here so God still wants me to fight and I'm going to fight with everything within me because I love to fight and I love to get back up again disappoint the devil I also love to uh I'd love for the Rapture to happen of course but in God's timing I also love me which is actually I think I think medium rational it's good oh dear Lord oh I know medium rare okay I think you said medium one no I was like oh I'd rather die no no no no no Lord come quickly if you're doing that no medium rare medium well dear Lord you might be in beef jerky no way no can we see each other I gotta cook you some meat I'm good at cooking meat it's delicious I make the best chicken day chicken tenders you've ever had I guarantee it really well you cook the chicken tenders I'll cook the burgers in the steak when I finish my chicken tenders and I pull them out of the oven when I go to check like the inside to make sure like they're white and not like pink my board just slides like right through it like almost like you're making me so hungry it just breaks up like I can go like take it and like go to like bend it and it just snaps in half it's just juicy and tender on the inside it's it's like the best for some reason I'm like really good at making baked chicken tenders and it makes no sense but like that was like the first thing I learned to cook and like the first batch like I was expecting them to be nasty because I've never cooked really anything in my life but I had made really good chicken tenders so we've gone from relationships to the Rapture to chicken tenders yeah hey God like food like literally Luke the way Luke remembers it in the gospels was that Jesus comes back from being dead and he's raising the dead and everyone's shocked and the first thing he says here is do you have any meat here [Music] I was talking to some some guy I work with you're the Catholic and um he really wasn't a devout Catholic he was just kind of like he you he grew up Catholic and like his parents were catholic so like he kind of just believed like Catholicism and I asked him really what he knew about it he really didn't know much and I like I was just like so do you realize that like Catholicism really doesn't line up with like the way the Bible teaches it like teaches about Jesus and he was like no I was like what do you mean I was like well I was like like the Catholicism teaches that God is three different people if you read the Bible it says that God is one person in three different manifestations and he's like really I was like yeah I was like if you read through it like they say father son and father Son and Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit and and I was like explaining like kind of titles and like kind of the godhead and just like a short conversation we were kind of talking about like the godhead make the Trinity and like we were talking about it in like how Mary really wasn't like she shouldn't she's like Mary was just kind of like an incubator she was not the mother the mother of Christ decision overused term in Catholicism because they almost DFI Mary and we were just having they do do it right basically he really was just um kind of shocked because he was not like a devout Catholic so he doesn't like read the Bible like he's not like a real like a devout Christian so he just that's all he's ever known so he just believed Catholicism because he believed that was like Christianity and like he really didn't know anything about the rest of it like all he knew is that they believed like in Saints and they believed in Jesus and that he was three different people so and like it was really interesting conversation it's kind of somebody I've been like kind of growing friends with he's around my age and he's kind of like we just been having conversations so I'm hoping that I get to talk to him more about it and that um I recommended to him that he read King James version um Bible and just read through it from Genesis to Revelations and see what he finds and see what how he thinks it reads because if you read the King James version with an open mind you'll see that Catholic what Catholicism teaches is completely against the Bible I mean all that stuff came from the knife scene in Council in Rome with Constantine when they Blended uh the Pagan the Pagan teachings of the Roman gods and the paganism there and they mixed it with Christianity because Constantine didn't even technically convert to Christianity until much much later right before he died he did it as kind of like a political thing at the one point but really there's a lot of people that like say they're Catholic that don't even really know what Catholicism teaches and like they don't they don't realize that it's not what the Bible teaches they really don't know but um I actually meant to talk to one guy who wasn't about Catholic and he said that a lot of people don't realize that they say like when they say holy Mary like they when they say like um like the holy like the holy Marys or whatever they say um they're not saying like pray to Mary they're at they're not praying to Mary they're praying like holy Mary like like they're they're praying to her as an intercessor which we know is wrong we know that you're not supposed to pray like we're only only through Christ this is the only intercession between God and man but there's a lot of people that like Christians that believe that Catholics they're like praying to Mary as a God but really what they're doing it was just like a better understanding what they're doing which I didn't understand he he's saying they're praying to marry like like Mary like take our prayers to Christ like almost like that like intercede for us with Christ is what they're doing like they're not praying like to Mary to fix their problems like they're praying to marry like share their problems you know you know what I'm saying yeah like almost like the mailman kind of like idea which is still wrong but like it's just different than what we've been taught I believe yeah my dad was raised in uh Catholicism so we hear something about that from the preaching all right so I gotta go to bed here so I have one last question for you and we'll actually segue into one of the next slides that I do probably so you said that God isn't three persons and if you don't want to answer the specifics the questions that's been offensive at all it's a it's probably the hardest subject there is the message um it's not three persons so what about when Jesus and someone asked us to brother Brandon By the way too Dante um what about when Jesus praying Gethsemane what's that all about like he's saying not my will but thy will be done father how can Jesus pray to a father if they're not two persons simple same way same way that we can believe he says when he says that you go on to my father and he said if you believe in my father and you believe in me right if you and if you believe on me you believe on my father when he was talking to the Jews when he was reading reading the scripture how could he be saying my father because he and his father are the same person like have you heard that old dude like I am my own mother that that old joke like I am my own mother I am my own grandmother God God is infinite is omniscient omnipresent so if we can believe that he is omniscient omnipresent can create the whole world we can't believe and we can believe that he's in every single one of us in the form of the Holy Spirit you know we can't believe that God is in two places at once or that he's talking about himself in like the third person we find it's so hard to believe that Jesus is in the garden saying fathers that are in heaven how would be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done and Earth is in heaven but yet we find it so hard to believe that Jesus is praying to himself but yet we find it's but we can believe that he's in every single one of us and a piece of them and we believe that the holy spirit that God poured all that he was into Christ in Christ poured all that he was into the or the Holy Spirit and then he pour that into us so we believe right there that's three different manifestations of God but yet we can't believe that there's a father and that we can't believe that Jesus but yeah we can believe that Jesus is going to sit on what is the right hand side of Christ uh of of the father and that we would that we would sit with the with with Christ and his throne but yet we find it so hard to believe that he's praying to his father so like okay but like he said not my will but thy will be done so Jesus was a man just like all of us he said let let thy will be done in earth not on Earth because it is in heaven he wasn't talking you're on mute I can't hear you I can't hear you at all like we can we can't hear you whatsoever ice was not talking about on Earth as like the RT standing always talking about inner this Earth let thy will be done in earth as it doesn't happen because right there that's where Christ overcame his flesh he won the battle against his flesh and the spirit man so that's where when he says let that will be done in earth he's saying Lord help me overcome My Flesh and let thy will be done the same way we sit here on our knees and we say Lord let your will be done and my life like let like let me push aside what I want my desires and let your will be done in my life because Christ said to come to the same spot that we come to in every one of our lives and because he had overcome his flesh the same as us same as brother Branham and I really think that's where you come to that point because because and even on the if you're going to talk about the separating them Christ and the father then what what do you say when Christ was on the cross he said father or uh my God my God where art thou because yeah yeah because he he his Spirit left his body like he's like he like the whole the God that was into Christ and departed because God could not die only Jesus bought like Jesus the man like his flesh could die but Jesus God could not die he's he's all-knowing yeah my spirit could not die but the flesh had to die it's like you used to break it farther and farther and farther down because it's more than just there's so many different reports in the Bible where where that happens and you really it may not be something that I can completely explain but it's just one of those things like I may not understand it but I believe it the way that that God said it I agree with the uh that I agree with the comment I'm thoroughly impressed by you Jeremiah I was waiting and hoping that you would go to the position of yes it is flush because that is the answer because Jesus literally says to uh to his disciples before he goes to praise watch you and pray lest she enter into temptation the Spirit indeed is a willing but the flesh is weak so in in spirit he was God and flesh you as man the spirit of God Indy was willing to go and die but as flesh was weak and he was showing that to us like I don't want to go do this like maybe he's showing us like yeah I'm still human and I don't want to go through all this pain I don't want to but nevertheless but this is still though but the BAM said even God didn't recognize the Flesh of his own son to give him Free Will for whatever he did he did just as the father should Jesus never disobeyed his his father you know he only did as the father showed him so In This Moment he proves he is not a separate person he is the person of God because he only does the will of the father and your answer was spot on so one of these next times I may I might have you on actually one of these times to go through the guy that would I want actually I wanted to go into the guide with different people I have one with you Zan Eamon Trevor Eamon Bob black different ones different people to approach these things from different angles because if I go with you you and I are going to go with the semantics if I go with brother Trevor he's he likes to talk about well why do we believe Jesus isn't a separate person because the Trinity is wrong because there's a father that's just going to say you are bad and the Holy Spirit is going to say I'm going to come and help you in a song that says do whatever you want when in essence that isn't right he says it isn't right not because the semantics but because of the you know Salvation and things like that like I have people used to believe that like the father hated him but the son loved them because because I used to believe like well God is judging me but Christ loves me it's like people people and Catholicism feel that way sometimes they feel like God is judgment and wrath but Jesus is Love and they feel like there's two separate people there but it's really really the same person in different manifestations showing different attributes we don't believe this way we don't believe it this way because of the uh because of the um semantics of it because David I'm really excited about that one um a week from tomorrow I never really could picture how Christ was agonizing in prayer until I saw the Life of Christ dramatized his Sight and Sound here in Pennsylvania it gave a whole new perspective to what he went through in the flesh right but the man said that okay before we leave here go here Jeffy Jeffy because you and I could go on about this for days uh what are tapes you'd recommend for people to listen to it there's not it's not a you don't have to give the best answer possible just what helps for you the most if I'm being honest I don't listen as much as I should I really I get busy and I don't do it like I should and that's not something I recommend because it I I don't know um tapes why are people so tossed about was a good one for me um um I thinking man's filter um really really why are people still talking about you know powerful sermon really it really hits hard shows it really talks a lot about um a lot about what we we deal with on a regular day's day like a regular days basis of like why are we so why is it so hard to live a overcoming life things like that that why are people so talking to us about helps a lot um well what's the other one I'm trying to think of um the name just blanked um I had the name of the sermon in my head um [Applause] oh what I think it's why why Christ why Christ speak hang on let me I think that's the one we do I'm not the table my computer I thought I did but um I think it's why why Christ speak is the one that I'm thinking of um but there's a lot every sermon I've ever listened to has been helpful I don't know really good ones for the godhead necessarily just sermons that have helped me would be the ones that I just mentioned um but for the godhead I honestly couldn't I mean serpent seed of course I mean you can see that one not necessarily directly with the godhead but it kind of shows you the nature of man
